Well I must really like Twin Peaks because I just ended up buying it again in Blu Ray format when I got a notification email today from Amazon it was heavily discounted. I had actually meant to buy it in blu ray format last time but I accidentally clicked out on the cheaper DVD set without realizing it. Will try and offload the DVD set on one of my brothers if they're interested in the show.
I am really loving The Expanse. Almost caught up on the entire series that's out so far. This is another one I am going to definitely pick up when it gets the box set treatment. With all my favorite scifi franchises slowly being killed off by mismanagement and political agenda's it's reassuring that I might be able to fill the void with other shows. Still have high hopes for the new Dune and the upcoming Warhammer 40k stuff.
I know Aliens is making a return in TV format at some point, but it's a Disney property now so it's completely up in the air on how it might turn out; but for crap sake bring back the Colonial Marines. The one thing fans have been asking for decades is more Colonial Marines. We got an expanded universe in novel and comic format full of Colonial Marines but no more movies or TV shows with them. Hell, even Colonial Marines are now part of the expanded Predator universe with the Aliens vs Predator crossover content.

Castlevania Season 4.
EDIT: Literally spent my whole day binge watching Invincible on Amazon Prime. The initial trailers I saw of this complete misled me and I ignored it until a guy at work; the same guy who recommended The Expanse to me, asked me if I had seen it. Caught a clip of it on youtube and it turned out completely different than I thought it would be. From the initial trailer I saw it looked like a lame attempt at crossing a teen comedy with a generic flavor of the month super hero premise. Then I actually watched it and it's pretty brutal and I definitely could not stop watching.

Stone Cold Steve Austin A&E documentary is pretty good, lots of stuff you’ve likely already seen, but it’s still a good watch. It was cool to see all of that old footage, but also kind of sad because I don’t think wrestling will ever have the kind of heat it did in the late 90s ever again. The old boy is in great shape, that’s always good to see! Can’t wait to check out Piper and Macho Man, Booker T has one coming up this weekend as well (and I think Shawn Michaels next weekend. Check them out!

I watched the Piper episode, it was really good. Towards the end of the episode Hogan plays a voicemail from Piper that he didn't get until after he died, it's kind of mind blowing.

I liked the piper one as well, sad ending, but it was cool to learn more about him. I could have used much less of his annoying son sounding all scripted, but I thought it was a pretty decent rundown of his career and where he started out. It was interesting how even back then the OG guys were pissed about the idea of people who hadn’t paid their dues on the road being welcomed in to take the top spots. Beginning of the end of their era, now non-wrestling entities regularly “compete” in wrestlemania events. Vince’s trashy phone-call to hell to talk to piper was a touch tasteless, and Vince looks like an over decorated corpse that escaped a funeral home these days, it’s been a while since I’ve seen him on tv I guess!
Macho Man one was interesting while it focused on wrestling, they could have left the entire gorgeous George part out. No one needs to see a legend like that guy dragged through the mud by a stripper whose only claim to fame was the man she keel hauled on a show about his life. I loved seeing the ICW stuff and how it lead into macho and lawler squaring off in mid south wrestling, and then of course the whole macho/steamboat thing. Watch the start, as soon as the stripper shows up, shut it down unless you’re into watching train wrecks ( the “superfan” actor guy they talked to was a douchebag, too!).
Looking forward to Booker T next (SUCKAAAAH!)!

I liked the Booker T and HBK A&E docs, I forgot how much I liked Booker in both WCW and WWF, his special was a pretty feel good affair, even with the sad story of his mother and his incarceration. It was cool seeing him in action again and reliving some of those high points. He was such a beast, always in shape, always had really athletic, fun to watch matches, and he cut decent promos (and REALLY got into them if he was going to face hulk hogan... 🤣).
The HBK one is very candid about what a wreck he was emotionally and physically during his run. I remember enjoying his matches, but I always found him to be an obnoxious prick so I never really got on the HBK train. Then I saw him live in a three way with HHH and Benoit. Holy shit. That man had TOTAL control of that crowd, everyone was cheering for the hometown boy (Benoit), but he had the crowd on strings like a pile of marionettes. There’s no question he’s one of the greats, the doc did a good job of showing how he crawled out of the dark, and they certainly painted it as though he might not be here if it weren’t for HHH and HBKs wife. Very interesting one, even bret hart seems to be letting go of his grudge. Check these ones out!

If they are going to be running their own streaming service, that means they must have a shitload of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k content in production. That's a streaming service I may actually subscribe to.

Looking forward to watching Castlevania Season 4 in the next week!!
Also really excited that Cobra Kai posted a teaser video today revealing who is coming in Season 4!
And also looking forward to the new season of Rick and Morty this summer.
As for recent shows, I watched Wandavision last month and loved it. It was easily one of the best things I've ever seen from Marvel. I'll catch the Falcon/Winter Soldier and Loki series after Castlevania.

I believe this is the Kevin Smith He-Man reboot I had heard about a year or two ago finally arriving soon.

I've been going through both seasons of Love, Death and Robots. Didn't even know this was a thing until recently. It's an anthology series of random short stories all done in different art styles and animation formats. Almost through season 1 and some of the shorts have been fantastic.

That’s a cool compilation, not all of them were my cup of tea, but it’s really cool to see a collection of such diverse stories and story telling mediums all collected in one place. I really enjoy short stories in general, less is more, even if it’s something you really enjoy, so I’m hoping there will be more projects like this in the future! I loved Three Robots from season one, very cheeky episode. 😁
