Patch 1.19 is live in Japan and (Apprently) North America now. I did a Google Translate of the SC patch news site: Add custom sound feature <MP3 import method> 1. Prepare a USB memory 2. Connect USB memory to PC and create dedicated folder for Fire Pro Create "MUSIC" folder, "FPW" folder in MUSIC folder 3. Save the MP3 you want to use in the FPW folder 4. Connect USB memory with saved MP3 to PS4 5. Start Fire Pro World and select "Import BGM" from the option menu <Available MP3 files> [Sampling frequency] 32000/44100/48000 Hz [Bit rate] 96/112/128/160/192/224/256/320 kbps [Codec] MPEG1 Layer 3 [Maximum file size] 5MB [Maximum number of files] 40 songs ------------ I've already downloaded and mass cropped 350+ songs so that 40 file cap is a bit of a pain but glad to have the patch and the specs for the files. I'm in work now but I'll have a go this evening (BST) and fill everyone in unless someone beats me to it. |

I have looked around for details about this patch but it the music import all it is? Not complaining. Just wondering if there was any other changes/fixes.

Aha, so it does work more-or-less like the custom soundtrack importer in Super Robot Wars.
That limit on custom soundtrack songs and file size is rough, tho, alas.

anyone got this working?
ive done everything they said in there guide..
but it doesnt seem to work.
ive reennamed the files like the wrestlers attached to.
ex. Chris Jericho.mp3 is Chris Jerichos theme.
but in game its still the default one....

Likely that Spike Chunsoft is being careful not to accidentally corrupt anyone's save data, like what happened when World initially launched on PS4. There might also be a hard limit on how much data can be stored on the drive per game. IIRC it's limited to about 1GB of user data. |

Need to get the FPWR in game BGM now :)
Also going to be tricky narrowing down 40 themes across all eras of edits.
I think I'm going to have to go " WCW nitro theme" for most of their roster.

So to make this work you have to copy every edit and then assign the music to them?

So to make this work you have to copy every edit and then assign the music to them? Yes. I've spent the better part of an hour editing themes and cloning edits. Tedious but fun. Really adds a lot to the game. |

Been struggling a bit to get the game to recognize all the MP3's i was trying to use. Wound up copying the WAVE forms in Audition, trimming the songs to about a minute and fading them all out, didn't quite work but I think they were lacking the ID3 tags the game requires. Want to take another stab at it, anyone have a good source for wrestler theme song mp3's?
Was a bit of a struggle to narrow it down to 40 songs, chose about 30 actual themes with a few stables included and another 10 songs I really like from different genres I can use on multiple wrestlers. Now just need to get the other files working then copy and edit all the related rassler's. Bit of a shame they'll no longer get updated when the creators make changes after that.

I've been using a "YouTube 2 MP3" site and getting them from there. Then loading them up in Audacity and exporting them with the specs FPWW needs. |
