Anyways, if you look closely, you'll see that the team logo from the nameplate is also on the back of his shirt. So I guess at least we have a bunch of placeholder team logos.

i don't think this is worth the 20 bucks
it'll be at least somewhat more expansive than the currently available entrance mod, the new arena we saw looks good and at least stuff like entrance attires might be available for workshop? but i don't think this is worth the 20 bucks that spike's asking at all.

I hope this means we finally get entrances in Korakuen Hall. I'm a bit worried now because I have like 100 themes that I clipped at 30 seconds. This wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that I had to use audacity to mix them from multiple sources in the first place. It's not a matter of just re-recording off youtube. I have to recreate many multi track songs now lol. Consider that usually DLC is created along with a game, and then held back to sell later as an upsell. It's extra money for nothing. The actual staff is either laid off, or working on another title. Fire Pro Wrestling World launched almost 2 years ago to the day, and they still have a full time staff. At this point we are basically commissioning them to expand the game to our liking. You can get a poster of Becky Lynch at Walmart for 5 dollars. But if you commissioned an artist to make you one, it would cost (TIME * MATERIALS * PROFIT) many multiples more. If we want more DLC (and we all do), we have to pay what it costs to keep a full time staff working on the title. Everyone in this thread would be happy to pay less than 20$ for this. But we have to be realistic. We have to pay what it costs to fund that staff. We're also mostly going to be playing this game forever. It's not a DLC we'll dispose of in 6 months like other wrestling titles. If not, wait for a steam sale. They are lots of steam sales throughout the year, and you can make out like a bandit. Last time, the DLCs were a few dollars each. The fall and winters sales will be soon enough. |

The new Venues and Belt Parts is worth the 20 bucks for me. Hopefully they added enough parts for belts that we can make about every belt.

I'll probably buy it... but... that $20 price tag is a tad much for what's being included, to be honest. Unless there's a lot more being added in this DLC than I can easily see.
Still, with the entrance mod someone else made being less easily accessible (and maybe not working with newer builds of the game - confirm/deny?), this catches my eye. Especially if entrance attire is separate from the main attire(s).
The price tag, though... 😬

I think it would be incredibly misguided of them to add entrance attire and belts and not have the belts on during an entrance. It's most likely the reason the entrance attire feature was created. Ideally, they added enough belt plates to more or less approximate the created belts, and they appear automatically on the champion. I can't see why it would work any other way. I'd be fine with one belt face too. The game isn't high res enough to really notice. |

Well considering I'm saving $137 by cancelling my pre-order of WWE2K20 Deluxe Edition, I think I can swing $40 to pick it up on both PC and PS4.

They can get fucked charging $20 for something like this when we still need more venues in the game.
EDIT: This should have honestly just been a patched in thing if they couldn't get the price down to like $5, which is perfectly reasonable. I want the venues from Returns back. There's no reason they couldn't have given us the Shin-Kiba 1st RING ripoff or the M-Pro gym ripoff or the Big Japan warehouse ripoff or even the fucking Budokan. Instead we have the Tokyo Dome, a shitty WWE arena, an NXT arena, Arena Mexico and the fucking dojo. It's ridiculous.
