So I don't remember seeing this plugged as a new feature, but I've noticed that Sunglasses now show up during the walk to the ring but are no longer there once the match starts.
A minor thing, but still a very cool addition in making the game more realistic.

Unless you have a Mr. Hughes edit.

Did a match between FENYANG and ZIP Japan's champ, Donnie Doogan, and can confirm that the glasses went nowhere for either of them during the match.

This doesn't happen for me. My Unicorn Party edit still has his shades during a match.

Sounds like (another) bug.
We Early Access now, boys!

Sounds like (another) bug. We Early Access now, boys! If it is I'm not exactly MAD about it. They still briefly show up for a frame or so depending on which direction they are facing

Try putting the glasses layers at the bottom of the list so that they show up on top of everything. The edits I have that use them have them there and I see them in almost every frame - The exception being when they're facing away.

I would actually prefer them being entrance only. It's not very practical wrestling in glasses unless you're a Dudley.

Oh please, let's rephrase that into "I would actually prefer having one attire slot for entrances". You have video games so you can do crazy impractical stuff (I say this as one of the most boring conservatve edit makers around). Having all these great costume parts in KoC2 being entrance only is painful enough.

I had a nerd wearing glasses in the ring. It can be done. It's fire pro wrestling, after all. I mean, we got bears, gorillas, derpzillas, aliens, monsters, game boys, invisible men, and anything else you can think of.
So if someone wants to make an edit wearing glasses in the ring, let him :)

Wrestling in and of itself is built on impracticality. And this is a video game - so if someone wants to have an edit wrestler in glasses, let em. :P
