Tomi: <Hello, ZIP JAPAN fans! Today is a very special occasion. Not only is it my first one-on-one interview since the return of ZIP JAPAN to the airwaves, it is also the first time I'll be conducting an interview in English. It's been a little while, so if my English is terrible, please forgive me!>
*Tomi gives a little bow to the camera and turns to her left, and the camera pulls back to reveal the hulking figure of Donnie Doogan standing next to her, his ZIP JAPAN Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist. As Tomi switches to English, her words are translated into kanji at the bottom of the screen. Her English is halting and heavily accented, but understandable*
Tomi: Welcome Mr Doogan-san. Thank you for doing this interview with me today. (she bows to Doogan)
Donnie: (surprised) Whoa! Little Tomi learned English?
Tomi: Hai...I mean, yes. Reiko says from now on I need to speak English for interviews with baka-gaijin who do not speak Japanese. I learned in school but I have not used it for a while.
Donnie: (oblivious to her insult) Right on, little lady, you go right ahead!
Tomi: Thank you. Mr. Doogan-san, you had big success in Z-1 Climax tournament this fall. Any comments?
Donnie: Yeah, I was kinda pissed when Reiko invited a bunch of outsiders to ZIP JAPAN to get a shot at the Heavyweight Champ. Last thing I need is some random chump getting ahead of me in line, so I figured it was time to remind everyone just how much of a beast I can be. There was some tough competition in that group, but I smashed the hell out of everyone, no problemo. And naturally, I kept that momentum going and steamrolled right on through that pretender Daisuke Shimura. That's why I'm holding the big gold belt.
*Doogan grins and pats the belt covering his abdomen.*
Tomi: Yes. So next Friday at the ZIP JAPAN Reborn show, you are defending the belt for the first time against Maki Yoshida. What are your thoughts on this upcoming match?
Donnie: Well, Tomi, lemme give ya a little history lesson here...
Tomi: (barely containing her laughter) History lesson? You?
Donnie: Damn straight. You might not remember, but last time I was Heavyweight Champ in the spring of 2017, I lost my belt to Takeshi Kiriyama. I'll admit I kinda wrote him off as "just a tag team guy", and thought I'd beat him easy. It's a mistake I won't make this time against Yoshida. I'm not taking any chances in this match, I've been training hard and I'm in the best shape of my career, and just in case that midget Jin Matsuda decides to get involved on behalf of his partner, I'm gonna have a little insurance policy of my own at ringside.
Tomi: Oh? Insurance?
Donnie: Yep. Tomi, say hello to my baby brother, Dougie Doogan!
*the camera pulls back a little further as Dougie steps in on Tomi's right, leaving her looking tiny, flanked by two huge tanned guys. Dougie is slightly shorter and stockier than Donnie, but his huge barrel chest and thick arms leave no doubt as to his physical power. His hair is pulled back in a ponytail, and he shares Donnie's love of wearing sunglasses indoors, his mirrored shades reflecting the production crew as he peers into the camera*
Tomi: (surprised) Ah, hello!
Dougie Doogan: Listen up Japan, and listen up good! Next Friday when Donnie defends his title, I'm gonna be in his corner to make sure no funny stuff goes down! Last time he got screwed outta his belt, and that ain't happening again! Yoshida, you're in for a world of hurt! Donnie's gonna whip your ass from one end of Yokohama to the other! ZIP JAPAN IS ABOUT TO GET A DOUBLE DOSE OF THE DOOGAN BROS, SO YOU BETTER ALL BE READY! WE'RE GONNA RUN ROUGHSHOD OVER THIS WHOLE DAMN PROMOTION! YOU CLOWNS DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'RE IN F- OW!
*Dougie is cut off as Donnie reaches over and grabs his ear, twisting and beginning to drag him off the set*
Donnie: Awright kid, that's enough, I think they get it.
*Tomi switches back to Japanese as the Doogan Bros leave, Dougie muttering something unintelligible*
Tomi: <Well there you have it fans! Big news here as Donnie Doogan has announced that his brother Dougie will be in his corner next Friday! Don't miss ZIP JAPAN Reborn! Until next time, this is Tomi ZIP, signing off!>
*Tomi flashes a peace sign as the camera fades to black*

Oh man, I can't wait to see Dougie Doogan, Doogan Bros are going to dominate! the guy mentioned in the promo there, as if getting ZIP back wasn't good enough... |

Thanks Senator For the record guys, I sincerely hope everyone bought the NJPW DLC, because EVERY current ZIP JAPAN edit will require it once I update them after this show (no changes have been made to the legend edits). I considered uploading separate "DLC required" versions, but ultimately decided it was too much of a pain in the ass, and didn't want people to have to subscribe to over 40 new edits to keep their roster current, when the update feature for the Workshop already exists. Once the Reborn show has aired, I'm just going to update the existing edits. If you already have ZIP JAPAN edits on your save, you'll have the new versions automatically. The one exception to this is, of course, the one new edit joining ZIP JAPAN (read the above Promo Time with Tomi ZIP if you haven't already :P
If you want to continue using ZIP JAPAN edits, but don't have the NJPW DLC, you'll need to make copies of them before they get updated next Friday.

Well dammit I dunno what's going on with my ISP.
It seems like this has been happening more often than not recently. I can watch videos online, watch other people stream, even stream random FPW sims on my channel...but as soon as I start streaming ZIP JAPAN my internet dies a horrible death. Very annoying.
In any event, I'm gonna try again tomorrow night, Saturday Nov 3 at 9pm EST. See if it works any better. Apologies to everyone who came to see the show and got denied.
I'm gonna try and update all the ZIP edits tonight (if I can stay connected), that way if worse comes to worse tomorrow, maybe Senator can run the show on his channel lol

OK, it's official, the ZIP JAPAN edits have all been updated and Dougie Doogan has been added to the workshop/ZIP Collection.
Just a reminder that all ZIP JAPAN edits (not counting the legends) now require the NJPW DLC to work properly (and Psycho Witch requires the Takayama DLC).
