i read through the topic and some mention an always on "protection"(which i think is rly negative for any game, but thats a different story),does that apply to the steam offline mode as well when theres still a connection to the internet? or to people without internet only? Yes, unfortunately it also applies to the game as played in offline mode. that is sad,i share my acc with someone and play in offline mode 99% of the time. hope they rethink it cause thats a reason for me not to buy it,altough i like the game and NJPW a lot.

Can you start the game online then disconnect from the internet and keep your access for as long as the game is running ? I'm asking because 95% of my play time is away from home and with no access to internet... however if I can connect before I leave the house, close the lid of my laptop and then resume playing later ?

No, some users have already reported this as not being possible. Haven’t tried myself but I believe it requires a constant connection. If you go back to the early pages of this thread there’s posts confirming it isn’t possible

Constant connection confirmed. When I cut my wifi Takayama and anything with his move disappears or grays out after a minute or so. This did not happen in 1.02.

Off subject sorry, but I've noticed something off with Naito's logic. He has a Priority Complete shot into a Chinlock? That's not right is it? I figure it should be into either a Pin, or the most likely, a Complete Shot B into the Strangle Hold Alpha

It's definitely supposed to be Complete Shot B -> Strangle Hold Alpha, for something close to the Pluma Blanca.

Dunno if this has been discussed already but if you make any changes to the default NJPW stables (including Face/Neutral/Heel alignment), the name plate logo will disappear and revert to the default Fire Pro one. Not sure if this is a bug or another weord oversight but kind of a bummer that I can't make Bullet Club heel without losing a cool new entrance aspect.

I figure it should be into either a Pin, or the most likely, a Complete Shot B into the Strangle Hold Alpha It doesn't say the move in priorities, just the position and button. So it can't say Chin Lock. It would just say At Head Med, or At Head Strong.

The issue at hand is that Naito's moveset has the wrong Complete Shot, so he does the Face Up head move instead of the Face Down. So yes, Naito's logic has an actual mishap.

Yar, I know that, but the combo is Complete Shot into a Chin Lock which means there's a good chance default Naito will win a match with a Chin Lock

its a small thing and i know its been mentioned before but im annoyed that the entire njpw dlc doesnt have 4 outfits. even in the old games with 100+ size roster everyone had 4 outfits even if it was sometimes just a simple recolor. traditionally on the 4th attire is when an old outfit or ringside attire shirt would be worn. its not like it takes long to make edits. just make everyone wear a njpw lion mark shirt or appropriate faction t shirt and you are good. the game includes seconds as a match option so not having those outfits is a bummer. the fact its paid dlc makes it bug more.

This is weird, when the PS4 version came out, users were reporting you could add edits to the stables and they came out with the graphic included.. this could be a pc only thing and it would suck if it was - was hoping to flesh out a full bullet club etc

Man, they did a phenomenal job with the New Japan edits. The faces and attire look pretty spectacular! I've only simmed one match with them, but is it safe to assume that the NJPW edits have the typical Fire Pro default logic?
