Bernie Lomax as a cardboard cut out fan is the best sports moment of 2020. (Granted there hasn't been much competition) All we need now is "Enrico Palazzo" to sing the National Anthem for a game that Bernie is "passively enjoying." I hope Bernie finds his way into a virtual NBA crowd as well. "Weekend at Bernie's 3: Bernie in the bubble"

I’ve seen some brutal K.O.s over the years, something about this one stands out. I hope that guy is okay, what an uppercut!

I honestly would have missed it all if I hadn't seen your post
I didn't honestly know that they'd rescheduled it from its normal Memorial Day weekend (I thought it might have been canceled).
I'm not too too into pageantry but one of my favorite spectacles in sports is the introduction or the drivers followed by that famous phrase 10-15 minutes later. Shame I missed it this year but at least I can see the end. Thanks, Zealot. 8)

Is anyone else watching the NBA Playoffs?
I haven't been watching it with the same frequency just cause of schedule stuff but there's been some standout games.
Blazers vs. Lakers - Game 1 was my favorite game of the post season so far. I knew Lakers would take Game 2, but once Lillard got injured that was obviously it. Still, they fought until the end. And damn - Anthony Davis is just evolving into an entirely new form of Pokemon in front of our eyes. It was a great series and it's just too bad Lillard got hurt.
I was going to watch Game 1 of Mavericks vs. Clippers today and got gifted with the end of Celtics vs. Raptors.
You just gotta see the last 2-3 minutes of that game. Wow. Just absolutely wow.
First Quarter of Mavs/Clips is really good too and gonna check that more out later.
I don't have a prediction this year. I think there are too many X-factors. I'm kind of expecting a huge push from Giannis at some point and I also think the more playoffs games the Lakers play, the better they will be. I have no idea how the series with Houston will go just because of how streaky that team is. You never really know what will happen with Harden or Westbrook in a big game. They could go off for 50 or go 1/15. Davis has been a constant. Lebron is Limit Break dangerous in the fourth quarter. I'm looking forward to how dynamic that series will be while at the same time enjoying the more composed and steady pace we'll probably see from Mavs and Clippers (lead by their stoic team leaders).
I'm not as knowledgeable about the seasons and post seasons that the East teams had. Other than knowing the Bucks are in the hole and Miami has been on fire, that's basically just what I've read and not seen.

So men's tennis world number 1 and defending U.S. Open Champion Novak Djokovic lost his first match of the year yesterday by default (disqualification), which occurred when he inadvertently struck the one judge with the ball while venting frustration. It was completely accidental and the judge was okay (which is good, considering she was hit in the neck) but rules are rules and they went for the DQ.
Along with ending Djokovic's personal streak for this year, his impromptu exit from the tournament marks the first time in 16 years that one of Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, or Roger Federer will not appear in the championship match of a grand slam tournament. That's 64 slams. To say that those three have dominated the men's game would be a comically inept understatement.

I can't determine if this is the best onside kick in NFL history or the worst in-game awareness of a football team in NFL history.

Wow, what was that? That looked more like a nudge than a kick.

I can't determine if this is the best onside kick in NFL history or the worst in-game awareness of a football team in NFL history. It's a clever kick but the Falcons players did the worst defense of an on side kick I've ever seen.

I thought you had to spin n a circle for 3 seconds before touching the ball on an onside attempt.
They keep changing it so it's hard to keep up.

Another CLACCIC Falcons collapse as they choke to the luckiest team in the NFL in the Chicago Bears.
The Bears benched Trubisky for Foles in the second half and scored 20 unanswered points to get the comeback win. Holy shit.

I'm convinced that no team wants to win the NFC East.
