How the game works out leagues?

So I was simming a mini league (2 blocks of 5 with 1 finalist from each block meeting in an actual final..

Block A worked itself out fine but Block B troubled me.

The block consisted of:
Kitamura
Nagata
Honma
Makabe
Zack Sabre jr

Makabe finished in last with 0 points
Zack Sabre jr in 4th with 4 points below Honma in 3rd also with 4 points despite Zsj beating Honma in their match.

Shouldn't Zack Sabre jr be above Honma in that case

Both Nagata & Kitamura had 6 points with Kitamura winning their match so in my head Kitamura wins because of head to head rules yet the game set up a mini league between these two with them having one rematch which Kitamura won & advanced to the finals.

So does anyone know how this game works out the leagues & who places where in events of ties & does the game at all factor in head to head records?

I've never encountered such a scenario however I do remember this was something Director Matsumoto did talk about in an interview. It was with DDT wrestler Danshoku Dino leading up to the PS4 release. When the second development team took over, they apparently noticed a bunch of QoL issues and Matsumoto specifcally mentioned League points not properly calculating in the event of ties.

I assumed that this would have been fixed by now...you're on the latest version I assume? We're now on our *third* development team so who knows.

Yes, fully updated.

Happened again when I retested it. Zack Sabre jr tied with Nagata on 6 points with Nagata besting Zsj in their match yet it set up another 2 person league between Zack Sabre jr & Nagata in which Nagata won again to go to the final.

Hopefully something that will be fixed eventually :)

Yeah ties lead to another round of tie breaker matches between all the tied participants. This has been the case going back to at least fire pro A for gba I believe.

I had a 3 way draw once that worked itself out in my ironman tournament. Ill find the video
