What a difference a year makes. And at least one other iffy idea went boom due to everything else going on.

I don't think I can look at Joey Ryan nor Being The Elite nor All Elite Wrestling the same way ever again after what I've been reading outside this forum.

I don't think I can look at Joey Ryan nor Being The Elite nor All Elite Wrestling the same way ever again after what I've been reading outside this forum. And WWE NXT UK too. Some of the things I've read have been terrible to read. As a man with two daughters, a lot of it brought a tear to my eye. The British Wrestling scene needs a good clean up, from top to bottom.

Going through some shit. Will elaborate later. Too frustrated to articulate.

Sorry to hear that, man. I hope that things get better soon 😎
I seem to have stepped into an unreasonably busy and messy week myself.

Ok, I think I can summarize now. The long and short of it is that I will probably have to figure out where and how to move by the end of this next month.
Remember in May when I said the current owner of my rental house was selling? I got it as clean as I could (it needed more work but was at least a major step up) and the prospective buyer did his visit.
He told me when he visited that he was going to keep the house with us as tenants. He told the now-former owner the same thing all through negotiations and even on closing day.
Not even a week after closing, he tells me he never intended to keep the house and is going to start showing it to his own prospective buyers immediately, as early as the next day.
After a few days of showing his house for him (while foregoing the sleep I needed for my real job) and literally not having time to do any further cleaning, he basically tells me he'll probably have to go ahead and ask us to move out so he can better fix the place.
From what he's shown me so far, even if my house was immaculate, he'd probably just make up some other excuse to get us out of there.
This is hardly the first time someone else's greed has screwed up my life, though. There's a reason my main antagonist has "rich greedy asshole" as his defining character trait, after all.
In truth, we've needed out for a while since we were paying an outrageous amount for a house that was falling down around us, but we would've preferred to do it on our own terms.
(There's always more to the story, of course, but that's the main idea.)

Ugh, that really sucks.
That seems to be the case.
So you have until the end of July to move out? In the middle of the summer? Ugh. I hope it's not a really hot July and that you guys can get out of there as comfortably and healthy as possible.
Very sorry to hear about this. But it's good you are looking at the bright side that you want out anyway. I get it though, it's better to do it on your own terms and when you are ready. And it is extra insult to injury that you had to lose out on sleep just to show a place that you are about to get thrown out of.

He hasn't formally filed anything but yeah, he's given me enough indication that he will probably want me out by the end of July since I've already paid for that month's rent.
According to a friend of ours, this may end up giving us until the end of August instead to move depending on when he gets his 30-day orders notarized but I feel like this guy will aim for sooner than later.
I dunno. I am not a lawyer, and I bet this guy's counting on that.
Either way I'm probably going to have to move during the summer, during a pandemic, and the process is going to suck.
I'm usually able to see multiple sides of an issue so like, yeah, ideally I never should've let the house get in this shape. Still, when you're working all the time while also having to care for a mother whose back went out on her in 2015 (hence why she couldn't help), and in a house with no AC in a state that's too hot to do anything most of the year, things will lapse.
Especially when you're going through depressive episodes. I mean... *gestures broadly at everything*
That said, while the cleanliness is on me, there was nothing we could do about everything that was breaking with age for a few reasons. We got stuck with a bad lease, basically.
Still, the optimist in me is thinking it might be nice to live somewhere that not only suits our needs better but is more affordable to boot.
If I wanted to, I could look at it as the universe presenting me with a chance at a new place to live for my birthday (July 25) but I'm also still a little pissed over the way this happened.
I want the 20s to be a better decade after all the stress I endured in the 10s but it's not off to a good start. That said, I've felt with previous decades like the new decade's energy doesn't hit until the year ending in 1 (2001 was particularly big for me) so there's hope.
Which is probably why 2020 feels like a magnified version of the trouble I had in the 10s.

That would be much better. An entire extra month would really help you find a new place and prepare for the move. That's probably the best, but hardest, way to look at it when the sting is still fresh. It's the right thought but it's too hard right now to shake the anger, frustration, and concern about what you have to do now in order to really live that optimistic viewpoint. I think you'll feel that more in hindsight though once you move and get a better place. And then you don't just think, but you feel that even though you were clearly treated unfairly here, you still made the most of an opportunity to make your overall situation better. It just sucks how it happened. You wanted it to be on your terms, and with more notice. There's definitely hope, especially when you find a new and better place to live as a result of all of this 😎

Both decades couldn't have been any more different, but also couldn't have been any more awesome. :P

Great, PSN's 2 step verification apparently doesn't work with iphones.

One of the realtors I showed today confirmed a suspicion. The company my house's current owner represents has a reputation for being crooked.

Ugh, that really sucks!! I'm very sorry to hear that. It's not good news at all but it's better you find out now that you have to be out rather than be told in a few weeks that same thing (even though they knew that anyway). At least you know that you have to act quick rather than not knowing and still needing to act quick.

I have received some encouraging news since this morning and also am getting a feeling I shouldn't say any more until the dust settles. You know, just in case they discover me talking about it on a message board for a niche wrestling game.
That said, keep me in your thoughts on this and I'll fill everyone in afterwards.
