To be clear, this is just how I personally feel about it. You might feel differently! I think it's because jumps in Strive, unless you airdash, have very little "hangtime," and you come down fairly quickly.

Ahh, ok. I haven't played it yet, by the way. Most of the information I have has come from a few articles I've read and a friend who bought it who is really into fighters. He favorably mentioned that the game feels heavier than previous games but didn't compare it to SF4 or anything. I totally get what you mean though. The lack of hangtime of a jump, especially relative to previous GG games, would definitely be another factor in its weight. He also mentioned that the combos are shorter and the individual moves have more impact: feel and damage.

As noted in the video description, this match caused this dude to ragequit and refuse to rematch me. I think maybe he was just mad that he got baited so hard into that throw.

Wow, another awesome comeback! Faust is as bizarre as always, thematic character was my main in GG back in the day, I never got that good with him though because I found myself in awe and/or laughing about his move set.
