The last night of the year for the Senatorial Office closes out in style with some heavy hitting brawls, fast paced technical action and some surprise showings that will be talked about for weeks to come. Despite a bit of an uneven first third, Lariats Night Two delivered the goods. RESULTS Lariats and Legislators 2020 - Night Two 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, December 18 at the Capitol Arena in Washington, DC Senatorial Office #1 Ranking Bout, PEWA Extreme Title Bout Jean-Pierre Mutombo(C) vs. Hobo Harry vs. Annie Chang All three competitors showed up to fight in this culminating main event. Hobo Harry was more than competent, even coming close with a Hobosault at one point to taking out Mutombo. JPM for his part, was at his very best, showing his usual charisma and fortitude, defeating Hobo Harry at a perfect time with the Supersensational Drop elbow drop to bring things down to a one on one situation. This match, even so, was just as much the story of Annie Chang's feisty refusal to roll over and die, competing on an even level with two of the top names in the game, and even planted JPM with a Conclusion snap neckbreaker down the stretch for a two count. At this point, the Man of Unity took over, catching Chang in the high angle Congolese Crab, and moonwalked away to celebrate a successful defense of his Number One ranking on the biggest stage of the year. Caged Fury Roland Chang Jr. vs. The Outlaw, Sam Hall A surprise addition to the card, the endless violent feud between Roland Junior and Sam Hall continued, this time within the confines of a steel cage. This was a fairly routine brawl for the two, with Hall hitting some of his big DDTs and the Outlaw Boot, Chang battering his opponent with baseball bats including an incredibly vicious shot to the back of the head, but the match would come to an abrupt halt when Chang caught his hated rival with a low blow into a cradle to earn the three count. Both men were instantly and separately escorted out of the arena directly afterwards. Geese Walker(OG-FPD) vs. Anthony Kalb with Senator Steve Phillips Prior to the match, a backstage report reached the broadcast crew, alerting them to expect a special guest at ringside for Anthony Kalb. And that was no exaggeration as none other than Senator Steve Phillips made his first showing in an Office setting since his retirement from professional wrestling. Anthony Kalb was outgunned and seemingly outmatched from the opening bell. Geese Walker seemed ready to utterly steamroll the former Chairman, when one big rainmaker inexplicably turned the tide. For whatever reason, Kalb jumped straight up from the lariat and finally started mounting a legitimate comeback, blasting his iconic foe with a series of big moves including his signature Adam Smith Driver inverted brainbuster scoop tombstone driver, albeit, in the bottom of the "Windex corner," preventing a potential upset three count. Walker's own competitive spirit flared after that, blasting Kalb with a thunderous STO, driving the Capitalist into the mat, and pinning him for the three count. A worthy match, once it really got going. The Jackson Hole Outlaws(Doc Wyatt, Red Masterson, "Showtime" Byron Worthy and Roy Carter)(Warrior Pro) vs. Cowboy Johnston, Hailey Comet, Lil' Lariato and Marcos Angulo It's rare when a match can swing the reactions of the fans around as well as this one did. After a quick restart thanks to senior Office referee Raymond Allen Fleming discovering illegal weapons on Doc Wyatt's person, the Outlaws and the Cogburns engaged in the expected brawl of a match that this was destined to be from the opening bell. Worthy and Lariato in particular had some strong exchanges, and RAF did an extraordinary job at keeping a tight grip on keeping the match from getting entirely out of hand. Things would turn on a dime, however, with Roy Carter attempting a superplex on Cowboy Johnston in the TIPWF corner, receiving a massive avalanche Oklahoma slam to be the first elimination of the match. A Western Double combination lariat series would take Doc out of the match not much later afterwards, and now the Outlaws found themselves in a difficult two on four deficit to come back from with over ten minutes to go. And from here, Red Masterson and Byron Worthy amazingly drew support from a large portion of the crowd, Masterson catching Hailey Comet in an inside cradle to bring things down to two on three. As the Outlaws now seemed to be in a fight for survival, the cheers even came out with Doc Wyatt's usual trademark interference as Masterson and Worthy managed to survive to the forty-five minute mark for a time limit draw. The TIPWF team were able to stomp away at the Outlaws, but the Jackson Hole crew gained a victory of their own in preventing an absolute defeat, although one wonders if all the members might be less than enthused with such a result. Two out of Three Falls Technical Challenge Ibrahim Rahman vs. Valentina Verda Absolutely one of the most competitive pure wrestling bouts ever seen in the Senatorial Office, Rahman-Verda entirely lived up to the high expectations placed upon this match between two masters of the mat. The first fall showcased the respective skill and the unique personalities of each competitor, both Verda and Rahman focusing on landing a flash pin for the duration, with the Tunisian managing to take the lead with a ground cobra twist cradle. There was an urgency headed into the second fall, and Rahman's intensity seemed to carry him to a clean sweep when Verda caught him with a takedown into a magistral pin, the sacred Mexican match ender evening the odds headed into the third and final fall. Verda, not just rejuvenated but laser focused on the win at this point, threw move after move at the now-faltering Rahman, and the signature Gardenia Bridge bridging backslide pin would finish things off. Even in defeat, Rahman's quality was apparent, and the Virtuoso Exotico justified a persistent presence in the top five rankings. Dominican Golden Championship Unification Bout Salvador Sosa(Lineal Champion) vs. Dungeon Dominguez(Interim Champion)(Lucha POWER) with Paco Pequeno(Lucha POWER) Dungeon Dominguez has looked nearly unbeatable with his Interim Dominican Golden Championship up to this point. With Salvador Sosa's shoulder covered in athletic tape and coming off a long injury layoff, the Lineal champ was seen to be at somewhat of a disadvantage. Instead, Sosa stepped up on the big stage once again, showcasing his elite athletic abilities and an utterly ruthless mentality as he went toe to toe with Dungeon in the early going, and started unleashing an absolute offensive onslaught as the match progressed, Paco Pequeno's vaunted managerial skills only able to delay the inevitable before Sosa landed a double chickenwing facebuster to unifiy the Dominican Golden Championship. Salvador Sosa has never looked more dominant, and a win like this could well propel him to a challenge for the Number One in the near future. Legendary Tag Clash The Bingo Hall Mutants(Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) vs. The Vanishing(Blade Saeba and Notorious)(SWA) The Vanishing are one of the best teams in the world, current SWA tag champs, and in their absolute prime. They were simply outclassed in this one. The Bingo Hall Mutants simply cranked things up to another level here, hitting persistent double team attacks and using their size advantage to their benefit, with Skullface Killah eventually knocking Notorious out with his infamous Kill You Dead front falling electric chair drop. Mr. Moonsault vs. Crusher Honda Marcus Xavier, for some inexplicable reason, did not utilize his unique agility here, and was less Mr. Moonsault than he was a single minded brawler in this one. Against Crusher Honda, this was a bad mistake. Honda not only brutalized Moonsault inside and outside of the ring, but even took to the skies more, including an impressive dive to the outside. A Pole Shift Flowsion would mercifully end this one before it got out of hand. Frog vs. Frog El Froggy Mask vs. Notorious EFM The Notorious EFM started out looking strong here, but a sudden Tadpole Roll huracanrana to jackknife pin would catch the Original Froggy and net an incredibly important three count for the second Froggy Mask. Night #2 Preliminary Main Event G.P. Christopher vs. Todd Colton(Phoenix Rising) Once again, Todd Colton has proven himself the kryptonite to GP Christopher's style, tough enough to stand up to GPC's strikes, athletic enough to keep up with his agility, and most importantly, technical enough to impose his own game, and with several back to back Phoenix Rising Special binding clutch suplexes, finished off the Victorious Medal holder, once again. --- Match of the Night: Valentina Verda vs. Ibrahim Rahman -The two out of three falls match was every bit as good as expected, and perhaps a little more. Outlaws-TIPWF and Sosa-Dominguez were several other standout matches, but this one was far and away the best of the night. Performer of the Night: Salvador Sosa -Unifying the Dominican Golden Championship in his possession, and managing to put on what could have been the most impressive showing of his whole career earns this award for Salvador Sosa. --- Injury Report Notorious: Moderate Concussion (Three Month Medical Suspension) -Skullface Killah's Kill You Dead finisher planted Notorious face first from a high angle and knocked him out. A rough finish for one of the best tag wrestlers in the game, and it looks as if the Vanishing may not be able to hold onto their titles entering into the new year as a result.

Todd Colton "Y'know, I'm almost not even mad about that being the last match I've got for the year, 'cause there's no longer any doubt in anyone's mind anymore that I'm the best there is around here, around Phoenix Rising, anywhere in the damn world. Fact is, I walked into that ring, home away from home, squared off with the best Lightning Pro's got, and you think I was gonna go out there and 'steal' a win? Nah, I went out there and won the match straight up, no bullshit, no tricks, just being better. So I close this year out by reminding the world just who I am... and showing you that 2021 is gonna be my year. The year that I finally get the opportunities, the championships, the accolades that I've deserved, that I've earned all this time.
And you better believe I'm not gonna let anyone get in the way of that. Doesn't matter what their name is. Sentarl, Kintelas... legacy or first-gen, champion or rising star, you get in my way, you're gonna run into trouble. Because you're looking at the man that's gonna start collecting titles everywhere I go... no matter who might hold them."

Lariats and Legislators 2020 Post Show Presser Highlights, Part One
G.P. Christopher: One and one, I can live with that, but don't tell me to like it. Sure, I steamrolled Kevin Fitsharris, but no offense to him, people expected that. Todd Colton not just beat me, but made me feel about the way I bet Fitsharris felt. And since I should be representing the best L-Pro has to offer, that ticks me off. Not at Todd, since he just did what he came to do, but at myself, for not being able to push him to his limit, or even being able to make him fight my fight. Look, the Dixie Cup Man is no joke, but he shouldn't be able to take me out of my game like that. I'm supposed to be a jack of all trades, able to beat high fliers in the sky, out tough the tough guys going toe to toe, and outwork the grapplers on the mat. And Todd taught me that I just can't do that. So here's how I'm going to bounce back from that and take my next step up.
GPC: I got Nishimura Endo up next for my Victorious Medal defense. He's a dangerous guy, been around forever, still packs a punch. But I've fought people like him, lots of times. I beat the Black Dragon who beat him for the Medal. I'm not saying it's a given, but I know I can beat him if I bring it. I can handle that style. But what Colton showed me is that if you're legit on the mat, you got a shot against me. So, what I'm saying now, is that to fix that problem, I'm gonna train harder to seal up that gap. And then, if I can beat Endo, I'm going to issue the next challenge to a guy who just signed up with L-Pro. That's right, I want to defend against the Tunisian Nomad, I want to check my progress by taking on Ibrahim Rahman! This guy almost beat Valentina Verda in a straight up wrestling match. He pinned Verda once, and almost did it twice! So Rahman, in 2021, you and me, we're on a colision course!
---
Renate Barlowe: No.
Moustapha Ndour: Come on, Renate, you almost snapped his ankle! Go challenge him and become the champion!
Barlowe: The SWA did not make me a deal, if they can't guarantee that this is worth my time, I don't do it.
Ndour: Live a little bit! Have fun!
Barlowe: I lived a lot. Too much. I put a target on my back across multiple borders because of my old work. I would rather take care of myself and avoid excess risks. Now, for you and Demarcus...
Ndour: We got plans. Already talked before he headed out. And we agreed, I gotta show up more in Sakura Pro. And he's gotta head on over to the PEWA. Because he and I, we're looking for a little more gold of our own. We're not afraid, we want our shot at the Bingo Hall Mutants!
Barlowe: *sigh* I didn't sanction this one. You two are not ready for them. And there might be issues with some of the other teams in line.
Ndour: Then they can calm down and take a break while we step up!
Barlowe: In fact...here's a few.
Tomas the Tiny Giant: nobody brought the tiny giant to the land of the lariats but the giant is here anyway and tomas does not like what he hears because he hears that those that bring the war will be the fighters of the belts when the fighters of the belts should not be those that bring the war but should be THE BREAKERS REVENGE BECAUSE THE BREAKERS NEED THEIR REVENGE AND THEY NEED THEIR BREAKING BUT TO GET THEIR REVENGE THEY WILL BREAK THINGS!! LIKE TUBES OF LIGHT!! AND PEOPLE!! and i do not like the people who get in the line ahead of the people who were in the line because that is something tomas finds is a way that the people who are rude act AND TOMAS IS NOT RUDE! TOMAS IS POLITE! TOMAS WILL SHOW YOU HOW POLITE TOMAS IS WHEN TOMAS BREAKS YOU TO STAY IN LINE SO TOMAS CAN BREAK THE MUTANTS OF THE HALLS OF BINGO!!
X-KIRA: (Translated from Japanese) <The two of you have only just arrived here, but we do not accept your challenge! Not when we had our own challenge we were waiting to make for the Mutants! And we will not let you take the place of the Breakers' Revenge!>
Ndour: Sorry, but I don't speak that language...and really, I don't understand a word either of you just said. You get any of that, Renate?
Barlowe: No.
X-KIRA: <You two are usurpers! False challengers! We will show you with the breaking of the lights just what darkness you will have invited!>
Rampage Rage: Alright, all you knuckleheads got a problem, but don't worry, because we're here to clean this up.
Skullface Killah: Clean it up!
Rampage: First off, since I'm jumpin' in here right now, let me say the Vanishing were badass to the core, they gave us a fight! We already got Blade his stack of ribs, he earned the hell outta that! Notorious...
Skullface: Get better! Then we feed you!
Rampage: What the big man said. So, you all want to take your shot at us? Don't think you saw what we did to the Vanishing. We took their best shot, chewed it up, and spit it right back at 'em! And those two are two of the best! Warbringers ain't nearly done as much as they've done! And Breakers...look, Tomas, KIRA, you both got some balls, but you got about zero wins as a team! You want this, then you have to friggin' prove you're worth it! So fight each other, an' we'll take the winners!
Skullface: Take you down!
Rampage: Just don't think we'll take it easy on any of you, 'cause that ain't our way!
---
Thiago Gracie: Is good, you become black belt now.
Jamie Tomasi: I always thought that'd be the biggest moment of my career, of my life. Get my black belt and I'm at the top of the game. But all I can think now, is that all I did was open up the door from the basement and I'm looking at a whole world of martial arts now. I've learned everything you've had to teach me. Now I can apply it.
Gracie: Yes, yes, you win one match for tonight. Only one match. Not win career.
Tomasi: One thing I've learned is that you always secure your position before you get your submission. And while part of me's excited enough to take my shot at Andronicus Turner and that Openweight title, I think I need to work my way towards that before I know I'm at that level.
Gracie: You want it? Take it. No want it? No take it.
Tomasi: Seriously, I want this bad. But not so bad that I'm going to do it the wrong way.
Gracie: Maybe you do learn.
Tomasi: So then, what about you? I had to work my butt off to get that win, bought you that nice new gi, what're you looking to do now? Don't tell me you're still thinking of going back to the gym again.
Gracie: Maybe. Maybe is time for give you focus, no more for me. Time for Thiago is done. Time for Jamie is now. Not the finish for Thiago. But take big step back. I win Openweight two times. Two times! No need for more. Jamie has zero. Need more. I help. You win.
Tomasi: Putting a lot of pressure on me now!
Gracie: Yes! Black belt is no easy! Is pressure!
Thiago takes a deep breath and points in Jamie's face. When he speaks again, Gracie drops his broken "casual" English and his tone shifts from his usual mild, stoic tone to a sharper, louder delivery.
Gracie: You represent the lineage of Thiago Gracie! You are always part of my legacy now! You are my greatest student, the one who I trained from potential to success! You are Thiago Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! And with the black belt, you are a teacher under my style! You are a competitor under my style! If you win, you give a win for Thiago Gracie BJJ, but not just for Thiago Gracie BJJ, but for the entire Gracie family going back to Carlson Gracie, back to Helio Gracie, back to Mitsuyo Maeda! You are part of the family line by your training and you carry that responsibility on your shoulders, around your waist with that belt! It is pressure! But you are strong. And you will prove your worth. I have won everything I have ever wanted to win. UCSS title, two times. ADCC. BJJ world championship. But I want to see you win now. It is the pressure of a strong opponent that has position. Do you give up and give them the win? Or do you survive and reverse the pressure on them! Show me what you learned! Win against all styles!
Tomasi: Win against all styles. That's your instruction, that's always been your instruction. That's why I trained those suplexes, those flying knees, to be ready for anything. But even then, I know there was one more instruction that was always the single most important one for Thiago Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. One you taught me from day one. You never let me forget it. Win against all styles. But there's only one way to win, right?
Gracie: Victory...by...armbar.
---
El Experto: (Translated from Spanish) <A disgrace, that's what that was! An utter disgrace! We had them right where we wanted them! But we let them off the hook! Oh, the mighty Felix Santanas, crown them, crown their asses! They were who we thought they were! And then again...you did what they said you would do, Mr. New humanity! They were not prepared for us! Felix Santana Jr. was dressed to party, not to wrestle! We should have obliterated the two of them! But you let me down, Esteban Vargas, you let me down once again, just as you've let Midas down. How long must I wait for the potential of your abilities to exceed the failings of your intellect?>
The New Humanity: <I am sorry, Experto, but...>
Experto: <But nothing! I spent over a year to make my return! I waited until there could be no doubt that I would strike out and destroy Felix Santana Senior! But you lost that match for us! No longer do you figure into my plans for outright dominance! Now I must deal with the return of that nauseating milquetoast, Sosa, and the Cogburns, and Callahan's people, and the Neon Knights, and it is too much! I cannot stand doing this with such losers in my lineup! Begone, Esteban Vargas, you are no longer part of Rudo EX!>
Humanity: <I can make this up for you!>
Experto: <You cannot!>
Humanity: <You say you hate Sosa! I will beat Sosa! I will take the Dominican Golden Championship from him!>
Experto: <No, I believe he will destroy you as he did Dungeon Dominguez. Which reminds me, I have a talk to schedule with Paco Pequeno...>
Humanity: <Give me one chance! I will win, and I will prove my worth!>
Experto: <And I expect you to lose and prove the lack of your value. You will receive no help at all if you do this. This is your own endeavor, and my expertise will not be wasted on such futile efforts.>

Lariats and Legislators 2020 Post Show Presser Highlights, Part Two
El Froggy Mask: (Brackted text translated from Spanish) I needed that, badly. I want to thank the Notorious EFM for training me, believing in me, and giving me that one big chance to prove to myself that I belong here. Now, I have a challenge I want to issue! El Experto, I know you haven't gone far away! Get back out here! <Come answer me, you rotten weasel! Show yourself out here before I have to go back there and...>
El Experto: <You will do nothing of the sort, you emerald idiot! Green is not just the color you wear, but a perfect description of your absolute lack of seasoning. You are nothing. One win over a dilapidated icon means absolutely nothing. It will not grant you the privelige of facing someone of my value.>
Froggy: <Are you afraid that I will roll you up? Or put you away with the Frog Fifty? Or the El Froggy Splash?>
Experto: <I despise wasting my time! Defeat the Aztec Executioner, Itzcoatl Hernandez! And then and only then may you dare to negotiate!>
Froggy: <I will do that! And then I will be just a hop and a leap away!>
---
Instead of making her way to the podium, or even the press room, Annie Chang wandered the cavernous halls of the Capitol Arena following her match. With her gym bag slung over a shoulder and her suitcase in the other hand, Annie could not have cast a more pitiful, weary sight as she rounded a corner headed past the Bingo Hall Mutants and their BBQ grill.
Annie Chang: Hey, 'Page, Killah.
Rampage Rage: Hey yo, Annie! Keep that head high, you kicked ass out there!
Annie: Yeah, I did...but I lost.
Skullface Killah: Get your Portabella! Made you one!
Annie: Sure...if you made me that.
Rampage: Eat up, girl, Hobo stopped by, told me to tell you that he's giving you a title shot if he beats Powers. Serious, you kicked ass, so what, you didn't punch your lottery ticket? You got a Lariats main event! Me and Skullface, we never got one of those! And we don't got the time you've got to make this work! You'll get yours!
Annie: yehhh, ahhh, guesshhh, sorry, trying to eat that fast. I guess I will. Doesn't feel great tonight.
Skullface: Losing never feels great! Get outta here, go sleep! Get back and get stronger!
Annie: Sure, sure, thanks guys, and thanks for remembering my favorite, Killah.
And as such, Annie walked along towards the exit after finishing her portabella burger, kicking a door open to exit to the back of the arena. As it was, Annie managed to enter into a bit of a fracas. Four security guards surrounded a loudly protesting character who shoved one after another as they continued to block his path.
???: And I told you my stuff's still in there, damn you, you pathetic mall cop wannabe jackbooted bastards! Get out of my way! Look the door's open, let me in there!
Annie: Oh no. As if this couldn't get worse.
???: Look over here, you see her? That's my girl! That's my Annie! Yeah, that's my daughter! She's a star around here! She'll tell you who I am, she'll tell you I need my stuff!
Annie: I'd say I don't know this guy...but yeah, he's the guy who got my mother pregnant.
Roland Chang Junior: Told you pencil necked geeks that's who I am! And you locked me out for her match!
"Pencil Necked Geek"/Guard: Sir, we know who you are, we dragged you out of the stadium after your match, on Mr. Matthews's orders.
Roland Junior: And I told you I had to stick around! Not to knock Sam Hall's head off any more! But because I had to...I had to, aw, damnit.
Annie: Um, Roland...
Roland Junior: I...just wanted to see...my little Annie's big match, damnit all! Look, I know I'm not the best father. Not for RC, and really not for you. He tried to tell me to text you, but after all this time, little letters on a shitty phone, that just doesn't mean anything. Thought I'd get...get to see you wrestle...cheer you on.
Annie: Roland? You serious?
Roland Junior: I know you had to go do your thing. I don't get it! I don't like the stupid tattoos, I still think they're dumb! And you dress like a city slicker! I still think you're better off sticking to the Chang Family style! But...argh!
Annie: You're...trying, I guess. And that...that means a lot.
Roland Junior: Look, don't ask me to say lots of nice things, because I don't do that! But what I wanted...wanted to tell you...was that...the old man's still got your chair at the table for Christmas...and I got you a ticket home...if you want it.
Annie: This is kinda awkward...real awkward. But I'm not turning that down...as long as it's two way, I got my life still going here!
Roland Junior: Um, thing is, we all do, don't we? We still all wrestle out here in DC right now! Damn, if I don't miss Texas!
Annie: I kinda don't...but I'll take you up on that. Now I gotta get moving, already called my ride.
Roland Junior: So, you didn't win, did you...but did you hurt them real good?
Annie: I even put them in a Wrangler Lock, and all I could think while I locked it in...was that I wish that was you I was about to tap out!
Roland Junior: RC took his shot, guess I might have to give you yours some day...but don't expect me not to teach you the same damn lesson! You know...
---
Salvador Sosa: So the Frog Man wants to take his shot at Experto. Good luck to the green guy. So yeah, look who's back. That's right, yours truly, the Rudo Army Commander, the Grand Marshall is back in the driver's seat. And I got the undisputed Dominican Golden Championship.
Sosa holds up both the Interim and the Lineal belt, before turning around and handing the Interim belt over to Felix Santana Sr.
Sosa: Here you go, El Jefe. Appreciate you letting me do this the right way. I may have thrown a lot of shade your way for a long time, you might be an irritable old bastard, but you're a fair bastard. And you keep your promises. That means a lot.
Felix Santana Senior: It would not have been right to do otherwise. You are the man, for what that's worth. Be ready now. That belt means you have a lot of people gunning for you.
Sosa: Yeah, you don't have to make that any more clear. Way I see it, top priority to this goes to my main man, the Maple Leaf Maestro, Canadian Grizzly. Grizz would have gotten his shot at Dungeon if it took me any longer, and I bet he could have pulled it off. Damn, though, that's not saying it'd be easy for him. It sure wasn't for me. Dungeon about kicked my ass bad enough to make me regret coming back. But that's the funny thing. When you've been through as much as I have, returning from injury after injury, having to fight like a demon just to get back to the ring, you find out that you can take a hell of a lot. But here's the thing, Dungeon's kicked the crap out of a lot of people. He's had an aura, beaten people before the match started. But against me, he couldn't do that. And he wasn't used to someone taking the fight back to him. And that's what I did. Now, I heard Pequeno saying he wanted to send his hired hand up against the Lone Star. Fine by me. But if he wants another shot, just let me, or Grizz know after we finish what we got on the table.
Sosa: Also, one more thing before I go on my way. I heard Experto's giving the New Humanity the boot. Esteban Vargas also just got himself kicked out of Golden Touch's big exclusive club. Seems like he's become a bit of a misfit, a reject, an outcast. Sounds just like the criteria to join up with the Rudo Army. So, Vargas, if you're tired of being run around by people who just want to use your athletic ability for their goals, send me a message. The Rudo Army can be here for you, if you choose. We don't put any big expectations on our people. Only things we require are two things. First, you give your best for whatever you're doing. And second, you support your fellow soldiers, you stay loyal to the Army. That's all it takes. Let me know if you're interested.
---
Valentina Verda: Now that was a blast! Ibrahim Rahman really brought the best out of me, didn't he? I don't know if I've ever been tested like that before, and I only wish we could have rolled around for thirty falls instead of three, that's how much fun that was! Any time you want your rematch, you just have to ask for it, hot stuff! Now I have to figure out to do with this lil' ol' TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight title...there's so many options now, it almost overloads my poor head to think about it! So I'm thinking there's so many people who could get this, who should get a chance, and what I figured is that first show back, we're going to have Valentina's Date Night Invitational Jamboree! So at the start of the show, I'm picking four people, Hailey Comet, Mo Ramses, the Everyman and my bestie, Martina to enter into this, and then Commissioner Callahan picks the other four, the two teams fight each other, then the winners fight among themselves, and the winner gets a date with me in the main event with the Lone Star on the line!
Valentina: But after that's done, I have another rematch I'd like to make. If I do defend my belt, and I hope that I do, then there's a real big, exciting match I just want to grab and hold, and that's a match with that handsome dynamo, the African Supersensation, Jean-Pierre Mutombo. My TIPWF Lone Star belt on the line, his Office Number One on the line, double title match, I've shown I can pin anyone at any time, he's proven that he's the best, it just only makes perfect sense, doesn't it? Jean-Pierre's the biggest name in the TIPWF, and it's just an absolute shame nobody's talking about giving him a chance for this belt...so I'll speak out. He deserves this, just as I deserve another chance to be the Number One! Really, it's the only...
Persephone/Irkalla: All hail King Midas!
Persephone: Move along, move along.
Irkalla: Your leader has arrived.
Valentina: But I wasn't done!
Morgan "Midas" Matthews: You are now. I was running a bit late, the responsibilities of the Chairman are difficult to balance, but I am more than capable of handling it. Now, we have some rankings for the end of the year, do take your time to persue these as the current Number One and a few other individuals I have summoned make their way here.
---
Senatorial Office Rankings: December 2020
[Singles]
#1: Jean-Pierre Mutombo (Last Month: #1) The Charisma King remains the king of the Office itself, and with a successful defense of the Number One Ranking at Lariats and Legislators 2020 against Hobo Harry and Annie Chang, is still the man to beat. Mutombo's momentum has not slowed down one bit since the end of Pan African Wrestling.
#2: Salvador Sosa (Last Month: N/A) The reigning, undisputed Dominican Golden Champion jumped right to the top here with a decisive victory over the dominant Dungeon Dominguez to unify his title upon his return, an impressive enough feat to claim this spot.
#3: Young Blood (Last Month: #5) A demolition job on Warrior Pro champ, John Logan in a battle for Golden Touch supremacy nudges Young Blood back up the ranks a few spots. His volatile, mercurial approach may prevent him from taking full advantage, however.
#4 G.P. Christopher (Last Month: #3) GPC has kept up the most active schedule of anyone in the Office, cleaning out the L-Pro main event scene, and a win over Crusher Honda prior to Honda's own one sided victory over formerly top five ranked Mr. Moonsault are as impressive as anything in the Office, but a loss to Phoenix Rising's Todd Colton may have been the main reason for a slight drop in his ranking.
#5 Andronicus Turner (Last Month: N/A) Turner's back to back wins over Rory Banner and Ewan Jacobs are as impressive as any competitor's in the last month, with the Kronk Gym product representing his boxing background in brilliant form.
[Team]
#1: Bingo Hall Mutants(Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) (Last Month: N/A) Reclaiming their titles from the PEWA's Most Hated in an effortless fashion and crushing the SWA's top team in the Vanishing bring the Office's all time greatest team back on top of their perch.
#2: Black Star Cyclones(Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe) (Last Month: #1) The Cyclones remain right next to the Mutants in the Office's hierarchy, with Al-Amin and Dogboe's only weakness being a duo in the TIPWF where the tag titles require a trio. However, neither of the two are lacking in allies, with multiple configurations available, as they remain in possession of the Pan African Tag Championship as well
Cogburn Ranch(Cowboy Johnston, Duke Cogburn and Generalissimo Kool Q) (Last Month #2) Although the champion configuration of the Ranch listed here did not compete at Lariats, Johnston did captain a side that managed to take a commanding lead in an eventual draw against the dreaded Jackson Hole Outlaws at Lariats and the trio remains the team to beat in the TIPWF's stacked trios division.

Midas: Very well then, now that you know how the rankings break down, I introduce to you, the Senatorial Office Number One, Jean-Pierre Mutombo!
Jean-Pierre Mutombo: Greetings and salutations, people of the Senatorial Office, media members and fans around the world! It is I, Jean-Pierre, your Number One, your Pan African Champion, your Man of Unity, your African Supersensation, your Charisma King! It is truly such a wonderful feeling to know that the energy of all of you flows through my body and can do such amazing things! Hobo Harry is a great fighter and he is still a champion! Beating him was very difficult, but I am proud to have done it! Annie Chang, you have a special spirit for the fight! Do not stop believing you can win it all! I will see you again! Now I see Valentina Verda over here, and I believe I heard the words come out of your mouth that you wish to challenge me!
Midas: No, Valentina does not. I am working on putting together a Sosa-Christopher match for the next Golden Touch for your future challenger while you defend your Pan African Championship on that show against Thunder Fist.
Mutombo: I will be a fighting champion Give me all the challenges! Give me Thunder Fist, give me Sosa, GPC, Valentina, give me all of them, because I can beat all of them, and if I do not beat them, then they are the one who deserves to be the Number One!
Valentina: I am a little busy this January, so I'm sorry to say we must delay...but I will be ready for you when it's time.
Mutombo: It will be a great match!
Midas: You're all had your piece now, move along, I have more business to address here.
Mutombo: But I have not yet properly thanked the people for...
Midas: Enough! Now, concerning my Golden Touch VIP Club, you all saw what happened on Night One. Young Blood reverted to his usual form and instead of seeking my favor, he indulged his nature as he usually does. He could not beat John Logan in the middle of the ring. Instead, he felt he had to make a statement by injuring my prize acquisition. Therefore, my announcement concerning the captaincy of the VIP Club is that John Logan will be named the new Captain of the Club. And furthermore, as long as he is out on injury, Young Blood will face members of the ENHANCE team, with John Logan at ringside to provide guidance and advice for him. I hope that this mentorship program will teach Young Blood how to better control his temper and that he may become a valued member of my exclusive Club over time as a result.
Midas: Next, speaking of individuals who have a habit of making poorly considered choices, I would like Anthony Kalb up here at the secondary podium. Mr. Kalb, I think you know why you are here. Although I did not call for you, Mr. Fitsharris.
Kevin Fitsharris: It was all me!
Midas: Excuse me?
Fitsharris: We all know this is about Senator Phillips!
Midas: As a matter of fact, it is. Mr. Phillips is expressly included on the list of banned individuals for our programs. You both knew this. And yet, you let this politician on air on my biggest show of the year. This is not a minor infraction.
Fitsharris: Yeah, I'm the one who did it. I let him in the back door, got him to the entrance, surprised the hell out of Kalb! And I'd do it again!
Anthony Kalb: And let me say if you fire Fitsy, you might as well fire me, too. Because I'm not sticking around if he's not helping me manage the paperwork and the idiots. And good luck running this place without both of us.
Midas: I see.
Kalb: Hey, I didn't ask him to show up, but I wouldn't turn him away for anything in the world. Steve Phillips is the reason I'm still in this business, he's the reason both Fitsy and I actually decided to make something of our lives! And I know you have your problems with him, but damn it, I'm not backing down on this one! The fans loved seeing him out there, and I was that much more motivated against Geese Walker, so you won out, too!
Midas: I will not have him here undermining my authority, am I clear on this point?
Fitsharris: Yep, crystal, sure thing!
Kalb: Far be it for me to stick my foot down my throat that much worse, but here goes, anyway. Are you so scared of Senator Phillips that you can't even let him stand at ringside? What's the matter, you have flashbacks from the time he outmaneuvered you and turned back your hostile takeover at the last moment? You got most of what you ever wanted with the Office now, so why not let that go?
Midas: This had better not be a case for his continued presence.
Fitsharris: Maybe it is, maybe it isn't....
Kalb: It is, actually. Because he's still back there, and told me he wants to say a few things here.
Midas: No! No! Absolutely not! Consider this press conference over, done, finished, complete! Cut the feed, and send everyone out of this building!
---
Kevin "The Internet" Anderson: This is World Wrestling Daily Digest Editor in Chief, Kevin Anderson, and I have one hell of an exclusive for all of you here tonight. Right outside the Capitol Arena, I'm standing here in the parking lot with none other than Senator Steve Phillips! Word has it that you were going to speak in there to the press, but Midas Matthews unceremoniously gave everyone the boot before he would allow that to happen. How do you feel, coming back here for the first time since your retirement, Senator?
Senator Steve Phillips: How do I feel, you ask? A plethora of emotions, a swirling miasma of varying sensations runs through my head at this precise point in time. But I would be entirely dishonest if I would deny that exhilaration in witnessing the valor of Mr. Kalb's efforts was not amongst those feelings. Seeing him and Mr. Walker in action brought back a nostalgic twinge, if you will. Now, before I return to the subject of professional wrestling, I will use this platform for another purpose, with your consent, Mr. Anderson.
Anderson: Permission granted.
Senator: You see, I have been in the political fight of my life over this last election cycle back in the state of Illinois. For three terms, I have served as a United States Senator for my home state, running and winning as an Independent, a true fighting maverick. This role was beneficial for myself and for the people of my state and the nation as a whole, as I found I could approach issues from angles that neither of the monolithic party structures or the Washington establishment would allow for, and I could build unlikely alliances and seek unorthodox solutions for the issues that plague us all. But over time, the powers that be ceased to find amusement in my atypical presentation and the polarization in the public meant that there was much less room for me to maneuver within. As such, in my 2020 race, I faced a challenge from the establishment that brought my contest right up to the razor's edge, within the margin of error. With the recounts tabulated, I have no choice now, but to concede. Congratulations, Mr. Durbin. You have succeeded.
Phillips: I presume within the wrestling world, I shall always carry the title of Senator, even if it shall become inaccurate now. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of making this announcement on your own platform. I harbor no love towards the Washington media and World Wrestling Daily Digest has always carried itself with honor and distinction within the industry. Now, I believe you may indeed have some questions concerning my involvement here on tonight.
Anderson: I do, and you know I do. So, from what I could gather, you were called in by Kevin Fitsharris to be at ringside.
Phillips: That would not entirely be the case. As it was, I first contacted Mr. Fitsharris to lay the groundwork for a potential visit. He engaged in the proper reconnaissance and returned to me with the optimal plan for my approach.
Anderson: And why exactly now?
Phillips: While I have never fully disengaged from retaining an interest in the happenings of the Office, I have not had the time nor the energy until recently to take any further steps. With my impending departure from the political realm, with an increased realization that my writings on "The Janus Solution: How to Bridge the Gaps in a Divided Nation" would not find much of a receptive audience, I now found that I had an irrepessable desire to do something related to my old pursuit.
Anderson: Obviously, Midas thinks you still wish to return to running the Office.
Phillips: Oh no, Mr. Anderson, not at all. Anthony Kalb served splendidly in the Chairman's role, and that was without even a hint of my assistance. As things go, the Office has been rapidly moving away from my ideals since Mr. Kalb lost his position, but that is not my war to wage any longer. Let me say, however, that no matter how tough the times have been, I still believe in the principles that I promoted. I do not approve of the consolidation of the Affiliates. The dissolution of Pan African Wrestling is a terrible mistake. But again, the promoters placed their trust in Mr. Matthews's hands. This is their choice, and if it has already backfired upon them, then they only suffer from the mistakes of their own making.
Anderson: Now I know the pulse of the IWC, and I know that right now, the internet is lighting up with people wondering if now that you're out of politics, if you're going back in the ring. Is this a possibility?
Phillips: I can confirm right now, that it is absolutely not going to happen. My in-ring career is done. My last match and my final run was as close to perfection as I could have ever asked for. I will not sully those memories with an unworthy effort. Physically, I should not even have been able to do what I did at that point, and I am a year older now. There comes a point where one chooses to realize their own limitations. I know mine and both mentally and physically, I am in no condition to return to the ring.
Anderson: But that leaves open other possibilities, doesn't it?
Phillips: On that point, I shall simply answer by pleading the 5th.
Anderson: Finally, my fellow editor, and your old friend, Maxwell McNally told me I had to ask you this.
Phillips: Oh no, I know well what Maxwell wishes to inquire upon...
Anderson: He told me I must ask about your relationship with Aoife Daley, if you and her are considering marriage yet, and if you plan for children.
Phillips: Tell Mr. McNally that Aoife sends her appreciation, as do I. And you may also relay this information to him; Aoife has her own career goals that she yet wishes to accomplish before we pursue that route. But I will add that I am entirely open to both options, all the more so, at this point in time.
Anderson: So, before I let you go, anything else you want to say?
Phillips: Yes, I want to thank you, the fans, my constituents and all the individuals who make up the Senatorial Office, from the ring crew to the broadcast technicians, from the security staff, to the backstage officials. I want to thank you all for all you did while I was a part of this institution, and for managing to continue through difficult times. It was a joy to see that, disagreements with direction aside, the Senatorial Office yet stands strong and is primed to maintain its momentum into the future, and that, my friends, is nothing...but the truth.

Hello, this is Senatorial Office Head of Operations, Anthony Kalb. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year in 2021, and I'd like to announce that tonight, I managed to convince Midas to allow me to run Office Party #14 at the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center. We've got half an hour to make do with whoever shows up tonight at the gym. There's just one single guaranteed match on the card, and that's Fitsharris and I going up against Strong Style Royalty, G.P. Christopher and Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi of Lightning Pro. Past that, it's whatever we can fit on the card in the time we got. I mean that, by 8:30 PM, Central Time, whatever match is running will finish out and Sakura Pro goes on the air. So before that, we'll have ourselves a quick little show to open up the new year, and I hope you'll join us on the Senatorial Streaming Service!
Office Party #14 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, January 1st at the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center in Washington, DC
Preliminary Main Event The Capitalists(Anthony Kalb and Kevin Fitsharris) vs. Strong Style Royalty(G.P. Christopher and Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi)

With technical difficulties forcing a day's delay, Office Party #14 expanded into a full show, with some lesser seen members of the roster enjoying the spotlight in a variety of cross-promotional matchups. RESULTS Office Party #14 8:00 PM (CT) on Saturday, January 2nd at the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center in Washington, DC Cogburn Ranch(Duke Cogburn and Generalissimo Kool Q with Hailey Comet) vs. Limbtakers(Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising) and Ruthless Nichole Alger with Dangerous Nicholas Alger) With Hailey Comet at ringside for the Cogburn's Old Guard crew, and UCSS Commissioner, Dangerous Nicholas Alger in the Limbtaker's corner, the stage was set for a fast paced, entertaining battle. Kool Q's old school Brooklyn roughhouse tactics and Duke Cogburn's Texas style brawling managed to keep the two veterans in the fight, and it would take an exceptional combination from the Limbtakers to overcome their threat, with Alger landing a release German to set up a running high knee from Monroe, which in turn staggered Duke Cogburn enough for RNA to lock in the Ruthless Armripper scissored kimura lock. A worthy main event and a proper conclusion to a belated, but enjoyable Office Party. Ayako Miyamoto vs. Margarita Morales Ayako Miyamoto's suplexes were reasonably effective, but she was never able to connect with her "perfect" German, and as a result, the veteran Morales was able to induce some sweet dreams with the Dulces Suenos double armbar triangle hold. Margarita Morales was not been on the radar for Santana Family Wrestling or the TIPWF in 2020, but a win like this could change that in short order. Daniel Ness vs. Jamie Tomasi Daniel Ness took a break from running the Dwight Gym to compete against the recently promoted Thiago Gracie BJJ black belt, and while Ness didn't humiliate himself, Tomasi was simply on another level, never looking to be in trouble and won with his double arm suplex armbar variation, the Tomasi Special. PEWA's Most Hated("Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde and Jeffery Janson) vs. The D-Team(Astrid Johanneson and Freight Train McMichaelson) While the D-Team's beloved Chicago Bears were able to make the playoffs(on a frustrating loss, even so), the team of the Freight Train and Astrid just couldn't come through here, despite a spirited effort. PEWA's Most Hated endured some potent offence from the Chicago duo, and showcased some exceptional double team aptitude, even connecting on a double corner whip combo at one point, before Jeffery Janson put Johannson away with the Full Janson full nelson camel clutch. Opaque vs. Princesa Torbellina The diverse skillset of Opaque was in full effect here, landing big power backbreakers, intricate submissions, diving elbow attacks and the Opacity Flip standing Spanish Fly before rolling Torbellina up with a classic counter. Princesa never even had a chance to get started. Takayuki Ueda vs. Diego Santana The L-Pro super rookie Ueda was able to keep pace with the Rudo EX aligned Santana, but Ueda had nothing in his arsenal that Diego hadn't experienced in his own prior excursions in Japan. After a series of leglocks, kicks and big head drops, Santana would eventually lock in the Slow Burn wrenching Stretch Plum hold for the win. While Ueda was far from the win here, he showed that he could compete, and will have gained valuable experience against a dangerous opponent with this one. Preliminary Main Event The Capitalists(Anthony Kalb and Kevin Fitsharris) vs. Strong Style Royalty(G.P. Christopher and Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi) While Strong Style Royalty entered into this match as heavy favorites, especially considering GP Christopher's recent rout of Kevin Fitsharris at Lariats and Legislators 2020, this ended up being a surprisingly strong showing for the Capitalists, who took their foes past the half hour mark and controlled the match in the late going, leading to a diving leg drop from Fitsharris to gain the pin and the win over GPC. --- Match of the Night: Cogburn Ranch vs. Limbtakers -The best match of the night finished out the show, with all four competitors putting together a quality showing, and the finish was one for the ages. Performer of the Night: Kevin Fitsharris and Anthony Kalb -The Capitalists won a big upset, but with Kevin Fitsharris gaining a pinfall win over GPC, he not only earned a great win, but found some degree of retribution for his one sided loss at Lariats. --- G.P. Christopher: So, we're one and one now, aren't we? Kevin Fitsharris: Sure am! Hey, maybe I just punched my ticket for a shot at that Medal of yours... GPC: Nah. Kevin Fitsharris: What do you mean, "nah?" GPC: I mean, I got about five people ahead of you for that, think you want to jump past Nishmura Endo in line? Besides, I wiped the mat with you, one on one. And you don't want any part of the Destructive Duo. Trust me, Kalb might think he wants that action, but you don't. You really don't. Fitsharris: Yeah, Kalb's got a death wish. And I really should know better. Mina'd tell me I should. Hell, my kids would tell me I should know better. But you know what? Go ahead, tell those two gal pals of yours that we're looking for a shot. GPC: Can't say I get why you'd do that, but you want it, I'll pass the word along. Just don't go crying when they do what they do... --- Diego Santana: (Translated from Spanish) <Good a time as ever to announce this.> Senora Conquistadora <Best to do this here and now.> Diego: <First, Takayuki Ueda, thank you for a very good match. You have a strong future, my friend! Some day, you will be the one showing the young ones what it takes to be a man, to be a woman in this game!> Senora: <But the message that we wish to make is that we are both done with Rudo EX.> Diego: <It is true. We have no problem with El Experto. But we think we are not helping with the mission of the group. And being part of Rudo EX is not helping us make the best of our careers.> Senora: <We wish to climb up to the next level, and we cannot do that when we rank below everyone else in Rudo EX, when we are not going to ever have a chance to be important, with Experto back, he does not need our help anymore, with Colossus, New Humanity, with Itzcoatl, Poison Froggy, with his alliance with Dungeon and Paco, he has enough strength and influence to rule the TIPWF. He does not need us riding on his boot laces.> Diego: <Hey, I don't hold grudges. I only joined for my Senora here. But we figure if we make this call now, Experto has time to do what he needs to make up for us leaving.> Senora: <Not that we figured in his plans anymore, anyway!>

That's eight hard earned dollars off and you'll unlock all of our top quality editorial writing, including our Monthly Roundtables, the massive ratings archive of Dave Doolittle and so much more. We thought we'd make this available to non-subscribers not just to show you what you can get with a Premium Insider account, but also, to present an essential recap to the internet community as a whole. Anderson: Now, before I get started here, I have one item to address, as I'm excited to announce right here that WWDD has added a new member to our senior editorial staff, a man who needs no introduction for you, the hardcore wrestling fans, that's right, if we didn't already have the top experts in the IWC on our staff, we went out and added a true legend in the game, none other than "Textbook" Tim Dwight! And we have him here for this Roundtable. "Textbook" Tim Dwight: It's a pleasure and an honor to be here with all of you. And since I know that World Wrestling Daily Digest loves an exclusive, let me bring you one of mine as I inform the public that I'm officially bringing my in-ring contributions in professional wrestling to an end. Now, that does not mean I am done assisting my daughter, Della's career. And while Daniel Ness now runs my Dwight Gym on a day to day basis, I think I can find a new way to spread my decades of knowledge to the community, with my new feature for WWDD, Textbook's Corner, where I'll fill you in on the nitty gritty details concerning signature moves or a wrestler's gameplan. Tonight, though, I'm just happy to sit in here with some familiar faces and some of the biggest names on this side of the game. Maxwell McNally: It's a pleasure to see you again, Timothy. You and I go back to those halcyon days of Alpha Championship Wrestling, as does Mr. Edison. "Fast" Eddie Edison: Not wrong, Maxie, and it'll be good to have someone else here who can properly reminisce on the old days, unlike Digital Dave. "Digital" Dave Doolittle: You know I've been in this business longer than you, Eddie. Edison: So? You just type and talk at your computer! I've been in the danger zone announcing for AAW, I've felt the splatter of blood and cheap beer, I've felt the cheers of the crowd and the shockwaves of the explosives. But fine, because I'm a good guy, and because everyone else doesn't want to hear me keep going on this, but mostly because I'm a good guy, I'll admit that you're an indispensable figure in wrestling journalism. Anderson: With that out of the way, let's get started here. PEWA Kevin Anderson: So, starting off with the PEWA, the Office's first official Affiliate Promotion has had a solid year all around. They had Young Blood run through the roster until Kevin Royce managed to put him down. Hobo Harry had an improbable run that led to his own championship win. The tag division has seen a variety of teams proving their mettle, but none more than the old standbys, the Bingo Hall Mutants. The PEWA went from splitting off members into Highway Outlaw Wrestling into absorbing the promotion, and also made a few big pickups from Pan African Wrestling. It's had a great relationship with Evergreen Wrestling and continues to carry the banner for hardcore wrestling.
Edison: They've had a good year. With AAW having a break, hardcore nation needed somebody to pick up the slack, and they did their part. Didn't help that they lost their biggest star in Young Blood. But I'd say that the PEWA managed to present an adequate offering to the Just Bleed God in the year.
Digital Dave: Looking at the new year, Hobo Harry as their top man will be beneficial for the PEWA, he's extremely popular and puts on highly rated matches. He can't keep this up for much longer at his age, but for now, he's still at his very best. I think Luke Powers is due for a big run again. He's worked hard to get himself back into championship form and overcame that upset to Zanca. The tag division is utterly stacked, all the more with the addition of the Highway Outlaw roster, with the Cruisers playing the gatekeeper role. I predict that Tomas and X-KIRA are the ones to finally overcome the Mutants but they will have a lot of competition for the chance. Annie Chang will try to make the most of her high profile, but she's still not ready for regular main event bookings. If there's going to be any big shakeup for the PEWA, I predict a Young Blood return as he wages war against the older part of the roster.
McNally: I would find that to be rather unlikely, if only because he is entirely preoccupied with the struggle for the Golden Touch VIP leadership, and all the more so due to Biff Taylor's refusal to move past his acrimonious departure from the organization.
TIPWF Dwight: The TIPWF has to be considered the top fed in the Office now, doesn't it? Even before adding in a large part of the Pan African roster, even before merging with Santana Family Wrestling, the TIPWF had a thriving main event scene and a very competitive trios division...and my personal favorite, the Old Guard division. Add in some hefty Warrior Pro and Phoenix Rising connections and it almost seems unfair! With all those additions, I could even see the TIPWF splitting entirely from the rest of the Office and doing well enough to run a weekly program!
Edison: They'd be crazy to do that, or would they? It's an embarrassment of riches, and if Midas knows what he's doing, he's going to move some people around sooner than later to even some stuff out. I mean, seriously, do they need Mutombo on top of everybody else they just picked up?
McNally: I personally see no need for such rash adjustments. Let things play out, I say, and if it becomes obvious that the TIPWF can't handle the load or if one of the other organizations is in need of an addition, then you negotiate. But for now, I would like to see how this incredibly deep talent base can be properly utilized. And first and foremost, what I believe must happen, is a title for title encounter between Jean-Pierre Mutombo and Valentina Verda. The Senatorial Office Number One Ranking and the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight title, it is almost inevitable that this match takes place.
Digital Dave: I would not agree that it's anything of the sort. Big time matches have a habit of falling through the cracks. And Verda blew a shot at the Number One not all that long ago against Young Blood. Why risk the Office's top star now against a flash pin specialist?
Dwight: What's the problem with flash pins or technicians?
Digital Dave: They result in underwhelming, disappointing matches.
Dwight: I disagree. A quick pin is impressive and memorable. I'd rather see a three minute cradle over a twenty five minute gas out borefest any day of the week.
Edison: I bet that the latter would get a hundo.
Anderson: Back to the subject, one question of interest in the TIPWF surrounds the Dominican Golden Championship. Salvador Sosa has never looked better since he returned from injury, and some might claim that the Golden Championship might potentially surpass the Lone Star in prestige, or is already there. Do you agree with this?
Digital Dave: The promotion is not going to treat it as the top belt, but effectively, I think it's just as important already, for two reasons. First, the DGC is inarguably the workrate title for the TIWPF now. Since the people who primarily target the belt are the Santana family and their old rivals, you will mostly see fast paced Lucha Libre style matches for it. These are the matches that the IWC will want to see more than anything else. Then you have the fact that Salvador Sosa is in my opinion the real top performer in the Office today, and that elevates the DGC even higher, as Sosa, upon unifying the lineal and interim versions of the belt, clearly demonstrated that nobody at this point in time, can match him in his combination of ability and performance quality.
Wacker Drive Revival Anderson: So, with Wacker Drive Revival, we have a fed that has clear financial issues due to a vacant home base, with a roster approach that is obviously less efficient than any other promotion in the Office. Midas himself has said he wants to shut it down and fold part of the roster into Lightning Pro. Does Wacker Drive stick around in the new year?
McNally: I would certainly hope so. While a team based promotion may well be disadvantaged in the here and now, and while my friend, Robert Montgomery may be struggling to keep his finances balanced, Wacker Drive Revival offers a unique approach with The Loop and gives opportunities to a wide range of talent that you might otherwise not be able to see.
Dwight: I know that when Della was deciding which fed to choose, that even though Big Robert dunked me on my head, and even at that time, I was just about ready to call it a day, that I still seriously thought about calling up Daniel Ness and joining the promotion as a Dwight Gym stable. There's something about the fellowship of the teams that draws me to the Wacker Drive shows. The D-Team are the best champs to hold The Loop in this time, aside from his match at Lariats with Crusher Honda, Mr. Moonsault has been tremendous lately, and the rest of the group holds their own. Looking ahead, I think Bemba's Royal Court is going to shake things up a lot, I just don't see them not holding the trophy before halfway through this year.
Edison: King Bemba's seriously legit, I'm not going to argue that one. I'd personally like to see NBNF jump back up to the top, they put in some serious effort last year to refresh themselves, at least, as far as they could without ditching the D-X stuff, and adding Total MDK to the roster was great. The group's killed it in Sakura Pro, and hey, you know me, if they bring the hardcore, I'm with them. So I'm going to say that NBNF are going to head back to the top in 2021.
Digital Dave: The thing with Wacker Drive is that Midas wasn't entirely wrong. If you were looking to trim down the roster, ending the team concept, you'd probably be able to axe two thirds of the roster and they'd be a great addition to Lightning Pro.
McNally: And I for one would be vehemently opposed to such butchery.
Lightning Pro Anderson: Lightning Pro is a promotion that seems to be in fairly good shape in 2021. GP Christopher may stretch himself thin with his schedule, but when he fully applies himself, he's proven himself to be one of the best champions in pro wrestling. The Destructive Duo have again claimed the Tag Medals, and I can see them holding onto those for the entire year. The roster has a strong mix of dominant veterans and hungry young talent.
Edison: Sheesh, keep slobbering over them, Anderson. L-Pro's looking pretty good, but they're just a few injuries away from some major issues and I personally have some problems with the booking. First off, they center things around GPC too much. He's reshaped their show structure around his big ego and in turn, they've made him far too much of the focus of their efforts. He's great, but he's not so great that you let him do whatever he wants and make him your whole show, damn it. And they play far too many favorites with the booking. Guys like Tarkhan and Sam Hall should have title shots. Instead, Tarkhan gets hurt messing around in the midcard and Hall has to work his ass off just to get booked at all. They need a few monsters who can push Honda to her limit, not saying there's a lot of those around, but that's something they need to work on. I don't know, I just have some personal issues with how they run things.
Digital Dave: I disagree. L-Pro generally knows how to garner high ratings on a consistent basis, and GPC has passed every test they've given him. He's earned the right to make his demands. They do a great job building up young talent into the midcard, and get great matches out of them for most of the show. And Tarkhan would have his shot if he didn't carelessly get himself injured. He was scheduled for one before that happened. Sam Hall just has authority issues. He's an outsider, blacklisted in his own home state of Texas, he doesn't show respect for Shima Ito, he got himself suspended for months when he and Roland Chang attacked Kevin Anderson and wrecked the Beltway. He's just too much of a risk and even though he's extremely talented, I entirely get why he doesn't get pushed more.
Edison: Look, if he doesn't do jack squat, he doesn't even get on the card. He complains, and they tell him to shut up, and he still doesn't get booked. Hall's got too much to offer, and he's too entertaining to bury like this, if L-Pro doesn't want him, then they can ship him off to the PEWA...or AAW.
Anderson: So, before we move on, I do have to ask, who gets the Medal off GPC in this year, if anyone?
Dwight: I'm going out on a limb and I'm going to say that Ibrahim Rahman manages the deed. Christopher has trouble with technical specialists as Todd Colton's proven multiple times, and he's pretty much wiped out most of the heavy hitters. I know Endo has a chance here on this month, and I've heard names like Thunder Fist thrown around, but I think Rahman has the best chance.
UCSS Anderson: Universal Combat Shoot Style has experienced an eventful time in December, with Andronicus Turner forming Sweet Science Society and finally beating Rory Banner for the Openweight title, Jamie Tomasi earning his black belt from Thiago Gracie, Candace Monroe winning a title shot, it seems that there's been a major shift in UCSS.
Dwight: I might be a bit biased here, since my daughter wrestles in UCSS, but I'm extremely excited for what's in store. Andronicus Turner has proven that boxing can work in pro wrestling with the right approach and I honestly think nobody in the entire Office can stand across from him and last for long without a dedicated plan. Jamie Tomasi's a future star, his Jiu-Jitsu is spectacular, I might even say, in a way that Thiago Gracie's is not. It's entirely adapted to the pro wrestling format, without losing its effectiveness, and really the only thing holding Tomasi back at this point is that he still looks like a scrawny surfer kid who walked into the ring, and he hasn't really learned how to promote himself just yet. And you mentioned the Turner-Monroe bout that's coming up. That is one I'd personally love to break down in a future WWDD column, a fascinating tactical clash on paper.
McNally: I, for one, am very much pleased that we do not have to endure any more of Rory Banner's "Big Banter" as the champion any longer. It is my utmost hope now that Virgil de Boer and Sanem Becker might split from his Brand in the near future, as each of them are likable, talented stars in their own right and are being held back at this point by their association with Banner, just as Andronicus Turner was. We have seen what it did for Turner to walk his own route, and I believe de Boer and Becker could each compete in the main event if they follow the same course.
Digital Dave: One thing we're seeing is that for the most part, the first generation of UCSS is giving way to the new. Thiago Gracie may not have retired, but he's not fighting for the Openweight anymore, relinquishing that goal to Tomasi. Nicholas Alger is still capable, but he's not likely to challenge anymore for the title, no need. Gang Wong has dropped out of that upper echelon. And Banner is likely to take a step back into a managerial role, he's too busy chasing celebrity clout and business ventures to seriously compete again with a hostile commissioner blocking the easy route back to the belt. What we now have are the fresh, hungry fighters looking to prove themselves, like Andronicus Turner, Candace Monroe, Jamie Tomasi.
Edison: Now, if you'd let me jump in here for a minute, let me just say that while I enjoy UCSS for the most part, they did something really stupid. Who runs a shoot style sporting focused promotion and creates a set of tag titles for it? That entirely kills the whole point of it! On one hand, we're talking about "strictly enforced rules" and "serious sporting environment" and then you throw in tag belts for the usual mess that tag matches are! What sense does that make? It's completely contradictory!
Dwight: Eddie, you do know UCSS has been running standard rules tag matches the entire time it's been around, don't you?
Edison: Yes! And it still doesn't make any damn sense!
Dwight: For me, it seemed that it was a perfect opportunity to mix things up and to give more chances on the card for those who were not in line for a title opportunity. It is shoot style professional wrestling, not pure mixed martial arts, after all.
Edison: Still don't like it.
SWA Renewal/Golden Touch Promotions Anderson: And this brings us to the Non-Affiliates. With the recent deal, the SWA has joined closer to the Office, and has somewhat changed its role in co-promoting with UCSS in the broadcast cycle, as opposed to running separate programs from California, it will ship its roster to Washington DC for showtime. The SWA are currently in a quandary, with the All American Athletes dominating the main event scene, with the Vanishing dropping their tag titles due to injury, with potential threats from Rory Banner's Big Banter Brand dropping into the Prestige Division, it's not a good time for the fan favorites in the SWA.
Digital Dave: The SWA can put on top notch matches when they're at their best. And with the Vanishing out, I'm hoping that gives a chance to teams like Renacimiento and the Canadian Dream Team to put on some great, competitive matches for the belts. And in a way, it's best that they lost the way they did, to the best team in the industry. That's not nearly as bad as the Athletes losing to the Mercenaries in Exile. Not that the Warbringers don't have potential and great match quality or Barlowe isn't skilled, but those three aren't main eventers representing their promotion. I have some good connections telling me the Athletes are furious and will be taking it out on the rest of the SWA roster on upcoming shows.
Anderson: And for Golden Touch Promotions, I have a feeling that upcoming shows might be trending somewhat away from the supermatch format and more towards focusing on the structure of the VIP Club. John Logan being named the captain even after, in fact, due to Young Blood destroying him at Lariats will light a fire under both men, and I personally see this as the rivalry to watch for the year, regardless of promotion. This has the potential of a "Mega Power Explode" buildup to a major confrontation.
Edison: No doubt about it, Young Blood is a bad man. And even though he beat Logan in the match, I think we're seeing a new side out of the Warrior Pro champ. He's playing the long game, and he might end up proving himself to be the perfect field marshall that Midas has always wanted for his VIP Club. The question I have to ask now is if Logan can get past his habit of completely shitting his pants on the big stage. I mean, how many times has he choked when it really counted after he won all the matches to put himself in place for a prize? Probably more times than I have fingers to count on...
McNally: What I would like to know now, is what role, if any, the former Senator from Illinois will play in the proceedings. We all know Steve Phillips lost his seat in the United States Senate. We also know that his old sidekicks, the Capitalists have been staying busy as of late. Without his usual political endeavors to occupy his waking hours, I cannot envision Steve Phillips sitting on the sidelines, not when he showed up at Lariats, not with the statements he made afterwards.
Dwight: As Steve's trainer for the last few decades, I absolutely think he's up to something. What I'm wondering, is how he deals with the ten ton golden gorilla in the room. Midas knows that just that little cameo was a statement of intent, that he wouldn't show up without a purpose. I think we're going to see a game of fourth dimensional chess going ahead here.

The PEWA welcomes the new year in its typical fashion, with blood, guts and broken light tubes on a show that looks to satisfy the hardcore faithful and fans of high impact wrestling alike. As always, the Ruler of the Road is on the line, as is a shot at the PEWA Extreme Tag titles, and with a frantic melee promised for the main event, this Friday should start things off with some of the good ol' ultraviolence. PEWA: Violence in the New Year8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, January 8th 2021 at the Charles Sumner Gymnasium in Washington, DC Main Event Hobo Harry, Luke Powers and Sylvain Mint vs. The Ritual of the Flame(The Cremator, Bath Salts Zombie, Zanca and Beatriz)Now under the penumbra of the House of Hammer, the Cremator's Ritual of the Flame cult has had a history of inflaming heated rivalries in the PEWA. Among those who have had serious issues with RotF members over the last year were the PEWA Extreme champion, Hobo Harry, the upcoming contender, Luke Powers and previous contender, Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint. A month away from Powers's upcoming attempt to reclaim the Extreme title against Harry, the two old allies have joined with Mint to form a super team with the hopes of taking care of some old business before the PEWA can move forward in 2021. While Mint, Powers and Harry will be taking on a three on four challenge in this match, the three appear confident in their ability to hold up their own end in what will promise to be a wild brawl of a main event. Ruler of the Road Title Bout Running Diamond Cutter Man(C) vs. Annie ChangHaving gained the Ruler of the Road title in a stunning upset over Big Clay Hurst, Jose Marin, the Running Diamond Cutter Man will defend what is now the secondary PEWA title against a fellow upstart overachiever in Annie Chang. While Anwar Omar had previously earned a shot at the belt with a win over the Equalizer, he graciously passed the opportunity along to Chang as she seeks to earn her first belt in the organization. Chang arrives here from an outstanding performance in defeat in the main event of Lariats and Legislators 2020, and in spite of her loss there, has all the momentum in the world on her side here. PEWA Extreme Tag Title #1 Contender Bout The Warbringers(Demarcus Browning(Blackrose) and Moustapha Ndour with Renate Barlowe) vs. Breakers' Revenge(Tomas the Tiny Giant and X-KIRA)Two teams born in 2020 will meet here to determine the next contenders for the Bingo Hall Mutants, with both Breakers' Revenge and the Warbringers demanding a shot after the Mutants obliterated the SWA's now-former champions, The Vanishing at Lariats 2020. The Warbringers have been outstanding in their Sakura Pro run and with a prior tenure with the Pan African Tag Championship, should be the clear favorites. The Breakers have not yet demonstrated their ability as a team, but one can only expect that Tomas and KIRA look to break some lights and both veterans have an aptitude for scoring knockouts with their high impact moves. Mina Fitsharris vs. Bodybreaker BrownThe second of two matches pitting the Wild Women against Mr. and Mrs. Brown, with PEWA Original Bodybreaker Brown making a rare solo stop in the ring against Mina Fitsharris. While Brown has the clear size advantage, and may be a bit better on the mat, Fitsharris's legendary toughness and explosive brawling style should make her the outright favorite of the two. Juliette Erving vs. Downtown Lucy BrownThe first of two singles matches between the Wild Women and Mr. and Mrs. Brown in which Juliette Erving meets up with former PEWA Extreme champ, Downtown Lucy Brown. Downtown Brown's mix of high flying agility and traditional hardcore bloodletting allowed her to become the first woman to ever claim the belt, but Erving's outlandish antics and roughhousing ways should make this as even a matchup as any on the card. Kantar(Evergreen) vs. Florida ManThe big bruiser received an invitation from the Bingo Hall Mutants to show up once again in the PEWA, and will have his hands full when he arrives with the ever-erratic Florida Man in the other corner. Kantar's previous run against the bulk of the PEWA's upper card resulted in a long list of victories for the Evergreen standout, and few expect him to deviate from his typical power based game plan against his present foe. Florida Man, for his part, generally nullifies any predictions within minutes, and one could paraphrase Sting when speaking of the Panhandle native in stating that "with Florida Man, the only thing for sure, is that nothing is for sure." Two on One Elimination Masked Maniac IV and Tracy Finn vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi KarnsteinFinally back in action, Masked Maniac IV joins up with the most hapless PEWA Original of the bunch in Tracy Finn in a most unlikely two on one match, against Sir Vladimir Henry. Sir Henry failed at several recent attempts at gaining control over the PEWA title, and looks to start from the bottom in his endeavor to deconstruct the very foundation of the organization, with his ever-present bloodlusted lover, Heidi Karnstein at ringside. Texas Rose and Fat Burner vs. The Equalizer and "Somalian Survivor" Anwar OmarFormer Highway Outlaw Wrestling ace, Texas Rose and her recent sidekick, Fat Burner will join forces to go up against two no-nonsense battle machines in the Equalizer and Anwar Omar. Omar recently defeated the Equalizer to earn a shot at the current Ruler of the Road champion, but passed temporarily on the shot to team with the Equalizer, with the two finding a common thread in their in-ring approach, in spite of their vastly divergent cultural upbringings. Both teams are making their debut here, and with the heavily competitive PEWA tag division, either one could throw a new twist into an already packed crowd.

The first big PEWA show of the year hits tonight at 8:00 PM, Central Time on the Senatorial Streaming Service! www.twitch.tv/senatorphillipsCome witness some of the best in hardcore action, with a jam packed main event, a #1 contender match for the PEWA Extreme Tag Titles, the Wild Women in singles action, guests from Blackrose/Sakura and Evergreen and much more! --- Luke Powers: The three of us, we've all had some issues with these jokers. Cremator's crew's been giving us all trouble. Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint: They tried to put me down, but I outwrestled Cremator and got out intact. Powers: I hear since they signed up with Sir Vlad that they're trying to botch up the whole title scene. So I called you guys up. Hobo Harry: And we're gonna get back at them, yeah we'll get at them before they get at us, 'cause that's what they're all about. I ain't holdin' grudges, but they tried causin' me trouble in the past, burnt my stuff in a dumpster, hahaha! But they didn't do nothin' to put me down, nah, I had a good run even after they tried that! Got me this shiny belt an' a bunch of big wins! Powers: Now, you and me, we got ourselves a little challenge scheduled for the near future, concerning that belt that you hold right now. Hobo: Yeah, we do, we sure do. Powers: But first, what we figured we need to do here, is to take care of this stuff first. You me, and Mint here, we all see eye to eye, the three of us all get that we beat the crap out of each other in the ring, we might bust some skulls, we might break some ribs, we might spill a gallon of blood, but we do it fair and square, we don't stab anyone in the back, we bust them in the face, face to face. It's the OG code of honor. Want to prove your the best, prove it straight up. That's how my man Hobo got himself in the main event of Lariats. Mint, you wouldn't want his belt if you couldn't get it the right way. Mint: No, I would not. What's the point if you had to bring your whole goon squad along and cheat? I win or I lose, but I do either honestly. Powers: So what we all figured was that whoever wins between Hobo and I, we're going to have to deal with these bozos sooner than later either way. So instead of waiting for them to pick us off after we go to town against each other, we'll do this here and now. We might be a man down... Hobo: Ain't no problem, nah, we got this three on four, three on five, three on eleven, we'll show them all, don't need anything more. Powers: Sure, there might be a lot of guys out back who'd step up with us, but we'll leave that spot open. We got all we need, and there's nothing that'll save the Ritual from the fury that we three can unleash! --- Annie Chang: Yeah, it was a good time. A little awkward. Dad and RC arm wrestled over the last drumstick...and Dad won because he stomped RC's foot, said "we didn't agree that wasn't against the rules!" and yeah, he was his usual self, mostly. Juliette Erving: Hah, you can't expect someone like that to change all the way, you know what they say about tigers and their stripes, don't you? Annie: Oh, don't I know it! But anyway, he even messaged me for tonight's match! Told me "Don't be a total loser! Use the Wrangler Lock!" Mina Fitsharris: Progress, I guess. Juliette: Hey, you got this, I mean, you're up against a one move wonder! The guy calls himself the Running Diamond Cutter Man, that's all he does! So if you don't let him run around, and you don't let him hit that big baaaad Diamond Cutter, you got this, girl! Mina: He's not that easy to beat, the man did beat Big Clay, you saw that. You still have to bring your best. But we both think you can go out there and win your belt here. Go rule that road, Annie. Annie: I don't know how to do anything but bring my best, that's all I do, and I enjoy every second of it! And you two got Bodybreaker and Downtown, I bet that'll be fun! Mina: Bodybreaker's always been tough...but I can handle tough. Juliette: Let me just be honest, I'm ready to go out there and win, but I'm really ready to go make Downtown leave Bodybreaker and give her a taste of what I can offer her! Mina: Ugh, seriously. Annie: Go for it, break 'em up! Mina: Again, ugh.

A shocking surprise return was the clear highlight of this event, with a number of quality matches and the typical blood and carnage that one expects with any PEWA event on full display. RESULTS PEWA: Violence in the New Year 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, January 8th at the Charles Sumner Gymnasium in Washington, DC Bonus Match P-Dogg vs. Kengo Tamura On a show with a number of standout matches, a bonus match with two twenty plus year veterans tacked on the end would be a surprising match of the night candidate. And yet, the original PEWA champ, P-Dogg and the Ronin, Kengo Tamura fought a classic hardcore battle, spilling blood in and out of the ring, Tamura scoring points with his stiff kicks, explosive lariats and neck compressing suplexes, while P-Dogg's old school brawling techniques kept him in the game and opened up a horrendous cut on his opponent. While Tamura's Delivery from Yokohama diving senton almost took the match at one point, it would be one more application of P-Dogg's double arm DDT, the PDT that would finish things off directly afterwards. Main Event Hobo Harry, Luke Powers, Sylvain Mint and Jack Fury vs. The Ritual of the Flame(The Cremator, Bath Salts Zombie, Zanca and Beatriz) Before the start of this match, it should be mentioned that while this was originally meant to be a three on four handicap match, a most unlikely return took place. None other than former PEWA Extreme champion and ace, Jack Fury showed up with Luke Powers, more than evening the odds. And as such, aside from a few bursts from Zanca and Bath Salts Zombie doing what he does, this was a one sided beatdown in favor of Hobo's dream team. Fury was in excellent shape, repeatedly attempting to gain a submission win with his Devil Lock scissored gorilla clutch, but it would be Sylvain Mint who scored the win when he knocked Beatriz out with a Mint Magnum pumphandle michinoku driver II. The Ritual of the Flame appears burnt out, and the Hobo-Powers title challenge will almost certainly take place without their shadow looming over, now. Ruler of the Road Title Bout Running Diamond Cutter Man(C) vs. Annie Chang Annie Chang's toughness made this a much more interesting match than it may otherwise have been, kicking out of multiple Running Diamond Cutters, including a gigantic high angle crucifix variation. Annie's own offence was on display, with her signature And She Got The Upset!! lifting swinging complete shot, her version of Juliette Erving's Conclusion and even a stolen Diamond Cutter of her own at one point. But even so, Jose Marin's own determination was not to be underestimated in its own right, and it would be one more Running Diamond Cutter from the Running Diamond Cutter Man to retain the Ruler of the Road. While Annie Chang came up short once again in a title opportunity, her reputation for putting on great matches keeps growing. PEWA Extreme Tag Title #1 Contender Bout The Warbringers(Demarcus Browning(Blackrose) and Moustapha Ndour with Renate Barlowe) vs. Breakers' Revenge(Tomas the Tiny Giant and X-KIRA) The Warbringers were in top form here, enduring the smash mouth attacks and light tube smashing of Breakers' Revenge, and both Browning and Ndour dominated stretches of the match before the latter crushed X-KIRA with a reverse chokeslam to win a knockout victory for the duo, gaining a shot at the Bingo Hall Mutants and their PEWA Extreme Tag titles. Mina Fitsharris vs. Bodybreaker Brown While Bodybreaker Brown has been less active over the last year, and some have speculated on the PEWA Original headed towards a role outside the ring, there were no signs of a decline in this match, with Brown working Fitsharris over from the start, and finishing her clean with his gory style pancake, the Snap Cracker. The Wild Women and Mr. and Mrs. Brown have ended up one and one with these singles matches, and it's almost certain that the two teams will meet in full in the near future. Juliette Erving vs. Downtown Lucy Brown A good fight that showed the wide range of Downtown Brown's skills, and while Juliette Erving seemed a bit lackluster after dominating the early match with repeated liplock attempts and a big piledriver, the Wild Woman would rally late to build up to her elevated swing neckbreaker, The Conclusion to score the victory. Kantar(Evergreen) vs. Florida Man Most everyone knew that Kantar would impose his destructive power game in this match. Most also knew that along with his erratic antics, that Florida Man would be able to take an unreal beating. This is exactly what happened, with Kantar hitting more than ten powerbombs total, utterly battering Florida Man for the bulk of the match. For his part, the Panhandle native simply kept kicking out, kept bouncing himself needlessly off the corner turnbuckles and managed to give the Evergreen main eventer a proper hardcore workout before a signature fireman carry swing out slam would finish the job. Easily one of the most entertaining bouts of the night, with both competitors shining brightly in their own way. Two on One Elimination Challenge Masked Maniac IV and Tracy Finn vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi Karnstein While Sir Vladimir Henry would likely have obliterated either the Maniac or Finn in a singles match, and likely done so under ten minutes, his arrogance proved his failing, consistently going for pins in the wrong corner, daring his foes to continue on, and eventually, the two on one attack would wear down on the Dark Master of the Occult, with Tracy Finn going to town with a sledgehammer and the Manaic hitting his vicious slide through DDT variation multiple times. It would be one more DDT from Maniac IV that would end the match, forty minutes in, hitting a Doomsday variation to score what has to be an upset over one of the most dangerous men in the organization. Texas Rose and Fat Burner vs. The Equalizer and "Somalian Survivor" Anwar Omar A relatively even match until Anwar Omar managed to wrench Texas Rose's neck with one of his signature side headlocks. While she survived by making it to the ropes, a takedown into a grounded side headlock would finish things off directly afterwards for the Somalian Survivor. The team of Omar and the Equalizer already looks to be one of the better pairings in the PEWA after this solid debut. --- Match of the Night: P-Dogg vs. Kengo Tamura -While the Kantar-Florida and Annie-RDCM matches were both high octane affairs, this bonus match hearkened back to the early days of the PEWA, with both grizzled veterans making the absolute best of their opportunity to remind the fans that they can still get the job done. Performer of the Night: Jack Fury -A number of people may have had better outright performances, but a surprise return after a year's retirement, and returning in good form was enough to give the award to Fury --- Injury Report Texas Rose: Strained Neck (Two Month Medical Suspension) -The side headlock of Anwar Omar cranked the former Ruler of the Road's neck badly, and as such, Rose will miss several months of action. Typically one of the more durable members of the roster, Rose will likely look to hasten her return. X-KIRA: Mild Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) -Planted face first with a reverse chokeslam from Moustapha Ndour, KIRA will miss several months due to standard issue concussion protocol. Tomas will have to seek out non-tag options for the duration, with Breakers' Revenge on a temporary pause. --- Kengo Tamura: (Translated from Japanese) <I have been here far too long. I returned for PEWA's 20th anniversary. I did not mean to stay a year. But it was not a good time for a ronin. Now I will move on, as I always have. Lightning Pro has answered my call. G.P. Christopher! I intend to fight you! Sam Hall, you are not prepared for what I will bring! Kosuke Arai! Do not think I have forgotten our previous encounters! Beware, Lightning Pro, for I return soon!> --- Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint: They did not think they had to fear me, not that I blame them. Not with you three with me out there. Hobo Harry: Nah, you just dumped that girl right on her damn head, hahaha! But tonight ain't about you, or me, or Luke! Tonight's about seein' the return of the big man! Luke Powers: Damn right it is, you know, I left the door open here, I know you've been working out a lot, seen some of those clips of you getting back to the deadlift. I figured even if you didn't show up, we'd be alright...but when we got Jack Fury back in action, nothin' out there stands a chance against us. Jack Fury: Simply put, I got damn sick and tired of sitting around. I did not wish to follow in the footsteps of those who allowed themselves to become a pathetic shell of their former selves in the ring. It is beyond my capacity to defeat Father Time, and when the reaper calls your name, that is the end, no matter what you try. I felt that if I could bookend my career with one more title win, twenty years later, that I could drift off silently into the dark night, knowing I did everything I wanted to do in this business, and I could accept the next phase of my life without struggle. Fury: But I lost in that attempt. The best I could do, and Young Blood made a point to demonstrate how far I had fallen at that point. So I knew I had to retire. I found myself waking up a bit later each day, having a bit less motivation to live with every week. And I knew that something had to change. I had a long conversation in my head. I realized that the reason I stepped away was not out of necessity, but ego. My arrogant desire to be remembered as a titan of the ring, a god of war. And I then told myself, that even if I did not follow through, that I should act as if I was going to fight again. Lo and behold, I reinvigorated myself with such an approach. I started pushing myself harder, working out every day. It was not without difficulty. My aging tissues and bones are diminished, of that I have no doubt. But I did not care. And then I receive a message from Powers. He tells me that there is an opening, if I want it. I did. And I took full advantage. And now I have returned, to professional wrestling, to the PEWA. I will be yet another old dilapidated fossil trying to retain some semblance of youth, and I will likely humiliate myself in the process as the young, fresh upstarts surpass me and reveal the shortcomings of my age and condition. But I will endure such defeats with defiance! I will shout into the void! I will raise my middle finger to the entropy of the universe itself and even as I myself may fall, I will fall fighting to the end! That is why I have returned, and that is why I will fight until I can fight no longer!

The Texas Independent Pro Wrestling Federation finally returns to the Stockade in Amarillo in the new year, and does so by demonstrating the deepest roster in the Senatorial Office, with a show stacked sky high with impressive, diverse talent, and with the newly-united Dominican Golden Championship and the TIPWF Old Guard titles on the line, the stakes are as high as ever. TIPWF: The Long Ride Home8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, January 15th at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX Main Event: Dominican Golden Championship Bout Salvador Sosa(C) vs. The New HumanitySalvador Sosa is seen by some to be the single most dominant performer in the entire Senatorial Office following his impressive win over Dungeon Dominguez at Lariats and Legislators 2020 to unify the Dominican Golden Championship in his return from a long injury layoff. The Rudo Army leader has not been shy from a challenge, as that match well demonstrated and this trait yet persists as Sosa puts his newly unified title up against Esteban Vargas. The New Humanity, almost undoubtedly the single most physically gifted athlete in the entire Office, has found himself unable to win when it matters, losing a humiliating match in Golden Touch Promotions to the ENHANCE jobbers that resulted in his departure from Midas's VIP Club, and dropping the fall in El Experto's return at Lariats 2020, leading the Rudo EX leader to give Vargas an ultimatum: "Defeat Sosa, or you're done." It might be strange for such an individual to be seen as a clear underdog, but even so, the New Humanity will have a difficult time here if he doesn't find a way to work past the mental issues that have held him back from reaching his lofty potential. Santanas vs. Rudo EX Felix Santana Senior, Felix Santana Junior and Felix Santana III vs. Dungeon Dominguez(Lucha POWER), El Experto and Itzcoatl Hernandez with Paco Pequeno(Lucha POWER)Three generations of Santanas will go up against a Rudo EX onslaught, with Felix Santanas Sr, Jr, and III taking on former Interim Dominican Golden Champion, Dungeon Dominguez, the Aztec Executioner, Itzcoatl Hernandez and the recently returned leader himself, El Experto, with the pesky Paco Pequeno at ringside. Experto's squad will face some major pressure in this one, with Rudo EX's failings at Lariats 2020 to secure the unified Dominican Golden Championship, or even to defeat Felix Senior and Junior in an ambush of a tag match. With a win, the Santana family could perhaps finally strike a decisive blow to move onto different endeavors in the TIPWF going forward, perhaps seeking out the Trios titles. TIPWF Old Guard Championship Bout Newfie George(ZIP Japan)(C) vs. Johnny SixnameThe Old Guard division is alive and well in 2021, and the dominant champion, Newfie George will again hang up his fishing rod and travel down from the lakes of Newfoundland to defend his belt, this time, against one third of the High Plains Drifters, the always-dangerous Johnny Sixname. Although Sixname's actual age is unknown to the public, Commissioner Callahan addressed a question with a simple statement; "He's damn well old enough as far as I care." While Sixname and his vicious piledrivers are as lethal as anything on the roster, Newfie still has to be the clear favorite here, having shown no signs of any weakness in any of his previous defenses, and may well manage to earn even greater opportunities in the TIPWF, if not for his sporadic, unpredictable ways. Cowboy Johnston vs. Mohammad RamsesTwo of the TIPWF's most impressive big men will square off in this match, with former Pan African Champion, Mohammad Ramses looking to earn a chance at Valentina Verda's TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight title in his promotional debut. For his part, Johnston, one part of the Cogburn Ranch's Trios champion team, is never far out of the hunt for the Heavyweight belt, and having recently overcome a competitive Tim Hurtz in a surprise Blackrose match, may be shooting more towards the Top Five Rankings than the gold at the moment, and defeating a foe on the level of Ramses will not hurt in such an endeavor. Ladies Night Out The Dynasty Cyclones(La Relampaga and Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe and Nefertiri) vs. Senora Conquistadora, Lila Gila, Felice Santana and Vice VersaLayla Al-Amin has an impressive array of friends. Esi Dogboe and Al-Amin are the second rated team in the entire Office with the Black Star Cyclones still holding the Pan African Tag Championship past the promotion's end. Nefertiri is a natural teammate, with her shared Egyptian roots. And Relampaga has been a trustworthy ally in Al-Amin's matches in Phoenix Rising. Put together, the Dynasty Cyclones will present a formidable threat to any team, even the hodgepodge quartet that the TIPWF has assembled here. With former Rudo EX member, Senora Conquistadora, Animal Farm's Lila Gila, the ever-acrobatic Felice Santana and the eWo's Vice Versa, the TIPWF side is certainly not lacking for talent, but can they work well enough together to match the Dynasty Cyclones? Hailey Comet vs. Professor Mark GizengaA stylistic clash with Hailey Comet's mix of high flying and western style brawling never looking better than at her return at Lariats 2020, and Professor Mark Gizenga's catch based mat style making for a drastic contrast. Gizenga had a reputation in Pan African Wrestling for playing the role of a spoiler, and infamously, stalling matches out with his near-infinite patience to force a mistake out of his opponents, but has worked hard as of late to take a more aggressive approach, as to better support Jean-Pierre Mutombo in their Congolese Connection team, a redirection that should serve the Professor well in the TIPWF. Whether this allows him to control the mat from start to finish, or if it leads him into defeat by means of Comet's ever-thrilling Southern Star Press, is the question to ask. The Mallard(MWWC) vs. El Hijo de MacchiatoThe Caffeinated Powerhouse will be the next on the list of the Mallard's opponents from the former Santana Family Wrestling and the current TIPWF roster to take on, and it would be entirely unexpected for this to be any less than a standout performance from both men. The Mallard has become a mainstay in the TIPWF during his excursion, and a major fan favorite, with the Amarillo crowd finally able to see him in person, persistently putting on some of the best matches of the night against a wide array of foes. Macchiato, the backbone stalwart of the Rudo Army, can keep pace with smaller, zippier opponents, and will be well tested here. Blue Collar Brawlers(The Everyman, "Long Haul" Lenny Broadway and Big Bubba Bob) vs. Rudo Army(Canadian Grizzly, Killer King Jones and Megan Chabot)The Cogburn Ranch has held the Trios belts with pride since defeating the High Plains Drifters, but this match should go a long way towards determining their next competitors. The Blue Collar Brawlers and the Rudo Army both could field varied lineups, with the entire rest of the Army in action, it falls to the default duo of Very Canadian, in Megan Chabot and Canadian Grizzly working alongside the hardcore legend and dubious "Eritrean Royal" Killer King Jones to go up against the hardest hitters of the Brawlers with the Everyman leading Lenny Broadway and Bubba Bob into action. The Brawlers will obviously take a power centric, straight forward approach, while the Rudos will have to do everything in their power to take their foes out of their element to stand a chance. El Froggy Mask vs. Wesley RakotoFresh off a strong over his predecessor, the Notorious EFM at Lariats 2020, El Froggy will open up the card against a fellow speedster in Madagascar's Wesley Rakoto, himself looking to make his name in the TIPWF following the conclusion of Pan African Wrestling. Both Froggy and Rakoto could propel themselves towards a future Dominican Golden Championship bout with a fan pleasing performance here. --- El Experto: (Translated from Spanish) <I will accept nothing short of victory! Nothing! For all too long, I had the patience to wait for the right moment to spring my well-laid trap, even after my neck and my head healed from that bumbling dreadnaught, Colossus Rhodes dropping me down from the clouds, I waited, because I knew from my vast experience that it is never optimal to rush into such endeavors. Never! But after I sacrificed an invaluable year of my career, after I upheld everything I had to do, so that I could strike back at the tyranny of the excretable Santanas, there was one element that I did not take fully into account. And that was your incredible ability to completely and totally botch up anything you are included in, Esteban Vargas!> The New Humanity: <I deserved that.> Experto: <What you deserved, was to have your creatine stuffed, mentally deficit ass thrown out instantly! I gave you Felix Santana Senior on a silver platter! And you let his imbecile son roll you up! So now, because I am a benevolent leader, because against everything my well-honed instincts tell me, I still have one bit of mercy to grant...and you had better make the most of this. You had better tear that inadequate false Rudo, Salvador Sosa to shreds!> Humanity: <I will. Salvador Sosa...will not leave with the title.> Experto: <You say this, but Dungeon Dominguez, who is three times the man you are, did not defeat him!> Humanity: <I will do what I need to do.> Experto: <You had better do so...> --- El Hijo de Macchiato: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake up, Teeeeeeeeeeexaaaaaaaaas! Salvador Sosa: That's right, it's the Rudo Dispatch, special English edition, just for you, Amarillo, Texas, because the Rudo Army is fully mobilized and ready to deploy in your city. We're here with the Dominican Golden Championship, the real thing, the whole thing. Killer King Jones: You better believe it! My man here, Salvador's got all the gold that anyone wants to have in this joint, he's conquered the conqueror, he's shown everyone what's what! Sosa: That's right, KKJ, and let me just be the first to say, it's great to hear you in a language that you can actually speak. Jones: Yeah, yeah! Sosa: And let's not neglect our Canadian corps, because the Rudo Army wouldn't be complete if it wasn't Very Canadian. Canadian Grizzly: Canadians make everything better! Megan Chabot: We really do! Sosa: There would have been a time where I would have really had some questions about that, but I can't deny it, Grizz, Meg, you're our essential brother and sister in arms. And now, all of us, every single combatant in the Army is going to march into battle. We got Jones and the Canucks going up against the Blue Collar Brawlers. Don't make any mistake, that's not an easy one for our brave battlers. But I have full confidence they can get the job done. Then you have my man, Macchiato, and he's going to take on the Mallard. This guy's shown he's got what it takes to make it on the card every month and take it to anyone the TIPWF's got. But I believe in the power of coffee, and Lucha. Jones: And you've got the main event locked down! Sosa: You better believe that. Now, everyone's going on about the New Humanity botching it up badly. He got the boot from Midas. He's got Experto breathing down his neck. There's a lot of pressure on that man. The people out there keep saying he can't get the job done. They say that he's nothing but an athlete, not a wrestler. I got two things to say about all that. First, I hear all this crap, and all I can think, is that there's a good chance this lit a legit fire under his ass. I beat Dungeon, I stepped back in and I stepped back up. But just because I beat a guy who's as clutch as Dungeon is, doesn't make this a walk in the park. I think that Vargas can be just as tough as Dungeon was, and anyone who can do what he can do, can't be taken lightly. I do that, and this belt I've held onto for all this time, that I've worked so hard to keep, is gone. Sosa: Second, I just want to say this. Esteban Vargas, I just want you to know that if Experto kicks you to the curb, if you're looking at yourself as a total misfit who doesn't belong anywhere in this game, I want you to know that just happens to be what the Rudo Army specializes in. We don't pick up the can't miss prospects, the big time heavy hitters on their big time push. We're misfits, we're the overlooked, we're the underutilized. And I want you to know that if you're in that boat, that we might just offer you a line. Keep that in mind.

Stanford Bradley's Belated Senatorial Office End of 2020 End of Year AwardsStanford Bradley: Hey look, it's me, Uncle Stanford, and I'm here all by my lonesome to present the best of last year to all of you, the unwashed masses! Alright, alright, I know, I know, I was supposed to get this done before, you know, the end of 2020, but hey, it's been a year, and I didn't really feel it, and I ate too much shrimp dip and drank too much egg nog, and time went by, and all of the sudden, it's 2021 and you know what? I totally forgot to do anything about this big mess! So, usually, when this sort of thing goes down, I have Senator...er, former Senator Asshole Phillips telling me to get this done, I have that stuffed shirt Kalb busting my chops to do this, because, really, I don't really care to look through a year of mostly unentertaining wrestling to figure out what these awards are supposed to be, but this time, I'm flying free with the birds...and that means I might just put some of the bullshit off because I can't be bothered. Anyway! You're not getting weakass guest presenters, you're not getting a hundred nominations that I don't give a damn about, you're just getting straight up Stanford Bradley's no holds barred opinions on the best of the year, and you're gonna like it! Yeah, production here is going to be shitty, so just deal with it...and if there's any mistakes, it's because I've kinda rushed this on account of getting hungry and wanting to get this done before the pizza gets delivered... [Feud of the Year] Stanford: There's been some real hated feuds, some boring friendly rivalries and a whole lot of boring no-context matches over this year! But let me kick this off with these feuds:
-Young Blood vs. the PEWA -Salvador Sosa vs. Rudo EX -Jackson Hole Outlaws vs. Cogburn Ranch(and about everyone else in the TIPWF) -Jean-Pierre Mutombo vs. King Bemba -Rory Banner vs. Andronicus Turner -Roland Chang Jr. vs. The EWO, Roland Chang Jr. vs. Sam Hall, Roland Chang Jr. vs. Roland Chang III
Stanford: Yeah, I cheated, half of these are someone versus a group and I put in three Roland Chang feuds, so you can eat my ass if you don't like that. But, play yourself a drumroll here...and the winner is, the Jackson Hole Outlaws against the TIPWF, because that was a hellova battle, with some great trash talk, some fun violence, it basically never went away the whole year, both sides got their shots in, and let me just say that I got my Jackson Hole Outlaws and Doc Wyatt merch over on the Warrior Pro site over the holidays on a great discount, one that you losers can't get now that it's all over, so yeah, that's my feud of the year!
[Team of the Year] Stanford: Now we got some teams, and it's usually Office policy to list the members, but if you don't know who they are, then why are you here? Do your damn research! Fire up the search engines! Figure it out yourself, you lazy bastards!
-The Bingo Hall Mutants -The Black Star Cyclones -Cogburn Ranch -Big Banter Brand -D-Team -NBNF -The Destructive Duo -The Vanishing -The All American Athletes
Stanford: Hah, you thought I'd go into a long explanation here? I'm picking either the Bingos or the Cyclones, and because I can't figure out between the two of them, I'm flipping this coin, heads for the Mutants, and here we go...and it's tails! The Black Star Cyclones are the Team of the Year! I mean, they did kick everyone's ass so badly in PAW that they shut the whole thing down! And they still have their belts! Even when they lost them, they got them right back, and the guys who beat them might beat the Mutants this year, so yeah, Layla Al-Amin and Esi Dogboe are the winners here!
[Match of the Year] Stanford: You want to know what shows these were from? Let me quote one of the true thinkers of the Office in the X-Treme Kid and tell you what you can do! So anyway, these are my matches of the year, not Digital Dave's stupid "hundo percent" matches, mine! Ok, maybe I got these off of some list on Reddit...nah, forget that, even I wouldn't step into that cesspool!
-Salvador Sosa vs. Gorilla Power -Valentina Verda vs. Felix Santana Sr. -Red Masterson vs. Lil Lariato -Nishimura Endo vs. Tarkhan the Mangler -The Wild Women vs. PEWA's Most Hated -Senator Steve Phillips vs. Geese Walker
Stanford: And yeah, that list said that Former Senator Asshole Phillips won this award with his Geese match, but screw it, this is MY award and I'm giving it to Valentina Verda and Felix Santana Senior! Because watching an old man move around like him reminds me of those old Six Flags commercials when the old dude started dancing around, and Valentina proves that you don't have to be a boring Bret Hart type to be a great technical wrestler! So eat that, Phillips, you lose! Just like you lost your election!
[Show of the Year] Stanford: Yeah, I'm not listing a whole bunch of shows here, since I already made up my mind here, and I'm not wasting my time going through the Office archives!
-Lariats and Legislators #10 -Lariats and Legislators 2020 -Golden Touch #9: Young Blood vs. Mutombo
Stanford: Three big shows, and I'm going with Golden Touch #9, because Midas knows how to do things right, and that show seriously kicked ass. You had me at ringside in the main event, you had the New Humanity fall flat on his face, you had the Massholes demonstrating top shelf comedy, and I know what I'm talking about when I'm talking about comedy! You had JJW and Big Bubba tear the roof off...and if you've ever gotten close enough to Bob, you'd tear the roof off too to air things out! Ibrahim Rahman did an amazing thing against the Destructive Duo! You can take his pinfall, but you can't take his freeeeedoooooom! My Team of the Year kicked ass against a team of two shooters who would rather shoot each other! So yeah, great show, all the more so because it's not some huge big deal Lariats deal, but a classy Midas event with all the golden trimmings and Sheena!
[Promotion of the Year] Stanford: Haha, I listed some groups that aren't around anymore! Guess who's not getting picked!
-PEWA -Santana Family Wrestling -TIPWF -Wacker Drive Revival -Lightning Pro -UCSS -Pan African Wrestling -SWA Renewal -Golden Touch Promotions
Stanford: Yeah, I just listed all the active promotions from last year other than Highway Outlaw Wrestling, because, yeah, they're not winning this, but anyway, let me also laugh at the Santana losers, at the Pan African losers, at the SWA, because, like we're giving them this award? And by "we," I mean, me, and the promotion I'm giving this award to is going to be...they all suck, nobody gets this award! Nah, seriously, as much as I'd love to give this to Golden Touch, I'm giving this to the PEWA, because they ruled the whole fed for the first half of the year, and won a whole bunch of shit like that bum, Hobo Harry winning the stupidly named CCW Cup, my guy Young Blood ripping everyone apart, and the Mutants being my team of the year, and even though I'm already giving the TIPWF the award for this year, because, yeah, they're like that team you all make in Madden or 2K, where you put all the 99 ranked guys on your home team, but for last year, the PEWA gets my award, even if they kinda smell funny and have an average age of fifty five...
[Moment of the Year] Stanford: Just remember, these are my picks for this, and because my picks are pretty much unquestionably the right picks, here we go:
-Midas Becomes the Glorious Leader! -Midas Consolidates Things! -Midas Addresses the Office! -The Funny Factory is Back! -Stanford Bradley Hosts the 2019 End of Year Awards! -Tracy Finn Eats More Ketchup Packets And Misses his Match Passed Out In the Back For The Third Show In A Row -Young Blood Injures A Lot Of Dumbasses -Former Senator Asshole Phillips Retires!
Stanford: You know what, when I was looking over everything, I realized that Tracy Finn is the unsung hero of the Senatorial Office. The guy's like eighty years old, and aged like he's a hundred and twenty, and he's still showing up for all the PEWA shows, and nobody ever gives him anything for it. So the Stanvation Army is here to ring the bell and make a big donation, and that donation is that I'm making Tracy finn Eats More Ketchup Packets And Misses his Match Passed Out in the Back For The Third Show In A Row the official 2020 Moment of the Year! Congratulations, Tracy, don't ever let anyone say that nobody gave you anything!
[Performer of the Year] Stanford: Yeah, I named myself twice. That was on purpose.
-Young Blood -GP Christopher -Stanford Bradley -Felix Santana Sr. -Valentina Verda -Jean-Pierre Mutombo -Mr. Moonsault -Rory Banner -Kevin Royce -Stanford Bradley -Morgan "Midas" Matthews -Kenny Bread -El Experto -Screaming Rage Man YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR -Robbie Roberts -Paco Pequeno
Stanford: And this was tough! Real tough! I mean, if I wasn't so fair, I'd just name myself for this, and I'd be the Performer of the Year! But because Young Blood will probably kick my ass if I name myself or Robbie Roberts, I'm naming Young Blood as the Performer of the Year, 2020! He was kinda like the year, itself, he kicked everyone's ass and make them feel like shit and dumped them in a garbage can! Well, maybe the last part was just me, but Young Blood was the man of the year, and he's getting the award! And that does it, I could spend the next five minutes closing this show, but I see my pizza just arrived, so yeah, that's the 2020 End of Year Awards, the best of the best, as only I can call it!

A top notch main event and bonus match headlined a card of some of the Office's best, with several surprising finishes and a title change along the way in the TIPWF's return home to Amarillo. RESULTS TIPWF: The Long Ride Home 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, January 15th at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX Bonus Match: TIPWF Old Guard Championship #1 Contender Bout Duke Cogburn vs. Mr. Nobunaga(Lightning Pro) With the Old Guard title having changed hands earlier, Duke Cogburn and Mr. Nobunaga fought for a future shot at Sixname's new title. Remarkably, the two senior veterans put on one of the best matches of the night, with Nobunaga's skilled judo proving a match for Cogburn's meat and potatoes classical western brawling. Even so, Cogburn would yet manage to overcome the L-Pro trainer's attacks by clamping on the tried and true Badman Sleeper, punching his ticket for a potential dual title opportunity along with his third of the Trios belts. Main Event: Dominican Golden Championship Bout Salvador Sosa(C) vs. The New Humanity One of the best performances of the New Humanity's career, with his Rudo EX status on the line, Esteban Vargas called upon his remarkable athleticism and diverse abilities in the ring. Unfortunately for Vargas, Salvador Sosa was equally on point, keeping pace with the two time Crossfit Games champion, with the two slamming each other on their heads with Sosa's Road to Salvation spinning kudo driver and Humanity's Izuna Drop both coming close, and Vargas using dives from a triple moonsault to a shooting star press, but it would be a flashy superkick to springboard senton to swanton combo from Sosa that would bring the match to a thrilling close. Santanas vs. Rudo EX Felix Santana Senior, Felix Santana Junior and Felix Santana III vs. Dungeon Dominguez(Lucha POWER), El Experto and Itzcoatl Hernandez with Paco Pequeno(Lucha POWER) An utterly chaotic mess of a match, and with these participants, that's to be expected. What was not expected was Felix Santana Senior managing to tweak Dungeon Dominguez's shoulder on a magistral attempt. While El Experto made an easy save and Dungeon tagged out immediately, the damage was done. Later in the match, a partially recovered Dominguez returned, seemingly back at full strength, but his bravado quickly ran out when Felix Jr. slapped on a wrenching cobra twist, leading to referee Lily-Anne Cogburn calling for the stoppage, much to the exaggerated consternation of Paco Pequeno at ringside. An utterly shocking conclusion to the match, and one that Rudo EX will undoubtedly be seeking to avenge as soon as possible. TIPWF Old Guard Championship Bout Newfie George(ZIP Japan)(C) vs. Johnny Sixname Undoubtedly one of the best matches of the night. While Newfie George seemed well on his way towards another easy defense of the Old Guard title, Johnny Sixname was made of stern enough stuff to weather the early storm. Firing back with multiple Six Shooter piledriver loops, including a three piledriver combo, and eventually, landed his Death Wish gotch style cradle piledriver to score the three count and finally dethrone Newfie George for the title. Sixname is now the Old Guard champion, but one can expect that this is far from the last that we've seen of Newfie in an Office ring... Cowboy Johnston vs. Mohammad Ramses A dream match of sorts, with the former TIPWF Lone Star champ and the former Pan African champ both looking strong for the first two thirds. Johnston, though, was able to take over the momentum as the match proceded and scored a knockout win with his Amarillo Sunset brainbuster lariat. Ladies Night Out The Dynasty Cyclones(La Relampaga and Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe and Nefertiri) vs. Senora Conquistadora, Lila Gila, Felice Santana and Vice Versa While many might question the source of the Black Star Cyclones's 2020 Team of the Year award, there is no doubt that the team has the ability to back up any plaudits. With La Relampaga and Nefertiri, the two faced a strong array of opponents here, but as always, Layla Al-Amin's brilliance between the ropes and Esi Dogboe's utterly merciless finishing instincts were the determining factors, with the Ghanan finishing Felice Santana with the Black Star Cannonball in the right place at the right time. Should any combination of the Dynasty Cyclones alliance team up, the Cogburn Ranch's hold on the TIPWF Trios belts may well be endangered. Hailey Comet vs. Professor Mark Gizenga Hailey Comet pushed the Professor close to his limit, landing the Southern Star Press and countering on the mat repeatedly. Even so, Mark Gizenga earned one of his biggest singles victories in his Office tenure as he caught Comet with an O'Connor Roll for the pin. The Mallard(MWWC) vs. El Hijo de Macchiato A back and forth battle between two well-prepared foes, with Mallard's speed and striking advantages keeping Macchiato at bay for long stretches, but the caffeinated luchador would take over late with a number of big slams, culminating in the pinfall following a twisting side arm slam. Blue Collar Brawlers(The Everyman, "Long Haul" Lenny Broadway and Big Bubba Bob) vs. Rudo Army(Canadian Grizzly, Killer King Jones and Megan Chabot) A good even matchup with the Blue Collar team getting their shots in, Broadway with his unorthodox brainbuster variations and Bubba Bob hulking up, but Killer King Jones decided to take over around the half hour mark, landing back to back Eritrean Head Cannon pop up headbutts to finish the match. El Froggy Mask vs. Wesley Rakoto A briskly paced opener that seemed to be firmly in the frog's favor when Wesley Rakoto landed a big Superstar Elbow to turn things around with a stunning stoppage victory. Rakoto could well have made a case for a future Dominican Golden Championship challenge with this one. --- Match of the Night: Sosa vs. New Humanity -An easy call, while the big tag matches were all entertaining and the Old Guard matches brought it, Salvador Sosa and Esteban Vargas put on the best match of the young year, performing feats that hardly anyone else in the world can match, each showing exceptional grit along the way as well. This was about as good as it could possibly have been. Performer of the Night: Johnny Sixname -Although Salvador Sosa could have earned this, Johnny Sixname deserves the POTN award for having finally been the one to beat Newfie George for the Old Guard title, and managing to show incredible toughness and a mean streak as wide as Montana along the way. --- Injury Report El Froggy Mask: No Injury, Wind Knocked Out (No Medical Suspension) -A Madagascar style Superstar Elbow from Wesley Rakoto took the fight out of El Froggy, but shouldn't leave him on the shelf, at least. Mohammad Ramses: Moderate Concussion (Three Month Medical Suspension) -An Amarillo Sunset brainbuster lariat thanks to Cowboy Johnston finished Ramses's TIPWF debut, and should take him out of the game for a number of months with the Office enacting the concussion protocol as a result. Dungeon Dominguez: Unknown Upper Body Injury -While the Office has no power to medically suspend Dominguez, a Lucha POWER roster member, and while we do not have direct access to his medical report, it was obvious that the former Interim Dominican Golden Champion suffered a notable shoulder injury off a fluke incident, with Felix Santana Sr. instigating it with a magistral cradle and Felix Jr. aggravating it badly enough to force a referee stoppage. --- Salvador Sosa: The offer's open. The New Humanity: I need to prove myself, by myself. Sosa: I passed this by the rest of the Rudos, we're all good, if you want to take some time, figure stuff out, go ahead. But you know any time you want to enlist, the Rudo Army'll be there for you. We'll have your back, either way. Full respect, you gave me a hell of a beating out there. You made me raise up my game. It's the honest truth, either one of us could have won that. Humanity: I don't get it. How I keep losing when I'm that much stronger, faster, more agile. Sosa: Mind and body both, mi amigo. That's what it takes in this game. You got all the ability, you know how to work your ass off, you're tough enough, you're just a bit green in this competition. Join up with us, and I promise we'll do what we can to get you the gold you... Out of nowhere, El Experto, Itzcoatl Hernandez and Poison Froggy Mask all ran around the corner, and blindsided both Sosa and Vargas. While Sosa and Vargas managed to gain the upper hand on Hernandez and Poison Froggy, Experto managed to put both men back down with a pair of well aimed chair shots. Poison climbed up on top of a stack of pallets and delivered a diving stomp on the New Humanity, while Itzcoatl Hernandez pulled out his scythe and blasted Sosa in the forehead with the base of the handle, before holding it up to his head. El Experto: (Translated from Spanish) <Hold him there! You, Vargas, made a terrible mistake! You thought you could just leave Rudo EX on your terms! You took it for granted that I would allow you to walk away with impunity! And now you talk back here with this insufferable ignoramus, this milquetoast moron, Sosa! You will never join his little band of supposed "Rudos!"> Experto put the boots to Vargas and Sosa once again, with his cronies holding them in place, before turning back to the camera, grabbing it with both hands. Experto: <Walt Callahan, you think you can screw us over, you think that you can dictate to Rudo EX the results of our matches! That was a screwjob that made that Montreal incident look fair by comparison! I see what your referee did to Dungeon Dominguez! Paco Pequeno is outraged, and is talking about pulling Dominguez from your programming until this is rectified! I told him that he should do just that! But yes, if you think you have set us back, you are sadly mistaken. Go check your little locker room. Colossus Rhodes is holding the doors shut! No simpleton Santanas! No Army riding to the rescue!> Experto turns back, kicking both Vargas and Sosa in the head again. Experto: <Look at your champion now!> Grabbing Hernandez's scythe, Experto opens a wound on the forehead of Salvador Sosa, before biting at the lasceration, and with a few stomps, the Dominican Golden Champion spills blood onto the concrete floor of the Stockade at Amarillo. Experto: <And to traitors! Always to traitors!> Experto grabs the New Humanity, pushing Poison Froggy Mask away as he clamps on his Agarre Perfecto camel clutch, stretching the athletic phenom back into a most uncomfortable arc. Poison Froggy leaves the frame for a moment, before returning with a cinder block. Experto drags the New Humanity over the block, stomping on his spine repeatedly, while Poison Froggy climbs back up the pile of pallets. Experto: <This is what happens to anyone who stands against us!> Poison Froggy jumps off the pallets, landing with a terrible double stomp to the back of Vargas's shoulders, driving him straight through the cinder block with a deafening crash and a cloud of dust. Experto looks at the camera, and gives a quick throat cutting gesture before the camera cuts away.
