[One Thumb Up] You could say that this show benefitted from the dismal disappointments that preceeded it in the last few weeks, but the Buffet of Brutality was also able to stand on its own two feet as a solid example of what the PEWA does well in 2023: excellent tag matches, bloody hardcore brawls, weird people doing weird things and a perfect mix of the old and new. Nothing stood out as a full on MOTY level match, but there were no outright duds and there were some stand up and cheer moments that made this a show I could recommend. Tom S. Hunter RESULTS PEWA: Buffet of Brutality - 6-2-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 2nd at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA Bonus Match: Dexa Jain Senatorial Office Debut Dexa Jain with Daniel Ness and Ajax vs. Tracy Finn Impressive showing for the Nepalese Sherpa, the long time conditioning and meditation coach for Ajax, who himself made a rare non-Golden Touch appearance here alongside manager Daniel Ness. Jain hit an astouding double double lotation splash before hitting a rather soft looking spear for the pin. PEWA Extreme Tag Team Championship Bout Powers & Fury(Luke Powers and Jack Fury)(C) vs. The New Mutants(P.M. Carnage and the EMP) With two quality tag matches already having taken place, the expectations were high here, and both teams blew them away as a result. A top notch match that saw Powers and Fury roll back the clock, keeping pace with the New Mutants in and out of the ring, with Fury showing surprisingly agile movement before Powers pinned the EMP with a powerbomb whip to defend the belts. A great showing for all four, and proof that while the former aces still had more than expected in the tank, the New Mutants will clearly carry the brand in the future. Ruler of the Road Championship Bout Sewer Dragon(C)(Super NOVA) vs. Juliette Erving with Mina Fitsharris The dreaded aura of Sewer Dragon did not seem to deter Juliette Erving as she sought to claim her first ever singles gold. She had to earn it, fighting through toxic mist, stinkfaces and other disgusting tactics from the Dragon, but eventually, a running neckbreaker drop would earn Erving the Ruler of the Road, a huge win for the Wild Woman. Unsanctioned Elimination Brawl Hideo Kawabata(Realm of Wrestling) and the Warbringers(Demarcus Browning(Rose Garden) and Moustpaha Ndour) with Renate Barlowe vs. PEWA's Most Hated(Young Blood, "Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde and Jeffrey Janson with Zanca) One of the most violent matches of the year that saw Hideo Kawabata returning to the PEWA ring only a few months after Backyard Pyro nearly crushed his head on the floor with a wrist clutch Pyrohammer. Kawabata was out for retribution and found it here rather quickly as he KOed Jeffrey Janson with a Kawabata Bomb orange crush. Demarcus Browning would pin Young Blood with a big spinning bomb, and Jeremy Wylde would also be dispatched to the shadow realm when Ndour crushed him out of conciousness with a reverse chokeslam. A more disasterous night for the PEWA's Most Hated would not look dissimilar to this one. Welcome Back Party Itzcoatl Hernandez with PEWA's Most Hated(Backyard Pyro, Jeremy Wylde and Jeffrey Janson) vs. Bodybreaker Brown with Eurocore(Top Tyr and Grace Saxon) and Downtown Lucy Brown A blood drenched beatdown at the hands of the PEWA President was the welcome back gift for the Aztec Executioner. Bodybreaker Brown showed no mercy to the returning Itzcoatl Hernandez, pummeling him, stapling his head and eventually punching him out for a TKO stoppage victory. Utterly brutal treatment, but a satisfying result for many PEWA fans. Melino Tupou and Hobo Harry vs. The Sheridan Bros(Zach and Vincent Sheridan)(Evergreen) Another quality tag match for the night with the Sheridans pushing their foes to their limit. However, Hobo Harry was able to dig deep into his veteran bag of tricks, surviving the Sheridan onslaught long enough to pin Vincent with a Hobosault. Landmine Deathmatch Sir Vladimir Henry vs. Sam Horne(Butterfloor) Bloody, fiery brawl, as expected, with Sir Vlad pinning Sam Horne after his Omen of Death lifting throat spike. Hardcore Ninja Clan(Skurai and Ninja Smith) vs. The Hounds of Abaddon(Scarlett Rose and Garrison "Death" Rowe with Big Clay Hurst and Skidmark)(Wrestle Parade) Intended to be Skurai's challenge to Silent Death, but as soon as he made it to the ring, the lights went out. From there, a note was left in the ring stating "Not on your terms, but mine", and instead of Silent Death, Skurai and Ninja Smith would face the Hounds of Abaddon in an exciting contest that saw Ninja Smith pinning Garrison Rowe after a mysteriorana. Gabriel Cruise(PWR) vs. Sampath Thakur Good showing for Sampath on his PEWA main roster debut, but Gabriel Cruise was a step above him in this one, landing a diving senton for the pinfall. The House of Hammer(Heidi Karnstein, Bath Salts Zombie and the Headhunter) vs. The QTWA Allies(Sophie Sapphic, Venus Couture and Raven Brighid)(QTWA) A good straight forward brawl with the QTWA Allies prevailing after Raven Brighid dropped a crushing leg drop off the top onto Heidi Karnstein for the pin. --- Match of the Night: Powers and Fury vs. New Mutants -The main event ended up being the best match of the evening, with Luke Powers, and especially, Jack Fury digging deep and putting on a classic showing to overcome two of the best young competitors in the PEWA Performer of the Night: Juliette Erving -The ever-hazardous Sewer Dragon presented a gruesome challenge to Erving, but the Wild Woman earned her first ever PEWA singles gold as she held her nose and earned the Ruler of the Road title. --- Injury Report Jeffrey Janson: Two Month Medical Suspension (Sprained Neck) -A Kawabata Bomb closed Janson out, and has reportedly done a number on his neck, forcing him on the shelf through Lariats. Jeremy Wylde Two Month Medical Suspension (Mild Concussion) -Moustapha Ndour showed no mercy in slamming the Party Animal face first into the mat, knocking him out with concussive force and putting him on injury protocols as a result.

A double championship night awaits the Amarillo audience as the TIPWF puts both the Lone Star Heavyweight and the Dominican Golden Championship on the line, along with a number of exciting tag matchups, including one perpetuating the continued grudge between Commissioner Callahan and the Cogburn Ranch. TIPWF: Championship Night in Texas - 6-9-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 8th at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Championship Bout El Hijo Del Sapo(C)(Sakura Pro) vs. Jean-Pierre Mutombo Dominican Golden Championship Bout El Froggy Mask(C) with the Mallard and Rodeo Angel vs. Roland Chang Jr. with the New Roland Chang Trio(Roland Chang III, Annie Chang and Roland Chang Sr.) The Eternal Grudge High Plains Drifters(Walt Callahan, Marcus Angulo and Johnny Sixname with Boss Ross Foreman) vs. Cogburn Ranch(Duke Cogburn, Lil' Lariato and Hoss Hank Harcourt Hadley Jr.) Tribute to the Sheik Walid Alizadeh(UCSS) vs. Shrimp Simpson Rudo Army(Florencia Espinosa, Canadian Grizzly, Megan Chabot and Ricky Scott) vs. The Santana Family(Felix Santana Jr., Felix Santana III, Felice Santana and Ana Maria Santana) The Notorious EFM vs. Valentina Verda Tranquilo Revolution(Humberto Ortega, Sarita Jean Watkins and Misterio Guerrero) vs. Green River Wrestling(Lucia Shikongo-Calhoun, Abednego Calhoun and Obadiah Calhoun) Hailey Comet vs. Nefertiri with Mohammad Ramses The Black Star Cyclones(La Relampaga(Phoenix Rising), Layla-Al Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe) vs. Whitesnake(Saburo Aoki Jr, Opaque and Corinna Schwall)

[Two Thumbs Up] It was a better than average event, in fact, I might lose some of my hard-earned critical credibility here by saying that this was the most enjoyable production the Office has staged in months, maybe it was the overall mediocrity of previous events that made this one stand out in contrast, or maybe I'm going soft in my old age, but with matches like Froggy-Chang, EFM-Verda and the main event, the longer matches earning their time, the shorter matches giving us some fireworks, I'm going to break the glass and stamp this one with the rarified two thumbs of approval. Go watch this if you haven't already. Now if I give another one away next week, you can safely tune me out for the rest of time... -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS TIPWF: Championship Night in Texas - 6-9-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 8th at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX Bonus Match Mohammad Ramses with Nefertiri vs. Toni Bolton with Shelly Hotlips(Wrestle Parade), Maxine Blaster and Generalissimo Kool Q A crowd pleasing bonus bout that saw the Triple Threat Athlete of the Celebrated, Toni Bolton take on Mohammad Ramses, sporting newly refreshed attire and having picked up some new moves as of late. Unfortunately for the Dynasty stalwart, Bolton came to fight, throwing a barrage of elbows before eventually pinning after one last rolling elbow strike. Main Event El Hijo Del Sapo(Sakura Pro) and Titas Butkus vs. Jean-Pierre Mutombo and Lance Marshall(AFW) Originally a match for the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Championship between Sapo and Mutombo, this changed quickly when Titas Butkus joined Sapo in the ring, but before a two on one battle could begin, Lance Marshall dashed down to reinforce Mutombo, and faster than Teddy Long could grab a microphone, we had ourselves a tag team match. After a quality battle, Butkus was able to blast Marshall with a running lariat to score the pinfall. Later on in the post-show discussion, Lance Marshall made mention that he would begin to change his workout routines to maximize size and strength instead of speed and endurance in order to take on bruisers like the Lithuanian Bull. Dominican Golden Championship Bout El Froggy Mask(C) with the Mallard and Rodeo Angel vs. Roland Chang Jr. with the New Roland Chang Trio(Roland Chang III, Annie Chang and Roland Chang Sr.) Wearing his vintage Jumperman attire, El Froggy Mask took on the formidable challenge of Roland Chang Jr, and again proved why he is one of the best champions the Office has seen thus far in 2023, surviving Chang's roughneck attacks and responding with an emphatic El Froggy Splash to get the three count, retaining his Dominican Golden Championship once again. The Eternal Grudge High Plains Drifters(Walt Callahan, Marcus Angulo and Johnny Sixname with Boss Ross Foreman) vs. Cogburn Ranch(Duke Cogburn, Lil' Lariato and Hoss Hank Harcourt Hadley Jr. with Cowboy Johnston) Shockingly, before the beginning of the match, Cowboy Johnston ambled down to the ringside area for the Cogburn Ranch side. After a heated match, Marcos Angulo pinned Duke Cogburn with a deadlift German suplex bridge. Cowboy Johnston would then jump into the ring, microphone in hand to address Commissioner Callahan. Cowboy Johnston: Ah tellin' yah, yah ain't no good here nahmore! Ah'm thrown mah name in that there ring! Cowboy: Ah'm tellin' yah right now, Walt! Lariats, yah, an ah, we're gonna fight, winner's gonna be large an in charge around these here parts! Tribute to the Sheik Walid Alizadeh(UCSS) vs. Shrimp Simpson Paying tribute to his hero and pro wrestling inspiration, the late great Iron Sheik, Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, Walid Alizadeh scored one of the fastest clean victories in Office history, pinning Shrimp Simpson with a cradle pin in three minutes and fifty five seconds, proclaiming an emotional "Iran number one! Iron Sheik number one forever!" shout as he walked away. Rudo Army(Florencia Espinosa, Canadian Grizzly, Megan Chabot and Ricky Scott) vs. The Santana Family(Felix Santana Jr., Felix Santana III, Felice Santana and Ana Maria Santana) An action packed melee of a match that saw Megan Chabot coming through in the clutch to pin Felice Santana with a running cross body. The Notorious EFM vs. Valentina Verda Absolutely superb bout between two of the most accomplished members on the roster, but as good as the EFM was, Valentina Verda was able to struggle to victory, clamping on a grounded liplock to claim the win after the twenty five minute mark in a match that had remarkably little downtime for the duration. Tranquilo Revolution(Humberto Ortega, Sarita Jean Watkins and Misterio Guerrero) vs. Green River Wrestling(Lucia Shikongo-Calhoun, Abednego Calhoun and Obadiah Calhoun) The Green River crew made a triumphant Amarillo debut with a big win over the Tranquilo Revolution, with Lucia Shikongo-Calhoun submitting Humberto Ortega with her Komasdal Special, a crossleg inverted omoplata lock. Hailey Comet vs. Nefertiri with Mohammad Ramses With some bad blood following some recent confrontations, Comet and Neferiri entered into a sprint of a match here, resulting in an all too quick victory for Hailey Comet following her Southern Star Press. The Black Star Cyclones(La Relampaga(Phoenix Rising), Layla-Al Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe) vs. Whitesnake(Saburo Aoki Jr, Opaque and Corinna Schwall) A triumphant rebound for La Relampaga after some disappointing results in her home promotion, and while Whitesnake were able to become a full fledged trio with the addition of former L-Pro prospect and Rei's Sparks member, Saburo Aoki Jr, Relampaga was able to pin Cobra Schwall following a diving rana. --- Match of the Night: EFM vs. Verda -Two storied veterans came through big time in the most competitive match on an evening full of closely contested matches. Performer of the Night: El Froggy Mask -A big win over Roland Chang Jr. almost felt like an upset with Chang's recent momentum, but if anything, this was a reminder to never doubt the frog.

After unforseen technical difficulties took the Senatorial Streaming Service off the air for several weeks, the Office returns to the air with a L-Pro x Wacker Drive event with some major ramifications for the upcoming Mid Year Lariats event. An uneasy alliance defined by mutual rivals is found in the main event, a blockbuster contender bout between Steve Phillips and ALEXANDER takes place and In addition, an announcement was made for the following month, after next week's UCSS event and the proceeding Golden Touch, the week of Lariats will be compressed, with the PEWA and TIPWF sharing a show, and L-Pro sharing with UCSS before the mega event. Lightning-Pro x Wacker Drive Revival: Back in Business - 6-30-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 30th at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Main Event Pure Gold(Kyle Anderson and Mallory Spaulding)(Phoenix Rising) and NBNF(DUDE Smith and Emerald Santiago) vs. Star Perfect(Kaede Kinoshita and Ayako Miyamoto), Kojiro Burai(Phoenix Rising) and Priya Mallaya(Phoenix Rising) Victorious Medal Number One Contendership Bout Steve Phillips vs. ALEXANDER The P.A.C.("Showtime" Byron Worthy(Warrior Pro) Christine DeWalt, Arisa Hashimoto and Rena LeBlanc) vs. Worldwide Conquest(Nishimura Endo, Rumika Hashi, The Outlaw Sam Hall and Tarkan the Mangler) Aishwarya Dhawan vs. Takayuki Ueda Innocent Mugisha and Kosuke Arai vs. Daisuke Ogomori(Realm of Wrestling) and Natsumi Komatsubaru(Realm of Wrestling) Leilani Auerbach with the D-Team(Astrid Johannson, Frank McMichaelson and Daunte Thomas) vs. Mr. Moonsault with Bemba's Royal Court(Yetunde Oya and Esther Musambi) Adrenaline Rush(Nic Nitro and Tommy Thunder)(Wrestle Parade) vs. Queen's Rangers(Phil Mercury and Valerie May) Francesco Hirose with Rimi Kondo vs. Bebop Tiger with Astro Traveler Lucretia DeCavalcante with the Syndicate(Mr. Cobra(SWA), Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) vs. ??? with G.P. [One Thumb Up] Let me address the 600 lbs gorilla in the room. This one could have been better than the last TIPWF show that I infamously awarded a full two thumbs. This had the better match of the two evenings in Phillips-ALEXANDER, which was close to MOTY quality. This had other matches that were as good if not better than anything the Texans brought to the table. And yet, this just didn't have the overall flow that made that event so enjoyble to me, with a main event that was merely adequate instead of amazing, while the last show ramped up the momentum as it went along. Either that, or my cynicism levels have fully recharged and I can get back to being a critic again. Very good show bordering on great at its best moments, but you'll be best off seeking out the highlights here. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS Lightning-Pro x Wacker Drive Revival: Back in Business - 6-30-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 30th at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Bonus Match Blair Taylor with Ibrahim Rahman vs. Yuki Okamura with Rei Hasegawa Two high level grapplers squared off in the bonus, with Victorious Medal holder, Ibrahim Rahman at ringside for his Technical Ecstacy teammate, Blair Taylor in the ring. While Yuki Okamura was dealing more damage for the duration, Taylor's flash pins were ever a threat, and after a spectacular takedown, the pacifist would get the pin with a double armbar technique. Main Event Pure Gold(Kyle Anderson and Mallory Spaulding)(Phoenix Rising) and NBNF(DUDE Smith and Emerald Santiago) vs. Star Perfect(Kaede Kinoshita and Ayako Miyamoto), Kojiro Burai(Phoenix Rising) and Priya Mallaya(Phoenix Rising) Finally, Kojuro Burai was able to get a win over Pure Gold, albeit indirectly as he managed to submit Emerald Santiago with a rolling arm triangle hold following an intense exchange. A solid, if fairly routine main event that worked in spite of the mixed alliances, with NBNF and Pure Gold not quite co-existing as well as Kojiro's Rangers and Star Perfect did. Victorious Medal Number One Contendership Bout Steve Phillips vs. ALEXANDER Absolutely the best match of the night, this one started right off the bat with a tombstone from ALEXANDER and scaled up from there. Both competitors dug deep into their resepctive toolkits, with ALEXANDER launching a ferocious barrage and Phillips doing his best to wear his foe's legs down in response. Phillips would kick out from the dreaded Gordian Drop and ALEXANDER got his shoulders up in time after the Filibuster. After the struggle headed out of the ring for a spell, ALEXANDER would gain the upper hand back in the ring with several consecutive fist drops off the top rope, only for his foe to catch him afterwards with a classic counter rollup for the win. Steve Phillips will now face Ibrahim Rahman at Lariats with the Victorious Medal on the line, and both men can enjoy the reward of having taken part in such an excellent match. The P.A.C.("Showtime" Byron Worthy(Warrior Pro) Christine DeWalt, Arisa Hashimoto and Rena LeBlanc) vs. Worldwide Conquest(Nishimura Endo, Rumika Hashi, The Outlaw Sam Hall and Tarkan the Mangler) What looked to be a monumental confrontation between two of L-Pro's top factions ended all too abruptly when Christine DeWalt flash pinned the Outlaw, Sam Hall with an oklahoma roll only eleven minutes in. On the plus side for the Conquest, Tarkhan the Mangler lives to fight another day... Aishwarya Dhawan vs. Takayuki Ueda A good showing for Aishwarya Dhawan, but she could not overcome the all-around talent of Takayuki Ueda, who again proved why he is coming ever closer to establishing his potential as he submitted Dhawan with a perfect key lock submission. There is no doubt that Ueda is one of the true pillars of L-Pro's future. Innocent Mugisha and Kosuke "Choppu" Arai vs. Daisuke Ogomori(Realm of Wrestling) and Natsumi Komatsubaru(Realm of Wrestling) A tremendous tag match that saw a generational clash between both teams. While the Realm of Wrestling team may have possessed the superior firepower, the absolute fortitude of both sides ensured that this one ended up closer than it had any right to be. Eventually, after a crushing exchange, Choppu Arai was able to pin Komatsubaru with a leveling knife edge chop, putting an end to this match, but perhaps not the series between the Realm and the duo of Mugisha and Arai. Leilani Auerbach with the D-Team(Astrid Johannson, Frank McMichaelson and Daunte Thomas) vs. Mr. Moonsault with Bemba's Royal Court(Yetunde Oya and Esther Musambi) With the split between Auerbach and her mentor, Marcus Xavier, this match was inevitable. Interestingly, King Bemba himself did not appear at ringside to support Mr. Moonsault, and with a highly motivated Leilani, it turned out that the blue chip rookie was able to earn the biggest win of her young career, outworking Xavier and pinning him with, what else, a moonsault press. Massive win for Leilani Auerbach, and for her recently acquired allies, the D-Team, who might be ready now to turn things around and challenge again in L-Pro. Adrenaline Rush(Nic Nitro and Tommy Thunder)(Wrestle Parade) vs. Queen's Rangers(Phil Mercury and Valerie May) Surprisingly, the Queen's Rangers were able to grasp ahold of this one early on, and never let go with Valerie May pinning Nic Nitro with the classic, despised rana bomb. Francesco Hirose with Rimi Kondo vs. Bebop Tiger with Astro Traveler Francesco Hirose looked better than expected here, even landing a brutal pickup head hold lariat at one point, but the Bebop Tiger was just too good, responding with head dropping suplexes and eventually, a diving rana pin. Lucretia DeCavalcante with the Syndicate(Mr. Cobra(SWA), Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) vs. Kaito Arai(Rose Garden) with G.P. Christopher and Reimi Makabe GPC's mystery competitor turned out to be none other than Sakura Pro's shining star, Kaito Arai, even if there were reports from the backstage area that Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi was sorely disappointed that his old Strong STyle Royalty teammate turned him down for the spot. As the match started, the Cornerstone of the Syndicate seemed to be a step ahead of the Emerald Emperor, with her precision kicks and brutal stomps putting her in the lead, but Kaito Arai is nothing, if determined and was able to turn the tide before landing a tiger driver for the pin. --- Match of the Night: Phillips vs. ALEXANDER -As good as the Mugisha/Choppu vs. Realm match was and the opener was, this was far and away the best match of the night, a dramatic bout with high stakes on the line, resulting in a classic finish. Performer of the Night: Steve Phillips -Turning back the clock and digging deep to defeat one of the best competitors in today's current lineup and earning a shot at the Victorious Medal was enough to give Phillips the nod here. (And do refrain from any accusations of bias for the double award!!)

A pair of contender matches and a SWA Prestige title bout headline this card, but there could be just as much interest in a pair of debuts and a number of returns on the rest of the card, with Pankration specialist and scholar Marija Pulev teaming with violent lucha outcast and submission grappler, Lula Bufona, and the return of both the Battle Blossoms and Apocalyptic Warriors after a pair of long injury layoffs. UCSS: Battle Tested - 7-7-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 7th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Main Event: SWA Prestige Championship Bout Mackenzie Bergeron(C) with Eliza Faulkner(MWCC) vs. Soji Kanda with Takaya Hinomiya(SWA) UCSS Openweight Number One Contendership Bout Andronicus Turner with Hakim Fields, Jumbo Joseph Butt and Ricky "Violence" Valdez vs. Virgil de Boer with "Big Banter" Rory Banner, Zin Win Aye and Sanem Becker UCSS Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Bout American Apex(Lamont Aldren and Keith Van Horne)(Wrestle Parade) vs. MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Victor Bosch with Mikazuki)(SWA) Dirk Van Buren(Realm of Wrestling) vs. Seong Jung Hwan Double Debut vs. Return of the Apocalyptic Warriors (Apocalyptic Warriors)Ai Tanaka and Masa Tokugawa vs. Marija Pulev and Lula Bufona Aline Richelieu with Drake Elliot IV(Wrestle Parade), Della Dwight and Tim Dwight vs. Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising) with Ruthless Nicole Alger and Dangerous Nicholas Alger Walid Alizadeh vs. String Bean The Battle Blossoms(Sakura Ishigami and Onosa'i Tagaloa) vs. Bunch'a Amateurs(Cody Sheppard and Zak Hayes)(Butterfloor) Angie Armstrong vs. Thomas Lancashire(SWA)

[One Thumb Down] Injuries, all the injuries. I don't mind a knockout here or there, but when you end up filling space with three extra tacked on matches, then your card probably didn't feature many competitive bouts. Some of the results here were especially disheartening, and aside from American Apex-MATWORK(imagine the Apex stealing a show, whoda thunk that, right?), there wasn't anything worth going out of your way for that a quick recap wouldn't handle. Not the worst experience live, just not a great step forward for UCSS. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS UCSS: Battle Tested - 7-7-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 7th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Bonus Match Drake Elliott IV(Wrestle Parade) with Aline Richelieu vs. Jeff Make no doubt about it, Drake Elliott IV was playing with his food here as he let Jeff survive into the third round before finally, mercifully putting him down for the ten count with a cravate suplex. Bonus Match Lanna Ndi vs. Oleg Makos The power of Oleg Makos made this an interesting bout, but the fans came away happy as Lanna Ndi walked through Makos's best shots to deliver yet another second round knockout for the night with a back spin side kick into a thunderous punch to the midsection for the knockout. Bonus Match Eliza Faulkner(MWCC) vs. Jill Anderson(Rose Garden) Nobody can fault Eliza Faulkner for her toughness in this match, as she endured a torture session from her fellow Mackenzie Bergeron teammate in Team Technical's Jill Anderson. Somehow hanging on into the third round, Faulkner mounted a counter attack but it was too little, too late as Anderson rolled her up for a cradle pinfall. Main Event: SWA Prestige Championship Bout Mackenzie Bergeron(C) with Eliza Faulkner(MWCC) vs. Soji Kanda with Takaya Hinomiya(SWA) A back and forth match that seemed to be trending in Bergeron's favor, with the catch expert repeatedly working Kanda's legs over, however, it was not enough, and the Warning was able to counter with a crushing head kick to knock the champ out in the(when else) second round to bring the SWA Prestige title back into SWA hands. UCSS Openweight Number One Contendership Bout Andronicus Turner with Hakim Fields, Jumbo Joseph Butt and Ricky "Violence" Valdez vs. Virgil de Boer with "Big Banter" Rory Banner, Zin Win Aye and Sanem Becker A shocking second round hard knockout delivered by Virgil de Boer, who landed a flurry into a jumping knee to turn the lights out for Andronicus Turner as Hakim Fields watched from ringside. Fields will now defend his belt against de Boer at Lariats, in what promises to be a brutally violent match for the Openweight title. UCSS Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Bout American Apex(Lamont Aldren and Keith Van Horne with Megan Van Horne and Flex Steele)(Wrestle Parade) vs. MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Victor Bosch with Mikazuki)(SWA) American Apex rarely disappoint, and this was not an exception, as Aldren and Van Horne thwarted a solid challenge from MATWORK to claim a shot at Red Alert and the UCSS Tag Titles at Lariats with KVH locking a twister submission on Victor Bosch. Standard Rules Bout Dirk Van Buren(Realm of Wrestling) vs. Seong Jung Hwan A straight sprint to the finish with both exceptional athletes flying around the ring until Dirk Van Buren locked in the sasorigatame for the win. For the duration, this was incredibly competitive and a worthwhile watch. Double Debut vs. Return of the Apocalyptic Warriors (Apocalyptic Warriors)Ai Tanaka and Masa Tokugawa vs. Marija Pulev and Lula Bufona [/img] The incredibly unlikely duo of Marija Pulev, modern Pankration revivalist and PhD scholar with Lula Bufona, roughneck lucha libre outcast and submission grappler somehow worked here, with Pulev able to submit Masa Tokugawa. While it seems that Commissioner Alger likes putting contentious teams together, the prior success of Bitter Rivals could well be a sign that the formula somehow is working. Aline Richelieu with Drake Elliot IV(Wrestle Parade), Della Dwight and Tim Dwight vs. Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising) with Ruthless Nicole Alger and Dangerous Nicholas Alger While Candace Monroe did her best to chop the towerling Richileu down to size, the Savate expert turned the tide late in the second with a lengthy side kick to the midsection, knocking the wind out of Monroe's sails(and abdomen) for a stoppage finish. Walid Alizadeh vs. String Bean Walid did what he does and took care of business at the start of the second round, slamming String Bean on top of his head with an Iranian Spike sheer drop powerslam to get the pin. The Battle Blossoms(Sakura Ishigami and Onosa'i Tagaloa) vs. Bunch'a Amateurs(Cody Sheppard and Zak Heyes)(Butterfloor) Ever the spoilers, the Bunch'a Amateurs actually put on a decent match for ten minutes before deciding to ruin Sakura Ishigami's return to the ring after four months out of action, with Zak Hayes submitting her with a crushing ankle hold that instantly injured the sumo fighter's leg in the process. With the highly competitive tag division in UCSS, the Amateurs again seem poised to strike at the top. Angie Armstrong vs. Thomas Lancashire(SWA) A tough challenge for the enforcer of Thiago Gracie BJJ, who survived three rounds of Thomas Lancashire's top control, and unleashed her own considerable power in the fourth round with a running powerslam from bottom sprawl to score the three count and the win. --- Match of the Night: American Apex vs. MATWORK -No doubt about it, this was by far the best match of the night, with a contender shot on the line, both teams brought their best. Performer of the Night: Soji Kanda -A knockout win over a strong champion for the Prestige title was more than enough to earn this one. --- Injury Report Sakura Ishigami: Ankle Sprain (One Month Medical Suspension) -It seems that just when Ishigami was ready to return to action, she's right back on the shelf, thanks to a Zak Hayes ankle lock. Fortunately, she'll only miss the next month before returning to action. Candace Monroe: Wind Knocked Out (No Injury) -While Monroe is under Phoenix Rising responsiblity, and her info is not officially available from the Office, it was reported that she only had the wind knocked out from the side kick to her midsection that put her on the mat. Andronicus Turner: Moderate Concussion (Three Month Medical Suspension) -A series of knees from Virgil de Boer culminating in a leaping knee to the head knocked the Kronk Legacy out and will keep him out of action for the remainder of the summer, unfortunately. Mackenzie Bergeron: Moderate Concussion (Three Month Medical Suspension) -A Mirko Cro Cop-esque high kick from Soji Kanda took the SWA Prestige belt from Bergeron and also will keep him out of action for the next three months. Oleg Makos: Liver Shock (One Month Medical Suspension) -A Lanna Ndi punch to the torso put Oleg Makos down hard, and the doctors have advised that the Fame Maker should take a month to prevent any lasting damage.

[One Thumb Up] If I were a charitable fellow, I may have given this the full two thumbs just for the two tremendous matches that headlined the card. But I'm too damn much a curmudgeonly miser of a critic, so this stays at one. Good show all around, almost a one and a half, but too many unspectacular jobber squashes overall. A very watchable show, but if you really need to save your time, watch the Old Guard title bout, watch the main event, and you'll be good. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS Golden Touch #28: Road To Lariats - 7-14-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 14th at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington DC Bonus Match Big Banter Brand(Zin Win Aye, Sanem Becker and "Big Banter" Rory Banner with Virgil de Boer) vs. Sweet Science Society(Larry Washington(Realm of Wrestling), Jumbo Joseph Butt and Ricky "Violence" Valdez) As Virgil de Boer punched his ticket to a title match at Lariats by kneeing Andronicus Turner's face in, he was at ringside for his fellow Big Banter Brand against the remnants of the Sweet Science Society. However, the Society found a way to even the odds by inviting the Realm of Wrestling's Fistic Deity, Larry Washington to join their ranks. Washington certainly made his presence known, but Sanem Becker was the standout here, submitting Jumbo Joseph Butt with a crossface chickenwing hold. Main Event: Crew Carnage PEWA's Most Hated(Backyard Pyro and Young Blood) and the Hellbutchers(Demon Otsu(ZIP Japan) and Cleaver(Rose Garden)) vs. Bodybreaker Brown, Downtown Lucy Brown and Eurocore(Grace Saxon and Top Tyr) It seemed unlikely that any match would top the Old Guard title bout, but with the Hellbutchers replacing the plethora of injured members on PEWA Most Hated's lineup, this match was set to bring an outright flurry of violence. Grace Saxon struck first here, tapping Backyard Pyro out with her Saxon Conquest crossface chickenwing hold. After this, it seemed that the PEWA loyalists would become a bit overconfident, giving Demon Otsu a chance to knock Downtown Brown out with a fireman carry ddt. Cleaver would then choke out Top Tyr with a standing sleeper, and now the Most Hated took control again. Although Grace Saxon valiantly attempted to again turn things around, a First Victim iron claw slam from Cleaver would lead to her pinfall elimination, leaving PEWA President Bodybreaker Brown as the last man standing for his side. A merciless double beating from Young Blood and Cleaver would follow, with an end of days complete shot variant finally putting Brown down for the three. Absolutely one of the best Crew Carnage matches ever, and a match that more than brought it to conclude the main card. The only question now is what price the Hellbutchers will extract for their very, very effective services... Two on Three ENHANCE Challenge Ajax and Dexa Jain with Daniel Ness vs. ENHANCE(Robbie Roberts, Neil, and Shrimp Simpson) with N9NE With N9NE watching from the ENHANCE corner and Daniel Ness doing double duty for the night in managing Jain and the Number One Ranked Ajax, the scene was set for a proper demolition job. This was exactly what happened, as Jain was given extensive chances to show off her elite level athleticism and Ajax simply broke his foes when he entered, bringing Neil down with a flurry of flying shoulders into a spear and pinning Shrimp Simpson with a thunderous jumping bomb. Dexa would finish things off with a charging, much less impactful spear on Robbie Roberts. Ajax is clearly ready for Lariats, and N9NE had a ringside spot to see just what he's getting ready to deal with. TIPWF Old Guard Championship Bout "Long Haul" Lenny Broadway(C) vs. Wataru Nakajima(ZIP Japan) "You've still got it!" is a chant often accompanying a match where a veteran surprisingly outperforms their age. The Office fans knew, though, that Lenny Broadway and the legendary Wataru Nakajima were more than capable of stealing the show, and did not dig the chant out when they did just that. Broadway's still-incredible power seemed to present an insurmountable challenge for Nakajima, landing a counter avalanche powerslam off the top and brutally dropping the ZIP Japan great on his head. And yet, the Patriarch would be undaunted, kicking out time and time again, lashing back out with his time-tested arsenal before finally clubbing Broadway down with a head hold lariat to claim the three count and reclaim the Old Guard Championship. Outstanding match that boosted the entire show to another level. Atlas Stone with Robin Nox(Phoenix Rising) vs. Dag Boomer(SWA) with Laurence Holland(SWA) Power vs. power was the story of this one, but Dag Boomer seemed slightly more motivated, controlling the pace and eventually pinning after an underwhelming short arm lariat to bring an otherwise heavy hitting match to a disappointing finish. Lyra Silvermoon(Rose Garden) vs. Robin Nox(Phoenix Rising) The chronically under-utilized Lyra Silvermoon put on a good match with the perpetual free agent, Robin Nox, biting her open at one point, utilizing vicious claws to the back, but eventually a springboard poison rana from Nox would lead to the three count to finish a solid showing from both competitors. The Celebrated(Toni Bolton and Maxine Blaster) with Shelly Hotlips(Wrestle Parade) and Generalissimo Kool Q vs. Crimson Romance(Luci and Chasity)(Wrestle Parade) with Strawberry Sookie(Wrestle Parade) Did Maxine Blaster insult Crimson Romance too much in her ringwalk rap? Did Toni Bolton hit on Luci a bit too much for Chasity's liking?(of course she did) Whatever the reason, Chasity was on an absolute seek and destroy mission here, drawing blood early on and submitting Blaster with a leg and arm hold hydrangea. Marija Pulev vs. Betty Black Trunks Another simple ENHANCE win for the PhD Fighter, Pulev forcing a stoppage on Betty Black Trunks with a top guard forearm choke. Lula Bufona vs. Leslie B. Simple submission victory from Bufona, who tapped Leslie B. out with a rear clutch dragon sleeper variant, holding onto the choke even after the bell. Bonus Match Rachel White(Phoenix Rising) vs. Jennie Medici A surprise re-debut of Phoenix Rising's big kicking, long suffering stalwart, with Rachel White crusing to a fairly easy victory over Jennie, tapping her out with a manjigatame. 10 Minute Exhibition "Textbook" Tim Dwight vs. Daniel Ness A successful trial run for the storied trainer who held his own against his successor and fellow NCAA standout, Daniel Ness. Tim Dwight managed to compete well for the whole ten minutes, and survived to the end in spite of being locked into a twister submission as the bell rang, and looked to be fully prepared for his tag match at Lariats. --- Match of the Night: Crew Carnage, Broadway vs. Nakajima -The main event and the Old Guard matches both were incredible experiences that earned the right to this award. Performer of the Night: Hellbutchers -While Backyard Pyro and Young Blood did little to hold the line against Bodybreaker Brown and his associates, the mercenary team of Demon Otsu and Cleaver scored all the eliminations and pulled their team back from a deficit to score the victory.

Mid-Year Lariats: Ajax vs. N9NE - The Mythical Matchup Roundtable Kevin "The Internet" Anderson: You are here on World Wrestling Daily Digest, and I'm Editor in Chief, Kevin "The Internet" Anderson, welcome to our roundtable discussion on the Mythical Matchup, the ultimate dream match between CAWF great and Number One Ranked star, Ajax and the force of nature, the man we never thought we'd see back in the ring, N9NE. Now, let's open things up, and hear from Dave Doolittle. "Digital" Dave Doolittle: I just want to start this off by mentioning that I don't think this is going to be the match that I think a lot of people are hoping for. I've seen so many times where a match like this gets hyped up to be some sort of a life changing deal, and it ends up not even being the most memorable match on that night. You want some brutal truth? N9NE was terrible, horrible, putrid in the ring. He was a powerbomb machine and aside from being a supersized giant, that's all he brought to the table. Ajax, whatever you want to say about him in the past, can net some ratings. He's far from a Felix Santana Jr, Blake Dynamite or Silver Hawk, but he can put in a shift. One of these guys hasn't been seen for half a decade. The other one is the man, right here, right now. Do I need to spell this one out? "Fast" Eddie Edison: As usual, Doolitle takes way too long to tell us he doesn't know what he's talking about. Hey, I don't either, but at least I'm not wasting your time by running my mouth! You'll see my pick on my Quick Picks. Anderson: That's a cop out, Eddie, just tell us what you think, you're on the roundtable, go ahead and at least pick the winner. Edison: Fine, you know what, I'm picking N9NE. Because nobody else here has the balls to do that. Doolittle: As usual, you want to start stuff for no reason at all. You know, I don't believe for one second you really think N9NE is winning. You just say that because you want to take a shot at me. Edison: Or maybe I want to play the odds. Who knows what N9NE can do these days? I happen to think that mystery makes him a smart pick! Doolittle: And I think you're just being stupid! Anderson: Enough, enough, Maxwell, do you have anything to add? Maxwell McNally: I believe both of these exceptional athletes are more than capable of performing at the highest level on their best night. Ajax has proudly represented the Senatorial Office since he made his return to wrestling, and I am inclined to pick him as a result. N9NE at the peak of his ability, though, was utterly unstoppable. I just cannot cast aside my apprehension concerning his lengthy layoff, however. Therefore, Ajax is my pick. Tom S. Hunter: I think I'm going with Fast Eddie, call me nostalgic, but I remember just how much of a juggernaut N9NE was. Ajax was competitive with people like Moustapha Ndour, I'm just thinking that if N9NE is back, he's going to be on another level than anyone we've seen in years, maybe peak Colossus Rhodes excepted. That said, I'm just going to have a word on the match itself. When's the last time you've seen someone come back after this long and retain their aura? Goldberg-Lesnar II? George Foreman beating Michael Moorer to become the champ again in his forties? It's just not something you see too often in combat sports, but when it happens, it's truly special. And the match itself, I'm going to say this is easily the biggest, highest profile match we've ever seen in the Senatorial Office. In fact, I'm going out on a limb here. It's the biggest match you'll ever see in the Office. Once in a lifetime deal, like Woodstock, if you see this one live, you'll talk about this one the rest of your life. You'll never see a dream match of these proportions again, they just aren't doable. "Textbook" Tim Dwight: I know that you all saved me for last for a reason here. And that reason is simply that I am the only person in the world who's had the good fortune to personally witness both Ajax and N9NE's training camps. I'll just briefly touch upon Ajax, as we've seen enough of him in the ring to get a good picture. But what you might not know is that my good friend Daniel Ness has been throwing a long string of sparring partners at him, the biggest ones he can dig up, and alternating them with speedy foes to keep Ajax off balance. It's been enjoyable to see. Now, N9NE, I've seen his training camp shortly after he showed up last month. He had been training at a local small town MMA gym, and frankly, he was rusty at the time, looked extremely rough around the edges, a bit sluggish. Now if that was all I saw, I would likely have kept it to myself. But I did get to see him train several times in the last week. And the improvement that he demonstrated between June and then was incredible. N9NE had moved to an actual pro wrestling gym and went from pummeling for position with untrained dock hands and warehouse workers to running the ropes competently and showing some surprisingly refined skills against live opposition. It was night and day, and after what I saw, I think N9NE is back in ring shape and properly prepared, if not better skill wise than he ever was in the past. It was an interesting contrast to see one man who was simply tuning up and another who had to rebuild himself to enter back into the game. Dwight: Now I've gone over the training camps, but let me do a proper evaluation here. With all apologies to Eddie Edison, I tend to take my time going in depth here. Edison: Hey, you do it better than anyone. Especially Doolittle... Dwight: I like to take a look at a number of key categories for each competitor, compare and weigh them before I make my definitive call. Starting off, let's look at strength and size. Ajax certainly isn't lacking in raw bulk, and when it comes to strength and power generation, there are very few who could even hope to approach him. But N9NE is a true giant, and having seen him hit the weight room, he's got a case for being the single strongest wrestler I've ever personally seen. -Strength and Size: Slight edge to N9NE Dwight: The next category here will be speed and agility. N9NE moves glacially, and Ajax is surprisingly light on his feet for his build. He's put in a lot of work with Nepal's Dexa Jain and it shows. If anything, Ajax has excellent balance to pull off those avalanche jumping bombs and the velocity he achieves on his spears is frightful. -Speed and Agility: Clear edge to Ajax Dwight: Finally, for physical attributes, endurance and toughness. We know Ajax can ship out a great amount of damage, but he's also shown in his match with Moustapha Ndour that he can take a good amount. N9NE, though, was so hard to defeat in his time that I can't discount his ability to absorb offence. Still, the deciding factor here is that Ajax is much better conditioned and that gives him a marginal advantage overall in this category. -Endurance and Toughness: Slight edge to Ajax Dwight: Moving on here to skills, let's discuss striking. Ajax has the more diverse skillset here, with some potent kicks and of course, his trademark spears. N9NE, on the other hand, was rumored to have competed at one point in some toughman style semi-pro boxing tournaments, and has some surprisingly fluid combinations. Everything here should point to Ajax having a slight to clear edge, but I'm going to call this one even, simply because I think N9NE will land more of his punches on average than Ajax will with his attacks. -Striking: Draw Dwight: Clinchwork is where this one will likely be won or lost. And I think we have a close winner in this one. N9NE isn't fast. He isn't especially skilled. But when he grabs on, he does damage. Both men have big powerbombs that are their go-to techniques, Ajax with his jumping bomb, N9NE with his elevated one. I just think N9NE can close out faster here even if his overall toolset is slightly less rounded out, as Ajax will have a tougher time simply pulling his moves off than N9NE will. There's no flash pins or intricate submissions to worry about here for either side, just raw power implementation, and N9NE has the advantage there. -Clinch: Slight Edge to N9NE Dwight: Matwork, now this one is somewhat ugly here. N9NE literally has nothing here. Nothing at all. Ajax has some leglocks but they're mostly inconsequential. But they're something, and that's why I'm going to give him the nod. Needless to say, this is almost one hundred percent irrelevant, but it is a cateogry I have to cover. -Matwork: Clear Edge to Ajax Dwight: Lastly, I bring up any miscellanious factors, ranging from top rope attacks to mind games, anything that the other categories might not address. For Ajax, I think he has the better support staff in Daniel Ness and Dexa Jain, he's got the better overall resume over the last five years, he's more tested, and he's the proven commodity. N9NE's biggest x factor has to be his aura. Some of my fellow contributors have mentioned this, but the last time N9NE was active, he was less a proper wrestler and more of a singuarily driven powerbomb delivery device. He didn't lose matches. He didn't even let people come close to winning. So, comparing these, I think I'll call it a draw. We'll get a much better picture of where N9NE's intangibles will be after this match, but for now, he remains the Mythical Monster that he's proclaimed to be. -Miscellanious: Draw Dwight: In conclusion, I believe that upon the conclusion of the Mythical Matchup, Ajax will walk away retaining the Number One Ranking. N9NE is incredibly strong, can land some hard punches on a consistent basis, but Ajax rates out as the better athlete, and more skilled. N9NE at one point was the most feared big man in the industry. But he's almost certainly well past his prime in 2023. To me, the real story of this match is to see just how much N9NE still can show, this far removed from his absolute best, and if he can make up for his physical decline with his training and experience. Ajax, on the other hand, may be as good as he'll ever be, I think he's operating at the highest level that he can achieve on his current run. I doubt he can pull off the avalanche bomb, and will have to fall back upon his spears to get the pin. But if he does manage to hit that big bomb off the top, well, I don't think you could write a better moment to close Lariats out on. -Projected Winner: Ajax Anderson: And that will conclude our World Wrestling Daily Digest roundtable for the upcoming epic taking place on August 4th on the Senatorial Streaming Service. [One Thumb Down] This was not a bad show, necessarily, it just went on way, way, way too long. That might be expected, considering that it was the go-home event for two promotions, but that's still no excuse for this one deciding to take all of your damn time for the evening. The Celebrated-Sheridans match is absolutely worth cueing up, though, as is Juliette-Raven. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS PEWA x TIPWF: Road to Mid-Year Lariats - 7-21-2023 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 21st at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA Bonus Match: Lighttube Death Match Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. Digital Dave Doolittle Dave Doolittle was at ringside for his customary live ratings, and seemed to be itching for a fight. He ended up issuing out some shockingly poor ratings for some of the best bouts of the night, and as a result, PEWA President Bodybreaker Brown gave him the greenlight to make one of his rare in-ring showings. Unfortunately, this was against Tomas the Tiny Giant, in Tomas's favorite match type. Tomas utterly eviscerated Digital Dave, hitting him with repeated Ball Peen Hammers and sending him outside into the barbed wire before one final Hammer mercifully put the Ring Beholder away with a pinfall just under six minutes into the match. A satisfyingly abrupt encounter that was a treat for Tomas's sizable fanbase, and both fans and detractors of Digital Dave. Main Event Lance Marshall(Phoenix Rising), Moustapha Ndour, Hideo Kawabata(Realm of Wrestling) and Jean-Pierre Mutombo vs. Young Blood, El Hijo de Sapo(Rose Garden), Frog Buster(SWA) and Titus Butkus Both sides came to battle in this heavy hitting main event, but in the end, a major statement was made by El Hijo Del Sapo when he managed to flash pin the granite-tough PEWA Extreme champ, Hideo Kawabata. Sapo stared down his upcoming challenger for the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Championship afterwards, Lance Marshall and it looks as if the American Frontier Wrestling head honcho will have his work cut out for him when he faces the Son of the Toad. PEWA Ruler of the Road Championship Bout Juliette Erving(C) vs. Raven Brighid(Blue Thunder Pro) An exceptional fight of a match that saw Raven Brighid endure Juliette Erving's typical antics early on before the two erupted into a display of violence outside of the ring. Eventually, Raven would connect with her double underhook Wing Driver, allowing her to pin Erving and stake her claim to the Ruler of the Road Championship. A quality match, and the culmination of an outstanding partnership between the PEWA and the guest Blue Thunder Pro/QTWA talent. Pay Day Enterprises(Hindu Sheik, Shrieking Sheik and Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint with Elise Pichon) vs. Exotico World Order(Valentina Verda, Martina Martinez and Vice Versa A good back and forth match that was surprisingly even, with the EWO holding their own against their violent foes. While the Sheiks did manage to inflict some brutality, Vice Versa was able to pull off the win here with an imploding 450 splash on Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint, pinning the PEWA Original. Winner chooses the stipulation for Lariats and Legislators "Tijuana Wreckin' Ball" Marcos Angulo with Walt Callahan vs. Lil' Lariato with Cowboy Johnston Marcos Angulo managed to shake away some demons in this match, beating Lil' Lariato after hitting him with the Wreckin' Ball Knee, and his pinfall win would both make up for a series of past failings against the Houston rapper. Practically upon the ring of the bell, Walt Callahan told the ring announcer his stipulation for Lariats, and it was broadcast to the audience that the Commisioner will face Cowboy Johnston within the confines of the Steel Stockade with his job on the line. Sampath Thakur and Gabriel Cruise(PWR) vs. The New Mutants(P.M. Carnage and the EMP) An incredibly impressive victory for the newly forged team of Sampath and Gabriel, as the two took on the former PEWA Extreme Tag champs and managed to control the match and Thakur was able to pin the EMP with his Ganges River Overflow northern lights bomb variation. Felice Santana vs. Annie Chang vs. Florencia Espinoza As fast moving a match as one would have hoped for, Annie Chang and Felice Santana showing new looks here, but many would be disappointed when Chang knocked Santana out of the match with her "And She Got The Upset!" blade runner variation. This pitted Chang up against Espinoza to finish out the match, and now it would be the Rudo ARmy standout's turn to shine as she outwrestled Chang en route to a rollup win. The Celebrated(Maxine Blaster and Toni Bolton) with Shelly Hotlips(Wrestle Parade) vs. The Sheridan Bros.(Vincent and Zach Sheridan)(Evergreen) Amazing all-out, entertaining match that saw the absolute best out of both the Celebrated and the Sheridans, each team pushing an absurd pace and making the best of every moment before Vincent Sheridan was able to pin Toni Bolton with the superstar Elbow of Awesomeness, a near perfect match, even if Dave Doolittle inexplicably only gave it a measley 76%, a decision he would later regret... Skurai vs. Luchador Sorpresa As this match went along, it became increasingly obvious that Luchador Sorpresa was NOT the Luchador Sorpresa that TIPWF fans are used to. This Sorpresa threw hard kicks and repeatedly pulled out a scythe to open a wound on his foe, before landing a grounded rolling roundhouse kick to pin Skurai. Afterwards, "Luchador Sorpresa" removed his mask to reveal his true identity: Silent Death! Skurai's sworn ninja rival again netted a win over his foe, and it appears that Silent Death will contnue in his quest to retire his former ninja superior. Green River Wrestling(Lucia Shikongo-Calhoun, Abednego Calhoun and Obadiah Calhoun) vs. House of Hammer(Heidi Karnstein, Sir Vladimir Henry and Bath Salts Zombie) The House of Hammer were dominant in this one, with Heidi Karnstein wrapping things up with a horrific vampire bite submission on Obadiah Calhoun, and it would take a phalanx of PEWA security to pry her off afterwards. The Mallard(MWWC) with Rodeo Angel and El Froggy Mask vs. Jumpin' Jim Malone with Jayne Payne A competitive match between two individuals better known for their team efforts, with the Railjumpers's Jumpin' Jim Malone managing to pin The Trio's Mallard after a piledriver. --- Match of the Night: The Celebrated vs. The Sheridan Bros. -Despite the inexplicably poor rating assigned to this by Dave Doolittle, this was a wonderful match full of intensity, high impact moves and outlandish personalities. Juliette Erving vs. Raven Brighid deserves honorable mention, too, but was a step down from the absolute energy this tag match brought to the table. Performer of the Night: El Hijo del Sapo, Raven Brighid -A double award to guest talent, with Sapo pinning the PEWA Extreme Champ to set himself in good standing for his upcoming TIPWF title defense and Raven Brighid's Ruler of the Road title win over Juliette Erving equally earned her the award. --- Injury Report Felice Santana: Bruised Sternum (One Month Recovery Time) -Annie Chang's "And She Got The Upset!" cradled twisting complete shot knocked Felice out of their triple threat match, and while this may be a setback for Santana, she'll only miss a month to recover.
