I'm in no rush for the DLC so I don't really care about this. It would annoy me more to have to download a series of patches before the thing works properly.

Even if it arrives early September I have to problem waiting a few months until Carlzilla and View's mods are stable with the latest version.

I can appreciate Carl's issue since it affects his work, which is a significant part of the community. I don't really understand the indignant impatience of the average consumer though.

I downloaded the source code for MDickie's Wrestling Revolution 3D and am currently working on my own PC version using NJPW wrestlers with a Young Lion story mode

I will release my version on Steam. But it's critical that the community abandon fire pro and make the switch so Spike Chunsoft takes notice.

There will be a complicated loot box p2w model to recoup the extreme financial losses I have already incurred

Steam might remove it entirely. There was such an issue on Roblox involving an unauthorized Pokemon game. Roblox removed it because of Nintendo’s response.

Not only is a game breaking bug tanking their game in Japan but the US date is set. They can't delay a brick-and-mortar physical release this close to launch. They have to isolate the bug and create a day one patch by the 28th. Come hell or high water.

The New Japan deal looked to propel Fire Pro (back) in to the big time, but the timetable attached to it unfortunately appears to have been it's undoing - should have stayed in Early Access longer. At the end of the day though the decision makers at Spike Chunsoft appear to have decided to cash in now instead of taking on more short term losses in exchange for the possibility of greater returns down the road.

I think the hate this game seems to be getting is a bit much... no games perfect when released and also for people that are complying I bet are still playing it on the pc.
Yes there are things that they could have done better but I can’t chqnge that now (well with a patch they can). There’s one thing I miss from the old games and that’s the fake/real rosters from the old game. After playing returns I feel they missed out on something that made those games different and what got them a lot of fans other then the game play. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy they added njpw roster but not everyone is into new Japan and would of loved that style roster.

I had no hate or complains for the game UNTIL they pulled that stunt, i was supposed to be all happy and chipper tomorrow, celebrating because in less than 48 the dlc would come and all my waiting would be over.

Now i'm here, waiting again, like a old prostitute waiting for a customer, wondering when in september they will decide to release this thing, because they couldn't even come with a solid date to a at least mitigate this mistake.

I never thought there would be another Fire Pro, I'm kinda surprised any kind of wait bothers people. I mean the alternative was no Fire Pro so...? I mean it's not like EA is putting out Fire Pro lootbox edition.

People gonna mad though I guess....a couple months compared to like 12 years seems like nothing, regardless of if PC people deserve it first or whatever.

Hell 10 years ago I would've fought an old lady to get the Wonderswan version with mods...

I understand all the anger though I guess, usually I'm mad about stuff like this but in Fire Pro's case I would wait five more years and let them garnish my wages. Just so weird to be seeing people mad after we all thought it was never going to happen.
