I can't even believe that
That's so utterly heartbreaking
She was amazing and would have ruled the ring for the next decade

This is a crushing loss for sure to not only the joshi community, but wrestling as a whole. An incredibly talented wrestler and another unfortunate victim of cyber-bullying.
Tragic. I just hope this serves as a call for help considering this online hatred that persists in this area of the world. Can't let hatred win.
RIP

Really can't believe it about Hana. Such a huge loss for Stardom and wrestling as a whole. We'll never know just how big an impact she was going to make, but she was one of the future stars of this business for sure. All this aside from the simple human loss of a 22-year-old girl deciding life wasn't worth living anymore. "I don't want to be a human anymore" breaks my heart.
I think I'm really taking it to heart because I've struggled with depression for a long time, occasionally critically severe depression. It's like fighting another part of your own mind. And I don't know if I could have handled it if that voice inside was backed up by hundreds of strangers on the internet every day. And sometimes all it takes, when you fight something like that, is one really, really bad day.
I really wish she'd have made it through yesterday, because surviving that one day might have made all the difference. Like so much else about her and her life and her seemingly bright future and everything she was going to be, we'll never know. We'll just never know.

It pains me to think that there will probably not much more than a cursory police investigation, and nobody is likely to be charged. The messages she got on Twitter were disgusting and constant and as far as I am concerned those people should be tried for murder.

Another Seinfeld alumni, Richard Herd aka Mr. Wilhelm died today at 87. That makes 3 Seinfeld cast members this month.

Ian Holm. One of my favourites. Brazil, Alien, Naked Lunch, Lord of the Rings.

We still frequently hear Ennio Morricone's music even today in commercials, tv, movies, video games, etc. Few composers have had the impact on a film score that he did, and even fewer of those endured as long. RIP
I also want to salute the late Carl Reiner who died almost 2 weeks ago (just found out yesterday), aged 98. He is unequivocally one of the funniest entertainers we will ever know. I NEVER saw an interview with him that didn't leave me smiling, even when he was talking about very heavy things. Nobody has a legacy of TV hits quite like him. The man was a genius. Not a comic genius. A bona fide genius. RIP.
Edit: RIP Charlie Daniels

R.I.P. Ennio Morricone, I'll be listening to Ecstasy of Gold in his honor today.
He had a long and memorable life and influenced music, movies, and culture. Ecstasy is one of my favorite songs of all time and helped me become a bigger fan of the western genre. It was also Metallica's concert opening for years before I learned that it wasn't their song! That's the first time I ever heard it though.
The timing is really weird on this.
I played Red Dead 2 this morning for the first time in months.

That's the first time I ever heard it though. My wife and I actually entered our reception to the Metallica-performed version of Ecstasy. They're definitely why I knew who Morricone was, but he was a huge part of the iconic "epic western" sound. I'm glad he lived long enough to see that he had left a legacy. I feel like his work's been much more recognized in the past couple decades, and it's good he was around for that.
