Cool news today: You can now stream your Steam game (like Fire Pro World) to an iOS device using the Steam Link app. kotaku.com/steam-link-finally-comes-to-ios-1834799435Here's the link to the Steam Link App on the iTunes App Store: itunes.apple.com/us/app/steam-link/id1246969117I can confirm that this works. The connection was initially very slow but I dropped the video resolution to the lowest setting and that helped a lot. It's a bit slow to load but once it got going, it ran smoothly. It also was VERY easy to set up. I didn't really have to do anything in the Steam program on my computer aside from inputting a verification code that the app gave me on my phone. It's easier than the Steam link device. The biggest drawback though is that you have to either connect your phone to your router or use it on the same wifi network as your computer is on that runs Steam. So you aren't looking at true portability here. There's no 4G/data plan wandering (which would kill your wallet anyway) nor is there the ability to connect to a wifi network somewhere other than the wifi network that your Steam game is playing on. But there are definitely helpful uses for simming Fire Pro on your computer and then taking your phone somewhere close to sim for a little bit. I mean...the first application of this is pretty obvious, right? 🤼♂️📲🙅♂️🚽 He's throwing up the "X" sign so either someone just got CRITICALLED! or he's all out of T.P.

This is super nifty for all you Apple users. I've been using the Steam Link app on my TV for a while and it's fantastic for Fire Pro.

If Steam Link isn't great, you have an nVidia card and nVidia experience installed, I'd recommend the Moonlight app. It can have games added to it or just boot up Steam in Big Picture mode for you and I've found the connection to be better than Steam, for some reason.

Pretty neat. Hopefully one day it'll allow for streaming on LTE or other wifi connections, I'd love to have this available to show my friends some of my PC games they don't know about.
