Why cant your guys win matches Sen hahaha That is the essential question, isn't it? They win off stream all the time! But when it's gametime, well, you see the results.

Sounds like Tetsu won a competitive match! Glad that GPC made a comeback. I honestly think that Tetsu is best working somewhat as a heel in terms of match pacing (but not behavior) where he slowly controls the temp of the match with his leglocks and doesn't hit his early big moves too soon in order to allow his opponent to make a big comeback. And then, by the time the comeback has happened, the damage done to the leg throughout the match becomes a key factor due to Tetsu's submissions. It sounds a little bit like that's what happened here and I'm happy about that. There are so many matches where he doesn't do enough damage early on to get to medium damage and then is forced to make a comeback that he doesn't always get to. It sounds like he hit the right rhythm here, and hopefully he didn't spam anything. I think he had a lot to prove in this show after being the one to take the loss in the CERBERUS Finals.
I'm planning a big Matsuki Holdings press conference soon where they can address recent events.
Edit: I like that you used Tetsu's alternate costume. I don't give that attire enough love!!
Thanks again for booking Tetsu for your biggest show ever. It is truly an honor 😎

World Wrestling Daily Digest and the Senatorial Office present the post Lariats and Legislators #8 Press Conference with Senator Steve Phillips and the WWDD Editorial All Stars: --- Senator Steve Phillips: Thank you all for giving me your time and attention. I promise I will make this as short and substantive as I possibly can. I will make a brief opening statement and then you can ask your questions. Now, I know the first item that you all want me to address is the status of Morgan Matthews. I can confirm that Mr. Matthews is no longer associated with the Senatorial Office. The terms of his departure have been negotiated and confirmed. The funding and assets he has obtained for the Office will not be refunded. Any talent associated with Mr. Matthews are still under contract with their respective Affiliate organizations within the Office umbrella. As they signed a dual contract with Golden Touch Promotions, they will still maintain that association for the duration of their contract, and may compete under his banner, outside of the Office itself. The outside champions within the Office, in spite of their connection to Mr. Matthews, will retain their titles and will be expected to defend them within the appropriate organization. Those are the main points I wish to state, and I will now open up questions. Maxwell McNally: Senator Phillips, congratulations on consolidating your esteemed institution. If there is one thing I want to know, it's this; the final match of the War Series, was that your plan from the start? Or was that an improvisation? Senator: An interesting question, for sure. I will not lie. I was sweating bullets as I saw my champions fall, one after another. And the Series itself was over by the fourth match. Mr. Matthews should have been content simply to proceed from that point. And I had Felix Senior chomping at the bit to interfere in the main event, if anything were to happen, no matter what the circumstance. But no, my Nuclear Option was not planned out from the start. I had a vague hope that I could play upon the ego of Mr. Matthews if it came to this point, but I did not believe for a second that I could rely upon it as thoroughly as I managed. And the Black Dragon, her involvement...let us state that there were no words between our parties, just a sense, an intuition, if you will, that she was not going to do the bidding of Mr. Matthews. I trust that answers that question. Next! Kevin "The Internet" Anderson: Senator, to put it bluntly, your team failed you, badly. How does this reflect on your judgement? Senator: I am standing here, not Mr. Matthews. Do you need any more reflection? Anderson: Yes, actually. You said repeatedly that you had the moral high ground, but instead, you blatantly cheated your way to victory in a lopsided handicap match, and brutalized a non-combatant and a jobber in the process. How does that feel? Senator: Excellent. I have no regrets. Next question! "Digital" Dave Doolittle: Under my ratings, there was one match that rated a hundred and only one other that went above 90%. On the second night, it was obvious that the die hard fans of the Office were displeased with the matches, even the Tomas vs. Young Blood match that I rated 100% on my scale. Senator: Is this a question or are you shilling your ratings? Digital Dave: Senator, what I am meaning to say is, how much did the tension of the night play into your decision to make that main event so lopsided? With so many unsatisfying results, did you feel like you had to make that a completely unfair match? Senator: Speaking truthfully, that may actually be an insightful inquiry. Were circumstances different, would I have accepted a fair match, perhaps holding Felix Senior back? Perhaps so. Perhaps I had no choice but to deliver, and do so in such a lopsided manner. Or perhaps it was largely unknown if the Black Dragon would switch allegiance in the moment, if Mr. Matthews had more mercenaries in his back pocket that would have to be accounted for, I could not take any chances once I managed to secure a second chance. Next question. Branford Sranley: Yeah, is Stanford Bradley still under contract with the Office? Senator: Stanford, we all know this disguise is not fooling anyone. Feel free to remove the dreadlocks wig and the shades. And for your question, yes, Stanford, you are still under contract. And will be reporting to the TIPWF, going forward. Word has it that Doc Wyatt requested a "hype man." I believe you will fulfill that role. Stanford Bradley: Oh come on! It's bad enough you beat the hell out of me in the ring! Now you have me doing that? I don't want to be anyone's hype man! Senator: Either that, or you join the PEWA roster, immediately. Stanford: Just call me Stanford Flav! Senator: Very well then...does anyone else have a question? "Fast" Eddie Edison: Yeah, I do. I saw a lot of people from a lot of different feds there at Lariats. But nobody from AAW. Are you ducking the AAW roster? And when does Adrien Lawton get his shot at the TIPWF Lone Star title? Senator: First question: no, nobody was being ducked. I believe that there is a Deathmatch Summit coming up soon where PEWA talent will contribute, and will be more than happy to face AAW opponents yet again. As it went, I believe Mr. Matthews wanted no part of AAW talent on his team, likely fearing their reputation, and well, with my history with the organization, I was reticent as well to recruit anyone for my own ranks. Now, for the other part, Adrien Lawton can talk, but he has to earn his shot just like anyone else. I believe he asked for a match with Cowboy Johnston before, perhaps he can have that, if he doesn't mind it being a non title bout, now, but I will have to confirm with Commissioner Walt Callahan to make that official. Now I believe I have said more than enough for today, so I thank you all for your time and your questions. The Office is in good shape, is now financially stable enough to move forward without the cash of Morgan Matthews, and without his malign influence, I believe we can reach even greater heights, and that, my friends, is nothing, but the truth.

Over the weekend Ray Tolbert, Editor in Chief of The Wrestling Monitor, was granted an exclusive interview with "Gentleman" Doc Wyatt- the Warrior Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Champion, and recent B Block winner of the 2019 Golden Gate Tournament.
Both men are sitting across from each other, a coffee table displaying both championship belts in between them...The interview fades to black...

The TIPWF returns to action this Friday, with multiple titles on the line and an overloaded card! --- TIPWF: Lone Star Showdown8:00 PM (CT) Friday, May 24 at the Stockade in Amarillo, Texas Main Event: TIPWF Lone Star Championship Bout Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro)(C) vs. Lil' LariatoA predictable first defense for Doc, as Lil' Lariato immediately called him out after his one sided brutalization of former champ Johnston. Wyatt seemed dismissive of the junior heavy lariat expert, but could that be to his own detriment? One thing's for sure, Doc Wyatt will not be an easy target for anyone, no matter how much he runs his mouth. Adrien Lawton(AAW) vs. Cowboy JohnstonHe asked for it, and he got it. While the Money Maniac may not get an immediate shot at the Lone Star Championship, he does get his long-awaited bout with Cowboy Johnston. Can the Cowboy bounce back from the worst defeat of his career, or will Lawton continue wreaking havoc wherever he goes? TIPWF Lone Star Trios Championship Bout The Neon Knights(Supernaut, Holy Diver, Hija de Holy Diver)(C) vs. The Roland Chang Trio(Roland Chang Sr, Roland Chang Jr, Roland Chang III)The former Trios champs look to come back and win their erstwhile titles, but the Neon Knights have not only held on, but absolutely dominated in the trios scene. Hija de Holy Diver has fit in perfectly with her father's team, and the three have combined agility and fluid teamwork that has proven unbeatable thus far. Valentina Verda vs. Jimmy Jack WalkerTwo unorthodox grapplers meet in this matchup, with the Drunken Master of Redneck-Fu testing his style up against the EWO's flashy seeker of the flash pin. The standard disclaimer applies as usual: never try to predict the outcome of a JJW match. TIPWF Old Guard Championship Wataru Nakajima(ZIP Japan)(C) vs. Johnny SixnameNakajima defeated his long time rival and friend, Mr. Nobunaga to take the Old Guard Championship at Lariats #8, and seeks to defend it just as fast, taking on the TIPWF's Man of Many Names, Johnny Sixname. Can Sixname's rough brawling and bag of tricks stand up to Nakajima's legendary attack? Gunny Lee Hart and Stanford Bradley vs. The Blue Collar Brawlers(Everyman and Big Bubba Bob)Making his official TIPWF debut, Stanford Bradley teams up with his former trainer, Gunny Lee Hart against the Blue Collar Brawlers, fielding Everyman and Big Bubba Bob this time out. Can Hart and Bradley function as a team? Or will the Brawlers run roughshod over their foes? La Axolotl vs. Rodeo AngelThe opening bout is well primed to steal the show, with two luchadoras with a history facing off once again. Axolotl and Angel have had many matches in the past, and similar fast paced submission based attacks that should once again lead to a very competitive, action packed contest.

Promo Roundup for TIPWF: Lone Star Showdown
---
Lil Lariato:
I'm gonna throw a few verses out there if it's good with you all Doc Wyatt thinks he's a giant, but he's headed for a big fall He's a sharp dressed man, like Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top But he's only got a shallow plan, when he gets to the ring, he's gonna drop Wanna talk all day, wanna play the fool, think the world's here for you to rule But you're gonna decay, after I put you down, after I reach up and knock off your false crown You may have beat the Cowboy, grabbed up the Lone Star But my right arm's here to destroy, your reign ain't goin' far
---
Cowboy Johnston: Ah gotta say, Duke, ain't in the mood t' listen.
Duke Cogburn: Way I see it, you got a few options. And I have a stake in this. You might be giving me grandchildren, carrying on my legacy.
Cowboy: Aw, Duke, ya ain't gotta go there...
Duke: I can, and I will go there! It's the honest truth! You don't take care of yourself! You want to eat anything you want, you want to drink all the beer you want, but there's a point that catches up with you.
Cowboy: Hah! Yer lecturin' me about drinkin?
Duke: Kid, I'm the last man to tell someone not to drink. But you're overdoing it. And that's taking a toll.
Cowboy: Ah gotta say...
Duke: You will shut your fat mouth. And listen to me real carefully. That Adrien Lawton, he's no joke. Talks a big game, but you know what? He takes care of himself out of the ring. He's never showing up bloated up like a dead raccoon on the roadside! He showboats, cheats, mocks the other guy in the ring. Don't have to like him, or what he does. But damnit, he backs it up. And you haven't exactly done that lately, have you?
Cowboy: Guess...guess not.
Duke: Giving you warning, you're going to be my son in law, whether I like it or not. But I'll not have family let me down. And if I have to tell the truth, if I have to beat the truth into you, I'll do just that. You hear me?
Cowboy: Yeah, ah do.
Duke: Not saying you got to win them all. Nobody does that. But you better start putting the effort in. Doc Wyatt just plain embarrassed you. You already lost your rank, and your belt. Don't think you have much else you can afford to lose at this point.
Cowboy: Yah know sumthin, Duke? Losin' time an' time again, almost got me scared to get back in that ring. Like ah'm just gonna lose any match that matters, anymore.
Duke: Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway. You going to saddle up, and stand tall in that saddle?
Cowboy: Guess ah got no choice.
Duke: Always a choice, son.
Cowboy: Yeah.
Duke: Look, just one thing at a time. But you better take care of these things. First, go fight Lawton. Do your best. No more, no less. Then, get your damn self back into shape, don't half-ass it, stop relying on your natural talent, go do what it takes. And finally, you best do right by Hailey, got that?
Cowboy: Yeah, ah do.
Duke: Alright, let's start turning this around!
---
Roland Chang Junior: You hyped up masked bastards! The Roland Chang Trio's back in Texas, back in the game, and we're gonna take our titles back!
Roland Chang Senior: Neon Knights, you have been the most formidable team in the Office since it started. We acknowledge and respect that. But my family and I have an attachment to those titles you're wearing. And something a Chang never does, is let someone else take what's rightfully ours, not without a fight.
Junior: That's damn right! You metal headed morons! We're not taking this laying down! We're not gonna let you flip over our heads and mesmerize us like your're some blasted circus acrobat hypnotists! We're too focused for that! Our will's too strong to be broken by your tricks! We're gonna come out there and we're doing what we've always done! Kick ass and take belts! And I for one, am much more interested in kicking ass! In kicking you guys so hard that I send you into orbit, where you'll be floating around the earth like space debris, like the garbage that I know you are, like the...
Senior: Let's leave it at that, son. Kid, you have anything to add?
Roland Chang III: Nah. We're gonna win. That's all that matters.
Senior: You heard him! We're going to win this match, and take our belts, and after that, let's see what happens, shall we?
---
Valentina Verda: So, I just have to ask. Do you really wrestle drunk?
Jimmy Jack Walker: *hic* I do everything drink!
Valentina: So do you do better if you drink more?
Jimmy: More beer, more cheer.
Valentina: So, I heard they say that they all look better at closing time. Bet I look especially pretty in the ring then!
Jimmy: Nah, still gonna kick your butt, drop you with the Drunk Driver, keep on cruisin' for that Lone Star title, if you know what I mean?
Valentina: We'll see about that, won't we?
---
Lilly-Anne Cogburn: Alright now, I'm here talking to the man of many names, Johnny Sixname. You have anything to say about your match?
Johnny Sixname: Wataru Nakajima. The name of a legend. A man with a legacy nobody can deny.
Lilly-Anne: So, do you think you can make a name off Nakajima?
Sixname: Sure. Johnny Champion.
Lilly-Anne: Anything else to add?
Sixname: No.
Lilly-Anne: And there you have it! Johnny Sixname wants to become Johnny Champion! And I think that's the most anyone's ever heard Johnny speak...ever...
---
Gunny Lee Hart: Atten-HUT!
Stanford Bradley: Aw man, that nuked my inner eardrums, like you just Hiroshima'd my ear hairs.
Gunny Lee: You better be ready, bright and early! Because we're going to train for this match! And I will not accept anything less than a hundred and ten percent out of you!
Stanford: Didn't we already do this, like a century ago? Now my life's turning out to be an unholy mix of Full Metal Jacket and Groundhog Day. Get lost, Gunny, I don't need your training anymore, I'm Stanford Friggin' Bradley.
Gunny Lee: We are TRAINING! Because I will not team with anyone who is not willing to go the extra mile! Who is not willing to do whatever it takes! So pick yourself up, get your running shoes on, and we're hitting the track, maggot!
Stanford: I hate my life...I really hate my life right now.

RESULTS --- TIPWF: Lone Star Showdown 8:00 PM (CT) Friday, May 24 at the Stockade in Amarillo, Texas Main Event: TIPWF Lone Star Championship Bout Doc Wyatt(Warrior Pro)(C) vs. Lil' Lariato In a clear cut match of the year contender, Doc Wyatt sought to defend his Lone Star title, putting Lariato through the wringer, landing multiple Black Gold cutters among other strong techniques. But Lariato kept his eyes on the prize, and every time he seemed on the verge of defeat, pulled one more move out, forced himself up to his feet and finally landed a massive power lariat to claim the TIPWF Lone Star championship. Undeniably one of the best matches of the year, anywhere. Adrien Lawton(AAW) vs. Cowboy Johnston Seeking moral support, or perhaps not being able to reject it, Johnston had Duke Cogburn and Hailey Comet in his corner, and it may well have made a massive difference. Johnston, lackadaisical to put it mildly in recent showings, seemed to turn back the clock in a classic performance, thwarting Lawton's offence and putting the Money Maniac down with two Amarillo Sunsets. The reports of Cowboy's demise were premature, it seems. TIPWF Lone Star Trios Championship Bout The Neon Knights(Supernaut, Holy Diver, Hija de Holy Diver)(C) vs. The Roland Chang Trio(Roland Chang Sr, Roland Chang Jr, Roland Chang III) The Neon Knights have been the dominant team in the Senatorial Office, whether in double or trio form, but after losing the PEWA Extreme Tag Tournament, the cracks were beginning to show. And now the Roland Chang Trio brought their A-game to the ring, winning the titles off superior ringcraft and awareness, with Chang Junior catching Holy Diver with a pinning technique of questionable legality. Valentina Verda vs. Jimmy Jack Walker All previews for this match warned it would be unpredictable, and the results confirmed that fact. Walker was in his usual form, but that simply wasn't enough to avoid an 8:32 Backslide of Doom from his confounding foe. Valentina Verda can no longer be ignored in the Lone Star mix. TIPWF Old Guard Championship Wataru Nakajima(ZIP Japan)(C) vs. Johnny Sixname The Patriarch reminded the Amarillo crowd just why some people consider him to be in the best form of his career at the moment, running Sixname down, surviving a Sixshooter repeating piledriver combination and finishing with his trusty head hold lariat. Gunny Lee Hart and Stanford Bradley vs. The Blue Collar Brawlers(Everyman and Big Bubba Bob) Chaotic, wild, annoying, hard hitting; all words that could describe these proceedings. Stanford Bradley was his usual self, and paid a dear price for taunting The Everyman to his face, a Workman's Compensation big boot put him down for the three count, and Gunny Lee was a full ring away...if he really did want to make the save. La Axolotl vs. Rodeo Angel A solid opener, with Axolotl having much to prove, but Rodeo Angel's superior experience came into play, winning the match with the Dreaded Ranabomb. --- Match of the Night: Doc Wyatt vs. Lil' Lariato -This is unquestionable. While there were other good matches on the card, and Cowboy vs. Lawton would have easily won this otherwise, Wyatt and Lariato tore the roof off the Stockade with a roller coaster ride of a match, and while Wyatt's words may disguise it, he can walk away from this defeat having shown the heart of a champion, while Lariato demonstrated an inhuman ability to push forward through adversity. Performer of the Night: Cowboy Johnston -A close call with Lariato's showing, but Johnston's return to form deserves some recognition, and being able to neutralize the potent attack of Adrien Lawton was an accomplishment all in itself.

Finally, Lightning Pro returns to action with a hard hitting card featuring several big six person tag matches and a Preliminary Main Event for the ages. --- Lightning Across Japan Tour (6-7-19)Friday, June 7th, following All Time Boxing in our timeline, in Hiroshima, Japan at the Hiroshima Sun Plaza Main Event The Black Dragon(Phoenix Rising), Nishimura Endo and ALEXANDER vs. The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto) and Tarkhan the ManglerCrusher Honda has made it abundantly clear that she wants the first shot at the Black Dragon's Victorious Medal, following the aftermath of Lariats #8. However, she is far from the only contender in this bout, with Dragon receiving assistance from former champion Endo, who has stated his respect for her, and ALEXANDER, who has said that "any person who teams with Tarkhan is my enemy." Speaking of the Mangler, the massive Mongolian looks to team up with the Destructive Duo to do battle with the Dragon's team, a trio that could well strike fear into any foe. Dean Bardo vs. Eiji "Jay" SatoTwo top suplex masters in L-Pro square off in the penultimate match, with the Professional, Dean Bardo looking to match the throwing ability of the Bebop Tiger, Eiji Sato. Sam Hall vs. ???Sam Hall often has to fight to get onto the card, being somewhat out of favor with management, as often is the case wherever he wrestles. In this particular case, Hall has again called out OG-FPD's Yoshirozuna, but it remains to be seen if the massive sumo will show up, or if L-Pro will book someone else to take on the intransigent Texan. Kosuke Arai, Yuriko Masamune and Super Grey Machine vs. The Muscle Machines(Gary Gear and Adonis Avery Alexander) and Kyle Anderson(Phoenix Rising)An expansive early card bout with the three top veterans in the fed going up against a team that debuted on Proving Ground earlier in the week. Can Choppu, Masamune and the Machine take advantage of the obvious jet lag or will the Machines and Anderson dominate with their power, with a lack of Todd Colton on the opposing side? Preliminary Main Event G.P. Christopher vs. Masa TokugawaTwo of the best in L-Pro open the show off with a match that will almost certainly set the winner up with a future chance at the Victorious Medal, provided they play their cards right. Christopher has vowed to challenge for the belt in the "Preliminary Main Event" while Tokugawa has claimed that he wishes to "bring about the beginning of the end" with his victory. Neither sounds like a great result for L-Pro! However, this match should have a strong chance to be nothing short of spectacular.

Promo roundup from L-Pro (<Brackets> = Translated from Japanese)
G.P. Christopher: That's right, I've proven over and over that the Preliminary Main Event is the real deal. There's more pressure to get the crowd going, but once you get them going, it's a feeling like nothing else, because they've not been worn out or bored by a night full of matches. It's the best spot on the card, period. And I'm making a statement here. If I beat Masa Tokugawa, I want a shot at the Black Dragon and the Victorious Medal, right here, on my spot on the card. I proved that this is a big deal. Now I'm going to run with that ball, the King of the Openers will be the Victorious King of them all.
Masa Tokugawa: <The end can come at any time. At the end of a long life...or right at the start. The apocalypse waits for no person. And for GPC, it will not wait for the end of the show. Prepare yourself, Ronin, because though you might crown yourself King, even a ruler will fall.>
Sam Hall: Alright, Lightning Pro, you finally got me on the card, so congratu-friggin-lations, you mealy mouthed bums! So, you keep me in the dark about my match? You got a problem telling me who I'm facing? Because if it's not that fatass bastard Yoshirozuna, I'm not gonna do a damn thing! I'll walk right back up that aisle and find some other fed that actually appreciates what I do out here! So you got one chance, and only one chance to show that you know what you're doing! I hope you do the right thing, damnit! Gimmie my damn rematch already!
Nishimura Endo: <All good things come to an end, even my reign with the Victorious Medal. Dragon, I will be honest. I did not truly believe in the hype when I was told about your challenge. I knew you were good. But many good ones fell before me in the past. You, though, lived up to your accolades and exceeded them. That is a person I will proudly stand by. And I will proudly challenge you again if you would allow me to do so, in the future. There was a time I would have retired after such a loss. But I know now that there is still life in my career. And that I have time to prepare myself properly and let you rightfully cement your reign before I try again.>
Crusher Honda: <Black Dragon, do not let yourself be deceived! You have won exactly nothing! You needed every dirty trick in the book to beat my team at Lariats and Legislators! You may have won over Endo, but he is old and impotent! Now you fight me on an even playing ground! And I laugh at those who say I should fear you! Instead, you should fear me! I will break your bones and grind them into powder! I will drop you on your head until you cannot even remember how to remove your boots! I will rip you to shreds and feed the shreds to the dogs! You do not know what you have gotten yourself into! But I do, and I am ready to do what I must do! Wrecker is ready! Tarkhan is ready! And we will eradicate all that stands before us!>
