I'm running the latest version of FPWW with no mods installed. Recently the game started freezing for about a second at multiple times during a match. I've been playing FPWW since the early release in July of 2017. I have a Windows 10 machine with 16GB of ram. My C drive is a SSD and my AMD processor can easily handle the demands of FPWW. While these brief pauses aren't game breaking, they are annoying. I would like to put an end to them ASAP, as Fire Pro Wrestling World is my favorite game and I am hoping to spend countless hours playing with Fire Promoter. Thank you!

Was there a recent update lately?
Maybe install the latest video drivers?
I'm not really sure on this, but I've read some people have defragmented their drives and it fixes things.
Fire Pro World is weird as shit for some reason.
I haven't noticed these issues personally, so I can't be of much more help.

Sounds silly, but reboot.
I have a pretty solid computer and the game gets laggy and weird sometimes. No other game has this problem, mind you. I can be running Battlefield V on pretty high settings at 1440p just fine, but Fire Pro will become a sluggish mess and require a restart.

Are you using any mp3s as background music during matches? If so, try a match with a default track playing instead and confirm whether or not its still doing the minifreezes. I used to have constant hiccups during matches until I switched to all WAV files for background music.

It freezes in both cases :( with custom mp3 track or without any background music.

Which mods are you using? Does it do it with zero mods installed?

I'm having an issue where movesets change mid-match for front grapples. Probably because of the latest patch, but I go from my set moves to elbow butts for days.
Really weird. I think I'm gonna uninstall the mod pack for now and see if that works.
EDIT: It was most likely the mod pack after a few sims and uninstalling. I'll wait for another patch.

That sounds like something the weight detection mod would do if it went off the rails and thought everyone was too heavy for everything. Most of the default replacement moves are elbow butts, and it's specifically designed do be able to swap moves in mid-match.

I don't even have weight detection installed. I'm also having matches freeze 2 minutes into them after reinstalling mods. Maybe when an Irish Whip is attempted?
Not sure, but it's damn frustrating.
EDIT: Confirmed it's during Irish Whips with the mod pack on.

Do you have the latest test version? That was an issue in an older version thats been since fixed (you can also turn on movelists to fix it).

I do have the test version and it was working for a while though the whips were still bonked.
Turned it on today with mods and the whips made the match freeze (I could still access the start menu though)
I've since uninstalled it and I'm just going to wait for a new version.

I used to have constant hiccups during matches until I switched to all WAV files for background music. I had FPWW's BGM set to the Pro Wrestling (NES) in-match music (MP3). Tonight, I switched the background music to one of the built-in tracks. This resolved the issue. I never would have guessed MP3 tracks would cause the minifreezes. I assume it happens every time a track has to loop back to the beginning. I have the in-match BGM volume set to 0, as I usually listen to podcasts (PWTorch.com VIP) while playing FPWW. Thanks for the tip.

My CPU is similar to yours, bought it last summer and it came installed with 8 GB of RAM. I bought another 8 GB online, and in the interim waiting for it to arrive, I found that only 8 GB was not enough to run my video capture software and the game without serious slowdown/freezing issues, particularly with mods running. The only time I've experienced something similar to what you described is when I've simmed Royal Rumble/Aztec Warfare matches. You can tell things slow down for a moment as the CPU makes sense of it all.

I know when I first had the problem and someone suggested ditching mp3s I thought it was a silly suggestion, no way are mp3s making the whole game hitch up like that. But alas, just another strange quirk of Fire Pro!
