The Black Dragon "People are real damn quick to jump to conclusions these days. The last few weeks, I've been out... not because I was seriously injured, but because I was essentially told 'take it easy so it doesn't get worse'. And... hell, for once I had to listen. It's been long enough, though... and I'm looking to get the Victorious Medal back. One single move cost me not only that title, but apparently, damn near everything else... so I'll make one thing perfectly clear to you Blackrose and Sakura Pro bunch: I know exactly why you did what you did. I know exactly why you were so eager to vacate your precious championships.
I'll be coming to reclaim them and more before long.
And as for GPC... you'll learn that lightning doesn't strike twice. You got lucky once. You won't get a second chance."

Japanese combat sports site, Road of Fight spoke with a number of L-Pro wrestlers yesterday, about the upcoming Lightning Strikes Once in Nagoya event, airing tonight at 8:00 PM CT on the Senatorial Streaming Service. www.twitch.tv/senatorphillips Here's some of the highlights, as always, <brackets> indicate a translation from Japanese: Naoka Takemura: <A lot of people are talking about KYUBI, about how impressive she is, but all that tells me is that she's a perfect villain for my story, because every great hero needs a great villain to fight against. And I'm going to go out there and with all of my supporters standing behind me, I'm going to win my match, because that's what the Star of the Show does.> --- Rumika Hashi: <Iguchi is very good, but he's even more arrogant. That's why I asked for this match. And that's why I'm going to kick him until he shows that he's learned his lesson.> --- Eiji Sato: <The people already counted us out, but they don't realize, we see things they don't. You're the Stardust Angel, the bright light in the evening sky. The future of L-Pro. And I'm the Bebop Tiger, the cool cat who plays the fierce notes.> Kaede Kinoshita: <Our team might not make sense, but we're the two hidden gems of L-Pro. Eiji once knocked out Skullface Killah with a suplex! And nobody's seen my best moments yet.> Eiji: <That's because they're just about to happen, baby, just watch us jam out there.> --- ALEXANDER: <A great leader knows that he needs strong allies in the long run. And nobody's stronger than Tarkhan.> Tarkhan the Mangler: <ALEXANDER and I have waged wonderful wars with each other! But now it's time that we stand side by side as comrades in conquest! That is why we are now named Worldwide Conquest!> ALEXANDER: <And when we beat Sato and Kinshita, we will then set our sights on the Destructive Duo, and we will defeat them. But know this: that is not the end of our goals, that is just the beginning! Worldwide Conquest is not just a name, it's our destination!> --- The Outlaw, Sam Hall: I got booked. About time I got booked, I tell them! Ito and the rest of that board think they can hold me back, and I know their game, they only give me matches against outsiders so I don't wreck their big names, but hear this; I'm going to beat the tar out of Wes Wrangler, and when I do, the next step is going to be to take my shot at that Victorious Medal! --- Gary Gear: Biggest damn match in our careers, I'm so hyped up, I'm gonna set some new maxes today! Adonis Avery Alexander: You say that, but all I see are two... Gear: Don't finish that! AAA: Two overweight, obese, sloppy looking, slow moving women who for some reason scare everyone out of their boots. But not me. Because unlike them, I take precision care of myself, unlike them, I'm genetically destined to be the best in this game, and unlike them, I can look at myself in the mirror with pride. Gear: Aw man. They hear that...we're toast. AAA: Pff, let them hear that, I'm not scared. Gear: Uh, I am. AAA: Your mind is as weak as your cardio. Gear: Screw you, your brain fell out of your head when you did all those backflips! AAA: You're calling me stupid? You're calling me stupid? Gear: Man, if you don't have a healthy fear of Crusher Honda wrecking your "perfectly genetic" neck, then yeah, I'm calling you an idiot! AAA: Whatever. --- Wrecker Yamamoto: <You know what they said?> Crusher Honda: <Tell me.> Wrecker: <They said we're two "overweight, obese, slow moving, sloppy looking women!" Those two bodybuilders said that!> Crusher: <You know what looks sloppy? A rat that gets run over by a delivery truck! And we're going to deliver that kind of destruction to both of them! I don't want to just win, I want to end them! Break their skulls, their necks, their ribs, their spines, I want to hear their bones crack, I want to laugh as they cry out in pain, I want to be there when their careers end in the ring!> Wrecker: <That sounds like my kind of a time, Crusher.> Crusher: <We're going to have a very, very good time...> --- G.P. Christopher: Nobody gets why I asked for a rematch. Why should I ask for another match with the Black Dragon when I took the Victorious Medal back to L-Pro and I left her laying on the mat? It's already a done deal, what's the point? And the real question everyone's really asking; why take such a big risk when I already fluked my way into such a big win and the #2 spot in the Office? GPC: But that's exactly why I have to do this. Because if I don't at least try to prove that this wasn't a fluke, I can't be the King of the Openers. I can't call myself the hardest working man in pro wrestling if I don't back it up. And that's why I'm doing this. To prove to me that it wasn't a fluke. That it wasn't a one time deal. I'm going to be a proud fighting champion, and I'm not gonna leave any questions unanswered in my career. Love me, like the ladies of Kyoto do, or hate me, like anyone who wants this title does, I'm making sure you all respect me. GPC: Black Dragon, you're one hell of a wrestler, you're every bit the force of nature they all said you were. But now that I've beaten you once, that I proved I could do it, can you step up this time? Pressure's on, Dragon.

A bit of an...interesting event all around, many thanks to everyone who showed up, and to Firehawk, Hana, Dawn and Denizen for the use of their edits. RESULTS Lightning Strikes Once in Nagoya Friday, November 29 at 8:00 in the North Star Palace Conference Center in Nagoya, Japan Main Event - Victorious Tag Medal Bout The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto)(C) vs. The Muscle Machines(Adonis Avery Alexander and Gary Gear) While some expected a one sided demolition here, the Muscle Machines held their own against the Duo, with a number of close calls, with Adonis Avery Alexander scoring a number of near falls. However competitive the match was, though, the Duo demonstrated their teamwork and resilience is not to be underrated, with Honda barely flinching at several Pinnacle Dropkicks, and Wrecker finally putting AAA away at the thirty three minute mark with an emphatic Final Cut. Twilight KYUBI(Typhoon Pro) vs. Naoka Takemura Twilight KYUBI demonstrated her high speed ability in a back and fourth bout against the self proclaimed "Star of the Show," but Naoka Takemura's focused approach allowed her to keep the pace from getting out of hand. Near the end of the bout, Takemura found herself on the losing end of a brawl on the outside, with KYUBI running back inside, looking for a dive, only to run into the corner at full speed. This seemed to disorient her for the rest of the match, allowing Takemura to lock in her vicious modified ground manji hold for the win. Western Warfare Wild Wes Wrangler(Wrestle Parade) vs. The Outlaw, Sam Hall Wes Wranger arrived in Nagoya after miscommunications kept him from the last TIPWF event. He seemed to be in his element, outbrawling and out wrestling Sam Hall. But the Outlaw has always shown a dirty mean streak with his back against the wall, and managed to catch Wrangler with the Damn Your Eyes diving DDT, knocking him out for the win. Victorious Tag Medal #1 Contender Bout Worldwide Conquest(ALEXANDER and Tarkhan the Mangler) vs. Eiji "Jay" Sato and Kaede Kinshita A shocking upset in a match where Sato and Kinshita found, much like GPC in the Preliminary Main Event, that speed kills and taking the fight to their two esteemed foes was the proper route. ALEXANDER and Tarkhan got some of their big moves in, but when it mattered, the Stardust Angel hit ALEXANDER with an avalanche poison rana to secure a shot at the Victorious Tag Medals. Satoshi Iguchi(ZIP Japan) vs. Rumika Hashi Rumika Hashi was determined to teach a lesson in humility to Satoshi Iguchi in this bout, and did indeed kick him around from post to post. But in spite of his arrogance, Iguchi has always been a tremendously skilled competitor and fired back with his arsenal of cutters, before putting Hashi away with a back to back series of rana bomb counters. Preliminary Main Event - Victorious Medal Bout G.P. Christopher(C) vs. The Black Dragon(Phoenix Rising) This was undoubtedly the best version of GPC that has ever stepped through the ropes. From bell to bell, he went toe to toe with the Dragon, never stepping off the gas, pushing the pace and refusing to back down. While the Dragon had some moments of her own, roasting Christopher with her Dragon Breath and going for the infamous facelock, she seemed far from the impossibly dominant force that has horded multiple promotion's gold over the last year, and eventually fell to the Destiny Driver, this time, taking the three count. One has to wonder how much of this win was due to GPC's determined confidence, or if there have been external factors for the former Medal holder. --- Match of the Night: Worldwide Conquest vs. Sato and Kinshita -A fast paced tag struggle that didn't drag on at any point, Sato and Kinshita both rising to the occasion. Performer of the Night: G.P. Christopher -Unquestionably the best showing of GPC's entire career to this point, and a remarkable accomplishment in defending his title against the odds. --- After his match, GPC was cornered by an interviewer on his way out of the North Star Palace. A gaggle of women were seen waiting outside, waving furiously to the champion. G.P. Christopher: Make it quick, I got the GP Club to attend to here. Interviewer: You won your rematch, any thoughts? GPC: Yeah, I proved to myself that I'm that damn good. Let's be real here. We all knew we had unanswered questions with this match. That's why I asked for it. Don't make any mistake. Dragon's not some chump. She's the scariest opponent I've ever faced, that I ever will face. She's got a hundred ways to beat you, and a thousand ways to make you hurt. Strong as hell, mean as a debt collector. So when people say "she wasn't that good," let them step in the ring with her. Interviewer: What's next? GPC: I figure ALEXANDER is going to be busy challenging for the tag medals, but if he's open, I'm good for giving him his shot that he's owed. Tarkhan makes sense, too. But what I'm looking forward to is first, I want a shot at King Bemba in London for that Pan African show! Bemba's got my #1 ranked spot in the Office and I want to take that away from him. Because if anyone deserves to be #1, if anyone's putting in the work to be the face of the Office, it's me. So tell Bemba to get ready, because I'm gunning for his spot! Interviewer: There is talk in the media that your relationship with Lightning Pro management has been troubled as of late, can you tell us about that? GPC: You know, I don't have time for this. I've made the ladies wait too long. Time to celebrate in style.

The Black Dragon "I'm gonna tell GPC exactly what I told Megan Van Horne over in Blackrose. Someone finally had what it took to step up and do what had to be done. So first thing's first... going over what the hell's happened these past couple of months.
A few weeks back in the first match... well, you saw what happened. GPC's Destiny Driver, one hell of a move might I add, laid me the hell out. God knows I've already had my share of... issues, when it comes to getting dumped on my head, or neck... thank you, Crusher... and maybe he's figured out the secret.
Is this the end of the road? Hell no. GPC proved himself. He's fucking worthy. And that's still all I ask for. Step up, or get laid to waste. Bring your best, or don't bother showing up at all.
You could make a legend of yourself."

-The upcoming Office schedule has been solidified, with Friday, December 6th hosting a Wacker Drive Revival event, Friday the 13th serving as the lucky date for Pan Africa in London and Friday the 20th will be the day for the landmark PEWA 20 event, with a possibility of Thursday the 19th being reserved, with the size of the card reportedly having grown to epic proportions. --- Lightning Pro Chairman, Shima Ito responded in Japan's Road of Fight publication to rumors of unrest in Lightning Pro, with a brief highlight posted below, translated from the original Japanese: Shima Ito: <I know it's hard to understand, but I am not anti-foreigner. Dean Bardo is a valued member of our management, Tarkhan has been great at promotion. The Muscle Machines do what is asked, most of the time. The problem seems to be that the issues we have in management are disproportionately related to a handful of people who happen to be foreign.> Road of Fight: <You mean, GPC, correct?> Shima: <Sam Hall has been an irritant for a long while. He never stops pestering management. He can add value to a card, but there are times we must book other people, and he needs to understand that he cannot continue bothering us every time decisions are not in his favor. And he needs to understand that he does not do himself any favors by inflicting injuries upon his opponents, especially the ones from other promotions.> RoF: <And GPC?> Shima: <Allow me to speak carefully on this subject. Mr. Christopher is likely the best worker we currently employ. He has earned the right to make some demands, unlike Sam Hall. But he needs to understand that there is a limit to that. We cannot continue booking our Victorious Medal and our champion in the opening match. This forces us to go out of our way to arrange a distorted card overall and is not sustainable. Furthermore, he ends up leaving with a crowd of women directly after his match at the start of the show, which is not behavior I consider to be appropriate or professional. Finally, Mr. Christopher's insistence on working matches around the world on a regular basis is taking a toll on our touring plans and cannot continue.> RoF: <What are your plans for the Medal, going forward? Do you plan on giving ALEXANDER an opportunity on the next tour?> Shima: <Yes, ALEXANDER will open up the next tour challenging for the Medal. Tarkhan the Mangler will close the tour out with his own challenge. I want Mr. Christopher to prove that he is worth this trouble and he will have to defend his Medal many times on the January tour.> RoF: <Do you think the Super Grey Machine might be one of those challengers? Based off your comments, it sounds as if you might want to teach GPC some personal lessons in conduct.> Shima: <I am not the Super Grey Machine! But if I was...it would be a bad look to try to fight for the Medal.>

A big time WDR event to close out the year for the Chicago based fed, with The Loop on the line, the Sensations in action and a series between the D-Team and the Action Pack. Wacker Drive Revival - Winter in the Windy CityFriday, December 6th at 8:00 PM (CT) at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Main Event - The Loop Championship Bout The Internationale("The Marxist" Joseph Harpo, Humberto Ortega and Sarita Jean Watkins) vs. Blue Destiny(Jin Matsuda, Maki Yoshida and Yumi Yamaguchi)(ZIP Japan)The Internationale have proven to have been proud, strong champions for Wacker Drive Revival, defending The Loop and representing the company well elsewhere. Now, however, they might just face their strongest challenge to date against a trio of ZIP Japan's most accomplished competitors, with Matsuda, Yoshida and Yamaguchi each presenting a standout resume and gold to their names. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #4 - Frank Van Sloan's Final Match with WDR Mr. Moonsault vs. Frank Van SloanFrank Van Sloan has stated that this will be his final match as a member of the WDR roster, with his contract running out at the end of the year and no plans to renew with the company. As such, he will anchor the Action Pack in this four match series against the biggest name in Wacker Drive, Mr. Moonsault, a match for which Van Sloan reportedly arranged the series to receive. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #3 Freight Train McMichaelson vs. Dutch SchwartzThe two powerhouses of their respective teams, the Freight Train and the Eradicator face off here, with the Freight Train having shown flashes of an improbable late career renaissance in recent months and Schwartz seeking one for himself. The Sensations(Kn!p Amoranth(OASIS) and Miss Bauhaus) vs. Animal Farm(Super Komodo and Lila Gila)Two of the biggest mainstream stars to ever appear in an Office ring, Bauhaus and her friend and fellow pop singer turned wrestler from the former OASIS promotion, the Rockstar of Pop, Kn!p Amoranth team up for the first time in Wacker Drive going up against the bizarre duo from the Animal Farm, Super Komodo and Lila Gila. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #2 D-Man Daunte Thomas vs. Ross MaloneAn inevitable slugfest between a former underground no holds barred fighter and a former decorated boxer, with the vocal leader of the D-Team, Daunte Thomas up against the head of the Action Pack, Ross Malone. Expect this to look more like a street brawl than a wrestling match. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #1 Elle Barrett vs. Astrid JohannsonThe ladies of the Action Pack and the D-Team match up in the first bout of their four match series, with Barrett's no-nonsense technicality matched with Johannson's hard hitting power approach. DUDE Smith vs. Gorilla PowerThe opening match could well win the match of the night award, with NBNF's blockheaded dynamo, DUDE Smith pitting his high end resiliency against the Animal Farm's own gorilla masked centerpiece, Gorilla Power.

The Loop is up for grabs tonight! www.twitch.tv/senatorphillips See it live on the Senatorial Streaming Service at 8:00 PM (CT)! --- In a rare solo interview as a member of the Internationale, Sarita Jean Watkins stopped by to speak with "Fast" Eddie Edison to talk about the Internationale's title defense against Blue Destiny. "Fast" Eddie Edison: Hey, thanks for taking a moment out of your day to talk, I promise I'm the last person who'll waste your time. Sarita Jean Watkins: How do you know that? Do you think you can possibly truly understand me, how presumptuous are you? Eddie: Woah there, just want to have a nice little talk for the Digest. Sarita: And speaking of your website, it just figures one of the biggest dirtsheets out there only hires old white men for its featured roles! Eddie: Uh, Maxwell McNally was black, the last time I checked...and I don't think I'm that old... Sarita: Now you want to correct me? You know that's a mansplaining microaggression, if this interview keeps going like this, I'm going to leave and I'm going to make sure all my followers on social media have nothing to do with you, any fed you announce for, or your website! Eddie: Ok, I give up, you're just looking for a fight. Thank you, I guess. Sarita: You know what, you're exactly right, I'm looking for a fight! Blue Destiny thinks they can walk into Chicago and take our championship, take the people's championship, and I'm not ok with that. I worked so hard to win The Loop, and the Internationale is doing so much good with it, wrestling in PWR, traveling around and speaking truth to power, and it's just not right that a team of people who have been so successful back where they came from want to come here and take that from us. So fine, maybe I'm just taking that out on this interview. Eddie: Is that, no, it can't be an apology, can it? Sarita: Shut up! What I'm saying is that I've never been so worked up over a match before, but if all the people we fight so hard for, all the oppressed, the marginalized, the disenfranchised, the overlooked, if they all come out and support us in return, maybe we can win this for them, and maybe the new future we're all hoping for can happen sooner than we thought! Eddie: You heard it here. A passionate plea, from one of the most enthusiastic women in the business. Sarita: Excuse me, did you just assume... Eddie: I cant win.

A solid show from start to finish, and two extra bonus matches added on at the last minute. RESULTS Wacker Drive Revival - Winter in the Windy City Friday, December 6th at 8:00 PM (CT) at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Bonus Match: Astro Traveler vs. The X-Treme Kid The Chicago crowd at the Wacker Drive Revival club got their full money's worth with an added bonus match, and one between two of WDR's best performers. Astro Traveler pushed the pace of the match, and while the XTK cut him open early, the Traveler seemed en route to victory, until the Kid caught him with a devastating triple series of superkicks, a kneeling X-ecution Kick, followed by a standard superkick that led directly in to a Sweet Chin Music for the win. Bonus Match: Big Robert Montgomery vs. Rick Humphries The first of two bonus extra matches, featured the big boss himself, Robert Montgomery against the hard boiled bodyguard of the Senator, Rick Humphries. Montgomery did well as long as he could channel oxygen through his body, gaining a near fall with the Smokestack Lightning brainbuster chokeslam, but as his breath faded, so did his chances, and Humphries was able to close things out with The Big Sleep, his low angle DDT. Main Event - The Loop Championship Bout The Internationale("The Marxist" Joseph Harpo, Humberto Ortega and Sarita Jean Watkins) vs. Blue Destiny(Jin Matsuda, Maki Yoshida and Yumi Yamaguchi)(ZIP Japan) The Internationale, with the Stakhonovite Warrior cheering them on, put up a perfectly respectable fight against Blue Destiny. Joseph Harpo found himself busted open, but not impeded by a headbutt from the iron headed Maki Yoshida, and the outside brawls were frequent and intense. In the end, however, it was the championship skill and ability of Blue Destiny that came through as former ZIP HW champ, Jin Matsuda caught Sarita Jean Watkins with a pumphandle driver for the win, and The Loop. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #4 - Frank Van Sloan's Final Match with WDR Mr. Moonsault vs. Frank Van Sloan with JT Bosco Prior to the match, Van Sloan addressed the crowd. Frank Van Sloan: You have all heard that it is time for the Universal Fighter to seek a new chapter in his life. It is time for the Uberkicker to move on. But the Action Pack will not be short changed by my leaving. Instead, as I leave, JT Bosco will now take my place here in the Pack and I believe he will take the team to a higher grade. Frank Van Sloan asked for this match, and delivered an impressive performance against Mr. Moonsault with his replacement in WDR, JT Bosco standing at ringside. Marcus Xavier found himself pushed to the limit by the Universal Fighter, having to go into overdrive on his moonsault based offence, surviving an Uberkick for a close call, and finally winning with a ferocious running dropkick. A standout match, and a perfect exit showing from Van Sloan. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #3 Freight Train McMichaelson vs. Dutch Schwartz The Freight Train has been in the best form of his pro wrestling career as of late, and once again demonstrated his renewed momentum, running over the Eradicator, Dutch Schwartz in short order, landing an explosive point blank Freight Train Tackle to get the three count and put the D-Team up 2-1 in the four match series. The Sensations(Kn!p Amoranth(OASIS) and Miss Bauhaus) vs. Super Komodo and Lila Gila A great showing for the Sensations, who earned the respect and support of the crowd, controlling long stretches of the bout, but in the end, Miss Bauhaus fell, after taking two successive repetitions of the Gila-Matic, Lila Gila's front flip running DDT. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #2 D-Man Daunte Thomas vs. Ross Malone A slugfest was expected, and the D-Man and the Ol' War Horse(Not THE Warhorse) did not disappoint, throwing bombs from bell to bell. Malone's gas tank let him down as the match went along, and while he survived Daunte's Inferno, his running pumphandle death valley bomb, a second one was enough to give the D-Man a victory and set the series to 1-1. D-Team vs. Action Pack Series #1 Elle Barrett vs. Astrid Johannson Astrid Johannson tried her best, but couldn't build any real momentum with Elle Barrett constantly keeping her off balance and out of rhythm, eventually scoring a rollup victory to win and put the Action Pack ahead by one to start their series. DUDE Smith vs. Gorilla Power A solid, if uneventful opener, with Gorilla and DUDE going toe to toe for much of the match. It seemed that Gorilla Power was going on a strong run as DUDE's stamina faded, but the DUDE managed to use his last breath to counter a Gorilla rana into a powerbomb for the pin. --- Match of the Night: Mr. Moonsault vs. Frank Van Sloan -Little question to this one, with both Marcus Xavier and Van Sloan leaving it all on the line, multiple close near falls and impressive techniques, this one was a competitive roller coaster right up to the finish. Performer of the Night: Freight Train McMichaelson -A completely dominant showing by the Freight Train, running through Dutch Schwartz as if he were an ENHANCE jobber. --- Following the Internationale's loss, an inconsolable Sarita Jean Watkins was seen stomping back to the team's locker room, her face in her hands. Humberto Ortega and the Stakhonovite Warrior followed on either side, while Joseph Harpo tried to apply a bandage to his bloody face, the sweat and blood making it rather difficult. Humberto Ortega: Hey, hey, it's all good, Sarita, no title means less pressure from the man, you know? Stakhonovite Warrior: We lose, it is only temporary. We win in the long run! We are on the right side of history! Humberto: Come on, baby doll, cheer up. Sarita Jean Watkins: *sniff* Don't call me such a *sniff* sexist name! And why aren't you upset we lost? Don't you care at all? At all? "The Marxist" Joseph Harpo: Maybe she's right. Stakhonovite: Joseph, you can't be serious, can you? Humberto: Yeah, mang, can't you like, chill? Harpo: No! We just lost the people's trophy, we lost our ability to be their voice! When we had The Loop, they had to listen to us, but now, they can choose to ignore our vital message. That was our chance, to be the vanguard, to make a real difference. And now it's gone. So yes, we should not be content, we should not be happy. I'm going to go get this cut closed. Go correct your thinking while I do that. Stakhonovite: I will take my leave. When we meet again, maybe we will do so with Soviet strength and return ready to renew the revolution! With Harpo and Warrior both gone, Ortega and Watkins shared a long, meaningful stare, as Ortega took on an uncharacteristically serious expression, while Watkins managed to slow down her breathing. Ortega: Maybe, maybe this sucked. Maybe, I dunno, we need to do better. I don't always care enough. It's just a good time for me, go wrestle, go blaze, live life. That's what it is. But I hate seeing you hurt. That chills my vibe. So maybe for you, Sarita, I try to care a little more. No promises, just gonna try. Sarita: I wish I could believe you. But you are who you are. Ortega: And you're who you are, it's all cool. I love you for being you. Sarita: Wait, excuse me? Ortega: Uh, I said, um, beat the horse, and it's glue. That's what I said. Sarita: What a regressive thing to say! And with that, Sarita Jean Watkins stormed into the Internationale's locker room and slammed the door shut. A few seconds later, Humberto Ortega tried the door, only to find it shut. Ortega: Uh, Sarita...my stash's in there...Sarita...my stash...

Golden Touch Promotions has announced that it will be running an end of year show on Friday, December 27, with a number of big names being thrown around, including SHTCWA's very own baseball queen, Mayday Malone and Phoenix Rising's legendary semi-retired giant, Binak Tonorian. -On a recent call during Digital Dave Doolittle's Ring Beholder podcast, Morgan "Midas" Matthews has stated that Colossus Rhodes, having defeated the Galastream's enormous Hyper Earth on the last Golden Touch card, will now set his sights to Desert Pro Wrestling's Giant the Cement in the main event. While no response has yet been received from DPW, it is expected that GTC will likely end up facing Rhodes. -Matthews also spoke in the same statement that he will be debuting the future centerpiece of the Golden Touch roster on the card, simply stating to expect that "The New Humanity will change the game." --- Pan African Wrestling returns to action this Friday in a special card held in London, England with a bevy of special guests and a mix between the Pan African roster along with a number of English born competitors. Pan Africa in LondonFriday, December 13th at 8:00 PM (CT) at the Indefatiguable in London, England Main Event: Pan African Championship Bout King Bemba(C) vs. The Winner of the #1 Contender's BoutBemba will defend both his spot in the Office and the Pan African Championship, fighting twice in one night, but that merely sets him even with his potential opponent for the main event, who has to win the #1 Contender's four way elimination bout. Africa vs. England Showcase Team OASIS(Jemila Kali and Kairi Practer) and the Black Star Cyclones (Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe) vs. Queen's Rangers(Phil Mercury and Valerie May) and the Heyward Sisters(Listalva Anne Heyward and Anari Lynn Heyward)(Phoenix Rising)A star studded match with two dynamic teams, putting the former OASIS duo of Egypt's Kairi Practer and Ghana's Jemila Kali pairing with another duo from the same nations, persistent rivals, Layla Al-Amin and Esi Dogboe. This group will be up against Wacker Drive's Queen's Rangers and teaming up for the first time in months, Phoenix Rising's Heyward Sisters. FENYANG vs. Obsidian(Independent)The mysterious Obsidian seeks to begin his warrior's path against the Heavy Metal Cowboy from Botswana, FENYANG in what could well be the match of the night. The Ol' Bloody Liverpool Derby Fred the Red(Wacker Drive Revival) vs. Stu the Blue(PEWA)Liverpool vs. Everton, once again. Need more be said? The Congolese Connection(Jean-Pierre Mutombo and Professor Mark Gizenga) vs. The Dynasty(Mohammad Ramses and Nefertiri)Seeking to team up in Pro Wrestling Revival, the former #1 ranked Jean-Pierre Mutombo and fellow DR Congo countryman, Professor Mark Gizenga will test themselves against one of the most cohesive teams in the Office, the Egyptian Dynasty of the husband and wife team of Ramses and Nefertiri. UCSS Rules Jumbo Joseph Butt(UCSS) vs. Renate BarloweThe Mercenary in Exile has made numerous UCSS appearances, and will face off under the UCSS ruleset against Newcastle upon Tyne's own, the massive boxer turned wrestler, Jumbo Joseph Butt. This will be yet another variation on the grappler vs. striker archetype, but Jumbo's far from helpless in the clinch, noted for a deadly powerbomb. Pan African Championship #1 Contender's Bout Ibrahim Rahman vs. Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan) vs. Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi vs. Onika SantosFour very different styles and levels represented in this match, as Tunisia's Ibrahim Rahman brings his technical skills, Thunder Fist his heavy hands, Mehrmohammdi a set of submissions and Santos with her agile kicks. Rahman and Fist are heavy favorites here, but Mehrmohammdi's steady improvement cannot be denied, nor can Santos's potential, in spite of her lack of experience. The winner here will gain a chance to take the title from King Bemba in the main event. Preliminary Main Event: Office #1 Ranking Bout King Bemba vs. G.P. Christopher(Lightning Pro)GPC demanded this bout after defeating the Black Dragon for two consecutive times in Lightning Pro. While Bemba has well earned his top spot in the Office through his dominant, busy run during the Pan African Tour, Christopher has been nothing but entirely driven to find himself as the face of the organization, taking on impossible challenges and succeeding against the odds. Whoever wins this match will finish 2019 as #1, and will likely have made a good case for a wrestler of the year award. --- King Bemba: It is time again for the King to defend the throne! I am the rightful holder of the Pan African Championship! No pretender will take that out of my hands! I am the rightful Number One in the Office! Nobody will pull that crown from my head! GPC can talk about how he beat the Black Dragon, but he did not beat me! And he will find that I am not impressed by his overrated record! During the Pan African Tour, I competed around the world, day after day, flying where I needed to be! I fought the best the world had to offer, the best Africa had to offer! I won back my Pan African Championship! I did what had to be done to remind everyone that I am the true and only King! G.P. Christopher: Look, for all his bluster, Bemba's legit. He's not smearing dog food on people or having his flunkies carry him around on a fake throne. He carries himself like a guy who doesn't need to play games to be the best. He isn't lying when he said he earned his place, or even that he deserves to be where he is. It's all true. But I'm not afraid. I know that if I want to be the best around, I have to beat guys like the Dragon, like Bemba. And I'll do that by outworking everyone around, and nobody can question my work ethic. I improve every time I step in the ring. You know how good I was to beat the Black Dragon? I'm going to be that much better when it comes time to beat King Bemba.

RESULTS Pan Africa in London Friday, December 13th at 8:00 PM (CT) at the Indefatigable in London, England Bonus Match: UCSS Rules - "Big Banter" Rory Banner(UCSS) vs. Anwar Omar Following the main event, Rory Banner stepped out from backstage, microphone in hand, to the regret of many. "Big Banter" Rory Banner: Wait a minute, wait just a minute, if you will! This program has been dreadfully incomplete, and truly lacking in proper star power. But fear not, for I am here and I am willing to rectify this problem and add a proper touch of dignity to these horrid proceedings! As Anwar Omar answered the call to take on Banner, the match itself was fairly one sided, with Banner's powerful knee strikes and intricate submissions keeping Omar at bay. The Somalian Survivor did not lose easily, consistently getting back up to his feet after every knockdown and enduring every submission, but by the fourth round, Banner's onslaught finally took its toll, and Omar just barely missed the ten count. Main Event: Pan African Championship Bout King Bemba(C) vs. The Winner of the #1 Contender's Bout Through the midway point of this match, it seemed that King Bemba was cruising to his second high profile victory of the night. However, Ibrahim Rahman was not to be counted out, his heart and well trained skills keeping him in the match, going for repeated one counts off his arsenal of flash pins. But the ones became twos over time, and Rahman managed to trouble the Pan African Champion as the match went on, enough so that an infuriated Bemba settled for a big splash to the back in the middle of the ring to finish things out and retain his title. To their credit, Yetunde Oya and Esther Musambi, Bemba's Royal Court were merely observers through the entire match, showing pure confidence in their champion. Africa vs. England Showcase Team OASIS(Jemila Kali and Kairi Practer)(OASIS) and the Black Star Cyclones (Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe) vs. Queen's Rangers(Phil Mercury and Valerie May)(Wacker Drive Revival) and the Heyward Sisters(Listalva Anne Heyward and Anari Lynn Heyward)(Phoenix Rising) A standout match where every single participant had their chance to shine, with the OASIS duo both making a strong impression, and some potential future matchups seeming likely as a result of the fast paced tags, including Layla Al-Amin and Phil Mercury as well as Jemila Kali and Listalva Anne Heyward. However, it was Esi Dogboe who scored the pinfall, after connecting on Listalva with the Black Star Cannonball 630 senton. FENYANG vs. Obsidian(Independent) A highly anticipated bout that lived all the way up to expectations, with the mysterious wandering warrior Obsidian making a strong impression upon the London fans as he did battle with FENYANG. The match scaled up quickly, with Obsidian's backbreakers, focused powerbombs and heavy lariats taking their toll, but FENYANG was if nothing else, determined, managing to connect with his signature double underhook facebuster into the Aces High diving headbutt for the closest of victories. The Ol' Bloody Liverpool Derby Fred the Red(Wacker Drive Revival) vs. Stu the Blue(PEWA) The Office's Mercyside duo are generally separated by two different feds and half of the geographic distance of the United States. That's a good thing, because when they do meet, bad things generally happen. This time was no different, with Stu repeatedly trying to demolish Fred's knees with low dropkicks and Fred managing to bite his Everton supporting foe open en route to a rollup victory that only served to understate the sheer hatred that flows from the ring every time it contains these two. The Congolese Connection(Jean-Pierre Mutombo and Professor Mark Gizenga) vs. The Dynasty(Mohammad Ramses and Nefertiri) This was an exceptionally competitive bout, with the Dynasty showing superior teamwork through much of the way, JPM's usual dynamic style being neutralized by Ramses and Nefertiri, but Professor Mark Gizenga was the deciding factor, catching Ramses in the Dissertation of Doom scissored dragon sleeper to gain a hard earned victory for the Congolese Connection. UCSS Rules Jumbo Joseph Butt(UCSS) vs. Renate Barlowe Jumbo Joseph Butt seemed to revel in being back closer to home as he comfortably fought off Renate Barlowe's patented leglocks, hitting repeated powerbombs, nearly finishing it at the end of the second, and wasting little time to do so in the third, and for some reason, went for a pinfall after he celebrated his victory. Pan African Championship #1 Contender's Bout Ibrahim Rahman vs. Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan) vs. Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi vs. Onika Santos Solid match to determine the challenger for Bemba's Pan African Championship, but it was Ibrahim Rahman who swept the field, taking Mehrmohammdi out early with a Gedo Clutch, Onika Santos with an inside cradle, and after an extended exchange with Thunder Fist, the Nomadic Retribution neck snap shocked the Botswanan Assassin long enough for a three count. Preliminary Main Event: Office #1 Ranking Bout King Bemba vs. G.P. Christopher(Lightning Pro) GPC gave this one his best shot, fighting an intelligent battle, looking to wear down Bemba with his speed and technique, but the Destroyer proved himself a class above by taking over with one move: the double powerbomb death valley bomb, the Royal Annihilation. --- Match of the Night: FENYANG vs. Obsidian -This was close to a three way draw between the showcase, the main event and this one, but Obsidian's public debut against the Botswanan Heavy Metal Cowboy was simply a hard hitting top notch contest that shifted back and forth until the conclusion. Performer of the Night: King Bemba -This one was NOT a close one in the slightest. King Bemba weathered the storm of GP Christopher to keep his #1 Ranking and fought off a determined Ibrahim Rahman to remain the Pan African Champion. Bemba has proven time and time again that he is the top wrestler in Pan African Wrestling, and the Senatorial Office. --- Fred the Red: Liiiiiivvvvverrrrpooool, Liiiiiiiivvveerrrrrrpooool! Bashin' that bastard blueshite bitter bellend never gets old, never! He's relegation fodder just like his beloved blues, haha! Pinned 'im fair and square, one, two, three, no VAR needed, keep feelin' that delicious fewm! --- Jean-Pierre Mutombo: It is good to be victorious! The Congolese Connection makes a successful debut and the people can rejoice! Professor Mark Gizenga: We have taught a very important lesson for everyone, because we did not only win, but we also won in such a way that can be studied for future reference. JPM: Mr. Mark! Now is not the time for class! Now is the time to celebrate the win! We are in London! It is time now to live the life and enjoy the culture of this great city! If there is a lesson here for us to teach, let's show London how to party! --- G.P. Christopher: You know what, I'm not mad. I took my shot. I came up short. All credit to Bemba, he's the real king around here, I guess. Don't get too comfortable, though, because I'll be back. But first, I'm gonna have to take a little detour back home... --- Ibrahim Rahman: I have worked on two things. The first thing has been my English. It is better now. I can speak in England in English, without stutter, without problem. The second thing has been my wrestling. It was good. But not good enough. I tried greatly, but failed. But at least I have one win tonight. Not the best win, but a good win. For that I am thankful. For the future, I will improve. I will speak better. I will fight better. And I will finally escape the contract of Midas Matthews. Those are my goals for the next year. --- King Bemba: Does anyone question me now? My reign is supreme! I have proven it here tonight just as I have proven it time and time in the past! GP Christopher took his shot at the King. He fell short! Ibrahim Rahman took his shot at the King. He also fell short! I am the best the Senatorial Office has to offer! I am the one who represents Pan African Wrestling to the world! I welcome all worthy challenges, face me in the ring, and learn what true dominance consists of!

This is it, this Friday, the biggest event in PEWA history, and one of the biggest in the history of the Office itself as the PEWA celebrates its 20th anniversary! Get your seat belts strapped in tight, this one'll be a wild ride! There'll be some big interviews, a historic timeline of the PEWA and much more posted this week, so pay attention! Do note, and be warned that this card will start an hour earlier than the usual Office events, at 7:00 PM CT, and will be a double length show by usual standards. PEWA 20Friday, December 20 at 7:00 PM (CT) at the Joe Frazier Arena in Philadelphia, PA Main Event: Jack Fury Retirement Match Jack Fury vs. Luke PowersJack Fury vowed to win the PEWA Extreme championship in 2019 or retire at the end of the year. Despite several valiant efforts, the former ace failed to recapture the gold he once held. Instead, he now takes on the man he mentored into the business, the Powerhouse, Luke Powers, the single most decorated champion in PEWA history in closing out a distinguished career that has lasted over a quarter century. One More Ride for the Cruisers The Cruisers(Cruiser Jacobs, Cruiser Conrad, Cruiser Taylor and Cruiser Khan) vs. The Ritual of the Flame(The Cremator, Beatriz, Zanca and Bath Salts Zombie)Showing back up in the fed they built, the entire team of the Cruisers is reunited one more time in the ring. In recent years, Jacobs, Taylor and Khan have founded their own fed, Highway Outlaw Wrestling, but return once again in teaming with PEWA President Cruiser (Biff) Taylor. In the other corner, the dreaded Cremator resurfaces, bringing back the calamitous Zanca to team up with fellow pyromaniac, Beatriz and the ever-chaotic Bath Salts Zombie. The seasoned bikers will have their hands full and then some if they wish to prevent the Ritual of the Flame from resurfacing in full within the PEWA. Wild War Mina Fitsharris with The Capitalists(Kevin Fitsharris and Anthony Kalb vs. Juliette Erving with Annie Chang and CiCi Reno(OASIS)A match that has been seen multiple times in the past, but with the difference this time around that Mina Fitsharris and Juliette Erving are currently the PEWA Extreme tag champions now and have become good friends over time. With fellow Wild Women associates Annie Chang and CiCi Reno at ringside, as well as Mina's husband Kevin and good friend Anthony Kalb, it seems that this one could just as much be a pleasant jaunt in the park as it would a wrestling match. And yet, anyone expecting that knows nothing of Fitsharris and Erving, who, despite their mutual good will, inevitably will spill each other's blood, pummel each other and fight like honey badgers until this one is over. The Bingo Hall Butchers(Jack Slash(BDW), Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) and Kantar(Phoenix Rising) vs. The Goodfellas(Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) and PEWA's Most Hated ("Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde and "The Glamorous" Jeffery Janson)Two of the most hated men in PEWA history, former champions Jeremy Wylde and Jeffery Janson team with the Goodfellas, the Made Men always happy to align with anyone who suits their purposes. Against this foursome, the heart and soul of the PEWA, Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah reach outside, reuniting the famed Bingo Hall Butchers with their old ally from BDW, Jack Slash and call upon Evergreen Wrestling's conqueror of the PEWA roster, Kantar to present a unified front. PEWA #1 Contender Bout - Light Tube Deathmatch Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. Florida ManTo the surprise of nobody, Tomas gets a chance to break light tubes in his match on the card. He'll do so against an old rival, Florida Man, who gave the Tiny Giant one of the toughest challenges of his title tenure, with the winner getting another shot at the belt currently held by Young Blood. NBNF Revisited Mr. and Mrs. Brown(Bodybreaker Brown and Downtown Lucy Brown) vs. NBNF(X-Treme Kid and Emerald Santiago)(Wacker Drive Revival)The husband and wife team of the Bodybreaker and Downtown were once aligned with the X-Treme Kid's NBNF faction in Wacker Drive Revival, having known him from a few showings in the distant past of the PEWA. However, with NBNF booting the Brown family from its ranks, there will be a good deal of enmity going into this tag match, both sides looking to settle old scores and prove a point, NBNF having held The Loop in their home fed, and Downtown Lucy Brown having become the PEWA Extreme champion since then. G.P. Christopher(Lightning Pro) vs. Hobo HarryTo say that GPC's exit from the PEWA was acrimonious would be to understate the matter. And yet, Christopher not only returns home, but even accepts a match outside of his preferred opening slot to take on his mentor, the ageless Hobo Harry in a match that could be expected to be a highlight of the night. The Return of the Horror Victor Van Banning and Jakob of Furis(OG-FPD) with Yamikuro vs. The Demon Priest(PCP) and Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi KarnsteinThe seeds for this bout were partly sewn many years ago in England, and more recently, at the PEWA's Halloween event, Horror of Hardcore, where Vladimir Henry defeated fellow vampiric wrestler, OG-FPD's Jakob of Furis and Victor Van Banning failed to purge the ring of PCP's Demon Priest. Now, the most unlikely of alliances has been forged, with Van Banning forced to join forces with Furis against the unholy team of the Demon Priest and Sir Vladimir Henry. The First Title Match P-Dogg vs. SkuraiP-Dogg defeated Skurai to become the first ever PEWA champion and the two had a feud that carried over during the early years of the organization. Now, having returned to action after years in obscurity, the Hardcore Ninja, Skurai seeks to avenge his loss from several decades back. Over the Top Royale Kengo Tamura vs. Dr. Trace Gibson vs. X-KIRA vs. Gabriel Cruise(PWR) vs. Masked Maniac IV vs. Killer King Jones(Santana Family Wrestling) vs. Da Outsider vs. Josh Belmonte(AAW)A colorful mix of crazed individuals from the PEWA's past, present and future, and a few outside guests to boot. Kengo Tamura, Killer King Jones and Da Outsider were PEWA originals, with Dr. Trace Gibson serving as a respected midcarder in the past, and X-Kira and Masked Maniac IV representing the potential future. To boot, Pro Wrestling Revival will feature Gabriel Cruise and one of the most decorated hardcore legends in the world, Josh Belmonte will travel over from New Jersey to reintroduce the PEWA ring to his particular brand of bloody mayham. Opening Once Again Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint vs. Tracy FinnThis was the very first match on the PEWA's inaugural event and it once again opens up twenty years later, with Sylvain Mint's return to the PEWA. Mint has had a career resurgence as of late, and seeks to once again defeat the ever-hapless Tracy Finn in this match.

As the PEWA celebrates twenty years in the industry, it's only fair that the fans get a chance to catch back up on the organization's rich history. As such, here is a detailed timeline on how the last two decades have come along in Philadelphia.
---
-Saturday, July 10th, 1999 The first ever PEWA Show takes place in the historic Halcyon Ballroom, the same venue still favored by the promotion.
-November, 1999 The PEWA gains national attention with the signing of Jack Fury, who is instantly granted a title shot against P-Dogg
-December, 1999 Jack Fury defeats P-Dogg to become the second PEWA Extreme Champion, the Bingo Hall Mutants defeat the Goodfellas in a Philly BBQ match to win the PEWA Extreme Tag Championships.
-2000 Jack Fury defends his title repeatedly, with memorable bloody feuds with Kengo Tamura and Bodybreaker Brown.
-2001 The Goodfellas leave the PEWA after losing the tag titles to the Bingo Hall Mutants. Jack Fury spends a good part of the year feuding with Killer King Jones.
-2003 The Cremator is fired "for life" from the PEWA after a post match incident in which he placed his teammate, the teenage stuntman, Zanca in a wooden box, poured gasoline on it, and set it on fire, due to a loss in a match against the Bingo Hall Mutants.
-2004 The PEWA signs one of the hottest prospects in all of pro wrestling, 19 year old Luke Powers, who instantly begins a winning streak within the year, including a massive win over both Bingo Hall Mutants in a two on one match. This was one of the first moves of Biff Taylor as he moved from an advisory role into the position of President of the PEWA.
-2005 Luke Powers debuts the Powers Bomb '05 to defeat Jack Fury to become the new PEWA Champion. Zanca begins an ill-fated "apprenticeship" with the Bingo Hall Mutants who feud for a good part of the year with the Cruisers.
-2008 The Bingo Hall Mutants and the rest of the backstage get fed up with Zanca, leading to the Mutants throwing him off a balcony through a massive stack of burning barbed wire tables. Unfortunately, not only did Zanca incur significant injuries from the fall, but one of the burning barbed wire tables from the stack fell onto a group of fans, leading to an expensive lawsuit and the immediate reduction of overt hardcore deathmatches. Killer King Jones departs for Japan and Bodybreaker Brown takes more of a backstage role at this point. Head referee Bernard Blackburn leaves the company. Biff Taylor is forced to deal with an "executive board" to approve all his decisions. The one bright spot in the year was the signing of Dr. Trace Gibson, who quickly upgraded the midcard scene.
-2009 Considered the beginning of the "PEWA Dark Age" with Luke Powers taking a hiatus from the company to address personal addiction issues. The PEWA Extreme title is treated like a hot potato for most of the year, with both Bingo Hall Mutants feuding over it for most of the first half of 2009, before "Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde wins it. Wylde's reign is ill-received, to say the least, but the worst was yet to come.
-2010 "The Glamorous" Jeffery Janson makes his PEWA debut, defeating Jeremy Wylde for the title, and some believe he was brought in so that the fans would rally behind Wylde in comparison. That did not happen. Instead, Janson and Wylde receive the ire of the Philadelphia crowds, who boo both, with attendance dropping from event to event as the two trade the title. If things weren't bad enough, the PEWA loses access to the Halcyon Ballroom for much of the year as the building receives a renovation that had started late in the previous year.
-2011 A mysterious corporate owner meddles in the PEWA, with the now-proclaimed "Corporate Idol" Jeffery Janson serving as the spokesman. Janson brings back the Goodfellas for a brief stint as his henchmen, and the company finally starts positioning Wylde as the heel that the crowd treats him as. The "executive board" steps back by the end of the year, with the company having sorted through its lawsuits and the media pressure having calmed down.
-2012 Luke Powers finally makes his long awaited comeback, having successfully made it through rehab and refocuses his career. Powers easily defeats both Janson and Wylde in a triple threat match in April of 2012, and a contingent consisting of Biff Taylor, the Bingo Hall Mutants, Hobo Harry, Bodybreaker Brown, P-Dogg and Tracy Finn put the two through burning barbed wire tables, banishing them from the fed while announcing the return of the old school, and of the PEWA's hardcore ways. The Dark Ages are officially over at this point, and the PEWA returns to its roots. Powers spends the rest of the year defending his title against fellow PEWA veterans.
-2013 The X-Treme Kid invades the PEWA, with the notorious backyard wrestler feuding with Luke Powers for a good part of the year. The Insanitairum cage debuts with a match between Hobo Harry and Dr. Trace Gibson, with Harry beating Gibson with a Hobosault off the top of the structure. Gibson left the PEWA shortly after the match.
-2014 The Masked Maniac III retires from active competition due to head injuries and becomes the PEWA's first chief referee since the departure of Bernard Blackburn.
-2015 Tomas the Tiny Giant signs with the PEWA, but doesn't permanently join the roster until the following year thanks to visa issues. Killer King Jones makes a brief return to the PEWA and nearly defeats Luke Powers for the Extreme title.
-2016 G.P. Christopher completes his training and is brutalized by the Bingo Hall Mutants in a "hardcore initiation," torn up with barbed wire, but gains the respect of the locker room by continuing to return to the ring week after week. Bodybreaker Brown marries his own personal trainee, Downtown Lucy Brown and the two leave the PEWA to work the independent scene.
-2017 The Goodfellas make a triumphant return to the PEWA, with Tony the Rod nearly winning the PEWA Extreme title after having won the East Coast Cruiser Cup, and the two holding the PEWA Extreme Tag Titles several times during the year.
-2018 The PEWA signs a working agreement with the Senatorial Office in January, with the Neon Knights crossing over and winning the PEWA Extreme Tag Titles, by May, at Lariats and Legislators #4, Tomas the Tiny Giant finally ended Luke Powers's four year run with the belt.
