Wish I could catch this one live, but I'll have to watch in the morning. I really like this card and, UCSS as whole is a cool concept for a promotion. Savage vs. Butt sounds like my kind of shoot match, and it's cool to see a kickboxing rules match. Wong vs. Daley is a MAIN EVENT. I can't predict a winner, but I feel like someone is getting KTFO. As always, great stuff senator!

Thanks again for everyone who showed up and to those who follow along with the Office! RESULTS UCSS: Combat Horizon - Wong vs. Daley Friday, June 28 following ZIP Japan at the Hippodrome at the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center in Washington D.C. Main Event: UCSS Openweight Title Bout Gang Wong(C) vs. Aoife Daley With Wong wearing his Bruce Lee inspired attire, and Daley wearing her "serious" attire, it was clear both came to take their best shot in this match. Daley's power was clear, landing a Firecracker Punch and various kicks, but Wong's outright skill package was a step beyond, managing to take a submission victory with an ankle hold. Standard Tag Rules The Limbtakers (Ruthless Nicole Alger and Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising)) vs. Bemba's Court (Renate Barlowe and Esther Musambi)(Pan African Wrestling) One of the best matches of the year, not just in the Office, but anywhere. Bemba's Court had some things to prove in their team debut, and worked over the Limbtakers for a good portion of the match, with Barlowe slicing both women open with a foreign object. Musambi's power was startling, dishing out powerbomb backbreakers and brawling on the outside. Eventually, though, the Limbtakers managed to weather the storm, with Candace Monroe holding on through a Mercenary Lock and answering with her own Monroe Knee Lock to take the win, one of the biggest in the Limbtaker's career. Kickboxing Rules Dangerous Nicholas Alger vs. Andronicus Turner DNA didn't do as badly as some might have expected, his body kicks particuarly doing damage, but Turner's quality was too much and a big right hand put Alger down for the ten count within the fourth round to net Andronicus his first UCSS win. Roy Carter(Warrior Pro) vs. Anwar Omar(Pan African Wrestling) A spectacular match, with Warrior Pro's Roy Carter hitting Anwar Omar with everything but the kitchen sink and working his arms over relentlessly. The Somalian Survivor lived up to his name, though, and eventually managed to tap out his favored opponent with a headlock for the big upset victory. Mackenzie Bergeron vs. Daniel Ness With the background, skill sets and credentials of these two, a competitive mat contest was expected, and delivered. However, Bergeron's leglocks were just too much for Ness's depleted knees, the Separateur de Jambe double split leg kneebar finishing the match. "Big Banter" Rory Banner vs. Jamie Tomasi To the disappointment of Thiago Gracie BJJ, and especially, the fans, Rory Banner lived up to his talk with a vicious, dominant victory over Jamie Tomasi, landing a variety of knees to score the KO. Standard Showcase Tag Rules Marcos Angulo, Johnny Sixname(TIPWF), Ong Daengsri and Swingin' Suzie vs. Ricky "Violence" Valdez, Anaba Camacho, Francine Francis and Minerva Markovic A solid showcase bout with everyone getting some offence in, but it was the Thunderbird, Anaba Camacho who took the win with a vicious suplex knockout over the veteran, Swingin' Suzie. Senior Office referee Raymond Allen Fleming officiated this bout, and with Suzie incapcitated, ended up remaining as the thrid man in the ring for the rest of the show. Count Savage vs. Jumbo Joseph Butt This seemed like Joseph Butt's match, until Savage pulled out one of his most esoteric techniques, the Chi Hypnosis, and amazingly, lived up to his pre-match talk by knocking out the giant with the Secret Exploding Palm Style technique. --- Match of the Night: Limbtakers vs. Bemba's Court -This barely edged it over Carter vs Omar, but did so by bringing enough violence for a PEWA or AAW match. Candace Monroe's showing here was well worth seeing in its own right. Performer of the Night: Anwar Omar -While Gang Wong may have come close to earning this with his definitive victory over Daley, Omar's thrilling comeback victory over a motivated Roy Carter was worth the price of admission by itself. Special mention should also go here to Count Savage for his insane knockout win, and Candace Monroe for her role from the Limbtakers bout. --- Injury Report Jumbo Joseph Butt: Knocked Out (Three Week Medical Suspension) -Jumbo took an Exploding Palm from Count Savage, and was KOed, but didn't show any signs of significant brain trauma and was only given the minimum medical suspension for a knockout. Swingin' Suzie: Neck Sprain (Two Month Medical Suspension) -Suplexed hard by Anaba Camacho, Suzie suffered a minor neck sprain. While she will be cleared to referee by the next UCSS event, doctors have taken her age and schedule into consideration, and recommend she take a full two months to fully heal up before fighting again.

Some big guest stars, a debut and a mystery title bout highlight this action packed PEWA card, set for this Friday. PEWA: Ignite the FireFriday, July 5th at 8:00 PM (CT) at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Main Event: PEWA Extreme Title Bout Young Blood(C) vs. Mystery OpponentYoung Blood, furious with his surprise opponent and loss to Elly Blackwood in Evergreen Wrestling, has demanded a title match for the main event, and reportedly told Commissioner Taylor that he was going to provide his own opponent. One can only wonder what the PEWA Extreme champion is intending here, but it can't be good. Annie Chang Welcome Party Annie Chang vs. Tracy FinnWith the rebellious black sheep of the Chang family settling into the Philly swing of things, and is reportedly seen as a potential prospect to replace G.P. Christopher's spot as the workhorse on the roster, she'll receive a somewhat less than intimidating debut, taking on the Unlucky Legend, Tracy Finn. Boss's Challenge Biff Taylor and Mercy Devine(Evergreen Wrestling) vs. Monochrome(Yamikuro and Opaque)Representing the goodwill between Evergreen and the PEWA, Mercy Devine will team up with her fellow show runner, Commissioner Biff Taylor to take on Monochrome, a team that may have been overlooked in the past, but could build major momentum with a win over the two bosses. Opaque, having asked for a trade from Santana Family Wrestling and Yamikuro have shown definite chemistry in the past, and could be a danger to Taylor and Devine. Big Giant vs. Tiny Giant Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. Big Clay Hurst(Wrestle Parade)A battle between two impressive giants, with Big Clay Hurst representing Wrestle Parade, and Tomas hoping for a rematch with Young Blood if he can achieve a victory here. Settling the Matter Mina Fitsharris vs. CiCi Reno(OASIS)This bout came into being thanks to a battle royale in OASIS where Fitsharris found herself eliminated by her own teammate in the fed, CiCi Reno. Reno now travels to the Office to ensure that no bad blood remains...as it'll likely be spilled out onto the mat in this one. Philly Showcase Powers and Fury(Luke Powers and Jack Fury) and Mr. And Mrs. Brown(Bodybreaker Brown and Downtown Lucy Brown) vs. X-KIRA, Beatriz and the Goodfellas(Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod)A big mix of teams here, with potential tag and singles title opportunities lighting up, depending on performances here. Jack Fury in particular has stated that he will do whatever it takes to earn one more shot at the PEWA Extreme title before retiring at the end of the year, but will not be against making a run at the tag titles if his old apprentice Luke Powers wants to go that route. Beatriz makes here return here after suffering an injury against Lash at the hands of her own Burn Cycle finisher. X-KIRA has requested a light tubes bout with Tomas, but the Tiny Giant has not responded yet. Downtown Lucy Brown has said that as long as her husband doesn't have a problem, she might take on Young Blood for his title, and the Goodfellas, having defeated the Wild Women in the past, could well take on a tag title shot with a good match here. Juliette Erving vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi KarnsteinFile this one under the category of "she really is crazy, isn't she?" Erving called out Henry in recent weeks, stating "I don't care about his mystical bullshit, he's just a big faker, he don't like what I say, come try working your evil magic in the ring, good luck with that!" The PEWA apparently contacted Erving before booking the match, and were encouraged to do so.

PEWA: Ignite the Fire takes place tonight with a mystery title match and all the hardcore blood and guts you've come to expect!
---
Promo Roundup
As we peer into the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center, two somewhat unladylike ladies can be found, sitting on the exercise equipment, and a propped up phone is on a third piece, with the face of OASIS's CiCi Reno facetiming with Mina Fitsharris and PEWA's most recent addition, Annie Chang.
Mina Fitsharris: Look, I'm mad, not as much at you as I am at me. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't feel good kicking your ass. Then we'll be cool. If you're cool with that, then let's go.
CiCi Reno: Yeah, I'm cool. But that wasn't a mistake. I knew what I was doing when I threw you out. One on one, you're dangerous. I figured I had a better shot against her.
Mina: Yeah, well, I'm dangerous, so you better be ready.
CiCi: I was ready from day one.
Annie Chang: I know I'm gonna enjoy seeing you two pummel each other.
Mina: Yeah, well, just get ready for your own match, and we'll see how you handle a pummeling.
CiCi: Gotta run, see you when I fly in.
Mina: See you then. Alright, Annie, you better focus on your own stuff, I know you think you can walk in here and your family experience is enough, but the PEWA is different.
Annie: Nah, Tracy Finn's a chump, I saw him on TV, he's easy. I'll drop him like a bad habit and have time to go clubbing after. Besides, Julie said she'd show me all the cool spots in town.
Mina: Oh no, no no no, you listen to me real well...
Juliette Erving: Someone say my name out here?
Erving walks out from the showers, wearing sandals and a towel wrapped around her body, another around her hair.
Mina: Seriously? Go put some damn clothes on!
Juliette: Aw, Mina, you don't want to get all excited there, do you? Wouldn't want to see me drop this towel, would ya?
Mina: Argh! This crap again, you mind not doing this around Annie?
Annie: I dunno, I'm entertained.
Juliette: Hey girl, I found this club the other day, it's got a legit DJ act and half off cocktails on Thursdays, perfect for gettin' ready for a match, right?
Mina: I don't know why I even bother. You two go live it up. Mess up your career, Annie, go ahead.
Annie: Don't cry your eyes out, grannie.
Mina: Annie, you see that ring over there? Want to get in there with me? Because you've pissed me off enough that I'm ready!
Juliette: Calm down, ease up, cool off! There ain't no problem here, unless you're toooooo high struuuuung.
Mina: Look, Biff gave me this task, and he's making it worth my time. I'm teaching her, bringing her along, keeping her out-of-trouble, which means, out of your orbit. So, Juliette, please. Please don't ruin this.
Juliette: Maybe I'll leave her alone if you give me a nice big kiss! No, seriously, we're just messin' with you. I know Annie's got big things to look forward to here, and I'm not ruining it for her, and maybe Biff paid me a bit too to not mess things up too badly with her...
Mina: Really?
Juliette: Yeah. He knows me too well, I think.
Mina: So, you got a match with Vlad Henry, why?
Juliette: Thought it'd be fun, I don't know about you, but I'm sick of his stupid mystic bullshit, nothing supernatural but his ability to piss me off.
Suddenly, Annie snuck up behind Juliette, and pulled her towel off, revealing a tank top and a very short pair of shorts. Both Juliette and Mina stare at a smirking Chang before Erving breaks into laughter and Mina shakes her head, going back to collect her phone.
Juliette: Girl, you got some guts, I like that....(whispering) Wasn't kidding about the club, but the special's on Friday...
---
Tomas the Tiny Giant: the match of the giants is a good match for tomas because if the tiny giant can beat the giant giant then tomas can again have a match with the crimson of youth and THIS TIME TOMAS WILL TAKE HIS TITLE BACK AND MAKE HIM HURT! THE CRIMSON OF YOUTH WILL HURT LIKE HE MADE TOMAS HURT! and seeing the one who is unbeatable beating the crimson of youth in the land of the always green has given me confidence because now THE TINY GIANT KNOWS THAT THE CRIMSON OF YOUTH CAN BE HURT AND CAN BE HURT BAD AND TOMAS WILL MAKE HIM HURT EVEN WORSE! but tomas must first beat the giant giant and the giant giant is not easy, even for the tiny giant...
---
Luke Powers: Let's do this, man! Let's kick some ass and take them back to the old school!
Jack Fury: As the seasons pass, so does my career. Winter gives way to spring which gives way to the heat of the summer. The time to close the loop is shortening.
Luke Powers: Aw, come on, stop talking like that, we make the time we need, let's get back at this thing. Let's run those newbies down, let's put a hit on the Goodfellas and let's take our shot at the tag belts! We can do this! And we do this, sets you up for your run at the big one!
Fury: Truth be told, my old bones are creaking I feel my retirement looming every time I get up in the morning, and I might even welcome it.
Powers: Hah, shut up! You still do springboard stuff off the ropes better than a junior heavy! I'll drag you into that title shot if I gotta. Only fair, you helped me get my first belt, I help you get your last.
Fury: You beat me for that belt, don't forget.
Powers: And you helped me along until I was ready for that! Now I'm gonna stick around and bug the hell out of you until you get that bookend up! Let's get those tag belts, and then let's get you your twenty year anniversary belt, let's do this!
---
Biff Taylor: Come on, the Biffmeister's done everything that he can do, so I got two words to ya: back off!
Young Blood: When a handpicked referee screwed me over, you did nothing. When he made a fast count, you did nothing. When your girlfriend picked an opponent that never had any history with Evergreen, you did nothing!
Biff: Look, look, look. That look is bad on you...not that you ain't ugly as a rest stop toilet, but this really doesn't make you look cool. Man, you lost a match, we all lose matches!
Young Blood: When the referee fast counts, it's bullshit! When the promoter can't even pull in its own talent for a challenge, it's bullshit!
Biff: Dude, you have to calm yourself. Ain't no fast count in my eyes. And the boys all agree with me on that. You got your ass beat by a better wrestler, flat out. Gotta be ready for anybody, anywhere, if you're the best! Do I like that my champ lost? Nope. Do I like that you ate some humble pie? Hell yeah, I do. You know the Mutants set up the BBQ back here after you lost? We loved seeing that!
Young Blood: You all want to stand in the way of progress. You can't handle that you're one step from crumbling into dust while the future stares you in the face! You want to ensure the future of this company, do what I ask. File my complaint. Give me a worthy opponent in a fair match! A fair match, without some fucking tool waiting to make me lose! You do this, I make this the best company in the world. You stand in my way, maybe you need a fresh infusion to wipe you all away.
Biff: OoOoOoh, is that a threat I hear?
Young Blood: Give me what I want. Or you pay a price.
Biff: Gimmie the bill, an' I'll pay it, now get outta my office!
Young Blood: You'll regret it when the Infusion washes you away to nothingness...you'll regret it!

CiCi Reno sends a text to Mina Fitsharris after disembarking the plane in Cairo.
"Hey Bitch. I made it back to Cairo. Helluva fight. As far as I'm concerned, we're good. Hope you're ready to team up again soon. <3 Cici."

RESULTS PEWA: Ignite the Fire Friday, July 5th at 8:00 PM (CT) at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Main Event: Annie Chang Welcome Party - PEWA Extreme Title Bout Annie Chang vs. Young Blood(C) This was originally going to be a match between Chang and Tracy Finn, but it was announced that Tracy Finn had been found KOed backstage in a pile of ketchup packets. Instead, Young Blood announced that Chang would have her first match against him, and that it would be for the PEWA Extreme title. Chang tried her best, even hitting her finisher "And She Got the Upset!" but Young Blood was unimpressed, popping up and putting her down with the Blood Drive. Boss's Challenge Biff Taylor and Mercy Devine(Evergreen Wrestling) vs. Monochrome(Yamikuro and Opaque) Good matchup between the dynamic style of Monochrome and the singular old school hardcore approach of the Bosses...who ended up winning in the end with Mercy spiking Yamikuro with a scoop tombstone. Big Giant vs. Tiny Giant Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. Big Clay Hurst(Wrestle Parade) Big Clay Hurst had a bit of trouble getting started in this one, and just when it looked like he was going to build some momentum, a huge Alabama Slam finished him for the night. Settling the Matter Mina Fitsharris vs. CiCi Reno(OASIS) This absolutely lived up to the expectations, with Reno and Fitsharris engaging in a back and forth brawl that ended with a big brass knuckles punch that left Fitsharris standing in the end. Philly Showcase Powers and Fury(Luke Powers and Jack Fury) and Mr. And Mrs. Brown(Bodybreaker Brown and Downtown Lucy Brown) vs. X-KIRA, Beatriz and the Goodfellas(Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) Early on in this bout, X-KIRA made the mistake of crossing Luke Powers, and took a thunderous powerbomb to the outside as a result, spending the rest of the match laid out. This did not impact the final result for his team, however, with Beatriz making a strong return by finishing Jack Fury with a fireball. Juliette Erving vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi Karnstein Juliette Erving threw everything and the kitchen sink at Sir Vladimir, hitting him with so many running lariats in a row that it felt like it would never end, and even stole the Omen of Death, but a timely intervention by Heidi Karnstein kept the action going, which eventually led to a full Omen of Death lifting neck spike to put Erving down. --- Match of the Night: Mina Fitsharris vs. CiCi Reno -A strong performance by both women, who held nothing back in ripping each other to shreds. Very impressive showing from Reno, who has reportedly caught the interest of PEWA's management for a future return to Philadelphia. Performance of the Night: Luke Powers -A strange choice, considering his team lost, but knocking X-KIRA out with a powerbomb to the outside was a loud statement that Powers is more than ready to challenge for gold again, whether it be for Young Blood's Extreme Title, or teaming with Jack Fury against the Wild Women. --- Injury Report X-KIRA: Lower Back Contusion (No Medical Suspension) -X-KIRA got powerbombed out of the ring to the floor, thankfully, on the thin mats covering the floor of the Halcyon Ballroom. The doctors suggested a two week suspension, but it appears that X-KIRA will find his way back into action almost immediately.

The concluding event for the Lightning Across Japan Tour takes place this Friday, with a big time title match between the Black Dragon and Masa Tokuagwa! --- Lightning Across Japan Finale (7-10-2019)Friday, July 10th, following All Time Boxing in our timeline, in the Kyoto Central Gymnasium in Kyoto, Japan Main Event: Victorious Medal Championship Bout The Black Dragon(Phoenix Rising)(C) vs. Masa TokugawaHaving defeated G.P. Christopher in the Preliminary Main Event at the start of this tour, Tokugawa earned the right to challenge for the Black Dragon's Victorious Medal. But this could very well bring the Apocalypse upon its own Warrior, with the Dragon in top form as of late. Ayako Miyamoto and Kaede Kinoshita vs. Ai Tanaka and Takeshita EikoThis can be seen as a potential preview for the future of L-Pro, with three of the most promising women on the roster and one of the independent circuit's best performers all looking to make an impression. Miyamoto's suplexes, Kinoshita's high flying, Tanaka's striking and Eiko's hard hitting attack should combine for a top notch showing. Wesley Rakoto(Pan African Wrestling) vs. Koji SawadaPan African Wrestling's newcomer, Wesley Rakoto of Madagascar looks to showcase his skills against the L-Pro Dojo's top student, Koji Sawada. Rakoto's hybrid style mixes high agility lucha libre, without relying on top rope techniques along with the martial art of Moraingy. Sawada, despite his high potential, has still been floundering on his occasional main roster appearances, but word has it that the Dojo is still extremely confident that he has the making of a future ace. Yuriko Masamune, Kosuke "Choppu" Arai, Super Grey Machine and Dean Bardo vs. The Muscle Machines(Gary Gear and Adonis Avery Alexander) and the Rei Hasegawa Fan Club(Saburo Aoki Jr and Yuki Okamura)A big four on four showcase match with the veterans going up again against the power of the Muscle Machines, as well as the youthful enthusiasm of the Rei Hasegawa Fan Club, who fly in from the Blackwood Academy to gain a bit of experience in their home fed, albeit, without the object of their adoration, Ms. Hasegawa herself, who remains in America for the time being. Preliminary Main Event G.P. Christopher vs. Wrecker YamamotoWith Crusher Honda still on the shelf, Wrecker Yamamoto looks to take her chance to make some waves. If she can defeat Christopher in his element, she could well enter into the title discussion sooner than later. As for GPC, he has repeatedly demanded a Victorious Medal shot in the opening slot, and while it seems that for now, the L-Pro management is resistant to the idea, his persistence may well pay off one day if he puts together a string of impressive victories.

Another show, and a wonderful night of Fire Pro, with some old faces popping up, and the regulars not unappreciated. Special thanks again to Bow and Firehawk for the contribution of their fine edits to the program. RESULTS Lightning Across Japan Finale (7-10-2019) Friday, July 10th, following All Time Boxing in our timeline, in the Kyoto Central Gymnasium in Kyoto, Japan Bonus Match Rick Humphries vs. The Outlaw, Sam Hall Sam Hall was typically ticked that he was left off the card for the tour ending show, and again, L-Pro scrambled to find him a foe. Enter Rick Humprhies, Senatorial Office staff member and formidible brawler in his own right. The match was a bit slower than the outright war that preceeded it but ended with fireworks as Sam Hall spiked Humphries with Damn Your Eyes, his diving DDT for a KO win. Main Event: Victorious Medal Championship Bout The Black Dragon(Phoenix Rising)(C) vs. Masa Tokugawa Masa Tokugawa gave this match his best shot, and nobody can fault his performance, taking the fight to the Black Dragon right off the start, landing multiple Apocalpyse Knees and never letting up on the pace. But the Dragon at this point may well be the most feared competitor in the entire Critical Alliance, and walked through the knees to deliver a lariat and a facelock to defend her Victorious Medal. Ayako Miyamoto and Kaede Kinoshita vs. Ai Tanaka and Takeshita Eiko(Independent) This match was billed as a look into the future of L-Pro, with three top future competitors all taking part. However, the biggest star of the match was freelancer Takeshita Eiko, who performed admirably in terms of teamwork with similar striker Ai Tanaka, and scored a huge knockout victory on Kinoshita for the win. Wesley Rakoto(Pan African Wrestling) vs. Koji Sawada Sawada was never really in this match, with Pan African Wrestling's Wesley Rakoto proving the superior technician, and landing a slick pinfall out of a guard pull into a grounded huracanrana for the victory. Yuriko Masamune, Kosuke "Choppu" Arai, Super Grey Machine and Dean Bardo vs. The Muscle Machines(Gary Gear and Adonis Avery Alexander) and the Rei Hasegawa Fan Club(Saburo Aoki Jr and Yuki Okamura) The real story of this match was the homecoming of Rei's Sparks, who made a difference here, Saburo Aoki Jr. coming away with the win by landing a Swift Blade(Sling Blade) on the Super Grey Machine. Preliminary Main Event G.P. Christopher vs. Wrecker Yamamoto Wrecker was in fine form for most of this match, even stealing the Destiny Driver double arm piledriver at one point, but GPC did not back down, landing a series of machine gun chops into a shining wizard for the win. --- Match of the Night: Black Dragon vs. Tokugawa -A title match that exceeded expectations, with the Apocalyptic Warrior pulling out all the stops to give the invincible Dragon a run for her money, but also showcasing the Victorious Medal holder's ruthless side and unreal resiliancy. Performer of the Night: G.P. Christopher -GPC put on another top notch match and weathered a massive storm from Wrecker Yamamoto to defend his Preliminary Main Event spot. --- Injury Report Kaede Kinoshita: Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) A hard knee from Takeshita Eiko put Kinoshita out, and as such, a typical two month mandatory rest will be dictated. Rick Humprhies: Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) A diving DDT from Sam Hall knocked Humprhies out, and as per usual, a two month suspension will follow.

We return to Chicago for a big time Wacker Drive event with The Loop on the line, a big time battle of the big men and much more! --- Wacker Drive Revival: Revolutionary StruggleFriday, July 19 at 8:00 PM (CT) at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Main Event: The Loop Title Bout The Internationale("The Marxist" Joseph Harpo, Stakhonovite Warrior and Sarita Jean Watkins)(C) vs. The D-Team("D-Man" Daunte Thomas, Freight Train McMichaelson and Astrid Johannson)The Loop can be defended in singles, team, or series competition, and this time, the Internationale will defend in a six person tag against the D-Team. While the D-Team's ace, Mr. Moonsault is elsewhere down the card, they still present a formidable threat to the Soviet revivalists, with Harpo and Thomas, Freight Train and Warrior and Johannson and Watkins all matching up well. There has been bad blood between these teams in the past, and that could well heat up again in this match. Towering Turmoil Mr. Moonsault vs. Brick(Warrior Pro)Two of the best big men in the Critical Alliance match up here, with Brick's hard nosed power pitted against Moonsault's unnatural agility. The real question here, however, is if Brick will be at his best following his Warriorversary match against Roy Carter on the previous day. Gorilla Power vs. Big Robert MontgomeryThe Boss steps into a rare singles match against the leader of the Animal Farm, Gorilla Power. Montgomery has stated that he wants to test the big man, and the bluesman has stated that he will be happy to grant another shot at The Loop for the Animal Farm, should Power impress him sufficiently. Queen's Rangers(Phil Mercury and Valerie May) vs. Ross Malone and Elle BarrettThree Lions against the Action Pack in this bout, with the Queen's Rangers looking to improve their tag ranking, while the Action Pack simply should be seeking a statement with a win here. The key to this match is to control the pace, if it moves quick, the Queen's Rangers will run circles around their older foes, but the Action Pack could come out ahead if Malone and Barrett can keep things slower, allowing Barrett's technical side and Malone's effective brawling to come into effect. Josie J. Jett vs. Lila GilaThe neo-soul singer and face booting Jett should be up for an unorthodox challenge in this one. Lila Gila has been racking up dates on the independent circuit, with her unique style and bizarre personality making her a tough one to figure out. Four Way Fracas Super Komodo vs. Humberto Ortega vs. Astro Traveler vs. Emerald SantiagoThe show opens up with a single fall four way match between four high octane competitors, with Komodo's reptilian style, Ortega's tranquillo approach, Traveler's spaced out attack and Santiago's King's Road influence all combining for what should be a frantic encounter. --- A pressroom meeting of the Internationale and the D-Team ended up predictably chaotic, and of course, we have the footage of the best parts: Joseph Harpo: We will defend what we have secured for the People! We have successfully redistributed the levers of power in Wacker Drive and we will continue to demonstrate the failings of the capitalist society, of the corrupt regime that runs this very organization, and we will have Chicago in our corner as we rip the facade off the running dog lackeys that call themselves the D-Team! You see Marcus Xavier, who calls himself Mr. Moonsault, who people call a hero of this city, but all I see is a man who wears the logos of the sportswear industry everywhere he goes! He is not for the people, he is for the corporate manipulators who want you buying marked up products from the hypocritical sweatshop manufacturers! They may speak as if they are for the oppressed and the marginalized, but they only do so to market their products and hide their own terrible abuses! And Marcus Xavier is part of that particular facade! He is a living representation of consumerism! Mr. Moonsault: Man. I'm not even in this match, but you're making me wish I was. We cool, and I'm not even saying you're a hundred percent wrong, but save it for another time unless you want me doing something we don't need me doing, got it? Harpo: I will not be silenced, I will not stop fighting for justice! I will not back down! And I have the support of my fellow revolutionaries! The Stakhonovite Warrior raises a robust fist in the air, Sarita Jean Watkins applauds with vigor and Humberto Ortega...has a dazed smirk on his face. Harpo: Is that not right, Humberto? Humberto Ortega: Yeah, mang...I'm just thinking about January 1st. January 1st in Illinois. It'll be a great day. A real great day...maybe a cold one...but a victory day... Harpo: Anyway, we will defend The Loop because while it was not intended in this way, The Loop is a symbol of what we represent, it is a symbol of solidarity, which is what the Internationale stands for, unlike any of the other so-called teams in Wacker Drive, we are the only true... "D-Man" Daunte Thomas: For someone who claims to be all for redistribution, you sure seem to claim a monopoly on the microphone. If I may be so audacious as to speak my own viewpoint in this discussion, I believe it would be best for the "people" if you would promptly shut your dumbass mouth! Harpo: You could be on the right side of history with us, Daunte Thomas! But you swim against the tide! And it is my duty and my pleasure to properly inform all those who do not... Freight Train McMichaelson: Yeah, yeah, whatever, whatever, I'm not, you know, out here to blather on, I'm just here to say that I wanna crush you loudmouths with the biggest tackle I got! Bears Power! Stakhonovite Warrior! Soviet Strength! Freight Train: Bears Power beats Soviet Strength! Da Bears are still here, where's your USSR? Stakhonovite Warrior: In my beating heart! That will power me to fight powerfully for defending Internationale! For beating you! Freight Train: Bring it on, buddy! Let's get this Freight Train rollin'! Astrid Johannson: We'll show them, won't we, big guy? Freight Train: Damn straight we will! Freight Train bends down to plant a kiss on Johannson's lips, only to receive a shove to the shoulder and a wagging finger to the face by Sarita Jean Watkins. Sarita Jean Watkins: Enough of that microaggression! I am sick and tired of your hetronormative ways and I will show you just what I showed those problematic NBNF Neanderthals who couldn't believe that as they remain stuck in the dark ages of the 1990s, I introduced them to the future of this company and I Changed the World on them! Astrid: Wait, wait, this is too funny! "Hetronormative?" Aren't you sleeping with the weed man over there? Sarita: What a terri...preposter...awful thing to say! How dare you! Daunte: Me thinketh the lady doeth protest too much. Freight Train: Haha, she's been hittin' it with Che Guevara guy? Figures! Sarita: No! How dare you throw around accusations like this! I would never! Jospeh Harpo: Sarita, even Chairman Mao knew there were battles that weren't winnable... Stakhonovite: It is ok! Relationships between fellow revolutionaries, no shame, keep morale strong! Sarita: Wha...why... Moonsault: This made it worth it having to listen to Harpo run his mouth. Glad I was here, now. Sarita: Enough! I hate you all! But don't you think you won, Johannson! I'm not walking out on the cause! I'm going to take all my anger out on you all to win the match! You'll feel the righteous wrath you deserve to feel! At this point, Humberto Ortega roused himself somewhat from his stupor, noticing a very angry Sarita Jean Watkins. Ortega's reaction at this point could well be summed up in this image: Humberto: Aw, you mad, Sarita? I'll...calm you down later... Sarita: And you! You... Watkins merely shakes her head and stomps away, while the remainder of the two teams stand up to the podium, facing off. Daunte Thomas: May the best team kick ass and take names. Joseph Harpo: History will record the winner, whoever it is. The two teams pose for the picture, and shake hands, leaving on a surprisingly amiable note.[/b][/b]

A solid night of matches with the top of the card especially delivering for the Chicago audience. On a side note, thanks to everyone who put up with the subpar quality of the feed, with Twitch acting up, and my own boneheaded mistake of somehow not having Brick on my save for the Mr. Moonsault match(Sorry, Lefty), but I'll say that what happened there instead ended up being well worthwhile. --- RESULTS Wacker Drive Revival: Revolutionary Struggle Friday, July 19 at 8:00 PM (CT) at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Main Event: The Loop Title Bout The Internationale("The Marxist" Joseph Harpo, Stakhonovite Warrior and Sarita Jean Watkins)(C) vs. The D-Team("D-Man" Daunte Thomas, Freight Train McMichaelson and Astrid Johannson) The buildup for this match raised expectations, and the match itself did not disappoint. Both the D-Team and the Internationale showed up in fine form, with Astrid Johannson tackling the Stakhonovite Warrior out of his boots multiple times, Sarita Jean Watkins running her mouth as much as she did the ropes, Freight Train and the Warrior bringing the power and the D-Man and the Marxist brawling with authority. The match rarely had a moment for viewers to catch their collective breath, and took place as much outside as inside the ring, and in the end, a Soviet Leg Drop from Harpo on Johannson was enough to seal off a spirited defense of The Loop. Towering Turmoil Mr. Moonsault vs. Tommy O'Malley(Warrior Pro) This was originally going to feature Moonsault vs. Brick, but at the last minute, the Warrior Pro's big man was pulled from the event, as doctors stated in a re-evaluation that his arm needed more time to heal following a post match attack from Roy Carter at the previous night's Warriorversary event. Enter the Masshole, Tommy O'Malley, who somehow found his way to Chicago in time for the event, and put on a spirited fight, even dumping the much larger Moonsault out of the ring with a Emerald Flowsion, and admirably controlled space and pace well enough to avoid Marcus Xavier's trademark moonsaults, but eventually fell to a Split Legged Moonsault in the end. Gorilla Power vs. Big Robert Montgomery Gorilla Power was told he could earn a shot at The Loop for the Animal Farm if he showed up for this match. To remain pithy here, he more than showed up. Gorilla Power ran through the Wacker Drive boss and finished him with a springboard crossbody. Queen's Rangers(Phil Mercury and Valerie May) vs. Ross Malone and Elle Barrett The Action Pack showed up here in full focus, surviving a multiple powerbomb attack by May on Barrett. Elle Barrett was the star of the match, stealing Mercury's Flick of the Wrist twisting Complete Shot and eventually pinning May with a Momoe Latch cradle. Josie J. Jett vs. Lila Gila A nice little match that went a little long, with Jett able to overcome Gila's usual eccentricites and a spin back side kick that sent her over the top rope to get a big win off a Thesz Press following a series of leapfrogs. Four Way Fracas Super Komodo vs. Humberto Ortega vs. Astro Traveler vs. Emerald Santiago A solid bout with Santiago diving to the outside at one point, Komodo landing repeated Komodo Crushers and Astro Traveler aggressively looking for the quick pin. Humberto Ortega was his usual self as well, laid back and more interested in finding spots to chill out rather than to push the pace, which cost him in the end when he had a chance to break up a huracanrana pin by Traveler on Komodo, and took too long to attempt the break. --- Match of the Night: The Internationale vs. The D-Team -Close call between this one and O'Malley vs Moonsault, but the team bout had more on the line, and kept such a relentless pace for over thirty minutes that it felt as if it took place in half the time. Both teams should be proud of their showing in this one. Performer of the Night: Mr. Moonsault -The seven footer hasn't been consistent as of late, dropping an embarrassing one sided loss to Jean Pierre Mutombo and looking less of an ace by the month, but this should remind people why Moonsault is still seen as the face of Wacker Drive Revival, enduring a last second change in opponent and adjusting to a well-executed game plan admirably well.

The TIPWF comes roaring back to action with a big time main event to determine Lil' Lariato's next challenger for the TIPWF Lone Star Championship! --- TIPWF: Shoot for the ShotFriday, July 26 following ZIP Japan: Final Fight at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX Main Event - TIPWF Lone Star Title Eliminator Cowboy Johnston vs. Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro) vs. Adrien Lawton(AAW) vs. Valentina VerdaOne of the biggest matches in TIPWF history, with four enormously different competitors all challenging for a shot at the Lone Star title. Cowboy Johnston has demonstrated a return to form as of late, and has held past wins over fellow competitor Lawton and champ Lariato. Doc Wyatt arrives here following a successful defense of his title in Warrior Pro and is a former Lone Star champ with a dominant victory over Johnston to his record. Lawton, a former champ in AAW, has worked in the TIPWF to regain his momentum and has all the tools to do so. Finally, Verda, one part of the Exotico World Order trio, may fool fans with flashy antics, but is one of the most adept technical wrestlers in the Office, and may well be a spoiler in this one. Lil' Lariato vs. Roland Chang Jr.A non title bout between the TIPWF Lone Star champ and the Chang Family's loudest mouth. One can presume that while Lariato may view this as a tune up, he will have to be wary of Chang Junior's tricky ways. And if nothing else, the pre-show promos between the two might even outdo the match itself. Big Bubba Bob vs. "Wild" Wes Wrangler(Wrestle Parade)Two rugged roughnecks look to do battle in this one, with Wes Wrangler hopping over from Phoenix Rising to fight the Blue Collar Brawler's master of the bearhug, Triple B, Big Bubba Bob. Cassandra Marshall(Phoenix Rising) vs. La AxolotlCassandra Marshall has been looking for targets to steamroll as of late, and it appears that La Axolotl is next in her sights. The TIPWF/OASIS prospect may give Marshall more than she expected, if taken lightly, her hybrid Lucha Libre and Thiago Gracie BJJ training giving opponents a unique challenge. The Neon Knights(Supernaut and Holy Diver) vs. Misterio Guerrero and Jimmy Jack WalkerThe Knights seek a return to the top of the Office Team Rankings, but will have to be on top of their game to turn back the power and agility of Guerrero and the unorthodox inebriated ways of Walker. If everyone is up for it, this could well steal the show. Roland Chang III vs. "Long Haul" Lenny BroadwayTwo straight forward powerhouses meet in this one, with Chang III seeking a chance to raise his stock in singles action against the veteran Broadway. If nothing else, this will be a good measuring test for the Chang Family's rising prospect, a strong showing here demonstrating that his potential may finally be solidifying. Hija de Holy Diver vs. Rodeo AngelTwo of the more exciting luchadoras in the entire Office meet here, with a match that should deliver and then some. Hija de Holy Diver has proven her mettle with her father's Neon Knights, holding TIPWF Trios gold for a while, as Rodeo Angel is one of the most widely booked members of the Office roster, consistently putting on solid showings around the Critical Alliance. Newfie George(ZIP Japan) vs. Duke CogburnThe Newfoundland itinerant fisherman and the head of the Cogburn Ranch meet in this TIPWF Old Guard division match, and the winner will more likely than not face Wataru Nakajima in the future for the Old Guard Championship. George's Kiss the Cod lariats and Cogburn's Badman Sleepers will likely be the deciding factors in this one.

Some major happenings and news from around the Office: -The Pan African Tour will continue as scheduled by early-mid August, with a planned repeat visit of Kinshasa still planned, in spite of the Ebola threat in the eastern part of the DR Congo. The audience will be offered free screening and donations for Doctors Without Borders will be encouraged. (On a real note, I fully recommend supporting Doctors Without Borders, they do good work and don't waste their donation funds. The Ebola threat in Congo is serious and has been extraordinarily difficult to control, especially considering the lawlessness, chaos and violence of the eastern region bordering Rwanda and Uganda.) -The Senatorial Office and the PEWA are planning an event around late October, looking to open invitations to wrestlers with a horror theme. PEWA: The Horror of Hardcore is said to potentially set every match inside an electrified barbed wire ring. -ZIP Japan talent is set to gain more work in the Office in upcoming months, as the venerable Yokohama based fed looks to initiate a sabbatical period. While Thunder Fist has been a confirmed member of the Pan African Tour, and both Wataru Nakajima and Newfie George have frequently been booked in the TIWPF, it appears that Wacker Drive Revival is looking into signing a set of ZIP wrestlers to function as a team, and Lightning Pro is almost certain to bring more guests onto their next tour. -Rumors have it that Thiago Gracie is likely close to returning to action in UCSS, and is ready to seek his rematch against Gang Wong for the UCSS Openweight title. Gracie, after losing his title to Wong, has taken a long break from the fed, focusing back on running his Thiago Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym and notably assisted in Ruthless Nicole Alger's recent career evolution. -Felix Santana Sr. has been increasingly vocal in his frustrations with Colossus Rhodes holding the Dominican Golden Championship, and has stated that he will consider placing the giant in handicap matches for the title, with the winners facing each other to determine Rhodes's successor if they topple him. -On the other end of the spectrum, Young Blood has shown such disdain for his challengers in the PEWA that he is willing to defend his title in a timed entry gauntlet elimination bout, stating that "none of these f---ing losers can offer any challenge to me," in an interview with "Digital" Dave Doolittle that can be found on the Premium Insider side of our site. -G.P. Christopher has said that if he does not get a title shot on the next tour against the Black Dragon for the Victorious Medal in the "Preliminary Main Event" slot, that he will consider asking Lightning Pro for a release, stating that "there's plenty of feds out there that could use my talent." L-Pro Chairman, Shima Ito has been increasingly irritated with Christopher, as well as with the Outlaw, Sam Hall, and gave a harsh statement to the press stating that (in Japanese) "<Lightning Pro has always given proper chances to gaijin, but when they want more and more, and make demands instead of taking the chances they earn, they make me rethink our policy! G.P. Christopher is very popular, and that is the only reason I don't send him back to America now! Same with Sam Hall! Come here, earn respect, gain your spot, stop trying to force it!" --- Midas Matthews Does Not Regret AnythingBy Kevin "The Internet" Anderson Morgan "Midas" Matthews has been many things in his life. A tv studio worker, an advertizing executive, a theater chain manager, a media mogul, a wrestling promotor, there have been many roles Midas has played, but one he will not accept, is that of a failure. I spoke briefly with the Golden Man recently, and exclusive to World Wrestling Daily Digest, here's a transcript: Kevin Anderson: Hello, Mr. Matthews, we've spoken before, and I'm glad you're willing to do so again. Morgan "Midas" Matthews: Yes, Kevin, as I remember, you are not always an easy one to speak with, but you are relentless in your pursuit for the truth. So I figured I'd talk to you to clear a few things up for the wrestling world. Kevin: So, let's get down to this quickly, as I know your time is much more valuable than mine. Mr. Matthews, you certainly did not leave professional wrestling on a high note. But I understand you do not consider your time spent to be a failure. Midas: Yes, that is true. Senator Steve Phillips and I had...professional disagreements, to put it mildly. He and I did not see eye to eye. In fact, I think his lack of vision has and will continue to harm his endeavors. But that is not what I am here to talk about. Let's look at his Office when I arrived, when he brought me in to invest in his brand. At that time, his Office was running small shows in a gym with practically no paid audience, and was using his brand to promote wrestlers to other promotions. By the time I was forced out, his Office encompassed seven organizations across four continents. It grew in a big way! And that was due to my vision and my investment. I saw the bigger picture, I saw what could be done. Kevin: And yet, you were forced out. Midas: What happened, was that I was out maneuvered by a career politician when I was on the precipice of taking his Office to the next level. But perhaps that was for the best. Kevin: And what do you mean by that? Midas: What I mean, is that while I had most of what I needed with his Office, with the talent, with the connections, with the expanded venue I put money into that Universal Combat Shoot Style now uses, I was so close that I let it distract me away from all the problems that stood in the way. The selfish promoters unwilling to sacrifice anything for growth and profit, Phillips and his cronies up on top blocking what was necessary. Now that I've been forced to take a step back, I see that, very clearly. And with my readjusted perspective, I see that I'm far from done with this game. Kevin: Does that mean you're going to try to step back into the Office? Midas: You know what, it's always best to leave a bit of mystery out there, build the rumors, the anticipation. That's good business. And I'll leave you with that. Just know this; Morgan Matthews is far from done with professional wrestling. And that was that for the interview, a brief one, but an intriguing one to say the least. Does Midas have some plan to conquer the Office? Or is he looking to go off in another direction? What we do know is that he still owns partial contracts for any former member of his Golden Touch Promotions roster, as long as he allows the Office to take precedence with them. The likes of Crusher Honda, once she heals up, Young Blood and Colossus Rhodes could anchor any brand. We also know that he lost his investments that he sunk into the Office, could he be trying to take them back somehow? We'll just have to wait and see.

And despite everyone knowing this was a bad idea, the TIPWF put an unfiltered Roland Chang Jr. in a press room with Lil' Lariato. Read the transcript at your own risk.
---
Roland Chang Junior: Now I got myself a big stinkin', reekin', festerin', pesterin', problem right now with Commish Callihan! He gives me the match he knows I deserve, but damnit, why the hell am I facing the Lone Star champ in a match that's not for the freakin' Lone Star title? Now I gotta go out here against you, Lariato, and instead of tryin' to win, I gotta prove a point! A real strong point! And if there's a way I prove a point, it's by making people hurt! Hurting them real bad!
Lil' Lariato: Now maybe you gotta feel the chill Cause you talkin' like you're lookin' to kill Homicide just don't abide I'll confide, it's spoiled pride You're always the maid, and never the bride No mansion for you, just double wide
Chang Junior: Oh, we're doing the rapping thing here! Well, you know what, I can do that too!
Lariato: Please don't. For your sake, and for my sanity.
Chang Junior: Nobody tells me what I can't do and succeeds! So here goes!
Lariato: Oh noes.
Chang Junior: I got a match tonight! Yeah! I'm gonna kick some ass! Yeah! Lariato is a chump! Chump! I'm gonna break him down into a stump! Eat it!
Lariato: Eat it?
Chang Junior: I'll show you out there what's going down! That's your neck when I clamp on the Wrangler Lock and I make you tap like a little bitch!
Lariato: Maybe your choice in words is ill-advised You speak things out that aren't analyzed You think you're a badass, a mighty big feller But I'm not the bitch, you're just another Ol' Yeller Better stop playing the clown before I put you down Headed for a hospital stay, not a night on the town You better run, your time's done No more fun, but I've just begun You stepped into the way of my flow You're going where no man should go You crossed the path of Lariato

RESULTS TIPWF: Shoot for the Shot Friday, July 26 following ZIP Japan: Final Fight at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX Main Event - TIPWF Lone Star Title Eliminator Cowboy Johnston vs. Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro) vs. Adrien Lawton(AAW) vs. Valentina Verda Cowboy Johnston is back. After so many inconsistent performaces, the "Old Cowboy" showed up in a big way in this one. That wasn't the only story here, by any means, with Doc Wyatt and Adrien Lawton engaging in an endless duel, a surprising rollup elimination on Valentina Verda by Lawton, who also pinned Wyatt before running into a determined Cowboy, who tapped him out with the Borderline Breaker. Lil' Lariato vs. Roland Chang Jr. After the trash talk, these two actually did deliver on an outright battle in this match, with Roland Junior pushing Lariato to the limit and coming forward like a Terminator. Just when it seemed nothing would stop Chang, a Brainbuster-standing moonsault combination was able to do the job, but Lariato was clearly impressed with his stubborn foe, and promised after the match that he would grant him a title shot if he could make it past his next foe. Big Bubba Bob vs. "Wild" Wes Wrangler(Wrestle Parade) Big Bubba Bob was forced to wear his ugly yellow shirt(nicknamed "Big Lemon") to protect Wes Wrangler from his stench and sweat. That said, Bubba Bob was a force in this one, shruging off everything thrown at him and landing a Triple B Buster Canadian Facebuster slam for the win. Cassandra Marshall(Phoenix Rising) vs. La Axolotl Marshall showed up to do damage, and damage she did inflict, running through La Axolotl and putting her down with a ferocious wheelbarrow driver, knocking the young luchadora straight out. The Neon Knights(Supernaut and Holy Diver) vs. Misterio Guerrero and Jimmy Jack Walker A wacky, chaotic match between two well matched teams, but the Knights once again proved their quality with Holy Diver catching Guerrero with a huracanrana and Supernaut executed perfectly in keeping Jimmy Jack Walker away from the pinfall. Roland Chang III vs. "Long Haul" Lenny Broadway The youngest Roland Chang was never quite able to build any real momentum in this one, and while often overlooked, Long Haul Lenny Broadway proved that he's a formidible force with a big Long Haul Powerslam for the win. Hija de Holy Diver vs. Rodeo Angel A hard fought, fast paced bout, with Hija de Holy Diver showing impressive toughness, but the skill of Rodeo Angel was just too much, winning off a flash cradle victory. Newfie George(ZIP Japan) vs. Duke Cogburn A solid brawl to open things up, with Cogburn threatening the Badman Sleeper muliple times, but Newfie George proved that he's a force of nature, landing a big Fisherman Brainbuster for the victory. --- Match of the Night: Lil Lariato vs Roland Chang Jr. -An easy call, with these two laying it all on the line in a non-title bout. Very impressive match and one of the better Office matches of the year. Performer of the Night: Cowboy Johnston -Another easy call, with Cowboy going through three tough foes to become the next #1 contender for the Lone Star title in what promises to be another great match against his good friend, Lariato. --- Injury Report La Axolotl: Mild Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) -After taking a brutal Wheelbarrow Driver from Cassandra Marshall, it was obvious that Axolotl was done for the night. Although Axolotl quickly recovered backstage, the doctors will keep her out of Office action for two months, but it remains to be seen if she will try to sneak in action in OASIS, out of the Office's grasp.
