MORGAN "MIDAS" MATTHEWS IS BACK IN THE WRESTLING BUSINESS Starting this Friday, Golden Touch Promotions will host its first event under its own banner. Unlike most promoters, Morgan Matthews believes in giving the fans the premium matchups and optimal performances for the rest of the card. Golden Touch will feature interpromotional big money bouts over time, and place top level competitors against the roster of ENHANCE, a stable of hungry up and coming wrestlers looking for an opportunity. With a set of negotiations, Golden Touch will be broadcasting on the Senatorial Streaming Service and will have use of the Hippodrome venue connected to the Office's Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center, but the promotion and event will not be directly affiliated with the Office in any other way. Golden Touch Promotions #1: Wyatt vs. LawtonFriday, August 2nd at the Hippodrome in Washington DC Main Event Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro) vs. Adrien Lawton(AAW)At the last TIPWF event, in a four way title eliminator, Wyatt and Lawton focused on each other to the exclusion of the other entrants. There was obvious bad blood between Warrior Pro's champ and AAW's resident Money Maniac. Eventually, Lawton eliminated Wyatt, but lost the match. Now, Wyatt is seeking his revenge, while Lawton apparently has blamed Wyatt's dirty tricks on his inability to eliminate Cowboy Johnston. This one will be one for the ages. Co-Main Event Silver Hawk(Wrestle Parade) vs. Ibrahim Rahman(Pan African Wrestling)On the verge of the 2019 Pan African Tour, Rahman has asked Golden Touch for his release, to be able to wrestle independently for Pan African Wrestling. Midas has agreed to give Rahman an opportunity to do so, if he can beat arguably the most popular Jr. Heavyweight active today, Silver Hawk, who has a cash bonus to add to his pay should he pull off the victory. Undercard Competitors -Colossus Rhodes(Santana Family Wrestling) -Titania(Phoenix Rising) -Cutie Booties(ZIP Japan) -Young Blood(PEWA) In addition, Stanford Bradley will be opening up with a 30 minute set from the Funny Factory, but per negotiations, this will not be broadcast on the Senatorial Streaming Service, so this will only be 'enjoyed' by the live audience.

First note for tonight, is that Golden Touch will be airing at 9:00 PM (CT), an hour later, thanks to Stanford Bradley opening up for the show. (In actuality, I had some stuff pop up this weekend and need more buffer time before I run things.)
---
A word from Morgan "Midas" Matthews:
Midas: I invite each and every one of you to enjoy the first broadcast of Golden Touch Promotions. We will provide the best entertainment experience your dollar can afford, starting off with a groundbreaking comedy set, Live from the Funny Factory featuring Stanford Bradley. We here at Golden Touch understand that you want to see the best facing the best. Nobody actually wants to see long drawn out undercard bouts, and as such, we present ENHANCE, our own in-house stable of hungry no-names looking for a one in a hundred shot. Against them, you will see the people you are familiar with, with an opportunity to present their skills in a quick and decisive manner. And in our featured matches of the night, we will make the big money matches that most promotions can't afford. We will have our finger on the pulse of the fans and we will present the interpromotional dream bouts you thought would never happen. Golden Touch is not here to replace anything, we are here to add the vital supplements to your wrestling life that you knew you needed, but never thought you'd get.
---
A statement by Senator Steve Phillips:
Senator: I want to make it extraordinarily clear that while Golden Touch Promotions is indeed airing on my Senatorial Streaming Service, it is in no way shape or form affiliated with the Senatorial Office itself. Golden Touch has access to our service thanks to the agreement that Mr. Matthews and myself signed upon his departure from the Office. He will also be able to book Office talent if they agree, just as the members of my Affiliate Promotions are free to do so for any outside organization. He has full access to members of our roster that had Golden Touch contracts in the past, including Colossus Rhodes and Crusher Honda. Mr. Matthews states that he is not looking to replace anything, but I do not trust him in the slightest. Let it be said that the Office will be happy to leave Golden Touch as it is, up until the moment that Mr. Matthews's insatiable urge for conquest inevitably manifests itself yet again. Until then, I wish those who compete on his program the best of luck, and that, my friends, is nothing...but the truth.
---
A word from Ibrahim Rahman
Rahman: It has been long since I have spoken with the people. I have spent much time learning the English language. It is not easy. But I have learned much over the last year. I am better than I was and will be better in the future. And I want to speak of my respect for Silver Hawk first. He is very strong. He is very fast and very popular for good reasons. I want a competitive match with him with both of us happy with the effort given. I want a good match, but I also want a win. A win will free me from the contract with Morgan Matthews. This contract is oppressive. I appreciate what he did for me. Morgan Matthews gave me the chance to be noticed in the United States. I am happy with the better competition and with the chance I was given. But Morgan Matthews does not believe in the sportsmanship I believe in. And he does not believe in the honor I believe in. And I will be happy now to be able to wrestle on my own terms if I can win. If I cannot, I will congratulate Silver Hawk for his win. I will then try again and I will succeed eventually.

Titania "Make no mistake... I'm not walking away from anything. But when Midas Matthews extends an offer... when you're told exactly what he's after, when you know that you're capable of things that nobody else can do... you step up. And whatever it is that's planned for tonight... rest assured that I'm going to step up and show you exactly why Midas came to me. I'll be ready to roll tonight... and for Monday, ready to crush Layla Al-Amin like the rest."

RESULTS Golden Touch Promotions #1: Wyatt vs. Lawton Friday, August 2nd at the Hippodrome in Washington DC Main Event Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro) vs. Adrien Lawton(AAW) Wyatt was mostly on the defensive in this one, looking more for counter attacks than pushing the pace. And he almost did succeed in his tactics, landing a big brass knuckles shot late in the match, but his superman punches fell short against the seasoned boxer, Lawton, who hit his Rich Boy Facebuster and deadlift German combination to earn a hard fought victory and the $30,000 check. Co-Main Event Silver Hawk(Wrestle Parade) vs. Ibrahim Rahman(Pan African Wrestling) This match was expected to steal the show, and it certainly did, with both Rahman and Hawk going move for move and demonstrating exceptional skill in doing so. Rahman at one point went for consecutive flash pins but it was a Latch Cradle that gave Hawk the match, and the oversized $15,000 check. Colossus Rhodes(Santana Family Wrestling) vs. Neil Rhodes doing what Rhodes does, literally stomping his foe into defeat. Titania(Phoenix Rising) vs. La Belleza A strong showing by Titania, who never seemed to be in any trouble against her luchadora opponent. Cutie Booties(ZIP Japan) vs. Leslie B. This was more like it, a professional performance by Cutie, who kicked her way to an easy win. Young Blood(PEWA) vs. Masked Maniac IV If you're reading this and still plan on watching this show, do yourself a favor and skip to 40 minutes after the 15 minute mark. For the first fifteen, Young Blood beat the absolute tar out of the Maniac in a proper hardcore spectacle. Following that...this was one of the most tedious matches in recent memory, with the PEWA Extreme champ showing no interest in winning, and Maniac showing no ability to win. This carried on for an unbearable 44 minutes until the unthinkable happened: Masked Maniac IV put everything he had into one big DDT onto a chair, and left Young Blood sprawled out, clearly in a bad way. An amazing finish to a terrible match. Dr. Q vs. Jeff The Bad Doctor was in typical form, toying around with his foe like a cat with a mouse, and came out with a comfortable win with a ganso bomb. Stanford Bradley vs. The Fans -Word has it that the fans in attendance hurled trash into the ring during his comedy set, but Bradley was apparently not bothered by the deluge and still went over half an hour, so we'll give him the victory here. --- Match of the Night: Silver Hawk vs. Ibrahim Rahman -Zero questions here, these two couldn't have anything less than a great match, and indeed, had a tremendous contest, matching technical skills in a high speed chess match. Performer of the Night: Masked Maniac IV -Not every day you see a jobber become a star, but this could well have happened here with a terrible knockout victory over the now-former PEWA Extreme champion --- Injury Report Young Blood: Severe concussion, cranial fracture (Indefinite Medical Suspension, Six Months Minimum) -Young Blood was looking to inflict grievous harm on his outmatched opponent, but instead took a DDT onto a chair that fractured his skull and caused a potentially career threatening concussion. Young Blood will likely spend a lengthy stay in the hospital and have a long rehabilitation ahead if he even wants a chance to wrestle again. --- A word from Morgan "Midas" Matthews: Midas: I want to thank the public who showed up to the Hippodrome and threw their trash at Stanford Bradley during his set, and to the many people who tuned into Golden Touch Promotions, but then again, why should I thank you all? You should thank me for the privilege of witnessing the birth of a new revolution! I would apologize for the utter boredom that Young Blood forced you to endure, but he will never wrestle for Golden Touch again...or maybe at all! Suits him right, I say. And I also wish to congratulate Silver Hawk and Adrien Lawton. To the victors go the spoils, and I promise that the next time around, the prizes will be even richer! --- A message from the PEWA and President Biff Taylor Biff: Thanks, dudes and dudettes for hearing me out this morning. The other night, the PEWA Extreme Champion, Young Blood took part in a Golden Touch Promotions event, aw, let's just call it what it was, he was booked in a jobber squash. But Young Blood being the utter jackass that he is, just had to drag things out so long that he gave the jobber a chance to literally crack his thick skull! I ain't lyin' when I say that between me and the rest of the PEWA, we all hope you get better someday, Blood, not because we like you at all, but because we don't need to see anyone, even your idiot self, getting hurt that bad. Biff: Anyway, I have two announcements here. First, obviously, Young Blood ain't defendin' that title. Therefore, he vacates the PEWA Extreme Title, and the belt will be defended this next week in a battle royale. The second announcement is that the man who put Young Blood on the shelf, Masked Maniac IV, is now signed to a PEWA contract, effective now, and I'll even be paying for the kid to get some legit training from the Dwight Gym. Ain't nobody goin' nowhere just with training with our goofoff ref! Alright then, that's all the Biffmeister's got for you this morning!

Apologies for missing this one live, but this was a great show. I love love love the format, and as usual, big props to Hana for the awesome ring. I cant wait for the next one in this series... That said... I was disappointed in Docs performance. He seemed to want to play rope a dope with an actual boxer instead of pushing his own offense. I marked out when he almost pulled it out with the brass knucks, but the right man won (Doc will obviously disagree)
The Silver Hawk match was great- Hawk remains one of the best workers in the community. And holy hell that Young Blood match... I dont know if Ive ever seen an edit built that much around agressive finishes just... refuse to finish. It was definitely a career changer on multiple levels.

With televised slots for the Office being taken later on this month for the Pan African Tour, Santana Family Wrestling agreed to put on a joint effort with the PEWA in an event featuring a bout for the Dominican Golden Championship and a match to find a champion for the currently vacant PEWA Extreme Title. --- PEWA/Santana Family Wrestling: Extreme FestivalFriday, August 9 at 8:00 PM(CT) at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA Main Event: PEWA Extreme Title Battle Royale Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. Sir Vladimir Henry vs. Downtown Lucy Brown vs. Hobo Harry vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ???An eight person battle royale will be held to determine the successor to Young Blood, and with four slots open to mystery competitors, the variables are as plentiful as the gallons of spilled blood likely will be. Co-Main Event: Dominican Golden Championship Colossus Rhodes(C) vs. Killer King Jones] This may be a mismatch of monumental proportions, but the Rudo Army's representitive in this one should gain a boost being back in his original home fed, and Killer King Jones, no matter how far he's slipped, still has a bit of his old viciousness left. That said, Colossus Rhodes will almost certainly take charge of this match even if he doesn't take this one seriously. El Experto vs. The Mallard(Independent)The leader of Rudo EX is going to have to be on top of his well-seasoned game against one of the fast rising stars of the independent Lucha scene. The Mallard has gained plaudits from observers for his explosive technico style and will not make this easy for Experto. Felix Santana Jr. vs. Itzcoatl HernandezHernandez publically demanded a trade from the PEWA to Santana Family Wrestling in recent memory, but appears amenable to return for this match against the star of the Santana Family, Felix Junior, in a match that could give bragging rights either to the Home Team or Rudo EX. Florida Man vs. Salvador SosaThe leader of the Rudo Army will have his hands full with a match against a man who knows no boundaries, no limits, no pain, and no laws. This will likely come down to the struggle between Sosa's potent offence and Florida Man's unreal ability to absorb damage. Rudo EX vs. The PEWA Originals Julio Rivera, Senora Conquistadora and Diego Santana vs. Bodybreaker Brown, P-Dogg and Tracy FinnA six person showcase bout featuring three of Rudo EX vs. three of the men who were around in 1999, with Brown, Finn and original champ P-Dogg fighting for the pride of the PEWA against their nefarious foes. Annie Chang vs. Felice SantanaTwo young third(Chang) and fourth(Santana) generation prospects, with Chang's roughneck style mixing up against Santana's explosive high flying antics. This should do well to open the show at high velocity.

From start to finish, one of the best Office shows I've put on in a while, no outright duds, some big time results and a great time. Thanks again to everyone who showed up, and who let their edits play in the Office. Both are immensely appreciated. RESULTS PEWA/Santana Family Wrestling: Extreme Festival Friday, August 9 at 8:00 PM(CT) at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA Main Event: PEWA Extreme Title Battle Royale Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. Tocapelotas(La Guerra de Sangre) vs. Concrete Pete(Evergreen Wrestling) vs. Sir Vladimir Henry vs. Hobo Harry vs. Downtown Lucy Brown vs. Masked Maniac IV vs. Jack Fury A monumental match in PEWA history, with the vacant Extreme title up for grabs. Tomas started off with the charismatic Tocapelotas in the ring, and it did not take all that long for Toca to end up out on the mat, eliminated. This did not seem to bother him, however, as he remained smiling and staring up at the ceiling for the rest of the match(and some might suggest an Ali-Liston II-esque dive in this case), even after taking several Hobosaults later on. Concrete Pete was a major league wildcard, having just won his debut match in Evergreen, and troubled everyone he encountered. Vladimir Henry's presence was strong, eliminating Tomas and demonstrating his unearthly aura. With Masked Maniac IV making his PEWA debut, he did so in a big way, eliminating Pete with a horizontal cradle, but also falling to the Depths of Fury from Jack Fury. Lucy Brown had spent serious time in the gym as of late, and also demonstrated her upgraded attire, lasting to the final two with Fury, and put the Original Ace away with a rolling Koppo kick to win her first ever PEWA Extreme title, the first woman ever to win the belt. Co-Main Event: Dominican Golden Championship Colossus Rhodes(C) vs. Killer King Jones Nobody expected this one, nobody thought that Killer King Jones would last ten minutes against the Immovable Object. And yet, he almost went to twenty, ran Rhodes down for large portions of the match, turning back the clock several decades to his prime form, and even threw in the usual airplane spin for fun. Alas, as wonderful as Jones's throwback performance was, it was not enough to pull off the victory as a frustrated Rhodes hit his backbreacker stomp combination to seal the deal and keep his Dominican Golden Championship. However, did Jones reveal a crack in his impenetrable armour? El Experto vs. The Mallard(Independent) One of the most hyped up prospects on the current independent scene in Lucha Libre, The Mallard came in on a mission, taking the fight to El Experto, and giving the Rudo EX leader fits as he increasingly took command of the match. But as much as Experto talks about his skill and veteran experience, does have some basis in the truth, and rolled The Mallard up at an opportune time. Felix Santana Jr. vs. Itzcoatl Hernandez Felix Santana Jr. seemed a step slow against Rudo EX's most extreme member, and despite the boos of the Philly crowd, Itzcoatl Hernandez felt entirely at home as he dismantled the face of the Santana Family. Several Tornillos to the outside, a Blazing Tornado brainbuster, the Quetezecoatl Phoenix Splash all did their damage, and it seemed that Hernandez was able to counter everything from his experienced foe. But when none of the usual routs were working, Santana used his high intelligence and savvy, catching his opponent off guard with a rollup pin for a desperate victory. Florida Man vs. Salvador Sosa Florida Man is a conundrum for any opponent, and gave Salvador Sosa fits. But the Rudo Army Commander persevered through tombstones, face smothers, and Florida Swamp Mist(you don't want to know the actual contents) to land a big Island Driver to finish the normally unfinishable Florida Man. Rudo EX vs. The PEWA Originals Julio Rivera, Senora Conquistadora and Diego Santana vs. Bodybreaker Brown, P-Dogg and Tracy Finn The PEWA Originals may have put up a fight, but Tracy Finn simply couldn't stand up, literally, after Julio Rivera planted him with his Samba Suplex, a high powered exploder followed by a requisite dance that left Finn sprawled on the mat. Annie Chang vs. Felice Santana Just as SNK has told us for decades, the future is now. Chang mostly controlled the pace of this one, and seemed on the way to a win here, but Felice Santana showed just why she's considered the heir to the family legacy with an amazing burst of energy, two Lotations and a Santana Sky doing the job. --- Match of the Night: Colossus Rhodes vs. Killer King Jones -This was a night where about five matches could have won this honor, including the wild main event. But Jones and Rhodes brought a level of drama and intensity to deserve the Match of the Night. Performer of the Night: Downtown Lucy Brown -Winning the PEWA Extreme title against seven other opponents and looking good doing so might qualify one for this award. --- Injury Report Tocapelotas: Wind Knocked Out (No perceptible injury) -Toca took a hard Pendulum Slam from Tomas in the main event, and two subsequent Hobosaults from Hobo Harry, and while it may have looked bad, it seems that Toca just wanted to watch the action from inside the ring for the night. Tracy Finn: Upper Body Injury (No Medical Suspension) -The problem with diagnosing Tracy Finn is that there's always a lot wrong with him, physically. Technically, he should not be allowed to wrestle anymore. But the PEWA's lifetime contract with him specifically states that if he is able to walk to the ring, he will be allowed to compete. Finn took a Samba Suplex from Julio Rivera, and may have re-aggravated an old back injury, or could be suffering from whiplash, or might have a mild concussion, but the doctors gave up after stating that he "looks about how he usually does." --- Directly following the main event, this exchange was picked up by the broadcast team: Downtown Lucy Brown had just earned the biggest win of her life, pinning Jack Fury to become the PEWA Extreme champion. She placed a foot on the bottom rope, hoisting the belt up in front of the rabid Halcyon Ballroom audience, giving her Philadelphia fans a sight of a hard-earned prize. Fury, looking as much if not more exhausted than damaged, started rising to his feet as Brown crossed in front of him to raise her title to the other side of the crowd. Instead of doing so, however, she turned back to the fallen legend, throwing the belt over a shoulder and offering a hand. Fury did not take it. Instead, he painfully pushed off his knee to rise back up, towering over his conqueror. The two faced off for a moment, and Fury started nodding as the sweat dripped off his bald forehead. Both simultaneously offered a hand and vigorously applied a handshake. Upon releasing it, Brown stepped over the still-prone Tocapelotas, gesturing for a microphone from ringside, receiving it promptly. Downtown Lucy Brown: That...was everything it should have been! All the hard work! The journey! Starting here, right here in P-Town with all you raging maniacs! Working each and every friggin day with my man, Bodybreaker, getting better at every part of the game! Tocapelotas: toca....toca....toca....toca.... Downtown: You know, when he and I took that side trip to Chicago, I didn't want to go! They treated us well in Wacker Drive, but that place isn't home! And don't get me wrong, I got unfinished business with that X-Treme fool over there, too, but I don't care, because I'm back home, and I'm on top of the world now! But I just have one more thing I need to say. Toca: toca....toca....toca....toca... Downtown: Jack Fury, there's nobody I'd rather beat for this title than you. You waged your wars with Bodybreaker, and he always told me there's nobody he had more respect for on this roster back in the day. When he trained me, he had me watch videos of you as much as anyone! If it wasn't for you, Fury, the PEWA might not have been able to be what it is! So I promise you this, I promise you that the next person who gets a shot at this title, is going to be you. You wanted that last run on top, here's your chance! Toca: toca....toca....toca....toca.... Jack Fury: Match's over, you little bum. Levántate, vete, tonto! And with that Toca fell silent, blinked his eyes, kipped up to his feet, rolled under the ropes and walked to the back without incident. For her part, Lucy Brown simply stared at Fury with a puzzled expression. Fury: What? Didn't know I spoke Spanish? I did some training down Mexico way when I was young...er. Downtown Lucy Brown. I remember when you started here. You were an enthusiastic young woman. Lots of potential, but mostly untapped. I see that you have now joined us on the pantheon of the accomplished. You have reached the grandeur and the heights that only a title holder can experience. You now have become one of the chosen few, one who will live in the collective memory of those who experienced these moments, one who will be immortalized in the halls of records, a name to be remembered. Remember that, for I now accept your challenge. Fury: And I will show you no quarter, I will become deaf to your cries for mercy, I will become blind to your desperate begging, but I will do anything it takes to leave this industry knowing that I did so having regained the splendid status of my long departed prime. You offer this opportunity out of respect, but now, you will fight for your very life. And you will do so at the Horror of Hardcore in October. It is there that my final legacy shall be set. It is there that your ultimate dream will become an inescapable nightmare. Lucy Brown readjusted the PEWA Extreme title over her shoulder, and walked directly into Jack Fury, staring up into his face. Downtown: Take your best shot. She threw down her microphone, and Fury dropped his. The two stood in the ring, and Brown backed off a step, holding up her belt once again, before each turned around and the feed cut off.

A message from Pan African Wrestling:
Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi: Hello, people of the wrestling community! I am Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi, and I am the booker and the worldwide ambassador for Pan African Wrestling. And I am here to talk about the exciting tour that is about to begin tomorrow. There are many great wrestlers from all across the continent who are very excited to show you what they can do, and we will be making eight stops from Madagascar, where we begin, to Egypt, where we finish. The Pan African Tour is about bringing people together, from across Africa and from around the world. We have new members of our exciting roster, Esther Musambi from Kenya, Onika Santos from Angola and Wesley Rakoto will be excited to represent his home, Madagascar for tomorrow! And our guests have been excited to test their ability and entertain you all! I have a few people here, who would also like to speak.
Jean-Pierre Mutombo: Hello, it is I, Jean-Pierre, the Man of Unity, the African Supersensation, the Charisma King, and the Pan African Champion! I hope you all watch us, because we will make it worth your time! I am extremely excited for this Tour, and I know that the fans cannot wait, so the pressure is strong for us to reward each and every one of you!
King Bemba: This year, the tour will be the place for King Bemba to become Champion Bemba! I will destroy everything in my sight, and when I leave, I will leave as the undisputed conqueror of all of Africa! The reign of King Bemba will begin now! All hail Bemba! All hail the Destroyer!
Renate Barlowe: I'm just here to break legs and get paid. This year's been up and down for business. Got paid well by Midas. Getting paid by Bemba. But I need more wins. And wins make money. The Pan African Championship will be perfect advertising. So I'll just have to go take that and add it to my trophy case. But when it all comes down to it, I'm not here for titles, awards, honors. I'm just here for the cash.
Mohammad Ramses: (Translated from Arabic) <The last time around, I won the Pan African Championship and proved that I was worthy of the legacy of the Pharaohs that is my birthright. But this time, I am not interested in regaining my former title. I have been champion. I need not be champion again at this point in time. Instead, I wish to represent my country of Egypt, and my wife, Nefertiri and I will show all that even with the troubles our nation has seen, Egyptians will always be champions in their heart!>
Ibrahim Rahman: I have worked hard on my English. Before, it was hard for me to speak with you. But now it is easier. I am happy on this tour. In Africa, I am not the tool of Midas. I am only here for competing. Facing the best. It is all I ever wanted. It is all I ever needed. And to face the best of Africa is a honor. It is good.
Yetunde Oya: (Translated from Yoruba) <The omen of good fortune shines upon us. The favors of the ancestors are always transient, but they do not look poorly upon us. By pursuit of the benevolent cause, even the unforeseen troubles may be insufficient to diminish the outcome.>
Senator Steve Phillips: Once again, the Senatorial Office prepares to embark in one of the most ambitious and unique events in wrestling. We believe strongly that the Pan African Tour will once again offer something to the world of professional wrestling that cannot be found anywhere else, some of the most dynamic performers you will see in any organization, cooperation across the entire Critical Alliance, with talent from more than ten different organizations joining the Pan African roster and eight different nations generously hosting our events. I do not speak lightly when I state that the Pan African Tour is something special, and that, my friends, is nothing...but the truth.
Mehrmohammdi: And thank you everyone for listening to us here, I will see you all tomorrow night at Antananarivo, Madagascar, which will be on the Senatorial Streaming Service at eight o'clock Central Time in the United States!

RESULTS Stop One: Antananarivo, Madagascar (Televised) Friday, August 16 at 8:00 PM (CT) Main Event: Mistfire Mystical Masterpiece Mistfire Coven(TIKI M'BALI and HOODOO)(Typhoon Pro) vs. Yetunde Oya, Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Jemila Kali(OASIS) Originally scheduled as a match featuring the top four of the Mistfire Coven, CETRA's puzzling absence(either due to a portal mishap or Pan African Wrestling botching the visa, you be the judge) led to the downscaling of the match. The action was as solid as could be, though, with Mistfire's unique combinations troubling the Pan African trio but in the end, it was the Vodou Priestess herself, Yetunde Oya, locking in her signature twister submission, The Gates of No Return on HOODOO to earn a win. Pro Wrestling Revival Multiverse Championship Bout Brayden Sutton(Pro Wrestling Revival)(C) vs. King Bemba This was a match. An easy MotY candidate, in which Brayden Sutton overcame jet lag to take the fight to the intimidating King Bemba, hitting him with everything he could muster, from piledrivers, to triple diving fist drops to full nelson slams to high angle jumping bombs, everything he had, he used. And yet, King Bemba kept kicking out, after taking Sutton's Axe Bomber variation, The Stampede, over and over again, he continued to get up, just barely, and hit Sutton with lariats of his own, which the cowboy survived. Finally, twenty six minutes in, Bemba landed his second Royal Annihilation combo, several powerbombs into a Death Valley Bomb to take the win and the PWR Multiverse Championship. Jean-Pierre Mutombo vs. George Marleau(Independent) George Marleau came into this match looking to make a name off the #1 Ranked Mutombo, and did just that, with the Canadian with Ivory Coast connections took the fight to JPM from the very start, never letting him so much as catch his breath. However, the Man of Unity did not wither under the immense pressure, and rallied late in the match, hitting several big moves culminating in a second rope splash to take the well earned win. Welcome Home, Wesley Wesley Rakoto vs. Ozuna Ofori-Atta(Independent) Ofori-Atta turned heads in this one with his stylish attire and flashy kicks, beating Rakoto from bell to bell. But the Madagascar native did not give up, even as outsized and outmatched as he was, and caught Ofori-Atta with a quick rollup to take a surprising victory. Japan vs. Jersey Storm of the Century(Thunder Fist and Wataru Nakajima)(ZIP Japan) vs. Team AAW(Simba Mufasa and Emmanuel Kirkland)(AAW) The AAW duo came into this match prepared to outlast their esteemed opponents and did just that, with Emmanuel Kirkland scoring an impressive rollup victory over Thunder Fist, while Simba Mufasa cut the ring off. Total War Deathmatch Scorched Earth Mzilikaze(IWE) vs. Anwar Omar Anwar Omar came dressed for war, and received it, as Mzilikaze gutwrench powerbombed him into the floor with enough force to finish the match early. Another quick finish in the early going, and a fearsome showing for Scorched Earth. Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi vs. Mohammad Ramses A match that was predicted to be a potenital show stealer ended quickly as Mehrmohammdi only needed three and a half minutes to catch Ramses in a kimura lock, using his Thiago Gracie BJJ trained ground skills to score a major underdog victory. The Nigerian Prince has reportedly trained hard to step up his game as of late, and it's shown. --- Match of the Night: Brayden Sutton vs. King Bemba -Unquestionably the best match of the night, potentially a MOTY candidate. Sutton showing relentless focus and superior skills while Bemba's unreal toughness gave him the ability to endure endless punishment. Mutombo vs. Marleau and Rakoto vs. Ofori-Atta both delivered as well, however. Performer of the Night: Wesley Rakoto -A great hometown performance from Rakoto, who endured a spectacular attack from Ozuna Ofori-Atta and managed to come away with the win, despite being roundly outfought. --- Injury Report Mohammad Ramses: No Injury -A tweaked arm via Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi's sudden kimura lock looked to have possibly wrecked Ramses's shoulder, but as it was, a fast tap saved the joint and the Tour for the Egyptian. Anwar Omar: Broken Ribs (Two Month Medical Suspension) -The Somalian Survivor took a gutwrench powerbomb on the floor from Scorched Earth Mzilikaze, and did not return to the ring. It's known now that he suffered several broken ribs from the forceful slam and will be out for several months.

And the results are up for Stop Two from Nairobi, Kenya! This was a solid house show event that pleased the fans in attendance and delivered some quality matches and spectacular finishes for the most part. I'm also rather glad this didn't stream, since this was the first time I can remember that every one of my edits ended up winning against outside competition. That's not something I generally like seeing.
RESULTS Stop Two: Nairobi, Kenya (House Show) Sunday, August 11 (Non-Televised) Main Event Mohammad Ramses vs. Ozuna Ofori-Atta(Independent) A total sprint, with both men throwing out finisher level moves before the five minute mark. Ofori-Atta kicked out of multiple Pyramid Drivers and retaliated with running knees, scissors axe kicks and rolling heel kicks, but one big Final Pyramid Driver was enough to earn the win for Ramses. Shaka Corbin(Blackrose) vs. FENYANG This match was a full 180 from the Gizenga-Rakoto bout, both men swinging away and hitting their best shots over and over, inside the ring and out, a spectacular bout that should have been televised. Corbin nearly defeated FENYANG with a Hunter's Spear late in the match, but the Botswanan Heavy Metal Cowboy returned with his double diving headbutt, the Aces High to take the win. One of the best matches of the tour, undoubtedly and one that made sitting through its predecessor on the card worth doing. Wesley Rakoto vs. Professor Mark Giznega This was an exercise in tedium for the first twenty minutes. The Professor has been known as a spoiler, a man who prefers to wait until his opponent pushes the pace, and managed to neutralize Rakoto, and the fans, for a solid twenty minutes, circling away and countering. Eventually, Wesley Rakoto managed to wear his opponent down, and caught him with his now-trademark guard pull rolling pin. Jishikamiku(Independent) vs. Esther Musambi A solid competitive bout, with Jishikamiku keeping Musambi off balance, but a gigantic powerbomb backbreaker was enough to bring the match to a relatively early end. Still, a good showing from Jishikamiku, even in defeat. --- Match of the Night: FENYANG vs. Shaka Corbin -Zero question to this one, these two put on a total clinic on how to entertain the crowd and deliver a match worth paying to see. Performer of the Night: Mohammad Ramses -A solid victory by Ramses and one that makes up for his first surprising loss on the Tour.

That house show looked like a lot of fun. I'm super stolked Ramses shook off that loss from night 1 and appeared back to his impressive ways. Also looked like that Shaka/FENYANG match was fire. Hopefully we get a rematch on a live show at some point...

The King Seeks His CrownsBy "Digital" Dave Doolittle World Wrestling Daily Digest is the home of the most exclusive wrestling news you can find on the internet, and with a Premium Insider Account, you can be in the know at all times before anyone else, for the low, low price of $3.99 a month. You'll get the cutting edge analysis from Kevin Anderson, the stories and info from "Fast" Eddie Edison, the in-depth interviews from the legendary Maxwell McNally and the extensive archives of my own essential match ratings and scouting reports. I always go the extra mile to present top notch journalism for the world of professional wrestling and combat sports and as such, I managed to get an exclusive teleconference with Pan African Wrestling's hottest star of the moment, the Pro Wrestling Revival Multiverse Champion, Uganda's own, The Destroyer, King Bemba. Digital Dave Doolittle: Thank you for taking the time to speak with me, Bemba. King Bemba: I am King Bemba, refer to me as King Bemba. Dave: Ok, thank you again, King Bemba, I know you've been especially busy as of late. Bemba: Of course I have. For too long, I have not reminded the people of who I am and what I can do. That is changed now. Dave: As you know, your match with Brayden Sutton for the PWR Multiverse title earned a 100% rating from me, and it seemed as if there was nothing that would keep you down. How did you keep kicking out of The Stampede? Bemba: Simple. I got up. He hit me, I got up again. Then I hit him, and he stayed down. Dave: Ok, then, I noticed on this tour, there's no stop in your home nation of Uganda. Did you have a problem with this? Bemba: As I said, the people forgot who I am and what I can do. That is why we did not stop in Uganda. But I will return there, with the Pan African Championship, after I add it to my royal collection. Dave: I have to ask, you call yourself king, but what grants you that lineage? Bemba: I am king because I was born to the role, because I am a conqueror and a destroyer. I am a king because I have the right to be the king. I am a king because people follow my command. I am a king because it is in my blood, and even were it not, I would seize the role. Dave: I think that makes sense. Bemba: What part does not make sense? Dave: None of it, it all makes sense, for sure. So, I was meaning to ask, who are you most looking forward to facing in the near future? There's strong rumblings that Kantar of Evergreen Wrestling wants to take a shot at your Multiverse title, and there is a PWR match between Axl Evermore and Johnny Regan to determine a challenger. In addition, Jean-Pierre Mutombo is defending his Pan African Championship against Renate Barlowe this Friday in Kinshasa before the winner of that match defends against you later on in Lagos. Any preferences there? Bemba: None. Barlowe belongs to my Royal Court, she will not provide a challenge even if she defeats that clown Mutombo. For the Multiverse title, anyone can try, none will succeed. Dave: So, do you mean you will pay Barlowe to take a dive? Don't you think she might want to defend a hard earned title? She's proven herself to be dangerous in the past. Bemba: I know that she is, that is why she is on my Court! And if I choose to pay her for my purposes, to ensure I win the title, she is a mercenary, that is all she cares for, to be paid! Dave: You don't think the Senatorial Office might have a problem with that? Bemba: They will have a problem if they meddle in my dealings! This is Pan African Wrestling! This is my kingdom! I do as I please! And I will not speak any further! End Transmission
