Well he used to be just Der Kommisar in a (currently background-only) in-universe major promotion, where the gimmick came from (writers came up with the name, he never bothered to correct them, but would make fun of it in German to fans). He kept the gimmick while working under a different name to get around copyright while exploiting his TV notoriety. Also a Warhammer 40K reference (as is his main finisher, a backcracker called 'Coward's Death')

His stable is called Das Ringenkorps, which is basically Imperium with a military motif, except their powerhouse isn't their leader and there's an American. |

- Because of how I typically configure movesets & logic on most of my edits even back in Returns it was commonplace to see strikes being traded back-n-forth in my sims, long before there ever was a proper Strike Exchange mechanic. I suppose now they could be dubbed "Natural" Strike Exchanges or something silly like that. Either way, I got a decent extended one with some minor variation in between late during a bout.

Corey: "Well, schedule a conference with Kontos. I'll want to refresh him on tactics against people who bring in weapons."

- For Bishamon it's already vexing enough to be dragged to a 20+ minute bout by a "geezer" like Gen Hiwatari. Worse yet, this ol' man has the gall to outright mock him by feinting a dive out of the ring. It was a swift death if nothing else.
- Multi-man matches are known to breed strange bedfellows. A fact that's never really fazed BADBOY Suwabe much throughout his many years as a competitor. So long as someone is getting duffed (preferably someone else) most will find him quite agreeable. After today Mio J is well acquainted with both ends of that spectrum, and the ring.
- The transition into the Corner-To-Center Christo speaks for itself.
