It's weird. Even though Terry Bogard is clearly fighting against a stranger cast of characters as a recent addition to Smash Brothers, it still feels more out of place to see him fighting John Cena than like Donkey Kong 😁

Probably Orton or the Rock’s entrance would be appropriate, too? |

So I saw you mentioned Granblue Fantasy: Versus about a month ago in the above post. Have you played it at all? It's a bit expensive on Steam but I put it on my Wishlist since another friend of mine expressed interest in it. It looks really cool - like an RPG with fighting game mechanics for the battles and an anime motif. I actually haven't, yet. But, the game looks and seems primed for tourneys, since ArcSys was behind this one. It has a very extensive dictionary of fighting game terms that's worth a look. I'd also suggest taking a look at Battle Fantasia, since it covers the same bases (anime mixed with RPG stuff, ArcSys made it), which is a lot simpler in its controls and gameplay, but is important for the tech and engine it ran on. Might as well add these Rock/KoF exchanges:
The Rock certainly HAS to say something to Angel, right?

Cook, thanks for the info and thanks for the recommendation about Battle Fantasia too. I'll check that out, especially if it's cheaper. Granblue is more expensive than I actually have time to put into it to play right now, aseptically with everything else I have. So I may check out Battle Fantasia first. Might as well add these Rock/KoF exchanges  The Rock putting Orochi in his place had me legit LOL 😄 |
