That looks really fun to play! I like the chef that turned the guy into a steamed bun π I also enjoyed the chef character, with those crazy attacks he looks like he escaped from a guilty gear game or something! Isnβt there at least one character in KoF who is always pounding pre match steamed buns? He and that chef would make a good combo! Update: this guy! Sie Kensou's reaction to being steamed in a bun:

friggin Kensou lol
but yeah, that game does have some interesting looking characters (I like how it ended with an Izuna drop lol)
don't think I've actually paid attention to the series before
apparently the original game released in NA on PS3 and PS4 and was published by Arc Systems Works
might have to track that down

I have the original PS3 one, but not the second one. The series is awesome for letting you choose whether you want to run or dash, and I think two or three additional special moves in addition to the preset specials each character already has. It actually had me thinking more fighting games should pick up these types of options from here.

Some sad news to report, with both Examu and FK Digital each announcing they've suspended operations. This is especially upsetting for FK Digital, since they'll be cancelling Chaos Code: New Episode of Xtreme Tempest.
Examu, established in 2007, actually go as far back as 2005 with the original Arcana Heart. The company is best known for the Arcana Heart series, along with visual novel crossover fighters Aquapazza and Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel. It's important to note that Team Arcana, the development team behind the fighting games at Examu, will still be active, but as an independent company now.
FK Digital's case is far more depressing. The company has made the decision to stop development of any new titles on March 31st.

Tamaki makes her Dead or Alive fighting debut as the next DLC character in DOA6. The fashion designer was originally from Dead or Alive Extreme: Venus Vacation.
Here's the official trailer for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, which'll come out on the 28th:

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for Haohmaru to be released for SCVI. Can't wait to see how he plays compared to Mitsurugi, who I don't really like in this particular installment of the game.

Haohmaru finally releasing on 3/31. Also get a Nakoruru costume (including a Mamahaha accessory) with him.
I heard that the director sent a tweet a day or two ago alluding to some "coming news."
This is most certainly welcome and (imo, a bit overdue) but I shudder to think how long it will take until we even get a clue about who the next character will be, never mind when they'll actually be released.
