Double Results! Both the televised Stop Three from Kinshasa, DR Congo and the amazing house show from Luanda, Angola are detailed here. Stop Three: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (Televised) Friday, August 23 at 8:00 PM (CT) Main Event - Pan African Championship Bout Jean-Pierre Mutombo(C) vs. Renate Barlowe Say it ain't so! Jean-Pierre Mutombo was dethroned as the Pan African Champion by an intent, intense Renate Barlowe, who methodically broke Mutombo's legs down before catching him with a backslide on the counter for a win that will live in Pan African infamy. CETRA's Arrival CETRA(Typhoon Pro) vs. Nefertiri A match delayed, but not unsatisfactory, with CETRA living up to her reputation, surviving several Pyramid Drivers and stretching Nefertiri out for the submission. Jishikamiku(Independent) vs. Yetunde Oya As intimidating as Yetunde Oya can be, Jishikamiku was fearless in this bout, running her elder opponent down and winning with a big superman punch. Lady Jaguar(Independent) vs. Kairi Practer(OASIS) One of the best matches on the card, with Practor's power and relentless chops keeping Jaguar at bay. In the end, however, Lady Jaguar was able to use her superior speed and agility to take the win. Professor Mark Gizenga vs. AFUME(The Galastream) The Professor's negative tactics may have dragged this out longer than expected, but AFUME was able to take the win with a page out of Gizenga's own book, catching him with a flash pin. Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) vs. Esi Dogboe Fast paced action and high flying punctuated this excellent match with both ladies quite familiar with each other from past shootouts in the ring. In the end, Dogboe hit a combination over the back driver with the Black Star Cannonball for a well earned win. George Marleau(Independent) vs. Killer King Jones(Santana Family Wrestling) Replacing the injured Anwar Omar, Killer King Jones put up a respectible effort, but George Marleau was looking for his first win on the Tour and would not be denied, lifting Jones's sizable frame up for a reverse powerbomb facebuster to take the victory. --- Match of the Night: Layla Al-Amin vs. Esi Dogboe -Two of the best performers on the tour did what they typically do and put on a show, plain and simple. Performer of the Night: Renate Barlowe -A monumental victory for the Mercenary in Exile, who demonstrated a laser focus in winning the Pan African Championship and defeating the #1 Ranked member of the Office. --- Stop Four: Luanda, Angola (House Show) Saturday, August 24 (Non-Televised) Main Event Mistfire Coven(M'BALI and CETRA, with HOODOO and TIKI)(Typhoon Pro) vs. Bemba's Royal Court(Esther Musambi and Renate Barlowe with King Bemba) To call this an epic struggle would be to understate things. Mistfire Coven's representatives utterly took the fight to their opponents. Where the Royal Court operated in long stretches, the Coven tagged rapidly, setting up many double team situations, including a dual Shining Wizard and Spear out of the corner. A jumping bomb and mandible claw from MBALI to the Pan African Champion could have won the match, were it not for Bemba's interference for his ladies. In the end, Renate Barlowe was able to catch CETRA with the Mercenary Lock heel hold, but it felt more like a lucky occurance than a definitive victory for the Royal Court. Ibrahim Rahman vs. George Marleau(Independent) The incredible momentum continued with this penultimate bout, with George Marleau aggressively outwrestling Rahman on the mat, taking the match to the Tunisian's preferred realm and dominating. In fact, Marleau did so to such effectiveness that Rahman was completely out of it for the first ten minutes. As the match progressed, Marleau started shifting into his customary power attack, and it was here that Rahman was able to start implementing his own gameplan in response, looking to slowly wear his foe down while he survived. And eventually, this strategy paid dividends, with Rahman catching Marleau in a quick rollup for an astonishing victory. Both men should be applauded for their fighting spirit in this one. King Bemba vs. Wesley Rakoto And if the first match was excellent, this match was unbelievable. King Bemba was obviously looking at this as a tune up bout for his multiple championship contests ahead. At first, it looked to be just that, but then Wesley Rakoto came alive, carrying his opponent to the middle of the ring, slamming him, and stealing the Royal Annihilation double powerbomb death valley bomb combo out of a deadlift! Bemba hit his own original version, and Rakoto kicked out, leading to the two firing back and forth until a Bemba sheer drop powerbomb ended it. Lady Jaguar(Independent) vs. Nefertiri One of the best matches on the tour so far, Nefertiri and Jaguar carried on at a breakneck pace, but with impressive technicality, too. Jaguar's kicks started giving her a distinct advantage as the match rolled along, but it was Nefertiri with a smart counter into a magistral cradle who came away the winner. --- Match of the Night: Four Way Tie -Yes, a copout, but all four matches were top notch in their own right, one of the best overall Office shows of all time. Sue me. Performer of the Night: Ibrahim Rahman -Going up against a dominant George Marleau, and surviving the early match where he was dismantled at his own comparative strength, and coming away with the victory netted Rahman the award. --- Following the Luanda, Angola house show, with the audience wildly cheering a night of superb wrestling, the victorious Renate Barlowe remained in the ring, soaking up the rare cheers, Pan African Championship in hand, wiping the mysterious green mist off her face with the other. King Bemba entered the ring, with a microphone. King Bemba: All hail the Royal Court! All hail King Bemba! And in a rare occurance indeed, the crowd echoed Bemba's statements with visible excitement. Barlowe, more exhausted and less enthusiastic, snatched the microphone. Renate Barlowe: All hail the Pan African Champion! ...Yeah, that sounded nice. Not used to being cheered like that. Feels funny. I'm not complaining. Not about being cheered, not about not being cheered. I've always done what it takes to survive. You know my motto; break legs, get paid. It isn't pretty. But it works for me. So, while I'm out here, and while the King's out here, I have a question. Might as well ask this in public, because I want a public answer. King Bemba, what exactly are your expectations for our match in Lagos? Bemba: I expect to win! And to leave as the undisputed Pan African Champion! Barlowe: You see, I ask that, out here, for a reason. Because I'm the Pan African Champion now. You know what this means for my business? I beat the #1, I win the belt, I get booked, I get paid...on my terms. And the way I see this right now, I want this match...on my terms. Bemba: I will tell you what this match is! This will be my coronation! As the Multiverse Champion! The Pan African Champion! The Emperor of Africa! The Conquerer of the Office! I am too busy to allow you to amuse yourself. You will fight me, and you will lose, and you will be paid well. That is all you care about! I am royalty! I have the cash you desire! Now you will give me the win that I need! Barlowe: And if you accidentally break your leg... Bemba: Then I will shatter your spine! You will do what you are paid to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Barlowe: I hear you. Bemba: Will you obey? Barlowe: I hear you. Bemba: Don't double cross me...or you will regret it! King Bemba threw down the microphone, staring down his subordinate, who, Pan African Championship belt over her shoulder, stared right back.

Results are up for Monday's house show from Johannesburg, South Africa, and be sure to tune in tomorrow with a special mid-week broadcast, as the Pan African Tour travels to Lagos, Nigeria, with the Mercenary in Exile, Renate Barlowe defending her Pan African Championship against the imposing King Bemba, and singles action with TIKI, HOODOO, Jemila Kali, Thunder Fist and many more in store! Stop Six will be broadcast following the conclusion of Warrior Pro on the Senatorial Streaming Service. RESULTS Stop Five: Johannesburg, South Africa (House Show) Monday, August 26 (Non-Televised) Main Event Shaka Corbin(Blackrose) vs. Simba Mufasa(AAW) Never tell Simba Mufasa that the size difference is too much. Even when it might actually be true. Shaka Corbin was on a mission here, and ran his smaller foe over like a rhino trampling a lion on the Serengetti, putting him down with a Hercules Cutter. And yet, there were brief moments in the match that suggested that Mufasa could have made it much more competitive on a better day. Lady Jaguar(Independent) vs. Esther Musambi An amazing match between two sharp kickers, with Musambi's power matching up well against Jaguar's explosive agility. This was a superb contest, both women showing top level skills and athleticism, but in the end, a ripcord backflip kick was enough to seal the deal for Jaguar. The Botswanan Bombers(Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan) and FENYANG) vs. Wesley Rakoto and Killer King Jones(Santana Family Wrestling) The teamwork of the Bombers was the deciding factor in this one, with FENYANG and Thunder Fist using their prior experience and Fist's extensive tag background to thwart a spirited challenge from Rakoto and Jones, Fist eventually dropping Jones with his trademark Bowel Evacuation solar plexus punch. Professor Mark Gizenga vs. Emmanuel Kirkland(AAW) Credit must be given to Emmaneul Kirkland, for taking a twenty five minute Professor Gizenga match, and making it a surprisingly watchable, well paced contest. Kirkland pushed the pace, trading submissions and continually engaging his opponent, with the two trading near falls for the last five minutes, but it was a jackknife pin by Gizenga that eventually netted the three. --- Match of the Night: Lady Jaguar vs. Esther Musambi -Easy call here, with these two keeping up a breakneck pace and going move for move the entire time. Performer of the Night: Professor Mark Gizenga -Either Lady Jaguar, Thunder Fist or Shaka Corbin could have won this if the award was available to outside talent, but as it is, Gizenga's gutsy, intelligent victory nets him his first ever award in the Office.

A momentous event was held in Lagos, Nigeria, with a new champion crowned, and some spectacular matches on the undercard! RESULTS Stop Six: Lagos, Nigeria (Televised) Wednesday, August 28 at 8:00 PM (CT) Main Event - Pan African Championship Renate Barlowe(C) vs. King Bemba This was the match everyone was waiting for. But the result certainly was not. Bemba not just steamrolled Barlowe, but obviously took pleasure in slamming her all around the ring in the process, before finishing with a splash to the back to gain his first ever Pan African Championship. Jemila Kali(OASIS) vs. Esi Dogboe A short, but sweet bout before the main event, with Kali and Dogboe going at 100 mph, both landing big moves before a flash rollup right before the eleven minute mark gained Dogboe the win. TIKI(Typhoon Pro) vs. Yetunde Oya Match of the night? Unquestionable. Match of the year? Certainly possible. TIKI and Oya already had a history, and this merely added to their shared legacy on the Tour, with both using every trick they had to wage a roller coaster of a fight against each other, inside and outside the ring, on the mat, on the ropes, anywhere they could fight. In the end, both survived multiple near falls and submissions, but Oya was able to earn a hard fought win with one more application of The Gates of No Return, her fish hook submission. HOODOO(Typhoon Pro) vs. Onika Santos One of the best matches of the night, as Santos and HOODOO matched wits and kicks in a fast paced affair. With HOODOO in control, a shocking moment took place with Onika Santos returning to the ring with a chair, hitting her foe and finishing her with a backflip kick. A surprisingly unsporting moment by the capoeira artist. Emmanuel Kirkland(AAW) vs. Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan) A long awaited bout, with Kirkland managing to keep up with the mighty Fist, but a big corner Stampede put him down. Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi vs. Ozuna Ofori-Atta(Independent) A match that could have and should have been more, but once again the Thiago Gracie BJJ training of Mehrmohammdi yielded another fast result via. Afro-Americana armlock. Jishikamiku(Independent) vs. Nefertiri A tremendous opener to the show, with Jishikamiku showing again that she is a force on the Tour. Nefertiri, unable to put her away with several Pyramid Drivers, eventually had to resort to the backslide of doom to walk away with the win. --- Match of the Night: TIKI vs. Yetunde Oya -Easy call, with these two tearing the roof off in a wonderously different sort of match, TIKI showed why she is a popular performer and Oya's win will be well-remembered. Performer of the Night: Esi Dogboe -By all means, this should have been King Bemba, but some of the post show footage ensured that his title victory should carry an asterisk --- Following the show, Renate Barlowe grabbed the microphone, starting a wild turn of events witnessed by the remanants of the Lagos crowd that stayed after Bemba's victory. Renate Barlowe: There, you have it. I did the job, now you pay me! Bemba hoisted the Pan African Championship and the PWR Multiverse Championship belts again before gesturing for a microphone of his own. Upon receiving it, he pulled a hefty envelope out of his robes and distdainfully tossed it to Barlowe. King Bemba: The agreed amount in there! Leave with the satisfaction that you were paid in full! The Mercenary in Exile scrunched up her nose as she regarded the sweat stains on the large, tan envelope, but opened it anyway, pulling out several packets of bills and quickly counting them. Barlowe: It's there. Payment recieved for services rendered. Enjoy that title...while you can. Bemba: What does that mean? Explain yourself! Barlowe: What I mean is that while going back on a deal is usually bad for one's self-preservation, the deal is now over. And I think that title did a lot of good for my business. Bemba: Is that a challenge? You are a mercenary, what need to you have of a title? You won the belt, that is enough! Now it is my time to reign! Not the time for a dirty mercenary who cannot even return to her homeland! Barlowe: I've been paid for some unspeakable things in my life. I'm not proud of some of the jobs I've accepted, or whom I've accepted them from. But that was in another lifetime. I'll not apologize for anything I've done in pro wrestling. Barlowe: But having that belt...that was different. I still have to look over my shoulder anywhere I go. I still have to clear every room I enter. Wages of life lived in conflict. But for the first time, holding that belt, first time in my entire life, I realized that there's new chances to be found, even for someone like me. And I want that. So yes, that's a challenge. Forget everything. I want a real match against you, in Cairo, for that belt. It's yours for now...and it'll be yours going forward, if you can defend it. But this time, no handcuffs, no envelopes. You're getting a real challenge. Bemba: Challenge accepted! I do not need to pay you to defeat you! But a King must defend his throne, and I must leave, immediately, to the PWR, where my next challeger awaits. It will be most pleasurable to crush this Axl Evermore...and then to destroy your impudence in Cairo!

A good, fast show from Algers, Algeria took place as the penultimate showing for the 2019 Pan African Tour, and the card for the final stop on the tour has been drastically rearranged, with the biggest change being a Pan African Championship rematch between Renate Barlowe and King Bemba. RESULTS Stop Seven: Algers, Algeria (House Show) Thusday, August 29 (Non-Televised) Main Event Jean-Pierre Mutombo vs. Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan) A hard hitting slugfest that lived up to the expectations for a match between two of the most popular men on the tour. Mutombo was in his usual high energy form, but Thunder Fist matched him every step of the way, and eventually pulled off a win with the Botswanan Rainmaker. Bad Blood, Part 2 Yetunde Oya vs. Renate Barlowe An awesome match, these two are each other's worst matchup on any day, and once again, they waged a brutal battle, with Oya stabbing Barlowe's forehead open, and almost gained a submission with The Gates of No Return, but Barlowe remained focused, hobbling her foe, and landing a running cross legbreaker for the win. Ibrahim Rahman vs. Ozuna Ofori-Atta(Independent) Utter destruction. Ofori-Atta completely eviscerated Ibrahim Rahman, landing flashy kicks and powerbombs at will until a running knee mercifully ended this short of ten minutes. A massively impressive showing by Ofori-Atta. Onika Santos vs. Jemila Kali(OASIS) Just about everything one could hope for in an opening bout, with Santos and Kali trading kicks at high velocity, but the OASIS star was just a step ahead, stealing signature combinations from Santos, landing her G2S and a running headscissors twist pin would get the three count. --- Match of the Night: Renate Barlowe vs. Yetunde Oya -This one was personal, with a longstanding distaste between the two, and it showed, Oya and Barlowe bringing the pain both ways. Performer of the Night: Renate Barlowe -A double award for Barlowe, gutting through a bad laceration and Yetunde Oya's excruciating submissions to gain the win. An honorable mention should be made for Ozuna Ofori-Atta for his complete demolition of a formidable foe in Ibrahim Rahman, but Office awards only officially go to roster members. --- A full preview for the eighth and final stop of the tour, with every member of the tour represented in a match for a star studded showing in Cairo on the Senatorial Streaming Service! Pan African Tour - Stop Eight: Cairo, Egypt Friday, August 30 at 8:00 PM (CT) Main Event - Bemba vs. Barlowe II, "This Time It's Real" - Pan African Championship Bout King Bemba(C) vs. Renate BarloweWith the controvercial bribery scandal tarring their first meeting, Barlowe and Bemba meet once again to contest the Pan African Championship. Once again, only a one-title man, Bemba looks to repeat his performance, without the arrogantly blatant payoff for Barlowe to throw the match. The Egyptian Dynasty vs. Team Mutombo Mohammad Ramses, Nefertiri, Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) vs. Jean-Pierre Mutombo, Senator Steve Phillips, and Ali Ahmed MehrmohammdiSenator Steve Phillips makes a rare in-ring appearance in this one, joining with a dream team of #1 Ranked Mutombo and the Pan African Ambassador, Mehrmohammdi against the dynamic Egyptian team of Ramses, Nefertiri and Al-Amin. The Rematch Shaka Corbin(Blackrose) vs. FENYANGOne of the best house show matches on the tour now will see a televised rematch. FENYANG defeated Shaka Corbin in a tough matchup in Nairobi, Kenya on the second stop of the tour, but the South African hunter now looks to add one of FENYANG's trademark Heavy Metal jackets to his trophy wall. Mistfire Coven(TIKI, MBALI, CETRA and HOODOO)(Typhoon Pro) vs. Esther Musambi, Psycho Witch(ZIP Japan), Kairi Practer(OASIS) and Jemila Kali(OASIS)The full assembly of the Mistfire Coven roster for the Pan African Tour is finally together, taking on a ragtag team of several OASIS standouts, Esther Musambi of the Bemba Royal Court and ZIP Japan's Psycho Witch. Anyone expecting an orderly affair here can look elsewhere. Total War Deathmatch SCORCHED EARTH Mzilikaze(IWE) vs. Killer King Jones(Santana Family Wrestling)Originally set to face Bemba, Mzilikaze instead goes up against the PEWA and SFW veteran, Jones in what will likely be a bloody bout encased in barbed wire. Pan African Showcase Storm of the Century(Thunder Fist and Wataru Nakajima)(ZIP Japan) and George Marleau(Independent) vs. Ibrahim Rahman, Wesley Rakoto and Professor Mark GizengaThe Storm of the Century again show up, with George Marleau, giving a terrifyingly powerful challenge to the Pan African main roster team of Rahman, Rakoto and Gizenga, who will have to rely on their skill and speed to keep up in this one. Over the Top Royale Simba Mufasa(AAW) vs. Yetunde Oya vs. Ozuna Ofori-Atta(Independent) vs. Jishikamiku(Independent) vs. Lady Jaguar(Independent) vs. Emmanuel Kirkland(AAW) vs. Onika Santos vs. AFUME(The Galastream)Eight diverse competitors, one will remain. Need I say more?

Man I cant tell you how disappointed I am that Thunder Fist vs JPM didnt make it on one of the live events. That one seemed like a really fun one- and the finale should be an epic conclusion to the tour. Lets see how Bemba fairs when Barlowe isnt pulling punches...

An extra thanks to everyone who followed the Tour, contributed edits and helped this become an immensely enjoyable event for the second year in a row! Some big results for the final event on the Tour, and do read the end here, as the landscape of the Office has shifted a bit now. RESULTS Pan African Tour - Stop Eight: Cairo, Egypt (Televised) Friday, August 30 at 8:00 PM (CT) Main Event - Pan African Championship Bout King Bemba(C) vs. Renate Barlowe This was supposed to be the redemption of Renate Barlowe. It instead served as the return to King Bemba's dominant form. If anything, he crushed Barlowe faster than he did when he paid her off to take a dive. An absolute show of force by the Pan African Champion, finishing Barlowe off with a big splash shortly after hitting the Royal Annihilation double powerbomb death valley bomb. The Egyptian Dynasty vs. Team Mutombo Mohammad Ramses, Nefertiri, Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) vs. Jean-Pierre Mutombo, Senator Steve Phillips, and Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi All six competitors showed up well enough for this one, but a fairly fast paced, if uneventful contest ended with a startling finish as Layla Al-Amin drove Senator Steve Phillips into the mat with a viciously fast sunset flip bomb to earn the Egyptian Dynasty a massive win. The Rematch Shaka Corbin(Blackrose) vs. FENYANG This was even better than the original house show bout, with Corbin's explosive power constantly keeping the Botswanan on his back heel, near fall after near fall seemingly taking Corbin closer and closer to victory. FENYANG, in a last ditch effort, hit a diving enzuigiri that earned him one of the most unexpected victories in recent memory. Mistfire Coven(TIKI, MBALI, CETRA and HOODOO)(Typhoon Pro) vs. Esther Musambi, Jishikamiku(Independent), Kairi Practer(OASIS) and Psycho Witch(ZIP Japan) With the full Mistfire Coven in force, it was exceedingly tough for the combined forces opposing them to combat their unique antics. However, Jishikamiku managed to thrive amongst the melee, hitting a spear on HOODOO during a maelstrom and pinning her while the others battled. SCORCHED EARTH Mzilikaze(IWE) vs. Killer King Jones Killer King Jones was once one of the most feared names on the deathmatch circuit. His showing against Mzilikaze showed touches of his old form, but the latter half of the match showed his age, as Jones gassed out, and gassed out badly. He yet was able to counter, between attempts to catch his breath, but Scorched Earth eventually finished out with a massive chokebomb. Pan African Showcase Storm of the Century(Thunder Fist and Wataru Nakajima)(ZIP Japan) and George Marleau(Independent) vs. Ibrahim Rahman, Wesley Rakoto and Professor Mark Gizenga The Storm had excellent teamwork in this bout, and Marleau added extra dimensions to their attack, but in the end, Professor Gizenga was able to counter him on the mat and lock in a surprise facelock for a comeback underdog victory. Over the Top Royale Simba Mufasa(AAW) vs. Yetunde Oya vs. Ozuna Ofori-Atta(Independent) vs. Jemila Kali(OASIS) vs. Lady Jaguar(Independent) vs. Emmanuel Kirkland(AAW) vs. Onika Santos vs. AFUME(The Galastream) Simba Mufasa showed heart, courage and skill in outlasting seven other top opponents, in a match that came down to him, AFUME and Lady Jaguar, with Mufasa taking AFUME out with a flying armbar and pinning Jaguar shortly afterwards. --- Match of the Night: Shaka Corbin vs. FENYANG -A no brainer of a call, the best match of the night, one of the best of the tour. Corbin may have lost, but looked like a force, while FENYANG showed an unreal display of guts and defiance in his ability to hold on. Performer of the Night: King Bemba -He didn't receive this when he won the title. But defending it, in such a powerful manner, was enough to give the Ugandan the award. Match of the Tour: Brayden Sutton vs. King Bemba (From Stop One: Antananarivo, Madagascar, 8-16-19) -An easy match of the year candidate that ended up being the standout bout from the entire Tour. Sutton and Bemba traded their best shots and each demonstrated why they are two of the best in the business today. Performer of the Tour: King Bemba -This is not a tough one to discern. Bemba not only dominated the Tour and emerged as Pan African Champion, but also kept insanely busy outside the Office, sometimes taking on top opponents the same night as one of his Tour matches. Utterly incredible run. --- Injury Report Senator Steve Phillips: Whiplash (One month medical suspension) -Following his defeat following a sunset flip bomb courtesy of Layla Al-Amin, Philips was evaluated and diagnosed with a severe case of whiplash, a welcome diagnosis considering the nature of his defeat. --- Following the show, King Bemba remained in the ring with the Pan African Championship. While Renate Barlowe stumbled to the back, the mysterious Yetunde Oya passed her going to the ring, a brush of shoulders staggering the Mercenary in Exile. Oya arrived in the ring with a translator and a microphone, addressing the champion. Yetunde Oya: (Translated from Yoruba) <The Mercenary has now left your presence and your Court. There is an absence that must be filled. There is a void that will become malignant if not addressed. You need a replacement.> King Bemba: What are you speaking of, Priestess? Speak words that make sense! Oya: <Foolish one, I wish to join your Royal Court. A great destiny awaits you, but without those who support you, it becomes less, and less certain.> Bemba: My Court is only made of those who will follow my commands without question! Barlowe refused, and she has been expunged! You are no subordinate! You do not belong on my Court! Oya: <Consider me...your Royal Adviser. This is what I am and will be. And it is what you need.> Bemba: Do I have no choice in this matter? Oya: <No...you do not! But to demonstrate my value, let me simply say that you are about to receive a deserved accolade, one that you did not even contemplate for yourself on this night.> Bemba: Did you find that on a fortune cookie? Enough! It is time for the King to reign! And this King stands alone on the top of the mountain tonight! King Bemba hoists his title once again, turning to face all four corners of the crowd. As he finishes his display, referee Raymond Allen Fleming walks into the ring, a notecard in one hand, a microphone in the other. Raymond Allen Fleming: Congratulations. You did well. Before you say anything, I am here to deliver a message. This is an announcement Senator Phillips would have delivered himself, but he is currently occupied conversing with the physios. In his stead, I will make this announcement. "Due to your recent run, in and outside the Office, and due to your legitimate victory over the woman who defeated Jean-Pierre Mutombo, and due to your dual title victories in the last month, you, King Bemba, will, absent any extraordinary events, be considered the Number One Ranked performer in the Senatorial Office for the next Office Rankings, and that, sir, is nothing but the truth." Bemba seemed to zone out for a moment, and even cast a befuddled look to Yetunde Oya, who only smirked and nodded. Bemba then raised up his title and spoke once more to the crowd. Bemba: All hail King Bemba! All hail the Pan African Champion! All hail the Number One! The reign of Bemba is now!

One of the biggest events in Senatorial Office history will take place later this month, with the stars of Phoenix Rising heading over for a crossover to end all crossovers in a two night event.
Lariats and Legislators #9: Phoenix Rising vs. Senatorial Office - Night One Thursday, September 19 at 8:00 PM (CT) at the Pavilion Entertainment Center in Washington D.C.
Showdown Champs vs. Proving Ground Champs Rising Storm(Anahera and Xiu Li Mei) vs. The Limbtakers(Ruthless Nicole Alger and Candace Monroe) The main event of the first night of Lariats #9 may only contain one single Office member, but it is no less relevant, as this match pits Phoenix Rising's legendary tag team, and current Showdown tag champs, Rising Storm up against the Proving Ground tag champs, the Limbtakers.
Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Rumika Hashi Two of the most well rounded stars of their respective shows, with Queen Anne holding the Pacific Northwest title as a result and Rumika Hashi operating in the upper echelon of Lightning Pro.
Kyle Anderson vs. The Everyman Two of the hardest workers in the game, with "Five Star" Kyle Anderson known for always getting an exceptional performance out of his opponent. The Everyman is the living personification of the working class meat and potatoes card punching union lifestyle, and it can be assured these two will put in a shift.
Andrea "Fire" Hawke vs. ??? It's not often that we see Andrea Hawke in action, but it was noted that the Office requested her specifically for this bout, and that when she was informed of her potential opponent, that Hawke signed the contract without even reading it.
UCSS Rules Leona Sterling vs. Ong Daengsri Leona Sterling has been one of the most promising Blackwood Academy upstarts over the last year, holding the Academy Championship and keeping a positive record. Ong Daengsri may well be a step up for her, the Thai fighter mixing Muay Thai with a Thiago Gracie trained ground game.
---
Lariats and Legislators #9: Phoenix Rising vs. Senatorial Office - Night Two Friday, September 20 at 8:00 PM (CT) at the Pavilion Entertainment Center in Washington D.C.
The Settlement Urani Whitemist vs. Crusher Honda Back in June, Urani and Honda met in Sakura Pro, a match that resulted in a severe injury to the Murder Train. Now that Honda is officially back, her vendetta against Miss Whitemist is renewed as she looks to pay her back for damage done. A win for Urani would absolutely raise her stock and place all of Phoenix Rising on notice, as well as the wrestling world in general.
Firehawk Sentarl vs. Senator Steve Phillips The two figureheads meet in the co-main event, with Firehawk on one of the best runs of his career as of late, while Senator Phillips is recovering from a bad case of whiplash inflicted by Layla Al-Amin. Still, the Office Chairman cannot be underestimated, and will surely be in form for what will be one of the most anticipated bouts of the year.
The Rematch Kantar vs. King Bemba (with Yetunde Oya) This match was a MotY candidate when it first happened in Evergreen. While Bemba inflicted absolute carnage, it was Kantar who stood tall afterwards. Now, these two meet again, and no force on Earth will prevent them from continuing their conflict.
War for the West The Marshall Family(Lance Marshall and Cassandra Marshall) vs. Cogburn Ranch(Cowboy Johnston and Hailey Comet) These two teams may be on friendly terms, but make no mistake; they will not take it easy in this match. The Marshalls have shown themselves dominant as of late in singles action, but with the upcoming marriage of Johnston and Comet in November, they may well be especially motivated for this one.
Blake Dynamite vs. El Froggy Mask Two enormously popular, explosive stars will meet in this match, neither needing much of an introduction. Dynamite's stellar agility will only be matched by the Santana Family Wrestling icon's own. A pick'em if there ever was one.
Shiana Sentarl vs. Yuriko Masamune Both the Senatorial Office and Phoenix Rising are home to exceptional veterans who have managed to evolve rather than fade. Shiana Sentarl has reportedly been working relentlessly to once again overhaul her career, while Yuriko Masamune, the head trainer of the L-Pro dojo, has persistently added aspects to her own style along the way.
Preliminary Main Event Todd Colton vs. G.P. Christopher The Proving Ground Top Prospect and the King of the Openers may not share much in common at first glance, but the two are conjoined by a mutual ego the size of the Pacific Ocean. That, and extraordinary skillsets that have allowed their egos to flourish.

Celebrating the start of the Chicago Bears season in the NFL, Wacker Drive Revival returns to action with a #1 contender royale, a hard hitting match between Freight Train and Gorilla Power and the debut of Blue Destiny in WDR! Wacker Drive Revival: Bear DownFriday, September 6 at 8:00 PM (CT) at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL The Loop Contendership Over the Top Royale Mr. Moonsault vs. Big Robert Montgomery vs. Valerie May vs. Lila Gila vs. Frank Van Sloan vs. DUDE SmithWith six factions represented, one individual will remain in the ring to earn a shot at the Internationale's hold on The Loop. While Mr. Moonsault should be the favorite here, one can't count out the simple minded determination of DUDE Smith, the Uberkick of Frank Van Sloan, the tricky style of Lila Gila, Valerie May's all around quality or the experience of the big boss himself, Robert Montgomery. Da Bear vs. Da Gorilla Freight Train McMichaelson vs. Gorilla PowerTwo big powerhouses meet up here with the Freight Train either celebrating the Bears' victory over the Packers, or looking to take out an intense rage. Gorilla Power, however, might be too strong to fall here, having won a match in the not too distant past against current Pan African Champion and Office #1 Ranked King Bemba. Super Komodo vs. X-Treme KidThese two have met before, with XTK wiping the mat with the Komodo, but without The Loop on the line, the results here could well be different. Super Komodo's ways are tough to predict in any case, and could end up shocking the Chicago crowd here. Blue Destiny Is Now! Blue Destiny(Jin Matsuda, Maki Yoshida and Yumi Yamaguchi)(ZIP Japan) vs. The Action Pack(Ross Malone, Dutch Schwartz and Elle Barrett)This was rumored months ago, and finally, Blue Destiny arrives in Wacker Drive Revival! The decorated team looks to take on the veteran team from the Action Pack, pitting their strong style approach to the punches of Malone, the power of Schwartz and the technicality of Barrett. Jin Matsuda, a former ZIP Heavyweight Champion, will lead his own team to battle, with the hard head of Maki Yoshida and the fighting spirit of Yumi Yamaguchi presenting a potential road to The Loop. Fred the Red vs. Daunte ThomasLiverpool's own, Fred the Red knows that supporters of the club will never walk alone. But the D-Man, Daunte Thomas has expressed wishes that Fred Bakewell would talk alone, exasperated with Fred's endless boosterism for his beloved football club. As such, Thomas will get a chance to forcefully shut his mouth, in the ring. Astro Traveler vs. Phil MercuryA match worthy of George Paul Christopher's "Preliminary Main Event" moniker? Perhaps, but there is no doubt that the meeting of Astro Traveler and Phil Mercury will yield positive results for all fans of fast paced competition. Traveler's cosmic styling and the Superstar Showman's agile attack should combine for a show stealing match.

Here's to hoping that the offense on this show is hella more exciting than the self-destructed one DA BEARS have displayed so far.

Wacker Drive Revival tonight, with a #1 contender royale , an angry Freight Train(who might be seeing Mitch Trubisky when he looks at Gorilla Power) and the debut of Blue Destiny in WDR! Catch the action on the Senatorial Streaming Service at 8:00 PM (CT) at www.twitch.tv/senatorphillips(I might have to push things back an hour or so, but I'll not know that until later, so the time stays for now) WORLD WRESTLING DAILY DIGEST PREMIUM INSIDER VAULTSome Fast Words with Big Bosses By "Fast" Eddie Edison No, your eyes are not deceiving you. If you're looking at this and wondering how you're seeing a Premium Insider article without paying the cheap price of $3.99, it's because we're giving this one out for free! But seriously, all you have to do is skip buying fast food for one meal, and you'll get a whole month of Insider information, and you'll be healthier to boot! So, cutting to the chase, over the last month, I've spoken with a number of head honchos from around the Senatorial Office, and I think you might be interested in hearing some of what they had to say: --- *Big Robert Montgomery - Wacker Drive Revival Big Robert was on my podcast recently, talking about a new blues album he's putting out. He also had something interesting he said about the future of WDR. Big Robert Montgomery: So yeah, sonny, we've got big things coming, sooner than later. Stuff you know about, and stuff you don't. Those kids from ZIP Japan are gonna be game changers, flat out. Eddie Edison: I can't disagree on that, they're tough and ZIP wrestlers are always top of the line in their training. Montgomery: But what you don't know, is that I just had the biggest signing in the history of Wacker Drive walk into my club and tells me that we're making this happen. What do I say? I say "sign on the dotted line!" But you'll know when you know, this is a big time deal. Someone who has some star power, but not from wrestling. First time gig. Eddie: Now you have my interest. You can't just leave me, and the fans hanging like this. Can you give us anything more? Montgomery: You know, I will. This new signing's making a debut at that next Lariats event, taking on that girl Hawke. Not gonna say more than that, no matter what fancy tricks you try. --- *Biff Taylor - PEWA Eddie Edison: So, you're saying the last show of the year for you is going to be the 20th Anniversary event? Biff Taylor: Yeah, that's the plan, man. You know, the PEWA didn't start in December, but we've sorta pushed this thing back this year, 'cause I figured Jack Fury wanted a big deal if he's really callin' it quits. Eddie: Do you think that's going to happen? Biff: I dunno, maybe if he doesn't win at Horror of Hardcore, but I'll make this official, that one's his last shot at the gold if he doesn't do it there, he's not holdin' it up for anyone else. Besides, ain't fair to Downtown to only have matches against Fury for that Extreme belt. Eddie: Any details on the Anniversary show? Biff: Yeah, been callin' up lots of old dudes and dudettes who were around back in the day, got Skurai the Hardcore Ninja, tryin' to get Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint if I can get him when he's not doing another one of those shoot interview things, and believe it or not, the Cruisers are gonna reunite! That's if none of us have a heart attack first! Or Khan gets arrested! Eddie: Woah, woah, I know I don't ever tell people to slow down, but I don't think the fans know anyone you just mentioned. Can you tell us a bit more about who these guys are? Biff: Yeah, Skurai was a crazy dude from Sacramento who started his own ninja clan. Was a big deal back in our first few years. He's still wrestlin' but he's a family man now, doesn't leave the SoCal scene much. Be cool to see him again. Then you got Sylvain Mint, arrogant ass, old school dude who had a billion gimmicks, wrestled everywhere, wrestled in the PEWA for a bit when we started. And the Cruisers, there were four Cruisers way back when. Cruiser Conrad, Crusier Jacobs, Crazy Cruiser Khan, and Cruiser Taylor. Eddie: Let me guess, you were Cruiser Taylor. Biff: Nailed it on the head. We were the Four Horsemen of the Highway. Khan was our leader, taught me motorcycles and wrestlin' and how to get into trouble, and how to get out of it, sometimes. Conrad and Jacobs are running a fed in the Dakotas, doin' well with that. Khan's too damn old, but he'd put the boots to someone in the nursing home if you kept him away from the ring, so the ol' boys are back together for one more ride, I think. Eddie: You think? Biff: Yeah, dunno if they all make it in, or if I wanna deal with the headache Khan will bring, but hey, one more for old time's sake. Eddie: You already have a lot of Originals around on the roster, think it might be time to start looking to the future at some point? Biff: Hey, we old folks will keep doing this as long as we're gettin' the fans to show up for it. And if we can pay the medical bills...but hey, we got the future going right now, Downtown Lucy's the champ, we got fresh young talent like X-KIRA and Beatriz signed lately, Masked Maniac IV is a good kid... Eddie: And you're skipping over the name of Young Blood, obviously. Biff: Look, Fast Man, Young Blood shouldn't wrestle again, if I'm honest. But if he gets healed up good enough, he's gotta earn a spot. He ain't my future, not if I got anything to say about it! --- *Felix Santana Sr. - Santana Family Wrestling Felix Santana Senior: Yes, that is true. We have no, how do I say this, direction. Because our title is hostage. Rudo EX is ruining every show. People hate them, they always win. Eddie: El Experto didn't end up the way you hoped, but that's a slight understatement. Felix Senior: I know he is snake in the grass. Always ready to bite the hand of those who help him. But what he does now is not forgivable. I will teach him lesson. Eddie: But as long as Colossus Rhodes is in his camp, and holds your Dominican Golden Championship, that's going to be tough, isn't it? Felix Senior: I will tell you what I will do. Colossus Rhodes is too strong for one man. But he will not face one. He will face many. In gauntlet royale, he fights all the top names, one night. Eddie: That makes sense. But what if he wins? Felix Senior: Then I think that is end for Santana Family Wrestling. Eddie: What? Are you serious? You're going to close the doors? Felix Senior: I don't know, but I cannot keep dealing with this! Something needs changing, now! --- *Walt Callahan - TIPWF Eddie: So, let me get this correct. Cowboy Johnston and Hailey Comet are going to get married in a few months. But they're going to wrestle a match, on their wedding night, before their marriage? Walt Callahan: It's damn stupid. But it's what they asked for. So they're getting it. Eddie: You don't seem like the sort to just go along with things like this. Callahan: Fans seem to want to see it. The locker room, they want to see it too. So sometimes, I have to bite the bullet. Wrestling's a weird sport to manage. Always have to keep that in mind. Eddie: On another subject, your champ, Lil' Lariato is looking to take a shot at Doc Wyatt in Warrior Pro. He already beat him for the belt in the TIPWF, will they even let him try to do it again over there? Callahan: That's between them and Lariato. Personally, I hope it happens. Lariato's got all the potential in the world. And I'd selfishly like to see him show some of that taking some more belts home. --- *Dangerous Nicholas Alger - UCSS Dangerous Nicholas Alger: Now, I'm real proud of my little girl and Candace is like another daughter. They go out there and win those belts, it's great. More than I've done. Eddie: Any veiled jealousy there? DNA: Nah, I'm good. Seeing them win is my success. Just like seeing UCSS succeed is, too. Eddie: Your old friend Thiago is taking his good time getting back to the ring. DNA: Hey, he took that loss to Gang Wong real hard. Tough to understand if you don't know him well. But he doesn't see losing just as him losing. He sees it as a loss for Jiu Jitsu, the Gracie family. And like, his whole life of training, he loses like that, it puts him in a bad place. Eddie: So he's ready now? DNA: Yeah, think I'll throw him back at Gang Wong right away. Not fair to everyone else. But he was champ too long to ignore that. Eddie: Any other plans coming soon? DNA: Thinking about running a grand prix. One night tournament. Winner of Wong-Gracie II defends in it. Eddie: That's a tough one for the champ, why not make it a #1 contender deal? DNA: I'm old school. It's how they did it in Pride, K-1. Prove greatness in one night, if you're proven greatness, become a legend. --- *Dean Bardo - Lightning Pro Dean Bardo: Now, they have a nickname for me in the board room. They call me the "Gaijin Wrangler." But the worst part is that they take it seriously. Who the hell wants to track down Sam Hall when he's on one of his sake binges? Eddie: That sounds rough. Bardo: Tell me about it. GPC is like some sort of god to the women over here. You want to know why he got so arrogant? Check out the line of women who wait for him after a show. It's insane. Eddie: Is it too late for me to become a wrestler? But seriously, you have some big returns here and some big debuts. Bardo: Yes. Crusher Honda and Nishimura Endo being out was not good for our bottom line, to be straight forward. Attendance numbers were down on the last tour. They're both back. Then you have Rei Hasegawa. After far too long, I hear she finally turned a corner in the Blackwood Academy. Might be a big boost to have her show up at some point. Eddie: She's popular for a rookie, isn't she? Bardo: I don't know how well this comes across in the States, but Rei has some dedicated fans over here who buy into her and follow everything she does. Don't get me wrong, she's every bit as stuck up, stubborn and arrogant as she comes across, but that's just one side of her. She's also very interactive with her fans on social media, is extremely generous with fans in person when the cameras aren't rolling. And then you have Naoka Takemura, who is a strange piece of work, but she'll be a good addition tot the roster. Eddie: Isn't she the one who thinks she's a legit star? Bardo: Yeah, think she watched too many juvenile fulfillment fantasy shows over here, and got some big ideas in her head. Pretty skilled grappler who can hit hard for her size, though. Might also look out for Rumika Hashi, as far as that goes. She's going to make a serious run at the title. GPC gets the first dibs at the Dragon, but I think Hashi might actually have more of a legit shot, no matter how slight of a chance that might still be.

RESULTS Wacker Drive Revival: Bear Down Friday, September 6 at 8:00 PM (CT) at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL The Loop Contendership Over the Top Royale Mr. Moonsault vs. Big Robert Montgomery vs. Valerie May vs. Lila Gila vs. Frank Van Sloan vs. DUDE Smith vs. Rebecca Andrews(Evergreen Wrestling) A surprise addition of Evergreen's Chicago native, Rebecca Andrews was a contributor to this match, eliminating DUDE Smith before falling to a Valerie May powerbomb. Mr. Moonsault was surprisingly eliminated early, and eventually the match came down to a three way struggle between the Uberkicker, Frank Van Sloan, the boss himself, Big Robert Montgomery and May. In the end, however, May was able to hit a sunset flip counter off the top to pin the legendary bluesman to gain the win, and give Three Lions the #1 contender's spot against the Internationale for The Loop. Da Bear vs. Da Gorilla Freight Train McMichaelson vs. Gorilla Power By far the best match of the night, and likely the best Wacker Drive match of the year. Freight Train was out for blood following the embarrasing loss of his Chicago Bears, but Gorilla Power was no less up for the action, throwing many of his biggest moves out before the ten minute mark, or even the five minute mark. McMichaelson dug deep as the match went on, hitting several Freight Train Tackles, kicking out of a stolen Midway Mash triple powerbomb and eventually hitting two top rope diving shoulders to win an outstanding match. Super Komodo vs. X-Treme Kid The fall of the XTK continued in this bout, with the veteran backyarder coming up short against Super Komodo, pinned after a Komodo Crusher high angle DDT. Blue Destiny Is Now! Blue Destiny(Jin Matsuda, Maki Yoshida and Yumi Yamaguchi)(ZIP Japan) vs. The Action Pack(Ross Malone, Dutch Schwartz and Elle Barrett) The carnage continued in this match, with Blue Destiny putting on a good match with the Action Pack, but it was Elle Barrett who came away looking the strongest, putting Yumi Yamaguchi out with the Barrett 50 Cal./Gori Crusher. Fred the Red vs. Daunte Thomas As fast and technical as the first match was, this was just a good ol' fashioned slugfest. While the D-Man got his shots in, it was Fred the Red who came out ahead with a vicious series of clinch knees to the body, crumpling his foe for a KO. Astro Traveler vs. Phil Mercury This match was what we thought it was. Mercury and Traveler went toe to toe at high speed, trading their best shots, with Mercury stealing Traveler's Interstellar Drop, but it was the Cosmic Jazzman who came out ahead, catching Mercury with a rollup. --- Match of the Night: Freight Train vs. Gorilla Power -This was a very easy choice. One of the best matches anywhere in recent memory, both hosses throwing big bombs from the start and an inspiring late match rally from the Freight Train who demonstrated that broken down as he is, he cannot be underestimated. Performer of the Night: Valerie May -Winning the battle royale and setting up Three Lions for a shot at The Loop was well enough to earn this award, with May perhaps finally living up to her potential after all this time. --- Injury Report Daunte Thomas: Knee to Liver (One week medical suspension) -In the course of his bout with Fred the Red, the D-Man was dropped by a knee to the liver, and was down for the count. The good news is that he did not suffer any long term injury and will be back in action as soon as possible, with a short one week break suggested. Yumi Yamaguchi: Slight Concussion and Whiplash (One month medical suspension) -Elle Barrett's Barrett 50 Cal. Gori Crusher knocked Yamaguchi out, and while she responded well afterwards, the doctors suggested a mandatory one month suspension within the Office. Yamaguchi will still be free to pursue outside bookings, however, as she is not primarily contracted to the Office.

Lightning Pro returns to action with a tour opening event in Kyoto, bringing back Crusher Honda, Nishimura Endo and Rei Hasegawa, and featuring top notch talent including the reigning ZIP Heavyweight champion, Daisuke Shimura and the man known only as Cody! Lightning Pro: Homecoming Tour (9-13-19)8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, September 13, at the Kyoto Central Gymnasium in Kyoto, Japan Main Event The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto) vs. The Muscle Machines(Gary Gear and Adonis Avery Alexander)The return of Crusher Honda to action in the Senatorial Office will begin in tag action, with longtime tag partner Wrecker Yamamoto welcoming her back to take on the Muscle Machines. To say that Alexander and Gear have been dysfunctional in recent weeks is to understate things. The two have (roid) raged and quarreled, but will need to be back on one page for this one, lest the Duo bring the Murder Train to bear. ALEXANDER vs. Daisuke Shimura(ZIP Japan)ZIP Japan's reigning Heavyweight champion as the company went into stasis, Daisuke Shimura is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the world and a challenge for even the best. And it is this challenge that ALEXANDER seeks, looking to make a run at the Victorious Medal an inevitability with a potential victory. The Return of Endo Masa Tokugawa vs. Nishimura EndoAfter being put on the shelf for months by the Black Dragon's infamous reverse chokeslam, Nishimura Endo defied the odds and the pundits and will return to action. His first match back is no soft touch, as the Apocalyptic Warrior, Masa Tokugawa will be certain to take his best shot at bringing about the end for Endo's career with his face breaking Apocalypse Knee. The Debut of Takemura Naoka Takemura vs. Ayako MiyamotoNew signing to L-Pro, Naoka Takemura has gained some notoriety in the independents with her over the top "Star of the Show" persona mixed with a tortuous, disdainful style in the ring. Takemura will be tested from the start, with a match against the student of the German Suplex, Ayako Miyamoto. Welcome Back, Rei Hasegawa Rei Hasegawa, Keiko Maeda(Phoenix Rising), Yuki Okamura and Saburo Aoki Jr. vs. Super Grey Machine, Yuriko Masamune, Kosuke Arai and Koji SawadaRei Hasegawa has never been described as an ideal student in her Blackwood Academy run, but reports of a recent turnaround in her approach was enough for L-Pro Dojo boss Yuriko Masamune and Chairman Shima Ito (who is not the Super Grey Machine!!) to finally allow her to return to Lightning Pro on a limited basis. Hasegawa has credited much of her progress on her team with fellow Academy student Keiko Maeda, who will join her along with Rei's Sparks to take on a sturdy team of the Machine, Masamune, Choppu Arai and Dojo standout Koji Sawada. Preliminary Main Event G.P. Christopher vs. Cody(Independent)The mysterious man of the independents who only goes by the name of Cody, just Cody, will have a chance to show his quality against the King of the Openers. GPC, having secured a Victorious Medal bout against the Black Dragon by the end of the current Homecoming Tour, may be looking to the future, but certainly will be wanting to use this match to make a statement of intent.

Exclusive Interview with Popstar Singer Miss Bauhaus By Maxwell McNally As the headline states and as you will most certainly find out by reading ahead, this interview is not the typical fare that the World Wrestling Daily Digest fans are used to. No, this time around, I had the absolute honor of speaking with one of the biggest pop sensations of the last decade, the enigmatic Miss Bauhaus. --- Maxwell McNally: I have a very special interview to present to you today, and a very different guest than my usual fellow conversationalists from within the world of wrestling. I'm here at a private room at the Wacker Drive Revival club in Chicago, with Antonina Isabella Maldini, better known to the world as the pop sensation, Miss Bauhaus. Before we start speaking, I just want to thank you for choosing to hold this interview with me, Miss Maldini. Miss Bauhaus: Just call me Nina, or Bauhaus, or whatever suits your fancy. Maxwell: Very well then, Nina, I'll open up with the most obvious question. What exactly brings you here to Chicago? Miss Bauhaus: I am here because it was where I was meant to be in this phase of my existence. Maxwell: Forgive this old man a moment, but I would very much appreciate it if you could restate that in a way I could better understand. Bauhaus: Those who are cosmically aligned can join on the same pathway. As I shifted from the stardom of Pop to the possiblities of Jazz, I met the being known as the Astro Traveler. He and I each play keyboards, but the way that he plays the keys unlocks a vision into a deeper knowledge, one that transcends space and time. Hearing this, I wanted to know more of what he was about. Maxwell: And that was when you decided to look into professional wrestling? Bauhaus: Yes. Maxwell: So, did you end up asking him to train you? Bauhaus: He did make the offer. It was several years ago. I told my agent that I was taking gymnastics courses for a video, at first. Maxwell: I can imagine that a sudden jump into professional wrestling would have been startling to say the least. Bauhaus: Yes. But I do not follow where convention leads me. I wish only to lead where convention will some day follow. It is a misconception that because I have done Jazz, that I am no longer an artist in the realm of Pop. And it is wrong that people assume that because I am famous in music and fashion, that I cannot also look to extend my reach elsewhere. Maxwell: Perhaps it is the misconception many have of professional wrestling as something that always has to be a lowest common denominator genre of entertainment. Bauhaus: This is the truth, and why I believe in this. Professional wrestling gives an artist more freedom to express herself than anything I have ever done before. The wrestler crafts her own persona in a way that matters beyond anything else. In music, writing, visual arts, performance arts, acting, one performs the part to convince the people. But in wrestling, one does not just convince the audience, but must inhabit one's character to the point that it empowers one to believe in it. And one must then test the entirety of oneself, physically, emotionally, psychically against others, directly, in front of the world. It is holistic in that regard. Maxwell: I think I followed all of that, amazingly. Bauhaus: But enough about myself. It will be my actions that tell my story, for after all, is that not the essence of professional wrestling? I have spoken about myself. Now let me ask you a few questions, Maxwell. Maxwell: It would be my honor to answer them. Bauhaus: So, Maxwell, I read your site before I came here. Astro told me you were the person to speak to if I were to do my first interview. Is it true you have been commentating for more than fifty years? Maxwell: Well, that would certainly be true! I was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1946, the son of a proud Tuskeegee Airman. I grew up wanting to be Jackie Robinson, as I was raised to be a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers. I was heartbroken when they moved to Los Angeles, but I still remain a lifelong fan of the team, and of another member of their organization, Vin Scully, the famed commentator. Bauhaus: You wanted to play the sport, where did that change to wrestling commentary? I really would like to hear this story. Maxwell: An amusing tale, really. When I was in high school, I wanted to try out for the baseball team, but another kid beat me to the second baseman position, which Jackie Robinson played, so instead of taking another role as a utility man, I chose to walk away. As it was, I was on the school's speech team, and a few days later, the baseball coach talks to us, saying he needed someone who knows the game to call the season in the booth. I couldn't have raised my hand faster. I was the first black commentator for Hope High School. Bauhaus: I'm impressed. Thank you for breaking down barriers and being a force for positive change. It's like I'm talking to living history. Maxwell: High compliments, and not unappreciated, I will say. As it was, I did commentary for the season, and near the end, a local TV producer talked to me after a game and asked if I wanted to make some money calling matches for the wrestling show he was broadcasting. I took him up on the offer, and I must have done a decent job of it, because here we are today. Bauhaus: But now you do more interviews and writing for that website, right? Maxwell: As I said earlier, I've been around for a while, seventy-three years old to be specific. I'm a few years older than the oldest members of the Old Guard in the Senatorial Office, so that makes me somewhere on par with Methuselah. While I still call a show here and there, I would rather spend this phase of my life with my family, my friends and traveling around to interview interesting people. Bauhaus: Interesting people like me, you mean. You're too nice. Maxwell: It has been a personal and a professional privilege to speak with you, Nina. There is one question left that I must ask, however, and the one that my own audience would most like to know. Have you signed with Wacker Drive Revival, and when are you making your debut? Bauhaus: I thought you said one question. That was two questions. Maxwell: My deepest apologies. Bauhaus: As punishment for breaking your word, I will only answer one of your questions. I will make my debut when the time is right. Maxwell: Now that was a vague answer. I suppose it is your right to play your cards close, as disappointing as it might be. Bauhaus: One must always keep the mystery alive. But no, in all seriousness, yes, I have agreed to make a deal with Wacker Drive Revival. They align with my presence, as do the fellow musicians of the Blue Notes. But do not believe for a moment that I will only be confined there...a free spirit must remain free. Maxwell: And that is a good point to close out on.

RESULTS Lightning Pro: Homecoming Tour (9-13-19) 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, September 13, at the Kyoto Central Gymnasium in Kyoto, Japan Bonus Match Dean Bardo vs. Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint Sylvain Mint, a longtime veteran and former PEWA wrestler has been active on the indy scene, and has reportedly looked to return to his old stomping grounds for the December PEWA 20th Anniversary show. As a warmup, he made a cameo in Japan, taking on Dean Bardo, and beating the Professional at his own game, out techniquing him and gaining a flash pin with a cobra twist cradle. Main Event The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto) vs. The Muscle Machines(Gary Gear and Adonis Avery Alexander) Crusher Honda's return was marred by some of the best teamwork to date from the Muscle Machines, with Gary Gear landing big moves early on and Adonis Avery Alexander defeating Wrecker Yamamoto with the More Muscular fireman carry double knee gutbuster. With all their recent struggles, this was an essential win for the Machines, and a wake up call for Honda. In actuality, Wrecker stole the More Muscular and beat Adonis with his own finisher! A wakeup call, anyway for Honda, who was not at her best, and a return to form for the Machines, who still carried themselves well in a match against two of L-Pro's strongest. ALEXANDER vs. Daisuke Shimura(ZIP Japan) Every bit the spectacular match that was expected, ALEXANDER and reigning ZIP Champion, Shimura went move for move, fighting in and out of the ring until an emphatic Gordian Drop wheelbarrow tombstone earned the biggest win of the proud Greek-Japanese fighter. This will almost certainly give ALEXANDER a future chance at the gold. The Return of Endo Masa Tokugawa vs. Nishimura Endo Nishimura Endo showed some obvious ring rust in his return, finding trouble landing his biggest moves against a relentless Masa Tokugawa, who eventually landed the dreaded Apocayplse Knee to take the pinfall. The Debut of Takemura Naoka Takemura vs. Ayako Miyamoto Naoka Takemura demonstrated why she feels that she's the True Star of The Show, defeating Ayako Miyamoto with her Kick of Fortune despite taking a number of German suplexes. Welcome Back, Rei Hasegawa Rei Hasegawa, Keiko Maeda(Phoenix Rising), Yuki Okamura and Saburo Aoki Jr. vs. Super Grey Machine, Yuriko Masamune, Kosuke Arai and Koji Sawada As much as this was Rei Hasegawa's homecoming and a victorious effort for Rei's Sparks, this was also Keiko Maeda's vindication, with all four members of Hasegawa's team looking impressive, Maeda anchored the squad, allowing Saburo Aoki Jr. to pick up the win over Yuriko Masamune with his ultra-effective Swift Blade finisher. Preliminary Main Event G.P. Christopher vs. Cody(Independent) A typically action packed opener with the ever-reliable GPC pushing the pace. The Man Known as Cody, though, was able to show his own quality, coming out ahead with his Goodnight Sweet Child twisting complete shot to gain an impressive win to his record. --- Match of the Night: ALEXANDER vs. Daisuke Shimura -Undoubtedly the only real choice here, with the two showing ample amounts of their fighting spirit in a high octane bout. Performer of the Night: Masa Tokugawa -With solid showings from Cody and Keiko Maeda for outside talent, and ALEXANDER putting forth a great effort of his own, this was a tough choice, but Tokugawa's dominance over a former Victorious Medal holder was enough to take the nod.

A Fast Interview with Senator Steve Phillips By "Fast" Eddie Edison It is no surprise that Senator Steve Phillips is a busy man. Between his elected position and coordinating the Senatorial Office, he doesn't often have time for a long sitdown interview. So that's probably why he called me, the fastest interviewer in the game, to take this one. "Fast" Eddie Edison: Always glad to make time for a quick chat like this, Senator Phillips. I take it you probably made this call on speed dial...sorry about that. Anyway, thanks for calling, and I'd like to first ask you about Lariats and Legislators #9. You know the Office has a bad record in these crossover events, don't you? Senator Steve Phillips: Well, Eddie, I would have to say that your assessment is not far off the mark. Time and time again, the Office has performed somewhere below the standard expectation in such events. But I am confident that this is not a pattern indicative of future results and I believe our talent will match up exceedingly well with that of Phoenix Rising. Edison: Do you think you stand a chance against Firehawk Sentarl? This man is in the best form of his career, just defeated the Black Dragon setting up a title shot against her, and wrestles weekly! You, on the other hand, didn't you just lose to some little guy in Egypt? Senator: Let me first state that my match in OASIS was by no means a fluke encounter. Osiris Redfire has done a tremendous job getting his organization off the ground and running. And in the ring, he is a crafty, malevolent competitor who can detect and capitalize on any flaws his opponent might have. He defeated me, fair and square. But where he earned his true victory was not so much in the ring, as it was in goading me into an ill-advised match. I saw the opportunity for a sparring match to prepare myself for Mr. Sentarl. Mr. Redfire saw a chance to go all out and grasp a statement victory. Were I less prideful and more aware, I would not have jumped into the ring on the basis of some crude comments. But we live with our mistakes. Edison: And Firehawk? Senator: Firehawk Sentarl is an excellent adversary, and I will be fortunate indeed to come out ahead in this one. But do not let anyone tell you that I do not believe I can do this. Fortune favors the bold, luck falls upon the prepared. And I am fully prepped for this matchup. Edison: A few more quick ones, I saw Skurai the Hardcore Ninja and Canadian Grizzly in AAW the other night when I was commentating. They both looked great in the AAW ring, your thoughts? Senator: The Senatorial Office is always pleased to cooperate with AAW, and to share talent in that spirit. Skurai seemed to fit in very well and I will state right now that Timor Dragunov is more than welcome to have a rematch with the Grizzly either on an AAW mat or in the Office. Edison: My old broadcast colleague and your good friend Maxwell McNally did a recent interview with pop sensation Miss Bauhaus. Is it true that she's considering wrestling under the Office banner in Wacker Drive Revival, and if so, how big a coup is that? Senator: It is rare that you get the opportunity to find a crossover talent as exceptionally dedicated to her craft as Miss Bauhaus is, and I will be looking forward to seeing what exactly she has in store. I would say the only equivalent deal the Office has seen to date was the signing of Andronicus Turner to UCSS. But Miss Bauhaus is on a whole different level in terms of worldwide recognition. Edison: Well, that's about it for me, you have anything else to say? Senator: Yes. No matter how the matches go, Lariats #9 will be a landmark event for the Office and for Phoenix Rising. I am very much looking forward to sitting back on tomorrow night and watching the events unfold, just as I am well anticipating my own bout with Firehawk Sentarl, and our worthy main event between Crusher Honda and Urani Whitemist. Do turn in on the Senatorial Streaming Service at 8:00 PM, CT, and you will will not be disappointed, and that, my friend, is nothing, but the truth.
