Fast Eddie's Fast PicksBy "Fast" Eddie Edison Over the last few days, the people have flooded my e-mail and my social media accounts with endless requests for one thing. The betting public have seen the double card for Lariats and Legislators #10, and they all want the inside track on who to place their hard-earned cash on. Well, fear not, because Fast Eddie once again has your backs. So, let's get to the fast picks! (And for the record, don't use my tips for betting, I'm the last person you want to listen to for that.) Preliminary Main Event: Victorious Medal Bout G.P. Christopher(C) vs. Super Grey Machine If you don't believe GPC is going to deliver a one sided beating here, you don't know jack(or Eddie). Daughter's Grudge Della Dwight with "Textbook" Tim Dwight vs. Big Robert Montgomery Hell hath no fury like a 6'7 phenom who wants to break the man who broke her father. That's what Shakespeare said, and that's what I'm saying here. UCSS Rules Bout: The Dangerous One and the Big Banter Dangerous Nicholas Alger vs. "Big Banter" Rory BannerLet's face it, the Big Banter Brand is for real, and if you don't believe me on this, just ask Rory Banner, he'll tell you, over and over again until you have to believe, and I think that's why I'm picking him here. PEWA Extreme Tag Title Bout The Wild Women(Mina Fitsharris and Juliette Erving) vs. The Bingo Hall Mutants(Skullface Killah and Rampage Rage)No disrespect for Mina and Juliette, they're both as tough as a cheap Philly steak, but I gotta go with the Mutants here, they're almost as good enough at this hardcore thing to hang in AAW. Key word: almost. Main Event: Senatorial Retirement Tour Suerte Mariachi(Blackrose/AXE) vs. Senator Steve Phillips LOL, Suerte wins. That's how that goes, right? Seriously, I'm jealous of the guy. Not only does he kick ass everywhere he goes, Suerte has some of the best attire in the business and dances like Fred Astaire meets prime John Travolta. Some people just win at life...and all their wrestling matches. Victorious Tag Medal Bout The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto)(C) vs. Worldwide Conquest(ALEXANDER and Tarkhan the Mangler) Look, if you want to pick against Crusher and Wrecker, be my guest, but I for one do not want to explain to them face to face why I went against them, while they hang me on a locker and steal my lunch money. UCSS Openweight Title Bout Thiago Gracie(C) vs. Sanem Becker with "Big Banter" Rory BannerLike I said before, Big Banter Brand always wins. Banner told me this. Dominican Golden Championship Bout Salvador Sosa(C) vs. Gorilla Power I'm probably far off the mark here, because Gorilla Power looks like a generational talent in his wins over King Bemba and the New Humanity. But I just can't help but think that Salvador Sosa has at least 80% of what he has physically, and will be fighting that much harder to keep his belt. Pride matters in matches like this, and nobody's as proud of his belt in the Office as Sosa. The Loop Championship Bout Blue Destiny(Maki Yoshida, Jin Matsuda and Yumi Yamaguchi)(ZIP Japan)(C) vs. The Syndicate(Lucretia DeCavalcante, Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod)It's da Goodfellas, these guys are legends. But really, the reason I picked the Syndicate is because they just plain looked better than Blue Destiny in the match they just had. The ZIP fans can all send me their hate mail now. Anthony Kalb's Statement: Office #1 Ranking Bout Jean-Pierre Mutombo(C) vs. Anthony KalbNot really, I'm picking JPM here by a landslide. It's a joke, ok? So let me repeat this, shouting at you in all caps. MY ACTUAL PICK IS JEAN-PIERRE MUTOMBO. PEWA Extreme Title Bout Young Blood(C) vs. Tomas the Tiny GiantYeah, I went there. I picked Tomas, not just to win, but to finish Young Blood. The smart money's on the Tiny Giant. He's good at hurting people, and Young Blood's one more injury away from being finished. He's fighting on borrowed time. So that's why, while Young Blood can easily win this, and won this pre-injury, will lose this time around, and will be done with wrestling afterwards. You heard it from me, first. TIPWF Lone Star Championship Bout: Lariato vs. Wyatt III Lil' Lariato(C) vs. Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro)If you're not cheering for Doc here, you're a mark. I want to see it happen, I want to see him lord it over the TIPWF, I want to see him run their show, I'm willing this to happen. Main Event: Senator Steve Phillips Retirement Match Senator Steve Phillips vs. Geese Walker(OG-FPD) Yeah, I picked neither. This goes to a 45 minute time limit draw. Think I copped out on my pick here? Sue me. So there you have it, all the picks you asked for at the speed you need, this is "Fast" Eddie Edison, signing off!

RESULTS Lariats and Legislators #10: The Prelude 8:00 PM (CT) on Thursday, February 27 at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington, DC Main Event: Senatorial Retirement Tour Suerte Mariachi(Blackrose/AXE) vs. Senator Steve Phillips Technical, hard hitting action at warp speed would be a good description of what happened between Senator Phillips and Suerte Mariachi. Both men traded submissions and pinfalls across the ring, with the Senator's strikes and Suerte's agile attacks clashing inside and outside of the squared circle. Just as it seemed both men had come close to exhausting their conventional arsenals, Suerte took a page out of the Senator's book, capturing the politician with a classic rollup counter for the three count to conclude a superb match. PEWA Extreme Tag Title Bout The Wild Women(Mina Fitsharris and Juliette Erving) vs. The Bingo Hall Mutants(Skullface Killah and Rampage Rage) The Wild ones were literally out for blood here, busting both Mutants open and trying to utilize their speed advantage. It would not be enough, as the Bingo Hall Mutants absorbed everything that was thrown at them, and in response, Rampage Rage planted Mina Fitsharris with a lift up powerbomb, with Juliette taking just a little too long to make the save, as the Bingo Hall Mutants won the match, and once again became PEWA Extreme tag champions. UCSS Rules Bout: The Dangerous One and the Big Banter Dangerous Nicholas Alger vs. "Big Banter" Rory Banner A back and forth battle with high stakes on the line, waged at high speed, with Alger and Banner throwing heavy strikes for the duration. Banner's submission game came into play multiple times, but it was the classic Dangerous Kick high roundhouse that would knock Banner out for the count. Easily one of the best matches of the night. Rory Banner's loss here adds insult to injury, as he will now be banned from commenting on UCSS management going forward. Daughter's Grudge Della Dwight with "Textbook" Tim Dwight vs. Big Robert Montgomery The sky might be the limit for Della Dwight, but Big Robert Montgomery reminded the super rookie that she has a long way to go. The bluesman thwarted Dwight's offence and came back with a vicious succession of attacks including several Smokestack Lightning brainbuster chokeslams and a plethora of lariats, with one finishing the match. Preliminary Main Event: Victorious Medal Bout G.P. Christopher(C) vs. Super Grey Machine The Super Grey Machine put up a respectable fight, but GP Christopher was simply on another level, going move for move with the veteran, matching him, and then going one step higher, finishing the match with a Roninmaker ripcord lariat. --- Match of the Night: Senator Phillips vs Suerte Mariachi -A no-brainer, even if DNA vs Banner and GPC vs SGM were solid. Senator and Suerte traded moves at a blistering pace, both men surviving tough submissions and near falls down the stretch in one of the most exciting matches of the year for the Office, or any fed, for that matter. Performer of the Night: Dangerous Nicholas Alger -DNA might be in the best form of his entire career right now, as he fought off the threat of "Big Banter" Rory Banner, and nearly decapitated him with the Dangerous Kick. The UCSS commissioner might end up taking on the winner of tomorrow's main event at some point, following this performance. --- Injury Report Rory Banner: Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) -A Dangerous Kick to the head knocked Banner out, and it looks as if he will be taking the next two months off from UCSS competition, and having lost the ability to make demands for his Big Banter Brand, Banner will now be restricted to merely managing his charges at ringside for the duration. --- Digital Dave Doolittle: You just beat the Super Grey Machine, what's next? G.P. Christopher: Yeah, that's right, I just showed Shima Ito that I'm not going anywhere. Next up, give ALEXANDER his shot already, he earned it, but if he doesn't want it, you know who I think does deserve it? Rumika Hashi. She's been fighting hard all along, she can put up the sort of match with me that nets a hundo. By the way, Dave, what's up with that eighty-six? Weaksauce. Digital Dave: To be fair, the Machine never had you truly in danger, you never hit that avalanche corner move you were teasing, and there could have been a few more big moments in the match. An eighty-six is a perfectly respectable... GPC: The hell it is! I carried Ito's old ass like a C-130 out there! I deserved better! That match deserved better! Digital Dave: You know I am the foremost expert in all of combat sports when it comes to scientific match critiques. You may be one of the best performers around when it comes to ringwork, but my field requires a high level of expertise in evaluating formulas, maintaining impartiality, it's a full time job in its own right, and only a handful of people in the entire world have the credentials to have any true understanding of what this entails. GPC: And I know I'm just screwing with you here, Dave, you're the man...but seriously, that match at least deserved something around an eighty-eight... --- Big Robert Montgomery: Listen. I didn't ask for that match. But when you insult a man's pride like you did, you made a big mistake. Anytime I get in that ring or any sort of fight, I don't hold back. I didn't hold back against you. But you, you were too pissed off, didn't have your head screwed on right out there. All your talent, all your special skills don't mean diddly squat if you waste it fighting like a punch drunk brawler. For some, that works, but that's not you, is it? Della Dwight: I just...just wanted... Montgomery: Go ahead, get it out. Della: I just wanted to beat you from bell to bell, on your terms, wanted to go Julio Cesar Chavez on you, Mexican Style. I do that, it gets you back for what you did to Dad. But I just wasn't good enough. Montgomery: Look, you did what you could, your dad doesn't hold any grudge, he knew what he was getting into. And for the record, after that match, I'm fine with it all. He's getting along ok, isn't he? Della: Yeah...doctors said it wasn't fair how fast he's recovered at his age. Montgomery: Good. Tell him I wish him well. As for you...door's still open to Wacker Drive Revival. Either bring me a team, or I'll get you one. Just give me the word, got that? Della: Don't know if that's gonna happen. But I'll keep that in mind. --- The UCSS Commissioner, Dangerous Nicholas Alger could be found backstage, talking on his cellphone, gesturing emphatically as he did so. Dangerous Nicholas Alger: Yeah, that's right, Nicole. Felt like kicking a lamp post. Yeah, I used to do that. Back in the day. Toughens the shins, that's why. No, don't try that yourself. Got Candace there, too, put her on. Alright, yeah, thanks. You wanna learn that, I'm willing to teach. Just make the time. Alright you two, go kick ass. Don't let the losses slow you down. --- Kevin Anderson: This is your World Wrestling Daily Digest ace reporter, Kevin "The Internet" Anderson backstage here with "Big Banter" Rory Banner following his shocking upset loss to Dangerous Nicholas Alger. So, Mr. Banner, what do you have to say about that match? Rory Banner: No comment. I'm contractually obligated to give no comment. Anderson: Can you say anything about your own performance? Banner: If I were truthfully speaking of my match, I would again be speaking of things that would break my contract, so no, there is no comment about the match. Anderson: And what about your future and the future of the Big Banter Brand in the UCSS, with your gag order making it impossible for you to negotiate through the media as you typically favor? Banner: Once more, you ignorant shite for brains arsewipe, I cannot comment on anything that involves UCSS management! Now get lost before I give you a proper thrashing! --- Mina Fitsharris: It ticks me off that I'm not more ticked off. Juliette Erving: Eh, we got BBQ, I got my special ribs, it's all gooood. Mina: You're also guzzling that beer like it's water. Juliette: Nah. Rampage Rage: Yeah you are. Skullface: I don't drink that fast! Juliette: Hah! You're all a buncha lightweights! Mina: Seriously, we just lose those belts sitting over there, and I'm not even mad. Rampage: You ain't mad, 'cause we're all part of the PEWA family. And you two've proven you're a damn good team. All that trouble you gave each other, an' now you're lookin' like you always teamed. Ain't no team getting a shot at these before your rematch, anyway. Biff ain't gonna get on our bad side by doin' that. Mina: Guess you're right. Got another one of those steak burgers? Skullface: Few more minutes! Rampage: Next chance we get, rematch central, you two bring it, get CiCi and Annie at ringside with you, don't feel right without them there, too, got that? Mina: Yeah, sure. Juliette: Oh, we'll be there, alright...alright? Yeah, alright... Mina: Juliette, you might want to call it a night with that drinking. Juliette: Only if you're...hicup...coming home with me...hicup Mina: Maybe if you made the save instead of taking so long...too bad you missed out. Juliette: Aw...wait...what? Mina: Hah! Got you back for once! Rampage: Ain't sure how you two ever work as a team, but damn, you crack me up!

Thank you, once again, for everyone who showed up, or watched the VOD, or simply checked out the results for each night of Lariats #10, it truly means something to me that anyone has taken the time to support the Senatorial Office, and put up with the last month of self-indulgent retirement tour matches and promos from Senator Steve Phillips. Post show promos will be up in the next few days. RESULTS Lariats and Legislators #10: The Changing of the Guard 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, February 28 at the Pavilion Entertainment Center in Washington, DC Main Event: Senator Steve Phillips Retirement Match Senator Steve Phillips with Aoife Daley vs. Geese Walker(OG-FPD) In the final match of his career, wearing the classic red, white and blue shorts that were a trademark of his over a decade ago, Senator Steve Phillips left wrestling fans a gift for the ages with arguably the finest performance of his last decade in the industry, facing the challenge of a returning Geese Walker head on, with his girlfriend Aoife Daley at ringside, surviving multiple rainmakers inside and outside the ring and waging a late match comeback that culminated in one single Filibuster(in the ropes!) that led to the three count. Walker, himself making a return to the ring for this bout, was in fine form, applying flashes of the unrelenting pressure and power that have categorized his style for so many years, and controlled the pace for long stretches. TIPWF Lone Star Championship Bout: Lariato vs. Wyatt III Lil' Lariato(C) with Generalissimo Kool Q, Duke Cogburn and Hailey Comet vs. Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro) with Virgil Wyatt, Red Masterson and Byron Worthy This was the rubber match, the grand culmination of the feud between Lariato and Wyatt. And while Lariato started off strong, as the match went along, the Jackson Hole Outlaws(Virgil and Masterson, at least, with Worthy merely observing) became increasingly involved, with ringside observers noticing that Masterson maintained a constant stream of objectionable comments directed at Hailey Comet. During one escapade outside the ring, Wyatt managed to hit his Black Gold twisting cutter onto a steel chair, and from there, Lariato seemed more out of it than not, allowing his foe to hit another Black Gold cutter in the ring, for the three count. Doc Wyatt is now the TIPWF Lone Star Champion. PEWA Extreme Title Bout Young Blood(C) vs. Tomas the Tiny Giant Tomas seemed on pace to regain the PEWA Extreme title in this match, breaking his customary light tube and generally keeping Young Blood on his back foot. But it has been seen multiple times that when Young Blood is falling behind in a match, he is at his most dangerous, and the champ landed his Last Will and Testament fireman carry leg hook driver, twice in a row, and while Tomas kicked out of the first, the second left him sprawled on the mat, unable to continue as Young Blood walked away once again with the Extreme title, to the disappointment of the fans and the PEWA locker room. Anthony Kalb's Statement: Office #1 Ranking Bout Jean-Pierre Mutombo(C) vs. Anthony Kalb Anthony Kalb booked this match to demonstrate his bravery more than his competency, and accomplished exactly what he set out to do, as Jean-Pierre Mutombo ran him down like a semi truck, concluding the match with an emphatic Unifier brainbuster side slam to leave the Chairman of the Office sprawled out on the mat. The Loop Championship Bout Blue Destiny(Maki Yoshida, Jin Matsuda and Yumi Yamaguchi)(ZIP Japan)(C) vs. The Syndicate(Lucretia DeCavalcante, Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) While the Syndicate came into this match having already won this matchup in a non title match, and while they pummeled all three members of Blue Destiny from the opening bell, the ZIP trio demonstrated their sheer quality as the match proceeded, with Yumi Yamaguchi spiking Eddie the Wire with her Angelic Driver electric chair driver for the three count to retain The Loop. Dominican Golden Championship Bout Salvador Sosa(C) vs. Gorilla Power Beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the best matches in the history of the Senatorial Office, and were it not for the main event, the clear cut best of the year. For over twenty minutes, Salvador Sosa and Gorilla Power displayed skill, athletic ability, and an incredible degree of fortitude, putting on a match that could be seen as a current day preview of the future evolution of the sport. Each man went through a dizzying array of attacks, fighting inside and outside and above the ring, the match seeming to take half the time that it actually did, Gorilla Power surviving a startling combination of moves down the stretch, but Salvador Sosa would not be denied, landing one more twisting double chickenwing facebuster dead center to retain the Dominican Golden Championship, and to raise his stock to the very heights of the Office. UCSS Openweight Title Bout Thiago Gracie(C) vs. Sanem Becker with "Big Banter" Rory Banner Thiago Gracie almost got the armbar off seconds into the bout, and was clearly in control as the match went along. Sanem Becker, however, was far from out of her league, landing suplexes from multiple angles and finding inventive counters to Gracie's single minded attack. Even so, it seemed that there would be yet another Victory by Armbar, were it not for the prolific interference of Rory Banner, who was determined to pull referee Raymond Allen Fleming aside every time Gracie threatened with his signature submission. Frustrated, Thiago landed a wrist clutch exploder, and was waved back to his corner before he could follow up, resulting in a very unsatisfying TKO victory for the Brazilian. Victorious Tag Medal Bout The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto)(C) vs. Worldwide Conquest(ALEXANDER and Tarkhan the Mangler) The main night of Lariats #10 started off with a bang, as the Destructive Duo and Worldwide Conquest engaged in an all offence, no defense slugfest. ALEXANDER and Tarkhan were clearly focused on their mission, unrelenting in their approach, a dedication that paid off down the stretch as Tarkhan landing a diving Mangler Knee Drop off the top rope to gain the pin over Crusher Honda to claim the Victorious Tag Medals in an outstanding match. --- Match of the Night: Senator vs. Geese, Sosa vs. Gorilla -With a match as close to perfect as the Senator's retirement match/Geese's return bout, it's hard to believe that there was another match on the card that could have shared this. And yet, with the athleticism, power and heart displayed in Salvador Sosa vs. Gorilla Power, it was impossible not to award it to both matches. Easily, the top two Office matches of 2020, thus far. Performer of the Night: Senator Steve Phillips -Steve Phillips put on a display for the ages in his final match, and walks off into the sunset comfortably with this award. (So long as he doesn't try to make a comeback, taking on four bears in a steel cage...) --- Injury Report Anthony Kalb: Broken Rib (Three Month Medical Suspension) -The now-current Chairman of the Office took his chances against the best the organization has to offer, Jean-Pierre Mutombo and ended up taking the Unifier, the brainbuster side slam from Mutombo, and suffered a broken rib as a result. Mr. Kalb will now be forced to spend the first three months of his tenureship stuck firmly behind his new desk. Tomas the Tiny Giant: Concussion, Sprained Neck (Four Month Medical Suspension) -Enduring several Last Will and Testament drivers from Young Blood, Tomas was in no shape to continue, and will be looking at a lengthy recovery time following his title challenge, with a moderate concussion and a sprained neck.

Promo roundup following Lariats #10
---
Tarkhan the Mangler: <We will make the world quake and tremble!>
ALEXANDER: <We have overcome the initial challenge of the Destructive Duo, and now we will seek a new target to conquer!>
Tarkhan: <But before we do that, you face GPC!>
ALEXANDER: <We want all the belts, all the Medals, singles, tag, we will fight for trios championships...with our newest member!>
Nishimura Endo: <I have seen what you each have done. And in the time I have left in the ring, I do not need to waste my efforts. I will join your cause, and we will show the world what true dominance is made of.>
ALEXANDER: <The world is ours to grasp! Let everyone experience what is like to witness Worldwide Conquest!>
---
Thiago Gracie: Rory Banner talk too much. He make Thiago angry, stop from getting Victory by Armbar. Is no good. But you see, belt is still here. Belt is still here!
Dangerous Nicholas Alger: And I'm glad it is, old buddy, congrats on your win. Gotta give full respect for Sanem, too. She did her best. Gave you a real challenge.
Thiago: Yes, she no bad at all. Happy for rematch for her. But please no Rory Banner for Sanem corner.
DNA: Yeah, well, I'd be ok with that. Can't keep him away from her corner, though. It's kinda in his contract. And since I already shut him up, I'll accept that. But you know, I thought something. Remember when we had the first UCSS title match? The match made you champ, me Commissioner by losing. The other day, I kept the Commissioner's chair by winning. Did good enough, I thought I'd do something crazy. And that's asking you for a long awaited rematch.
Thiago: You want match for Thiago?
DNA: For that belt, yeah.
Thiago: Is good, do it.
DNA: Sure thing, old buddy. Just don't get pissed if I knock that title off you with my Dangerous Kick.
Thiago: Is ok, no Rory Banner, Victory by Armbar easy for happen.
DNA: Come get some!
---
Directly after Salvador Sosa's match, he stops in front of, ironically, the Gorilla Position area by the entrance way, addressing a cameraman.
Salvador Sosa: Damn! That was a hell of a match! Gorilla Power's the real deal, I just want everyone to understand that's the truth. He might wear some ridiculous gorilla head on his head, but the man can go out there. Matter of fact, I'm just throwing this offer out there: Gorilla, you and the Animal Farm got yourselves an invitation to the Rudo Army. Real's got to recognize real. And Gorilla Power's as real as a heart attack out there. So then, the Rudo...
At this point, Gorilla Power walks up, standing a few feet away from Sosa as he stares back at his recent foe.
Gorilla Power: Ooot Ooot Ooot!
Sosa: Now, man, that's the one thing we're going to have to work on if you join up with the Army....
Gorilla: Don't want to join. Want to beat you!
Sosa: And that, brother, I can respect. You got your thing, I got mine, I'm cool with that.
Gorilla: We're not done yet. Animal Farm needs a home, needs our sanctuary. Something that anchors us. Something like that Dominican Golden Championship. We go around Mexico, America, now the Dominican Republic, looking for our place. And we always get looked past. We're not good at fitting in.
Sosa: Hey, I get it, the Rudo Army, we're an army of outcasts and misfits. I promise you'll get your rematch. I busted my ass to beat you this time, and you're going to have to damn near kill me if you want this belt, but don't ever let anyone say Salvador Sosa's ducking a proper...
And suddenly, Colossus Rhodes bursts out of the curtains behind Sosa, bowling him over with a forceful lariat. Gorilla Power looks up, only to receive one as well. Before the two exhausted warriors can get up, Itzcoatl Hernandez and Poison Froggy Mask rush over and repeatedly stomp them. Soon, El Experto slowly shuffles over, staring down at the two with a look of utter contempt that his mask cannot conceal.
El Experto:(Translated from Spanish) <You thought you could keep Rudo EX away! Perfect sign that you lack the expertise a real champion maintains in this business. You thought Rudo EX was done because I retired? You are a fool, Sosa! And you, Gorilla Head, you made a very unfortunate mistake. You got in the way of Rudo EX. You got in the way of this man.>
And as Experto gestures, the New Humanity walks up from behind, looking down at Gorilla Power, a blank look on his face before he turned around, and landed a rapid standing moonsault on the gorilla masked luchador, jumping back up and landing another one before hopping back up to his feet.
Experto: <Rudo EX forgets nothing and forgives nothing!>
---
At the local medical faciity, two competitors met once again.
Jean-Pierre Mutombo: I am very sorry, Mr. Anthony Kalb! But that is what you asked for!
Anthony Kalb: Nah...all good...other than my ribs. Appreciate you stopping by, though.
JPM: You told me not to hold back, did you not?
Kalb: That I did. Don't you have a party...or something...to get to?
JPM: It is all good, Mr. Anthony, people know that if they are friends of Jean-Pierre, they must wait at times! And it is more important that I see that you are not hurt too badly!
Kalb: Oh, it hurts, alright. Might take an extra day for my big Chairman speech.
JPM: But you now give the speech with grit! As a man who overcomes great troubles to do so! Maybe I did a favor for you! Haha!
Kalb: Wouldn't go that far, JP. Now go get to your people...and I'll get back to my place...and sleep for a few days...I wish...
---
As Young Blood headed back to his locker room, light tube shards embedded in his head, dragging the PEWA Extreme title by a hand, the champ suddenly encountered an unexpected individual.
Luke Powers: Lotta disrespect, dragging that around like that.
Young Blood: Fuck off.
Powers: No, you listen to me. You never beat me. Old man Fury did that. I'm not scared seein' what you did to Tomas. I'm pissed. Way I see it, you and that belt're ripe for the taking.
Young Blood merely raised a middle finger, pressing it into Powers's face, before the PEWA veteran grabbed his wrist.
Powers: I don't care who you are. Don't...ever...do...that.
Luke Powers forcefully shoved Young Blood back with a stiff arm push to the chest. In response, the champion heaved the belt into Powers's face, and while he was able to catch the belt, it left him open for a ferocious kick to the groin, which Young Blood followed up with a series of stomps to the head and dropped down to fire away with repeated fists to the face, busting Powers open. At this point, with all the commotion, the Bingo Hall Mutants, Mina and Kevin Fitsharris and Juliette Erving showed up, forcing Young Blood to gather his belt and make a hasty retreat, leaving a trail of profanity through the hallways as he did so.
Rampage Rage: That wasn't cool, not cool at all. Shoulda waited for our backup, though.
Skullface Killah: Woulda beat him dead!
Mina Fitsharris: I'm getting real sick of Young Blood thinking he can do whatever he wants.
Luke Powers: Tell Biff...one word...Insanitarium.
---
Lil' Lariato: I don't know.
Duke Cogburn: Did what you could. Fought like a man. Can't ask for more. You pick yourself up, dust yourself off, get back to it.
Generalissimo Kool Q: Duke ain't wrong. But maybe you should take a little time, get back to the starting point, rethink, remix, renew, refresh. Been hitting your head against the wall with that fancy dressed hick.
Cowboy Johnston: Ah gonna take his damn head off! Where's mah Hailey?
Duke: Hailey's talking to Lily-Anne out back. I know what you're thinking.
Cowboy: Ah know exactly what ah'm thinkin! That damn Red Masterson kept runnin' his mouth at Hailey! People got these here videos from ringside, showin' what he said! Said he was gonna take her from me! That he's more of a man than me!
Duke: Just talk, son.
Cowboy: Said he was gonna give her enough kids to make himself a whole football team!
Duke: Just talk.
Cowboy: Said he wanted to ride her 'round like a buckin' bronco! That he was gonna break her back an' make her humble!
Duke: That son of a bitch, he was trying to throw Lariato and us off. But damnit, it worked!
Kool Q: We got so pissed with that loudmouth that we lost track of keeping Doc from dropping Lariato on that chair.
Lariato: Don't blame yourselves, all my fault there. I was doin' good until I lost my focus, let that happen. All my fault. But forget that asshole, go get your shot at Doc. You got that title shot in reserve, were supposed to be usin' it against me. Go kick Doc's ass, bring him back down to earth. Best thing you can do to get back. Best thing you can do for all of us.
Cowboy: Ah hear ya there. But once ah get...
Lariato: Hey, Cowboy, you listen to me here. Don't lose focus. Don't take your eyes off the prize. Forget Red's dumb ass and get that belt back.
Kool Q: Can't say I disagree. Red's just a street corner punk. Give him attention, and he wins. Ignore him, and get what you want. He's yesterday's news, he's old time blues. Look ahead, not back.
Duke: The one thing about the Cogburn Ranch is that we stick together. We're family. Every one of you are in this for the long haul. Lariato, you do what you have to do so you can sit tall in the saddle again. Stanley...just do whatever works best to get back for my daughter. Because I know if she wasn't bearing my grandchild, she's be first in line to kick their asses. So now, it's up to you. You hear me?
Cowboy: Loud an' clear.
Duke: Good.

Sitting at the desk formerly occupied by Senator Steve Phillips, a slightly uncomfortable looking Anthony Kalb stands up with a grunt, looking into the camera.
Anthony Kalb: Hello, this is Anthony Kalb, and I am the new Chairman of the Senatorial Office. I want to take this opportunity to speak with you, the fans. First off, let me just say, I'm not Steve Phillips. I don't have his gift for public speaking, my vocabulary's not quite as fancy and I might lack his deep vision for the business. But what you will get from me, as you did from the Senator, is straight forward honesty.
Kalb: Now, let me detail some of the changes here. First off, I've spoken with the newly instituted Board of Directors as we were preparing for Lariats #10, and I can now speak of what we decided upon. So, one of the things we've figured is that the Senatorial Streaming Service will now feature events from California's Spike Wrestling Association, starting this Friday with SWA: Takayamania Empire, an event dedicated to the charitable assistance of the great Yoshihiro Takayama. The SWA and its storied roster will not be a full Affiliate with the Office, simply broadcast partners for certain events. However, that does not mean that we are not seeking further negotiations for a roster sharing agreement.
Kalb: We also have, against my own protests, a full broadcast partnership now with Morgan "Midas" Matthews's Golden Touch Promotions. Mr. Matthews will continue to stream his events on our service, and he will, going forward, have near-complete access to the Senatorial Office roster for his future shows. As such, you might see potential ranking matchups on Golden Touch shows, with the ability to pit members of various Affiliates against each other in elite competition.
Kalb: We are also adding Highway Outlaw Wrestling as a full partner, although they are joining as a subsidiary of the PEWA. We will be looking forward to their particular brand of Dakota region barroom wrestling.
Kalb: Things will be changing over time, it's inevitable. But while we have a lot of promising ideas to implement, one thing I have urged, is to do so incrementally. As you have heard, our chief referee Raymond Allen Fleming has gone back on his own retirement, and will now be the main event referee for all Office promotions, as long as we can get him there for the show. Kevin Fitsharris will be serving as my Chief of Staff, and there's nobody in this world I'd trust more to have my back in the back office of the Office. I hope you will all stick with us as we go forward, as we try to maintain the vision of Senator Steve Phillips's creation, and as we continue to give you the very best in professional wrestling.

SWA: Takayamania Empire 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, March 6th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA
Main Event: SWA Tag Title Bout The All American Athletes(Blan Fleming and Max Bertrand)(C) vs. The Vanishing(Blade Saeba and Notorious)(Independent) A hard hitting tag title match featuring four of the biggest stars in the SWA orbit, with SWA Heavyweight Champion, Blan Fleming and the suplex master, Blan Fleming taking on one of the hottest tag teams in the entire world, The Vanishing, a team that has won gold across the United States.
SWA Prestige Title Bout Jose Santos(C) vs. Damon Smith A battle of grappler vs. striker as Luta Livre expert, Jose Santos defends against knockout artist, Damon Smith. Smith has sought a rematch in the SWA, having lost to Santos in their days in BLADE MMA, and will get his chance, with the SWA Prestige title on the line.
Trevor Darius vs. Steel Johnson Two of the top all around performers in the SWA meet here, with the Holy Hooligan, Trevor Darius combining technical skill with a deep bag of tricks, while Steel Johnson needs no introduction. This will likely pit Johnson's kimura lock against Darius's figure four leglock in a battle on the mats.
Thunder Devils(Laurence Holland and Dag Boomer) vs. Kizoku no Hanran(Dai Fugo and Fuji Akatsuki) Laurence Holland demanded a spot on the card for Takayamania Empire, professing his admiration for one of the chief inspirations for his career and a desire to help his cause. As such, along with the powerbombing bruiser, Dag Boomer, Holland will be especially motivated against the Aristocratic Rebellion of Fugo and Akatsuki.
SWA Prestige Rules Frog Buster(GFC) vs. Soji "The Warning" Kanda The supreme size and overwhelming power of GFC standout Frog Buster will put the Warning to the test. Kanda has stated that he does not fear his foe, and proclaimed that he will chop the giant down and break him with submissions.
Renacimeiento(Oliver Espadas and Leonardo Pascual) vs. Lindsey Stewart and Caroline Collins The arrogant duo of Espadas and Pascual will go up against a high octane pair of popular, dynamic fliers with Lindsey Stewart and Caroline Collins looking to win with the support of the fans that Renacimeineto disdain.
Abbie Jones vs. "Mr. Women" Jamie Wilson An opening match pitting technique against power, with Abbie Jones and her audacious style going up against the powerhouse attack of "Mr. Women." Jamie Wilson has been seeking a title shot against Blan Fleming, and a strong performance here will go a long way towards making her case for one.

RESULTS SWA: Takayamania Empire 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, March 6th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Bonus Match: Red Dragon vs. Mr. Cobra with the Goodfellas(Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) Backing up Mr. Cobra, the Goodfellas made the trip over from Chicago, but they might as well have stayed home, as Cobra largely eviscerated the Dragon in ten minutes, cutting him open and howling like a maniac all the while before locking in the Cobra Hold scissored cobra clutch, and holding onto it well after the bell. Main Event: SWA Tag Title Bout The All American Athletes(Blan Fleming and Max Bertrand) vs. The Vanishing(Blade Saeba and Notorious) The All American Athletes found no match on the SWA roster since winning the tag titles, but the pair of Saeba and Notorious were more than a match for the standout duo, pushing the pace, and Notorious finished the match with a thunderous Bastard Bomber axe bomber lariat to flatten Max Bertrand and take the titles. SWA Prestige Title Bout Jose Santos(C) vs. Damon Smith Jose Santos was on a mission as he outgrappled his old foe from BLADE MMA, outclassing Damon Smith on the mat, and finished him with a brutal front kick to the knee, putting the Enforcer down for the count to retain the Prestige title. Trevor Darius vs. Steel Johnson A departure from the rest of the card, Darius and Johnson slowed the pace down, focusing on the fundamentals in a technical battle. While Darius controlled long stretches of the match, persistently countering Johnson's attempt at his kimura lock, the Steel Driver would be enough to put him away for the three count. Thunder Devils(Laurence Holland and Dag Boomer) vs. Kizoku no Hanran(Dai Fugo and Fuji Akatsuki) The team of Holland and Boomer were dominant through much of the match, but when Dai Fugo started landing a flurry of head hold lariats, Dag Boomer nearly slammed him through the mat with a front powerslam while going back to his corner. With Fugo knocked out as a result, Fuji Akatsuki went into a post match rage, charging in and blasting Boomer with a powerful lariat. Expect these two to meet once again sooner than later. Frog Buster vs. Soji "The Warning" Kanda Frog Buster made his long awaited SWA debut in this match, ragdolling Soji Kanda for long stretches, landing long strings of suplexes, looking like a champion. Just when it seemed like the Warning could fight his way back in, with Buster showing signs of complacency, the giant hit a Turbo Drop to close out the match. Renacimeiento(Oliver Espadas and Leonardo Pascual) vs. Lindsey Stewart and Caroline Collins While the team of Stewart and Collins was thrown together, the two high flying ladies seemed to have remarkable teamwork in their own right, hitting stereio dropkicks and a shining wizard/diving rana combination at one point. At 18:47, Stewart pinned Espadas with a Magistral, but with Pascual's protests that "the captain needs to be pinned," the match continued, and while Leonardo Pascual carried on the fight for a little longer, he, too was pinned with the deadly Magistral, showing Lindsey Stewart's superior Lucha chops. Abbie Jones vs. "Mr. Women" Jamie Wilson A surprising upset took place in the main event, with Abbie Jones surviving Jamie Wilson's power to gain a remarkably fast pinfall following a spinning backfist to the jaw. The Naughty Girl could perhaps be in line for a Prestige title challenge with a result like this. --- Match of the Night: Renacimeiento vs. Stewart and Collins -A fast paced lucha spectacle that delivered in spite of the rather confusing conclusion. Performer of the Night: Jose Santos -The SWA Prestige champion did not only win his match with impressive ease, but dropped the top pure striker in the SWA with a vicious kick to the knee, a statement to the rest of the division to take caution when taking their shot at the belt. --- Injury Report Dai Fugo: Bruised Ribs (One Month Medical Suspension) -A brutal powerslam from Dag Boomer put the Japanese Millionaire down, and Fugo should consider himself fortunate that his injuries were mostly minor, allowing him a brief recovery before being fully cleared to return. Damon Smith: Dislocated Kneecap (Two Month Medical Suspension) -A front kick from Jose Santos dislocated Smith's kneecap, but fortunately, as bad as it looked, Smith's injury will only keep him out for several months, with a six week recovery period projected, and the two extra weeks added on to allow the Enforcer to prove his fitness before returning. Max Bertrand: Grade Three Concussion (One Month Medical Suspension) -Following a knockout by Notorious's axe bomber, Max Bertrand was diagnosed with a grade three concussion. While he quickly woke up, and was exceedingly angry following the loss, SWA and Office joint protocol require a minimum of a month's rest following a clear knockout.

Geese Walker comments on his match with Senator Steve Philips.
*The camera fades into a room that is so dark that we barely see anything. The only thing we can be certain of is that Geese Walker is sitting in a chair and leaning his head back to rest on the wall.*
[Geese:] "No matter how lost one finds themselves; everyone is equipped with a retrievable sense of irony.
I have grappled with this paradox over and over again in the past few days and keep returning to this point.
That which usually conceals somehow brought clarity. Filibusters are the bane of a representative government in that they veil the will of the people in procedural shenanigans. And yet, my true self was returned to me a week ago through the usage of that very move by Senator Steve Phillips. The mental fog and cobwebs of the past 15 months were neutralized by a concussion which reoriented my brain, improbably, toward full psychological lucidity. The lights have been turned back on.”
*Geese flips a switch and fluorescent tubes brighten up the hospital room in which he sits. We see him wearing a white “I can’t believe it’s not UBBLE” T-shirt and faded light blue jeans*
[Geese:] “In the final match of Senator Phillips' illustrious career, he has given mine new life.
I remember bits and pieces of the past few months – I certainly can recall training for this match and understanding the competitive significance of it. Words I have spoken in promotion of our encounter stick with me and make sense in context. But it was not until a few days after I woke up from my concussion that I could truly see myself in the mirror again.
The loss initially stung but a feeling of satisfaction started to emerge underneath it.
This wasn’t a modern retirement match where 'popping the fans' was a priority. You didn’t hold back, Steve. You fought with such ferocity that one wouldn’t even know you had any intention to retire if you hadn't announced it. Furthermore, no one could doubt that you could successfully continue for another ten years if you wanted to.
How many people planning to retire would risk injury to their opponent by utilizing a maneuver as dangerous as the Filibuster? Only those who knew they needed it to win and who had confidence in their ability to use it safely. Only those who have spent an entire career mastering their threshold so they wouldn't shy away from that crucial decision.
And that’s when I remembered. Everything that happened from the time of my return to the ring two years ago came pouring back into my mind. The record of those events was known to me historically but the philosophical significance had been muddled by the unfortunate, cowardly attack I suffered at the hands of Matthew Rivers and Ruby Moreno.
Thanks to Steve Philips not being afraid to do what was necessary to win, I regained my hunt for inner mastery.
That is the legacy of this match. We can talk about the moves, the near falls, the chess match that will never be forgotten by the fans. And strategists would do well to study our encounter. But all I will remember is his gift to me as a result of his competitive spirit - his drive to win his last match against a creature of chaos that wouldn’t be put down any other way than his best. No, I have not been myself out of the ring but I can assure you that irony is not the only instinct that has kicked in for me recently. I may not have fully appreciated the significance of everything, and I might have spent a few too many hours inexplicably checking stock prices before the match, but I can guarantee you that I was every bit myself in that ring.
If you doubt that, then you ignore the reality of the multiple times I came within a fraction of a second of victory. That’s why the Senator had no choice but to put me down in the most decisive way. And I will always thank him for that.
*Geese smiles genuinely but starts to look serious again.*
[Geese:] “Steve – as someone who once retired, I can give you this advice. Don’t fall prey to idle leisure time. There will be plenty of opportunity to reflect on your legacy as you find a creative outlet for it. And if you ever decide to return to the ring, I better be your first match back. But for going out on your own terms, and on top, you will forever be celebrated by those with purpose and ambition. And your legacy will reflect a man who made the world better by choosing to win."
*Geese nods to the camera and it starts to fade as he stands up and gathers his things to leave.*

My reactions to the Senator vs. Geese match:
I love that ring logo so much. Oh man! 👏
Great early striking from grapple and standing.
Loved the early spinebuster to pin to keep Geese on his toes early on.
Also love how Twitch keeps the actual chat dialogue from the night. I'm cracking up at some of this! :D
"OfficerBrightly:This is all just so Senator can become the President right"
Geese taking advantage of no count outs and using those "no ref break" stretches outside was so crafty.
"sy_hart:No Wondy to weird him out will make this tough."
LOLOL
Some great brawling leading to a strike exchange at 10 minutes and I love that Geese pins after it.
Love how Senator does his dragon screw -> leg submission (one of the first big moves) and then Geese immediately answers with his Osotogari!
Senator immediately reversing Geese's Rage mount into the leg roll was awesome timing!
Standing ECHO Lariats by Senator!
Geese just ran himself into the post, LOL.
Great brawling outside!
Oh wow! Geese hits an Osotogari on the outside and then follows it up with a Rainmaker Lariat! OUCH!
Another Rainmaker in the ring for just a 2 count.
ANOTHER Rainmaker at the 18 minute mark and this gets a super close 2.9!
Filibuster for the 3!!! Senator did it with his finisher to win the final match of his career!!
Incredible match!! 😄

Morgan "Midas" Matthews: Welcome one and all, this is Morgan "Midas" Matthews, and I am pleased to once again offer you a true luxury product on the Senatorial Streaming Service. First, let me offer my congratulations to Senator Phillips, he will be well served in removing himself from the wrestling business and going back to politics.
Midas: But that is not why we are here, we are here because Golden Touch Promotions is now an official partner of the Senatorial Office. The fine promoters of the Office have seen the sense of working with Golden Touch Promotions and not against it. And because of that, the fans will now be able to enjoy a greater selection of talent than ever before, on a more regular basis, with matches like the Big Boy Bash, or like Frog Buster vs. El Froggy Mask, matches you could never find in any individual promotion here. This is the best you can find. This is Golden Touch. See us live on Friday, either in person, or on the Senatorial Streaming Service.
Golden Touch Promotions #4: Big Boy Bash Friday, March 13th at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington, DC following the broadcast of All Time Boxing in our time frame
Main Event: The Big Boy Bash Concrete Pete(Phoenix Rising) vs. Skidmark(Wrestle Parade) vs. Big Bubba Bob(TIPWF) vs. Mega Meat(Wrestle Parade) A rotund rampage featuring four of the roundest warriors in the entire Critical Alliance, with Evergreen's Concrete Pete and Skidmark, the TIPWF's Big Bubba Bob and Wrestle Parade's legendary Mega Meat all looking to prove themselves to be the pound for pound best in the game. Thankfully, the Golden Touch ring was reinforced for the Rhodes vs. Hyper Earth and Rhodes vs. Giant the Cement matches, so no mishaps should be expected in that regard.
Frog vs. Buster Frog Buster(SWA) vs. El Froggy Mask(Santana Family Wrestling) It was inevitable. As the man known as Frog Buster crossed over from mixed martial arts to professional wrestling, he was on a collision course with the famous frog from the Dominican, the Notorious EFM. Will Frog Buster live up to his name with his fearsome size and ferocious suplexes, or will El Froggy Mask use his superior agility to thwart him?
Superkick Party The Milwaukee Bucks(Gianni Jackson and Mark Jackson)(Desert Pro) vs. PEWA's Most Hated(Jeffery Janson and Jeremy Wylde)(PEWA) One of the Desert's best teams will go up against two former PEWA Extreme champs with PEWA's Most Hated seeking to irritate the Golden Touch crowd by defeating Desert Pro's fast paced dynamos from the North, the Milwaukee Bucks. Expect fireworks, here.
Featured Talent -The New Humanity(Santana Family Wrestling) -Colossus Rhodes -Olga Oschtreicher(Typhoon Pro) -Nature Strange(W5)
In addition, Stanford Bradley will be opening up with a 30 minute set from the Funny Factory, but per negotiations, this will not be broadcast on the Senatorial Streaming Service, so this will only be 'enjoyed' by the live audience.
