Leona Sterling "'Passable', says the fuckin' loudmouth Englishman. Typical of 'em, doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything that doesn't have to do with 'em. Course, I could talk shit towards ya' all day, but it doesn't change status for either of us, you're still the big swaggerin' champion and I'm lookin' for recognition, and dealin' with loudmouth shites like you that don't think I got what it takes. This... Daensgri- Daengsri- fuckin-" Leona clearly stumbles over the name for a moment, "Thai boxer! Seen a fair bit of what ya' bring out there. Looking forward to seeing what ya' got. But don't think for a second that I'm gonna hesitate in findin' just the right hold for ya'." Layla Al-Amin "Speaking up isn't exactly one of my strengths. I've always preferred to let my actions speak for me, from the very beginning. But ahead of a match like this... defending our titles against perhaps the toughest challengers yet... I believe I have to say something. To put it simply, though... I have always taken pride in rising to whatever challenge is put in front of me. Size doesn't matter. Strength can be overcome. The Black Star Cyclones have risen to the occasion time and time again... if we hadn't, we would not hold these titles right now. And we will rise to the challenge of the Bringers of War as well. I will not be slowed, I will not be silenced. And if they wish for war with the reigning champions, then they will have it. We will be ready."

Some surprising results and unexpected matchups were paired with several standout matches and a major development that will certainly lead to some heated confrontations for the top names of UCSS. RESULTS --- Pan African Wrestling x UCSS: Of War and Cyclones 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, August 14th at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington, DC Pan African Tag Championship Black Star Cyclones(Layla Al-Amin(Phoenix Rising) and Esi Dogboe)(C) vs. Bringers of War(War Bringer, Demarcus Browning(Blackrose) and The Warbringer, Moustpaha Ndour) with Renate Barlowe This highly anticipated title match seemed to have barely gotten off the ground by twenty minutes in, with the Bringers of War utilizing their impressive power, and with Warbringer catching Esi Dogboe with the infamous Rana Bomb to score the pinfall, earning the Pan African Tag Championship for himself and Demarcus Browning. For once, the Black Star Cyclones did not seem to fire on all cylinders, but anyone expecting them to walk away without a rematch will be sorely disappointed. UCSS #1 Contender "Supplimental Challenge" Darryl Jenkins(Port City Pro) vs. Andronicus Turner with "Big Banter" Rory Banner and Sanem Becker Directly following Jenkins's win over Wong, Rory Banner walked out with Andronicus Turner and Sanem Becker and addressed the new #1 Contender. Rory Banner: Representing the Big Banter Brand, I believe this tournament was entirely unfair to the individuals contracted under my management. I believe that this outsider, Jenkings, must defend first against my own man, UCSS roster member, I remind you, Andronicus Turner. Then, and only then, will his contendership be legitimate. Jenkins: Let's do this. With Jenkins accepting, the match started, and while Jenkins may not have been fully prepared for his fellow pugilist, he ended up putting up one heck of a fight against Andronicus Turner. The Kronk Gym product, for his part, utilized fancy defensive techniques and with the Big Banter Brand at ringside, managed to drag Jenkins into deep water by the third round, finishing him by pinfall following a big overhand combo. UCSS #1 Contender Tournament Finals Darryl Jenkins(Port City Pro) vs. Gang Wong If you watch this, don't blink. Because if you do, you'll miss Darryl Jenkins landing a quick straight punch setup into a thunderous overhand to deliver a knockout at only one minute and fifty three seconds into the first round to become the #1 Contender for the UCSS Openweight title. The Congolese Connection(Jean-Pierre Mutombo and Professor Mark Gizenga) vs. King Bemba and Esther Musambi with Yetunde Oya The Congolese Connection and Bemba's Royal Court were both back at full strength for the first time in months, but this night was Bemba's to enjoy, as the Connection seemed somewhat disjointed, holding out for long stretches, but rarely taking full control. Esther Musambi stepped up late in the match, planting Professor Mark Gizenga with a high angle powerbomb to secure the victory. Ong Daengsri vs. Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) An amazing matchup between two ladies who brought intensity and skill to the ring. Leona Sterling looked like a world beater at numerous points in the match, landing the bigger, more impactful moves on average, while Ong Daengsri looked to rely on simpler, more basic moves at a higher percentage. In the end, just when it seemed that Sterling would win late in the third round or early in the fourth, Daengsri managed to catch a kick from the Scottish fighter, and locked in an Achilles Hold for a truly last ditch effort victory. Over the Top Invitational Count Savage vs. Frank Van Sloan vs. Eliza Faulkner(MWWC) vs. Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan) vs. Mohammad Ramses vs. Byron Worthy(Warrior Pro) vs. Anaba Camacho vs. Onika Santos Utter chaos reigned here, with Count Savage surprisingly living up to his pre-fight predictions in controlling everything around him, mostly with well-timed strikes to the groin. However, the real story of this match was the dominance of Frank Van Sloan, as the Belgian Uberkicker turned back the clock and presented himself as a legitimate challenger for the UCSS Openweight title, finishing off the formidable Thunder Fist in the end with his leaping spin outside crescent, the Uberkick to score the victory as the last man standing. UCSS #1 Contender Tournament Semi Final Darryl Jenkins(Port City Pro) vs. Thiago Gracie While long stretches of this match belonged to Thiago Gracie and his signature armwork, patience and focus paid off for Darryl Jenkins as he overcame Gracie's BJJ to land a series of hard punches culminating in a big overhand to earn a third round KO. UCSS #1 Contender Tournament Semi Final Gang Wong vs. Della Dwight A brilliant demonstration of two well-developed skillsets, with the momentum shifting back and forth, as Wong hit his combinations, including the spectacular Shaolin Overdrive and Dwight answered with her suplexes and slams, including the two stage dragon suplex, the Skyscraper. By the third round, both fighters had taken their share of punishment, and after getting up from a front chancery suplex, Wong managed to catch Dwight with a Pele Kick counter to score the ten count. --- Match of the Night: Leona Sterling vs. Ong Daengsri -Both Sterling and Daengsri were at their best for this match, one which very well could have gone either way, were it not for one single miscue at the end by Sterling. UCSS management were reportedly very pleased with both performances. Performer of the Night: Bringers of War(Demarcus Browning and Moustapha Ndour) -Winning the titles in their first match teaming in Pan African Wrestling? Defeating the dominant Black Star Cyclones and making it look easy? That's the stuff that makes up a Performer of the Night award. --- Injury Report: Gang Wong: Mild Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) -The Shaolin Superstar took a hard overhand from Darryl Jenkins and was out cold as a result. While Wong was reponsive and showed few signs of damage at the time of his diagnosis, the Office will suspend him for several months as a precautionary measure. --- Dangerous Nicholas Alger: Bullshit! "Big Banter" Rory Banner: I assure you, it was all legitimate. Jenkins verbally agreed to the challenge, your referee called for the bell, your timekeeper rang the bell, it was entirely legitimate. DNA: Nah, I'm not buying it. Not at all. Turner is not your challenger. He's part of your camp! Banner: And we always hear complaints that teammates do not wish to face each other with high stakes on the line. I, on the other hand, am willing and able to present such an opporunity to the true number one contender for my title, Andronicus Turner. DNA: Talk all you want, not gonna happen. Jenkins won the match for the shot! Your match didn't amount to squat! Banner: Now you end up spitting upon your title's credibility when you give the shot to a man who lost to his superior opponent. DNA: So sad, too bad, now get lost before I make myself the contender again, Banner! Banner: This is not over, not by a long shot! DNA: Maybe so...but get out of my office! --- The Warbringer, Moustapha Ndour: Look at this, Renate, we did this! We got this! Renate Barlowe: Yes, you two did well. Demarcus already left? Warbringer: Yeah, he's got a long trip, had to take off in his rental car already. Barlowe: Already got gold. Don't get too used to that. You do that, and you know what happens. Warbringer: Don't you worry about that, Renate, if you think I'm satisfied with this, you're crazy. Besides, Demarcus and I both think we didn't get the best the Cyclones had to bring. So we already sent them a message, telling them if they want a rematch, they got it. Barlowe: Can't say I like that plan too much. On one hand, you beat them. You have nothing left to prove. You're the champions, you need to make your money and your opportunities moving ahead. On the other hand, a rematch is probably your biggest money match to make right now. So while I don't like it, I'll not veto it. Warbringer: Hah, you think you're going to veto my match? Demarcus and I agreed we want that rematch, we're getting it no matter what! Barlowe: Sure, don't listen to my advice... Warbringer: You know I appreciate it, Renate, but I'm not that kid you met years ago, not anymore, I'm a champion right now, in the United States, land of Duke Basketball! You ever thought that'd be the case back then? Barlowe: Just don't get cocky, the world has a way of catching up with us at the worst moment if we're not prepared...and even when we are. Don't get cocky. --- Esi Dogboe: Layla and I are not happy with that. We are proud warriors, and we took great pride in holding the Pan African Tag Championship. But neither she nor I are proud of that match we had. I have nothing good to say about how I did, and while Layla did better than I, she is not happy either. But the Bringers of War want the rematch, and if that is what they offer, then we will accept it with open arms! They better be ready, because they have not seen the best of us yet, not at all! --- King Bemba: What is your problem? We return, and I expect to see the great champion, the man who calls himself all the long names! And I see nothing but a loser in this match! Jean-Pierre Mutombo: It is true...that was not the very best of Jean-Pierre out there. Bemba: You are ripe for the picking! And I will grab that title from around your waist and mount it upon my throne! JPM: Do you truly believe you will do this, because that has not happened before in the past. And when the match really matters a lot, I can tell you that the people will lift me up and will push me to victory as they have done so many times in the past! Bemba: Your time is over, Mutombo! The reign of Bemba draws near! Remember this!

Standing at a podium with Kevin Fitsharris and Senatorial Office Chairman Anthony Kalb on one side, and his usual valet team of Perephone and Irkalla on the other, the gold-clad Morgan "Midas" Matthews addresses the camera. Morgan "Midas" Matthews: Welcome once again to Golden Touch Promotions, as we present our seventh extravaganza to you, the public. Whereas the standard professional wrestling program leaves the fans empty and unfulfilled, I promise you all that you will get more than you bargained for if you choose to watch our premium brand of programming. We have fan favorites and super talented stars showcasing their talent here, with the skill of Ibrahim Rahman, the athleticism of the New Humanity, the heart of Kenny Bread, the towering size of Binak Tonorian and the unique style of Seiko Kankyako. Only I can bring such an assortment of stars to you in one place at one time. From there, we have three featured attraction matches, with the new Warrior Pro Tag champions, Billie Cannon and Tyson Heyward, the Grim Reapers making their debut in the Beltway against these two Capitalists, Anthony Kalb and Kevin Fitsharris. Kevin Fitsharris: And we can't wait! Even if everyone thinks we're losing! We still believe in ourselves! Anthony Kalb: Even Mina told me she thinks we're losing. But we don't care. Fitsharris: I care! She said she wasn't telling that to anyone else! Kalb: We're not scared, we've been at this well over a decade now, and while we might have other roles to fill in our lives, we both have a part of ourselves that we can't kill off. That's the part that wants to jump back in that ring, and take on the best of the best whenever we can, no matter what the odds. We know everyone thinks we're gonna get our asses kicked. That's fine. We pretty much figure we will. But what the Reapers better understand, is that we can take a beating to give one. And we're not going to let you two leave here without knowing you were in a fight. Midas: Fine, fine, enough of that. Anyway, our next featured attraction is a cooperative match with the SWA. Since next week's SWA show will be cut short, they asked if I could feature one of their title matches on my brand. I, of course, was magnanimous enough to accept. As such, Jose Santos will defend the SWA Prestige title against the big, bad Frog Buster to spice things up with some shoot style action. And then, we have the main event. A match between these two individuals. The camera pans out to show Valentina Verda on the far side of Irkalla and Persephone, lounging back in a rainbow colored dress, with the TIPWF Lone Star title on the table, while Young Blood sat, leaning over a backwards facing chair, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and looking remarkably bored. Midas: On one side here, you have a man who has proven to be the single most destructive force in professional wrestling, who has held titles hostage and terrorized entire organizations, the Office Number One Ranked Young Blood. On the other side, you have an individual who delights in creating confusion and can be counted upon to always take the opposition off guard, as Cowboy Johnston found out in a TIPWF title match. Here, we have the challenger, Valentina Verda. Valentina happily, perhaps too happily waved over to Young Blood, who lifted a hand off his chair only high enough to raise a middle finger in response. Midas: Any words? I'll let the challenger start. Valentina: Yes! I just can't wait for this match, as you know, I enjoy gold quite a bit, so Golden Touch Promotions just seems like a good place for me to visit, but what I really can't wait for, is to take that big grumpy jackass over there, and humiliate him in front of the whole world! It'll be wonderful! Midas: Since Young Blood is forbidden to speak on Office broadcasts, we have Stanford Bradley here to speak for him. Stanford, any words? Stanford Bradley: Yeah! My client here is the reigning, defending, undisputed Number One! He is the Beast Incarnate, Broooooo...er Blooooooood! Sorry, got carried away there. But seriously, is this even a real match? I see this guy over here who looks like he friggin' eats barbed wire for breakfast, and craps out hand grenades, who basically almost killed all his opponents, and he's supposed to be scared of...Valentina Verda? Come on! Young Blood: [CENSORED] Stanford: Um, I'm not repeating that the way you said that...basically, Young Blood thinks that Valentina is a joke and he wants to see if he can break Verda's neck in the ring. Valentina: Hah, I don't need to even hurt him to break him. Just let me put my hands all over Young Blood over there, and we'll see if he can keep from getting pinned...or maybe I'll give him the Cowboy Special! Blood: [CENSORED] Stanford: Paraphrasing...heavily...give me a break here, I can't even come close to halfway saying that! Ok, Young Blood told me to shut up and get out of his way, so you better have security ready to... With that, Young Blood grabbed Stanford by the collar and chucked him aside. Finding a can of energy drink on the table behind him, Young Blood picked it up and chucked it at Valentina, who ducked it and responded by pulling up the bottom of the dress and mooning the former PEWA champ. Enraged, Blood charged towards Verda, only for Kalb and Fitsharris to make a flying, desperate stop, trying to apply a team tackle on the Office Number One ranked member. Blood was not to be stopped, however, and elbowed Fitsharris in the back of the shoulders, kneed Kalb in the solar plexus and broke free, hoisting a chair. Verda, even so, did not run, but instead picked up another chair, and used it to parry aside the attack. A second swing disarmed the EWO leader, but before Blood could connect with a third swing, Fitsharris caught the chair, while Kalb dragged him to the ground. Security finally showed up at this point, breaking up the melee and allowing the Capitalists to disengage before any serious damage could be done. Midas: And that's just a taste of the action you're going to get this Friday! Tune into the Senatorial Streaming Service to see the action unfold and witness the thrilling conclusion to this heated feud! --- Golden Touch #7: Rainbows of GoldFriday, August 21st following All Time Boxing on our timeline at the Beltway Hippodrome Senatorial Office #1 Ranking Bout Young Blood(C) vs. Valentina VerdaSWA Prestige Title Bout Jose Santos(C) vs. Frog BusterThe Grim Reapers(Billie Cannon and Tyson Heyward)(Warrior Pro) vs. The Capitalists(Anthony Kalb and Kevin Fitsharris)Featured Talent Seiko Kankyako(Typhoon Pro) Binak Tonorian(Phoenix Rising) The New Humanity Ibrahim Rahman Kenny Bread(Port City Pro)

I'm currently watching the show at the moment, but I was wondering something: wasn't Ibrahim supposed to fight Honda and Wrecker for his freedom at this show? Or were the Destructive Duo occupied this week? They're currently pretty busy in multiple feds...and Midas plays by his own rules, so it probably just wasn't able to be contracted for this one. (And never discount the part where it slipped my mind....but that's not kayfabe!)

Some spirited showings from the ENHANCE side, a solid tag confrontation, an incredible SWA Prestige title match that has to be seen, and yet another typical showing from Young Blood on this edition of Golden Touch Promotions. --- RESULTS Golden Touch #7: Rainbows of Gold Friday, August 21st following All Time Boxing on our timeline at the Beltway Hippodrome Senatorial Office #1 Ranking Bout Young Blood(C) vs. Valentina Verda Valentina Verda tried so hard. Outbrawling Young Blood on the outside, keeping the former PEWA Extreme champ off balance perpetually in the ring, it seemed that Verda was en route for the top spot in the Office. And yet, as he has done so many times before, Young Blood held on, and hit the single most dreaded move in the Senatorial Office, the Last Will and Testament wrist clutch fireman carry driver, and scored a clean three count with the move, just when it mattered most. A massive disappointment for many, but Young Blood's reign on top will continue. SWA Prestige Title Bout Jose Santos(C) vs. Frog Buster No doubt about it, this was the best match of the year presented by the SWA brand. Jose Santos and Frog Buster were both at their very best, with Santos relentlessly tearing away at Buster's legs, especially in the early going. The behemoth did not roll over and die, however, and fired back with a series of huge slams and suplexes, with both men taking heavy damage by the end of the first ten minute round. Through the second, it was near fall after near fall for Buster, submission after submission for Santos, who shifted his focus to his arsenal of guillotine chokes, and finally, a rolling guillotine would submit Frog Buster with less than thirty seconds to go in the second round. Often criticized for his questionable chin, Buster showed undeniable heart and fortitude, while Santos proved once again that he has the heart of a great champion and the skill to handle any opponent. The Grim Reapers(Billie Cannon and Tyson Heyward)(Warrior Pro) vs. The Capitalists(Anthony Kalb and Kevin Fitsharris) For their part, Anthony Kalb and Kevin Fitsharris were in good form, and did not give their visiting foes an easy night of it, working well as a team and hitting a good amount of offence. As the match went along, though, the Grim Reapers started showing their own excellent teamwork and skills, busting Fitsharris open, and with Billie Cannon putting Anthony Kalb away with a kimura lock. Up to his usual antics, Morgan Matthews ordered the match to continue under elimination rules, and Fitsharris fought valiantly, with Kalb offering help from ringside, but after a pair of sheer drop backdrop suplexes from the Reapers, Cannon again submitted a Capitalist, this time with a camel clutch. Easily one of the best matches of the night. Featured Talent Seiko Kankyako(Typhoon Pro) vs. Betty Black Trunks Seiko Kankyako matches usually consist of some of the most unique mind games in pro wrestling. This time, however, Kankyako was more focused on simply outwrestling an old rival from the independents, and utterly obliterated Betty Black Trunks in a surprisingly straight forward fashion, finishing with a Death Latch twisting crossleg pin to end the match with no questions left to ask. Binak Tonorian(Phoenix Rising) vs. String Bean String Bean seemed to take inspiration from Jeff's showing, and took the fight to Big Binak, popping up from several brainbusters and hitting more of his own offence than one would normally expect. Binak, for his part, simply seemed a bit off his usual form, but an iron claw would eventually submit String Bean to end the match in decisive fashion. The New Humanity vs. Jeff No, this was not a typo. Jeff, having hardly had time to do anything against Ibrahim Rahman, was back in against Esteban Vargas, the New Humanity. And amazingly, the ENHANCE mainstay seemed properly motivated, and as a result, put on the best performance of his career, kicking out of multiple Izuna Drops, Deadly Go Arounds and taking the entirety of the Humanity's expansive, flashy offence. It took more than twenty minutes for Vargas to finally hit a torture rack bomb to finish this one, in a match that he may want to forget sooner than later. Ibrahim Rahman vs. Jeff Over in a blink, Ibrahim Rahman once again proved his technical brilliance by flash pinning Jeff with a cobra twist pin in just over five minutes. Kenny Bread(Port City Pro) with Masked Maniac IV vs. Neil Kenny Bread took care of business in this match, even if he didn't go for his biggest moves, and took a bit long, he still cleanly outwrestled Neil, finishing with an inside cradle. --- Match of the Night: Jose Santos vs. Frog Buster -As good as the Capitalists-Grim Reapers match was, this was an amazing back and forth match that kept the viewers on the edge of their seats until the last final rolling guillotine from Santos. A fearsome showing from Buster, and a remarkable display all around from the SWA Prestige champion. Performer of the Night: Young Blood -Defeating a top challenger for his ranking, Young Blood once again did what he does, and put away Valentina Verda after weathering a storm. --- Senatorial Office Rankings: August 2020Note: The Senatorial Office official rankings have now been pared down to a top five for singles and a top three for teams, with outsiders now available for the team category. As such, the rankings will now be posted every regular cycle following Golden Touch's broadcast and before the SWA's show on the following week, in an attempt to keep them updated more often and make them more relevant outside of the Number One spot. [Singles] #1: Young Blood-There is no doubt that despite losing the PEWA Extreme title, that Young Blood is and will continue to be the top star of the Office, after turning back so many top opponents for the Number One. The Last Will and Testament has gained mythic status as the most feared move in the business at this point. #2: G.P. Christopher-The Victorious Medal holder and one of the best workers in the business, GPC continues to keep an iron grasp on his King of the Openers spot, and has had strong showings outside the Office, most notably in the Warrior Pro G2 tournament. #3: Valentina Verda-Although the EWO leader was defeated by Young Blood, Valentina Verda remains the TIPWF Lone Star champion after defeating Cowboy Johnston in a MOTY contender, and has looked almost unstoppable outside of the Young Blood challenge. #4: Felix Santana Jr.-Felix Jr. has been a stalwart champion in CAWF and has been perhaps the single busiest wrestler in the Office orbit, competing around the world and still maintaining his top level reputation wherever he goes. #5: "Big Banter" Rory Banner-The UCSS Openweight champion has regained his ability to advocate for the Big Banter Brand as he took hold of the title, and it seems that Banner will be a major thorn in the side for Dangerous Nicholas Alger and the rest of the organization for time to come. [Team] #1: High Plains Drifters(Walt Callahan, Marcos Angulo and Johnny Sixname)-The Drifters have been top notch champions for the TIPWF Trios division, despite their collective age, the three have been extremely difficult to dislodge from their belts. #2: White Hot(Keiko Maeda(Phoenix Rising) and Rei Hasegawa)-By their massive upset victory over Worldwide Conquest, Hasegawa and Maeda proved themselves worthy of the Victorious Tag Medals and of legitimate respect as a team. However, if anyone was paying attention to their months of growth in the Blackwood Academy, this may not have been much of a surprise. #3: Neon Knights(Supernaut, Holy Diver, Hija de Holy Diver)-Not so much for their lackluster Lone Star Trios title challenge against the Drifters, but for Supernaut and Holy Diver's excellent record on the Galastream, utterly running over a dangerous team of OMGHAX and looking like the most decorated team in Office history that they are.

A rarity for the Office this time around, as the SWA broadcasts one of their regular weekly Renewal programs instead of the monthly double sized events that the brand typically offers the Senatorial Streaming Service, due to scheduling issues and a pre-empted broadcast slot on the Service. SWA Renewal 9-28-208:00 PM (CT) on Friday, August 28th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Main Event Karts Rowdy and Steel Johnson vs. All American Athletes(Max Bertrand and Blan Fleming)After Karts Rowdy defeated Steel Johnson for the SWA Heavyweight title, his #1 contender, Max Bertrand called him out, challenging him and the former champ to a tag match against the All American Athletes, marking the long awaited return of Blanchard Fleming from his injury. The Athletes, long time fan favorites, seem to be taking a bit of an adversarial stance here, could this be the beginning of a full fledged heel turn? And if the Athletes pull off the win, what does that say for the Rowdy-Bertrand title match? Canadian Grizzly(Santana Family Wrestling) with Allen Hawkins vs. Blood Angel with Mask LegendThe second of two matches pitting tag partners against each other, with the Canadian Grizzly looking to match the explosive skill of Blood Angel in this one. While Grizzly can keep pace quite well with high fliers, his best hope here will most likely be to keep this on the mat. Allen Hawkins with Canadian Grizzly(Santana Family Wrestling) vs. Mask Legend with Blood AngelThe first of two singles matches with the Canadian Dream Team taking on members of the Cross Pacific Uber Allies. NCPW veteran Mask Legend has looked solid in SWA action as of late, and will almost certainly give Allen Hawkins everything he can handle, although the same could be said in reverse for the Canadian standout. Renacimiento(Leonardo Pascual and Oliver Espadas) vs. Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire with MikazukiRenacimiento have not been wasting time since they have recovered from injury and are looking to put together enough of a winning streak to catch the attention of the Vanishing. A win over the strange, but intriguing team of Vale Tudo legend, Cherry Blossom Ikki and English catch style grappler, Thomas Lancashire could go a long way in propelling them to their goal.

Masked Maniac IV Injured and More Office NewsBy Kevin "The Internet" Anderson -Last night at Port City Pro's Rampage vs. Felix 2 show, Masked Maniac IV ended up injured as a result of a splash from Cordell Chaos, and will be on the shelf for the next four months as the result of a broken rib. PEWA President Biff Taylor issued a brief press release to address the matter: -The Senatorial Office has officially announced the seedings for the CCW Junior Heavy Cup. For those who wonder, the CCW name was the brainchild of Kevin Fitsharris, and it stands for "Crusierweights Can't Wait." Of note, Highway Outlaw Wrestling had only one available eligible member, and will be supplemented by the Dwight Gym Head Trainer, Daniel Ness. The first round will play out each week during the shows, with two matches each show, leading into the quarter finals, which will lead into the CCW Cup Finals at the next Golden Touch broadcast. Week 1 - PEWA: Dr. Trace Gibson vs. X-Kira Highway Outlaw Wrestling / Dwight Gym: Cruiser Khan vs. Daniel Ness Week 2 - Santana Family Wrestling: Luchador Sorpresa vs. Moonman TIPWF: Vice Versa vs. Lutadora Festiva Week 3 - Lightning Pro: Ayako Miyamoto vs. Kaede Kinoshita Wacker Drive Revival: Elle Barrett vs. "Total MDK" Taylor Ngyuen Week 4 - UCSS: Anaba Camacho vs. Jamie Tomasi Pan African Wrestling: Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi vs. Wesley Rakoto --- Young Blood has reportedly asked for his release from his PEWA contract with PEWA President Biff Taylor unsurprisingly being said to have put up little resistance to the idea. However, Office Chairman, Anthony Kalb has been said to be leaning towards vetoing the idea, which may well end up being a matter of heated debate among the members of the Board of Directors at the next scheduled meeting, which takes place following the next Golden Touch show. --- At the last Board of Directors meeting, the Office has discussed holding outdoor shows outside the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center, using the parking lot as a staging area. While the weather may soon shut this plan down, it's been said that some of the members of the Board have grown tired of running everything out of the Beltway Hippodrome as of late and are looking for some alternative solutions to change up the scenery in the future

It was great having you on board for that one, TheDenizen ! Brought back some good memories of Fridays past! RESULTS SWA Renewal 9-28-20 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, August 28th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Main Event Karts Rowdy and Steel Johnson vs. All American Athletes(Max Bertrand and Blan Fleming) There was no love lost between the Athletes and the team of Rowdy and Johnson, both sides dueling back and forth, with Karts Rowdy having stretches of dominance, but Blanchard Fleming brought the match to a close when he planted Steel Johnson with his spinning gutwrench slam, the Star Spangled Slam, finishing the match by referee stoppage and staring at Rowdy while standing over his fallen foe, with the crowd at the Doors of Perception loudly booing the scene. Canadian Grizzly(Santana Family Wrestling) with Allen Hawkins vs. Blood Angel with Mask Legend A much closer match than the preivous one, Canadian Grizzly took the lion's share of the offence, but it would be Blood Angel who had the last laugh, catching the bear masked stalwart with a Tiger Suplex hold to even up the record between the CDT and the CPUA. Allen Hawkins with Canadian Grizzly(Santana Family Wrestling) vs. Mask Legend with Blood Angel The first of two matches between the Canadian Dream Team and the Cross Pacific Uber Allies turned in favor of Canuckistan, as Allen Hawkins simply outworked Mask Legend, finishing with a swan dive headbutt. Renacimiento(Leonardo Pascual and Oliver Espadas) vs. Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire with Mikazuki While Renacimiento were clearly in control for much of this match, tagging frequently and keeping a brisk pace, the Super Shooters held on long enough for Thomas Lancashire to catch Pascual with his vicious manjigatame variation, the Ramsquaddled. A notable upset that could shake up the SWA tag team division for time to come. --- Match of the Night: Rowdy and Johnson vs. All American Athletes -The main event delivered with a heated, intense fight of a match with a memorable finish. Performer of the Night: Blan Fleming -Fleming not only won his match, but sent a message in the process. --- Injury Report Steel Johnson: Dislocated Shoulder (Three Month Medical Suspension) -Following a Star Spangled Slam from Blan Fleming, Steel Johnson was finished for the night, and for good measure, as his shoulder was thrown out of place on the impact. One of the elder veterans of the SWA roster, Johnson will take the full three months to return to action. --- Directly after Blanchard Fleming dropped Steel Johnson with the Star Spangled Slam and stared down Karts Rowdy, Max Bertrand appeared with a microphone in hand. Max Bertrand: You see that, Rowdy? That's what I'm going to do to you at Premium Special! Stop booing me! You people out there don't appreciate what you have here! Blan Fleming: That's right, you were lucky you got to cheer us for years! Now you boo us? Because we did what we had to do to win a match? Because we want to fight to regain our belts? Bertrand: They hate us because we're something they can't be! We're All Americans! They hate that! Fleming: We were your heroes. We fought for you! We fought through the pain! We fought through the injuries! We came back time and time again, because we wanted to be your champions! And now, you turn your back on us! You hate us now! You don't even know why! And you can't even admit how hypocritical that makes you! Bertrand: You people disgust me! Bunch of ungrateful, unathletic, unpatriotic bums! I can't wait to rub it in your jeering faces when I take that SWA Heavyweight title off Karl Gowdy over there, and hold it up in the air, and I take it all in! Karts Rowdy: Wait, wait, just a moment here...you two keep running your mouths...Blan, Max, I've known you two for years...but the two people standing over there look like strangers to me. Hey, I know I can be a bit of a jackass at times, it's who I am, and the people all know it, and accept it. I'm always true to myself, no matter if I'm racing on the dirt track, or flying over the ring. Everyone out there respects that, because I'm up front about it. But you two, for years, you played the role of the red, white, and blue heroes, and you know, I bought it. They bought it. But once those belts left your waist, and the going got rough, and some doubts showed up...the truth came out. You bastards didn't have to put Steel on the shelf, damn it! That man's a friggin' institution! Karts: You take away one of my allies, don't worry, I got more. Because everyone in the back knows that if they needed me to step up, I'll do it. And I know that if I need one of them to step up...they'll do it. That's because, even though they all want a shot at the belt I got, they know I'm not holding onto this forever. And if they get it, they're not holding onto it forever. But what I thought you two got, and what the rest of us get, is that you don't lose your integrity like you lose your belt. That's for good...unless you choose to throw it away...like you both did! Fleming: Little man, you've held that for what, two months now? Try being the man on top for over a year, try being the ace. Try being the one who sells the brand. All I see is a hundred little sponsored brands all over your attire. Sponsoring you, not the SWA. You talk about integrity. But you don't get the sacrifices it takes to achieve greatness, to take yourself, and the SWA to greater heights. Every time you fail, you just go do something else. Max and I, this is our sport, this is our fed, we don't go hopping on the dirt cart when things get ugly. Have your fun with that belt, because when you're done with it, we're going to bring some real integrity back to it, the All American Way. Bertrand: I can't wait. Max Bertrand stepped over to Karts Rowdy, with the two facing off as the show went off the air.

Two title matches, two #1 contender matches, the return of Luke Powers and the beginning of the CCW Junior Heavy Cup all feature on this event. The CCW Cup is a multi-week competition that will highlight each Office Affiliate's top wrestlers at 205 lbs and under, with each week's winners reserving a spot for the quarter-finals that will take place, along with the rest of the tournament, at the upcoming Golden Touch Promotions show. PEWA x Highway Outlaw Wrestling: Hardcore Entropy 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, September 4th at the Charles Sumner Gymnasium in Washington, DC Main Event: PEWA Extreme Title Bout Kevin Royce(Evergreen Wrestling)(C) vs. Bath Salts ZombieDefeating Sir Vladimir Henry to earn this title opportunity, the Bath Salts Zombie has been rampaging through the roster as of late, even more destructive than ever in recent months. However, the unhinged junkie will have a difficult time of it in the best of cases as he faces the current PEWA Extreme champion, Kevin Royce. Having turned back the attempt of Juliette Erving, the Chairmaster has made himself at home in the PEWA, and will be favored in this one...although with the Zombie involved, anything can happen. Highway Outlaw Wrestling Ruler of the Road Bout Texas Rose(C) vs. Fat BurnerThe first of two title matches in a double main event, the utterly dominant Texas Rose will go up against the unlikely foe of Fat Burner. While many may scoff at the fitness guru having much of a chance, those individuals likely missed out on his outright masterpiece victory over Mina Fitsharris on the last PEWA-HOW broadcast, a win that netted him this match. For her part, Texas Rose has held the Ruler of the Road since the Highway Outlaws came to the Office, and has defended it successfully on every defense, her mix of technical skill and roadhouse grit serving as an unbeatable combo. PEWA Extreme Tag Title #1 Contender Bout The Bingo Hall Mutants(Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) vs. The Cruisers(Cruiser Jacobs and Cruiser Conrad)Enraged by the loss of their belts to the PEWA's Most Hated, the Mutants confronted the Cruisers following the previous broadcast, with both teams deciding to turn back the clock and face off one more time, with the winners earning a shot at the Extreme Tag Titles. While the Cruisers are generally busy running Highway Outlaw Wrestling, and certainly on the back end of their careers, they should still be considered live underdogs in this one. PEWA Extreme Title #1 Contender Bout Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint vs. Victor Van BanningTwo very different routes for Mint and Banning headed into this #1 Contender match, with Pay Day Mint having pinned both Tomas and Downtown Lucy Brown to rise up in the rankings, and Banning having vanquished his nemesis, the Demon Priest in a thrilling Port City Pro confrontation. Both veterans of the ring have a range of skills that could come in handy, with both having expertise in submissions, while Mint's flash pin attacks and Banning's harsh elbows could make up the difference. The Return of Luke Powers Luke Powers vs. ZancaHaving spent months on the shelf following an unsuccessful attempt at prying the PEWA Extreme title from Young Blood, the PEWA's longstanding ace makes his return to action, reportedly with a new 2020 edition of the Powersbomb. He'll be looking to plant the arrogant stuntman, Zanca with his new move, and there will be few in the locker room that will not be cheering for that result. Ruler of the Road #1 Contender Bout Big Clay Hurst(Wrestle Parade) vs. Annie ChangTwo very different competitors will vie for a chance at the Ruler of the Road, with Big Clay Hurst bringing his brute force power up against the fortitude and spirit of Annie Chang. Both Hurst and Chang have been in the Highway Outlaw orbit as of late, even if neither is a full time member, and both have a chip on their shoulder, with Chang looking for her third chance at the belt and Hurst finding this as an alternate route around the Equalizer. CCW Junior Heavy Cup Match Daniel Ness(Dwight Gym) vs. Cruiser KhanOne of the more absurdly unlikely matches in Office history, with the geriatric, but homicidal Cruiser Khan representing the Highway Outlaws in the Cruiserweights Can't Wait Jr. Heavy Cup against the Dwight Gym's head trainer, former NCAA All American and Olympic alternate, Daniel Ness. Khan, the only available, eligible member of the Outlaws roster generally fights with no thought to the rulebook...unless he can use it, too as a weapon, while Ness's myriad injuries have robbed him of much of his ability, his sense of the mat still remains intact. CCW Junior Heavy Cup Match Hobo Harry vs. Dr. Trace GibsonThe PEWA branch of the CCW Cup will feature two outstanding Junior Heavies, with the ageless Hobo Harry having shown the potency of his fabled Hobosault in recent Pro Wrestling Revival action, while Dr. Gibson's intricate knowledge of the human anatomy and willingness to exploit it for the benefit of inflicting pain has been on display since his return at PEWA 20.
