Leroy is cool looking at least. I saw a few moves that other characters already have but with so many, I suppose that sort of animation overlap is inevitable. He's definitely the most interesting of the upcoming characters to me.
Ganryu is......Ganryu. I've never been a fan but he's a classic and I'm sure he has his following. His trailer was at least pretty amusing which I guess is his entire point in the series (nothing wrong with that at all, but he's no Dan Hibiki)
Fhqwhgads is frankly disgusting looking AND he's yet another Bruce Irvin replacement. That's what, the third one? (Bryan Fury in T3, Josie in vanilla T7, and now this guy in T7S3). It's hard to call out his ridiculous appearance given that he's in a cast that includes a robot, a cyborg ninja, TWO fighting bears (with the same fucking moveset, no less >_<), and whatever the hell Gigas is supposed to be yet here I am. He looks like he was created by the guy who made Baki the Grappler and while the fights in that series are dope, the characters are utterly grotesque given their unusual proportions, hypermusculature, and tendency to have veins bulging out of every bit of their bodies. I don't think we really needed any more of that in Tekken than there already is. Oh well. At least his stage looks pretty cool, what with it having TWO breakable sections.

Trying to find information on Injustice 2, specifically their 'Battle Simulator' and 'Tournament' modes. What are they exactly, and how do they 'play', I guess is what I'm asking to anyone who may own that game here. Somehow internet searches have come up empty on that specific info.

Season 5 of Street Fighter V is underway with Gill's release and the game itself getting rebalanced, transitioning from Arcade Edition to Champion Edition. First and foremost, though:

Not a lot of input so far for Granblue Fantasy: Versus, but at Granblue Fantasy Fes this past weekend, they'll already have a first wave of DLC characters, including fan-favorites Djeeta and Narmaya:
And lastly, for the bizarre, Fight of Animals. From the same guys who did Fight of Gods, their most recent trailer shows off Walking Cat, Magic Squirrel and Crowrilla, joining the likes of Power Hook Dog, Muscle Beluga and Mighty Fox:

A Nintendo eshop preorder leak suggests the Samurai Showdown Neo Geo Collection release date is February 25th. It will also be playable at the Japanese EVO at the end of January.

That sounds awesome! 😎 I miss playing MK1 and 2 a lot, especially competitively. MK1 is right up there as one of my all time favorites to play in the arcade and MK2 was one of my favorite console games.

^Sogetsu was accidentally revealed after his brother's release a few months ago and Mina was all-but confirmed due to another gaffe so they're not really surprising. I think Iroha was pretty unsurprising too since she's popular (gee, I wonder why) and she'd led a couple of different polls released by SNK last year.
I'll be curious to see who the 4th character is. Wouldn't be surprised if Amakusa makes a return but I want Sieger, dammit!

Isn’t there at least one character in KoF who is always pounding pre match steamed buns? He and that chef would make a good combo! Update: this guy!  |
