I'd get the game betting that they'll have the game breaking stuff fixed by the release, because if they release in broken state again i'm gonna start to wonder what they've been spilling into the company coffee..

I haven't touched the PC version since 3-4 months after release knowing that I would most likely get the PS4 version. I didn't want to spoil the PS4 version with the mods, etc. After reading all of this, I am kind of thinking of cancelling my PS4 pre-order on PSN while I still can. It sounds like a total nightmare. What are you guys doing that got it digitally?

They sold less than 4000 copies in their second week on sale in Japan... +/- 20000: Week 1 +/- 4000: Week 2 I think they shouldn't have released on PS4, period.
I don't think it has to do with being on ps4 or with a disinterest from the japanese playerbase, imo its because of the game being full of bugs and getting destroyed in amazon japan reviews

I hate to see all of the problems and negativity Spike is having with the release. I also hate to see the community fighting over everything. Personally, i p will just be patient and do other things while all the bugs are being ironed out.

They must have the major bugs resolved by the 28th. If the western release has the same issues, I expect the reviews/ response to be much worse. There's already a lot of (unwarranted) expectations that it's going to be the WWE 2k killer. |

Just curious about these "bugs" being reported. What specifically are the issues being talked about? Are we talking about a little bit of lag time on the menus, or are we talking about the game freezing and crashing?

It's save corruption and slowdowns.
There were some minor glitches at launch too like Okada's face not properly loading.

I mean, they're releasing it in the US, where there's been 2k games with game breaking bugs(the tag teams always get broken up after an update for 2k14 comes to mind, hated that because of all the work and the loading times to go back and make the changes, and the entrances,....), they're just trying to fit in with what most people already expect in a wrestling game as to not upset the balance.

wait I thought they fixed it already?!?! Your telling me there’s another one ? Same one. They pushed a patch for it but it turns out the bug they fixed wasn't the cause of the save corruption issue.
There were some minor glitches at launch too like Okada's face not properly loading. That one was already fixed from what I heard. |
