I really like the Think Tanks by the way. Hilarious, awesome name π§ Sadly, I think I know the cause of their struggles. Ironic you would say that, given they're original home promotion was in turribles STRUGGLE...
Good show Zealot!

Results for Stellarvision 60 are now posted on the site. Thanks to those who attended. For those that did miss out, I have the show archived (something that I hope to do more going forward as long as Twitch plays nice with me) The next week or two I'll be doing some artwork and editing for the next show Aphelion. I hope to have a card up this weekend as soon as the poster art is done.

Really looking forward to the artwork! π¨
Huge win for Damon over Nobu. Wow π²
That sends a direct message from Sacrament to RYOMA too.
Alastair Anarion had a win here. Really like his new attire too!

The card for Aphelion is set. I still need to do a bit of editing and work on the ring setup, but I hope to do the shown sometime in the next 2 weeks. In the meantime, I may do a quick promo roundup in the next few days. Stay tuned.

That show poster is ominous and apocalyptic and completely awesome!! ππ²
Makes me think of "Black Hole Sun" from Soundgarden.
Also makes it seem like RYOMA is literally a solar powered robot π
I love the subtitles for some of the matches too:
Saji: "Whoa, where do I sign up?" π

A quick update. I'll be pushing this show to next week probably on Wednesday or Thursday. I have folks coming into town this weekend plus I feel for performance sake it's beneficial to do a check disk on the hard drive to shore up some slowness with the nearly 12 year old computer. Plus, it's Windows 7 so the scan will be a little bit longer.

Aphelion is in the books. Results are now up on the Galastream page. Definitely a lot of changes to the SUPER NOVA landscape. I'll be back on the Stellarvision route after this as we lead up to an ESTRELLA show. However, I will also be busy not only posting updated edits to the Workshop, but doing some maintenance on the Galastream website as well as the roster sections need a heavy update and I plan to redesign some of these belts and get some title histories on the site.

That main event π² That was f'n EPIC. One of the best matches, if not the best, that RYOMA has ever been involved in. And I think that has to go into Zealot's highlight reel as well, especially given how it capped off his recent character evolution. This is APEX level Zealot right now - he's right up there with the top Champions of the e-fed world.
The match was incredible with all of those near falls and both men shrugging off each other's offense.
Just out of a simmer's curiosity - I assume you used Neverending Spirit or Hardbody for Zealot to protect him against RYOMA"s big moves? Even then, it's still shocking the game let him shrug them off. Perhaps a mod?
I happen to love the finish given how both men were able to escape each other's known bigger moves.
The CHOP BRIGADE on RYOMA from Zealot was awesome cause of its brutality and mocking nature. RYOMA is such a big user of chops so to see him cut down to size was a huge message from Zealot.
The booking for this match, Sacrament's rise, and Zealot's title victory were great. Wish I could have seen this show live but really love how strong you brought Galastream back π
I'm going to have an RP up tonight in response π‘
Oh, and I LOVE Rousseau's new look and am ENRAGED that Liza Lupone's leg got BROKE'T!! πΏπ

RYOMA is joined by a special guest: *Two hours after APHELION, we see RYOMA leaving the arena and walking into the parking lot. He spots the Matsuki Holdings limousine and begins to approach. However, he stops in his tracks when he sees the man who is talking with Miss Asako Matsuki. The man sees him and takes a step back, anticipating this reaction.*
[Asako:] "HE HAS NO SAKE BUT HE MEANS NO HARM. HEAR HIM OUT!"
*Geese looks confused at the sake remark but nods at everything else.*
[RYOMA:] "It has been a long night."
[Geese:] "Then there is no harm in making it a little longer to get the full value out of it."
*Either convinced or too tired to argue, RYOMA lets out a sigh and nods his head. Miss Matsuki hands him a bottle of water and goes into the limousine as Geese gets into an aggressive talking stance.*
[Geese:] "I won't coddle you, even after what you've just been through. I have too much respect for you to sugarcoat this. Your brief SNGW Universal Championship title reign ended in disaster. Seeds have grown that can end your career if I do not shine the proper light on them for removal. This is a turning point. Whatever road forward that you choose is up to you, but what brought you to this point is not up for interpretation."
[RYOMA:] "There are few people who could talk to me that way and still get my attention. I am not convinced that you are one of them."
[Geese:] "Answer me this question to your satisfaction then. Why did Zealot beat you?"
*RYOMA takes a second to answer but that is a second too long for Geese.*
[Geese:] "Foolish. You mean to tell me that you took two hours after the match just absent-mindedly showering? No, you spent every second since losing your Title attempting to answer that question. If you had come to a satisfying answer, you wouldn't even be talking to me right now. But we both know you are at a loss for a rational explanation. At best, you are in the self-pity phase. Perhaps you have even bought into the propaganda fed to the Galastream from the Sacrament."
[RYOMA:] "Propaganda?"
[Geese:] "They said you lost the will to fight. Bull-"
*Geese slaps RYOMA hard across the face with a shotei*
[Geese:] "Shit."
*A rare look of anger appears on RYOMA's face and he goes to chop Geese across the chest. Geese immediately catches RYOMA's hand before any contact is made and lightly pushes him back against the limousine with a smile. RYOMA is shocked at Geese's defense but put strangely at ease by the smile in return.*
[Geese:] "Exactly. You remain the walking spirit of toukon. I suspect there is not one single match in your career where you lost due to possessing inadequate fighting spirit. That leaves one inescapable conclusion. You lost to Zealot because you were predictabo- *Geese coughs* that is, predictable."
[RYOMA:] "Even if Zealot knew my moves, I was still able to connect with them."
[Geese:] "Yes, but their impact can be reduced if they are planned for in advance. You have been doing your ECHO Lariat for five years, RYOMA. In that time, enough people have seen it, and been hit by it, to know how to optimally absorb it. As long as you can see it coming, even if dazed, there are still ways to mitigate the damage."
[RYOMA:] "Then what is your suggestion?"
[Geese:] "Zealot didn't beat you because you gave up. Rather, he surprised you by doing something unexpected. After he easily read and evaded your lariat attempt, he suddenly applied a submission rather than picking you up for more attempted humiliation. It's time that you consider a similar approach to your arsenal."
[RYOMA:] "I never try to humiliate my opponent."
[Geese:] "You are hearing the wrong lesson here. Focus. Professional wrestling isn't kendo - you do not need to announce your moves to your opponents in advance. And yet, everyone already knows what you are going to do. It's one of the reasons I defeated you a few years ago. I knew all of your moves since you had been doing them for years. However, you did not know any of the new ones I was using upon my return to the ring. Even if all else was equal, and it was not, I still had the clear advantage. Competition runs on "yomi" - the art of reading your opponent. Therefore, it is up to you to start doing things in that ring that they could not expect. You need to evolve to thrive and become even stronger."
[RYOMA:] "And this...this is why I lost? This is why my career is in danger?"
[Geese:] "Let me complete this. Your predictability is your ceiling but your lack of conviction is your falling floor."
[RYOMA:] "But you just said my fighting spirit is invincible!"
*Geese almost laughs but catches himself and turns serious again.*
[Geese:] "I'm not sure I used those exact words. But there is a difference between conviction and fighting spirit. Fighting spirit is not something one thinks about. It either exists in someone or it does not. But conviction requires belief that one's actions are righteous. That is why Zealot controlled the match and ultimately won. Your fighting spirit kept you in the match defensively but you weren't able to take control of the situation consistently and when it mattered most. You weren't able to forge a path to victory because you didn't know what that victory would represent. Therefore, you couldn't truly reach it with conviction. To Zealot, his victory was inevitable because it was necessary."
[RYOMA:] "And you agree with him?"
[Geese:] "No more than the Enlightenment agreed with the Dark Ages. But I see in him a man who refuses to fail. I see a conviction that has latched onto a higher meaning for himself. What was your higher meaning? To stop Zealot? To remain Champion? For what reasons? You had no grand vision for your reign and so you could not provide a motivation that equaled or exceeded Zealot's. It's time to move beyond embodying your spirit alone and ask yourself what being Champion truly means to you. Do you want to use a Title as a means to an end to fight everyone you can like THRASH Ogawa does? Do you want to forge a legacy and demonstrate mastery over yourself and others like I do? Zealot has his own goals and the conviction to match. If you ever expect to become Champion again and make it to the next level of your career, you need more than just stronger, unpredictable moves. You need a level of conviction to match your fighting spirit. And to do that, you need to ask yourself what you truly wish to accomplish with your entire career from this point onward."
*Geese nods and begins to walk away.*
[RYOMA:] "Wait - why are you telling me this? If I take your advice, we will definitely be opponents soon."
[Geese:] "My Infinite Continuum Championship victory will be grander if my opponents are at their best. And part of my legacy is trying to make this world of professional wrestling even better to compensate for all the ways I once made it worse. One day I suspect that Zealot will want to do the same after realizing what a fool's errand he is on. If one is truly inquisitive *Geese smirks*, they realize that you can't cleanse your own home with violence."
[RYOMA:] "I will consider all you said, Geese. And I appreciate the intentions."
[Geese:] "No one changes over night. But I suspect this period of sundown will last a little longer for you than it has in the past. Use it to your advantage so that the next perihelion is blinding to your opponents."
*The two nod to each other and Geese walks away as RYOMA gets into his limousine. A few seconds later, we hear a shocked female voice off screen*
[Robin Walker:] "Whoa, did you just say perineum?"
[Geese:] "You can't let me have any serious moments, can you?"
[Robin:] "T'aint my fault I'm fun!"
*Robin erupts in laughter aaaaaand we're done here!*

Hi Geese. Amazing response as always. Interesting you mentioned Perihelion because that will be the name of the next SUPER NOVA show I plan to run during the summer.
I think that was a perfect time to bring Geese into the fold of RYOMA's crossroads for sure. Sets up for some good stuff down the road.
As for the match with RYOMA and Zealot, the booking mod was definitely a factor swaying the momentum at certain points but really wasn't cemented as part of the result probably until about the 25 minute mark. While Zealot is a Do or Die ability edit, I wanted to at least ensure that he got to a point where a signature move would be pivotal as no discredit to RYOMA. However, I was not expecting that kind of a performance from a live standpoint regarding some of the testing I did where both guys were kind of 50/50.
The blood really sold that Regal Stretch for sure and I don't think I could've asked for a better ending.

Hi Geese. Amazing response as always. Interesting you mentioned Perihelion because that will be the name of the next SUPER NOVA show I plan to run during the summer. Haha, I like how I brought that up then!! Though I think we all could have done without Holly's creative usage of it π I think that was a perfect time to bring Geese into the fold of RYOMA's crossroads for sure. Sets up for some good stuff down the road. I've always been of the opinion that a loss in pro wrestling (especially in e-feds) can be a great thing for a character under the right circumstances. That is exactly what happened here. I was so excited seeing how the match played out and ended. RYOMA's loss gave me exactly what I needed for him right now. He got over for his efforts and for pushing against the unstoppable force, Zealot. And he tried his best within his current mindset which showed a clear need for him to evolve. Geese made the most sense to me as the person to challenge him to make that next step given their previous match, potential future clash, and Geese's recent character traits. And this also gave me the opportunity that I needed to formally bring RYOMA's character in line with the new edit that I've been working on for him over the last few months. It's an upgrade in power and is also consistent with a lot of what Geese said in this promo in regard to not being as predictable. I've added some things into RYOMA's moveset that have never been done by him before, while also giving him a little more variety in his strategy. Plus, Zealot's road to the Title with his recent character change went through RYOMA and that was a huge sign of respect for him. The victory mattered a lot for Zealot because it was against RYOMA. Zealot's epic win here, and epic rise, will always be remembered as having a strong challenger to overcome. Given how much I absolutely love Zealot's new character and rise to the top, it's a huge honor to me for RYOMA to have been part of this story π As for the match with RYOMA and Zealot, the booking mod was definitely a factor swaying the momentum at certain points but really wasn't cemented as part of the result probably until about the 25 minute mark. I absolutely loved that ending and the blood definitely added so much. It was like the perfect ending for Geese to truly point out to RYOMA that the rest of the world does not play by his rules. If it was up to RYOMA, everyone would just be swinging at each other face to face like joust in American Gladiator. Winning with a submission after a missed move just isn't in RYOMA's strategy guide and his inability to plan for it constitutes a huge weakness that he needs to work on. Both guys through just about everything at each other. I don't actually know how the booking mod works. Does it completely guarantee a victory for one side to the point of swaying the CPU logic in some way? That is really interesting to me. I've wanted the mod pack for purposes of easily uploading edits. It's brutal uploading the individual move craft parts for each edit which is why I haven't posted a new edit for like two years now. But I may need that booking mod too since I want to go back to posting match videos. I'm hoping to dabble in it over the summer.
