locking your game when attempting to use them without warning. DLC puts a block over them. You cant even choose them to start a match, much less crash from using them. Well, that certainly helps.

This NJPW update annoys me. Right when I was ready to start putting dirt on the box, Spike Chunsoft comes along and is like, "Nope Nope Nope! Can't RIP just yet. Here's the NJPW update. And we're still working on Fire promoter and the Jr Pack and everything else. Keep hope alive!" I'd be more pumped if they gave us Fire Promoter along with the NJPW update (since Fire Promoter is what I was actually looking forward to), instead I just feel like all my plans for the next few months have been put in complete disarray.

Avenger3 is writing dlc in the name and also linking to the non-dlc version in his description - think that may be the only way going forward, is if the creators spend the time to write it all out for us.

I should note that you put that last post you made in the DLC delay thread like, maybe an hour before the game updated on Steam, haha. if you saw my response, then, sorry if I was overly harsh, at any rate. :V

So far other than minor things I love the update every mode is working fine for me. Only thing I haven’t gotten to check yet is the entrance music but everything else works fine. One thing I should point out and I’m sure some may have noticed this is to be careful with the new graphics on title screen and menus it gave me a headache too many moving parts that are they could have done without

hmmmm I'm using a PS4 controller and the update apparently has menu operation set to that pesky FPR style wherein X is the cancel/return button and O is the confirmation button. I don't understand, why would they change this? Is that something that I can mess around with for myself outside of the game? (it's been over a year since I installed the PS4 controller on my PC and I've only done it the once.....for FPW >_>) I still get X confirm and circle to cancel, using "PlayStation Configuration Support" in Steam's controller settings. If I disable it, it's the other way. Tried this but Steam wouldn't see my controller unless DS4Win was active. (If DS4Win is active when I run FPW it freezes for 45 seconds on startup & shut down so I disable it)

It did not come anywhere close to being overly harsh. I don't wanna be that guy; that's not why I joined this forum in the first place. The timing was just bad when it came to the game and other things going on in my life. My goal now is to put work in the project I was planning for months, and share it here. So hopefully I'll have more positive contributions to share here soon.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I didn't even know that was an option lol

Another thing I've just noticed, they changed the taunt buttons. It used to go clockwise UP = taunt 1, RIGHT = taunt 2 etc. but now it goes anti-clockwise. Again, not a big thing but just something curious.
EDIT: Also wanna say thanks to BrownDerby for the controller info, I used that and disabled 'Hide DS4 Controller' in DS4Win and now it all runs perfectly!

So all the new edit layers are awesome, and I really really mean that.
However like my friend Bombay sated to me all the DLC content is online only. So I test it out and all the NJPW roster is absent and Takayama.
I added Ishii's belt last night and while I can still access this edit in edit mode, I cannot access it in any matches. I really really hope this gets removed after awhile, I dont much like the idea of not actually owning what I paid for.
Look internet goes out, hell sometimes it goes out for 2 or 3 days. Still I paid the 19.99, I should have access to everything I paid for. Other games allow offline DLC usage, it's not some absurd request.

I'm more of an X button presser for confirmation as a Sony fan, so the O button to confirm is strange to me.
As a result, the mouse has been getting more work than the controller.

It's been on the PS4 since August 28th. Also, that controller settings was a lifesaver.

It's a When Worlds Collide scenario seeing the graphics I had grown accustomed to seeing on the PS4 version here on my desktop computer screen.
Hopefully it won't be too difficult for the Carlzilla Mod Suite to be configured for this update. It's not nearly as fun to sim without Free Cam view (for singles matches) and being able to disable rest hold submissions.
For what it's worth, the new update installed itself when I loaded the game just now. I have the Takayama DLC and it's still there, but I haven't purchased the NJPW DLC for the game just yet after hearing about some of the associated problems.
Fighting Road mode is tremendous fun, and PC players who haven't experienced it yet are in for a fun surprise.
