I don't think all of the MK guests have worked over the years but Rambo definitely looks like a winner in terms of execution. The only disappointing guest in MK11 is Terminator because while he looks cool, he's just too clunky and doesn't hit hard enough to justify it.
Really interesting that THE two big 80s action movie stars have both lent their likenesses to this for their iconic characters (Well, one of Stallone's, anyway). It's really kind of a shame that Predator and Jax' Carl Weathers skin/voice were in the previous game.

Hoping it's Hibiki and fairly certain that it is.
Would also be happy if it was Washizuka but he seems more of a long shot. He's more anachronistic.
Also REALLY hoping that SNK is testing the waters for a Last Blade 3 (or even an HD re-release of 2) š

The 4th and final character for Soul Calibur VI season 2 has *officially* been revealed
I never cared for Hwang or Yun-seong but I think the former looks REALLY good here. Like wow, that's a really cool looking reinvention of a LONG dormant (playable) character.

I love this stuff! Thank you for posting! I used to hit fighting games HARD when Iād get a new one, the promise of unlocking new characters was always so fun, even if it required a serious grind (ahem, Tekken). Very cool news, and yeah, I almost forgot Alpha 2 was released on cartridge, that seems crazy to me! |

Also Cham Cham and Hibiki have been revealed for season 3 of Samurai Shodown so far. Apparently a new game mechanic is being added as well.

^not gonna lie, I liked Cham Cham a lot in SSII as a kid because she was funny had a damn monkey (sorry but 8 year old me thought that was cool as hell, even moreso than Poppy and Mamehaha)
It's neat to see her again but I doubt I'd ever really play her. I completely missed out on the Last Blade originally and while I bought a port of online in the last year or two, I couldn't really get into it. Regardless, I think it's great that they're still supporting the game. I know the poor netcode put a damper on things but I think it's still a very fun and incredibly awesome looking game, even if it doesn't have a lot of modes like many other fighters.
I like the look of KoF XV and am looking forward to it, even if I have to wait to get a PS5 first.

I keep buying fighting games and rotating between the ones I have, but I've come to realize that I'm worse at them than I was before and I've lost pretty much all of the muscle memory I had and any reflexes that went with it.

ā¢ HAVIK
Gear: Helmet, Morning Star, Talisman
Tidbit: Can rip off flesh for boosts. Twists and contorts his limbs during kombat.
ā¢ SMOKE
Gear: Mask, Kunai, Enenra
Tidbit: Teleport heaven just like MK9. Can summon an Enenra to assist in attacks.
ā¢ SAREENA
Gear: Tattoos, Kama, Nether Stone
TIdbit: One of the best zoner characters in the game. Can use a Nether Stone to grant demonic abilities.
ā¢ TAKEDA
Gear: Mask, Whips, Sash
Tidbit: Borrows a shit ton from Kenshi, even uses his sword and telekinesis moves. Whips are even better than in MKX.
ā¢ REPTILE
Gear: Mask, Bracers, Kirahashi
Tidbit: Acid, invisibility and tongue attacks all back. Look borrows heavily from spin-off Shaolin Monks.
ā¢ ASHRAH
Gear: Hat, Bracelets, Kriss
Tidbit: Like Sindel, huge story retcon - Now an centuries old Japanese warrior woman killed and turned Quan Chi slave in Netherrealm until she is possessed by an ancient weapon. Biggest departure from original appearance. Nimble and fast like Tanya in MKX.
ā¢ DEATHSTROKE
Gear: Mask, Broadsword, Rifle
Tidbit: Plays a lot like Kenshi in MKX meets Deadshot in Injustice 2 meets Deathstroke in Injustice 1.
ā¢ ASH WILLIAMS
Gear- Boomstick, Chainsaw, Bandolier
Tidbit: Thank God he's in. Plays exactly like he should, little bit of Leatherface in MKX meets Quan Chi. Can use the book of spells to cast shit and summon zombies.
