So would it now be possible for mods to someday be compatible with this version? I have yet to dip my toes into mods. The only two things I want is selecting players in tournaments (so I can control CPU every match) and basic subs not ending the match.

If you go on the discord, mods are now slowly making a comeback and you can pick up the 2.0 compatible dll from the mod pin...although I think it’s more to do with the announcement regarding new venues that triggered it Quite a bit of the old mod suite has been converted, including the free cam - I don’t use many of the mods so not sure if the one you want is included but it’s worth checking out

Honestly Ive always taken it as a given all the mod stuff will make its way to 2.0 despite whatever the modders says. If odds are this game will never get a sequel that means the community means will for decades put all their energy into this one and it would only mean eventually the stuff would get ported to 2.0. Odds are sooner than later. Hasnt even been 6 months and mods are begining to cross over

This is not a simple conversion, as 2.0 is vastly different from 1.02. There does seem to be some modding slowly rolling out, but looking at FireProPc, it’s still very rocky. Modders are having to virtually rewrite from scratch.

I’m not really that clued up on what was in the old mod suite - I don’t profess to be a expert as I mainly used it for free cam, arena textures and alphabetising, but firepropc is quite behind in terms of detail of what’s been built over the last few weeks - go to the critical club discord and look at the mod channel - it has a massive amount of conversation recently about conversion of mods to be 2.0 compatible - there are some things that will take time or can’t be done but a huge amount of work has been done over the last few weeks to bring features back. On the discord you will be able to download the new modpack.dll which to the best of my knowledge is not on firepropc yet. This is essentially the 2.0 modsuite and is being worked on as features are converted.

I just flipped over to the right discord and discovered how much I’ve missed!

No worries mate, there’s no way of knowing unless you looked in the right place, firepropc is pretty dead so it wasn’t advertised. Hope you enjoy them!

Carzilla’s definitely working on the mod suite, though it’s still in test mode as he continues adding mods. I honestly don’t need much to settle into 2.0. Only ones that enhance the in-ring action, like rest holds that won’t end the match (so you can have holds in critical stage). And I’d love to have managers in title matches and title defenses in any kind of match, though that would require Carzilla’a MOTW mod, which is probably far down on the list.
