Hi all. One thing I'm noticing is that my edits almost never go outside the ring. They might get tossed on accident and go back in at 1.
I read somewhere on here it is linked to Showmanship and/or Discretion but the logic guide isn't super clear on that.
I understand that having body slams and brainbusters can help get edits thrown outside, and I am sure most of my edits have that in their moveset.
Any tips on how to get edits to consistently go outside the ring more?

Lower discretion, lower the return to ring stat, and make sure that the outside logic is set to 0% for "do nothing"
If an edit has high discretion they're more likely to use a ring out to catch their breath instead of following someone outside (either through leaving or diving).

Thanks. How low for Discretion? Under 33%?

You'll have to play around with it, but for me the biggest thing is setting the outside logic to 0% do nothing. I have edits with discretion in the 70% range that will still go outside. But if you're really pushing to get dives or just a ton of outside brawling, I'd start at below 50% at least, and flyers I'd set around 30%.

I'm not home so I can't check, but I have a feeling my edits have around 40% discretion and all have the "do nothing" % in opp. outside ring at 5% at the most, and they still never, ever go outside.

Make sure that you have actual 'Go Outisde' %s set.
If the edit is 100% Chance to Dive, they'll just chill in the ring if the dive wont connect.

I think my Minoru Suzuki edit is 95% go outside and 5% do nothing, since he brawls outside the ring every single match. I just can't get him out there in the first place...

1. Easiest way is install Carzilla’s Modpack, which includes Throw Out Logic. You can set each wrestler a percentage (the percentage is based on the number of Irish Whips).
2. Lowering discretion moves action closer to the ropes. So combined with, say, a throwing suplex move, wrestlers go out more.
BUT I like #1, because they literally throw them out of the ring.

Outside Return Count.

Lower the outside return count and increase the likelihood that, when an opponent is tossed outside, they use "Go Outside" instead of "Do Nothing" or a dive.
To get them to toss each other out in the first place and create that situation -- this also helps with baiting outside dives, too! -- try and include a move in the (BIG) front or back grapple category that will ring out an opponent. These are mainly going to be the moves in the brainbuster category (minus the Snap Suplex and Razor Snap Suplex, primarily), as well as releasing moves. Since moves in (BIG) will almost always result in an opponent standing up in a dazed state, this will grant a much higher likelihood of getting topes and planchas, as well as giving a wrestler ample opportunity to pursue their opponent outside otherwise. This also, incidentally, helps tremendously in priority setups for top rope moves to standing opponents, like the High Fly Attack, Dragon Rana, Deep Impact, etc. etc. etc.
