You know this 'civil war' problem with people going mods or no mods? I'm literally torn in the middle of it. I love the mods. All my people of my main roster have named Signatures, a lot have extra moves and items on them (and the fact that I actually made some means something, you know?) BUT I also really want to buy the DLC and actually use it. I mean I'd buy it either way because as been said, down the line, sometime, years from now maybe even, all these mods will still be alive while the game isn't supported any more (though I'm sure the Workshop would still be since they never seem to close those on Steam) but now I have to go 'what matters to me more?' And right now? Don't have an answer. That sucks. :/ You can join the third team, those members who will run a modded copy and an updated copy to fuck around with until the mods can be updated. Also known as Wakanda.

Yep, I'm gonna have my modded pc game and play the dlc on my ps4. Legit Revolver Ocelot, playing both sides for my own benefit.

I'll probably swap between versions on PC, hopefully I'll be able to export my Njpw and remade swa edits so I'm not forced into using the defaults. Maybe even export a couple of rings. My mod to override defaults should still work, since it's pretty basic.

Can we stop the 'Civil War' bit?
I dont think anybody in here is against the mods and is happy Carl (and others) do what they do.
It's been more of a 'please dont start a potential bridge fire' as the debate.

XD I was just using that as a basis for the start of my explanation. I'm pretty much not against anyone, I just can't choose to go with mods or not. Especially since I have access to exactly one computer and trying to make two copies to play this would be basically impossible if I forget frequently to swap out saves (which will happen I know it)

Probably backing up your current assembly and swapping between it and the updated version (including save swapping) when you want to switch. Also, ensuring that you're in offline mode when you want to play the modded version so it doesn't update your game. A lot of gymnastics, but that's the situation we're in.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how the guys who brought us our favorite game back to life are now being called jerks because of a delay or god forbid, a change in priorities.

Because the change in priorities is aimed at the longest supporting group and is totally unwarranted and signals a shift that many PC gamers know all too well, and are very familiar with.
I defended and respected a lot of their choices, but this will not be one of them. It doesn't matter if they resurrected Christ, they don't get a pass simply because I happen to enjoy something that they did. Just as you are trying to figure out my position, I'm trying to wrap my head around the sycophant mentality that allows people to keep giving them passes for poor decisions.

We all have our own opinions. I don't think anyone is wrong for having one. Personally, I think that the way they've handled all the delays is probably what has people the most upset. There is no way these issues weren't known about far longer than a week before release. Promoter has been pushed back a number of times. I personally don't care for the way Spike has handled it's business for the group that helped get this going. I understand why, but they're handling this entirely wrong IMHO. Emotions run differently with every person. When you've had the carrot dangled in front of your face multiple times and have it pulled away at the last second enough times, bitterness will follow.

QUICK! POST SOMETHING SO COOL THAT IF THE REASON FOR THE DELAY WERE TO ADD IT TO THE GAME THEN ALL WOULD BE FORGIVEN!
Mini sizes for edits for midget wrestlers.

Remember, it's okay to be supportive/understanding of the development team's position while being frustrated (and letting them know about it) with the Spike executives actually responsible for the decisions made. Matsumoto and co. are the guys who pushed for Fire Pro's recreation and did all the work, they deserve the support.
