Within the last two days my Fire Pro Wrestling World has been taking a very long time to load. The black and white circle FP loading image stays on the screen for up to 3 minutes before the main menu appears, and if I choose the FPW Net option then it just never loads.
Does Fire Pro on PS4 use some “always online” DRM ? Because maybe the fire pro servers connection might be to blame but it’s very odd how it’s only just suddenly become an issue.
I only have 329 edits subscribed, 3 refs, 10 ring mats. Nothing new subscribed to recently either :(

You could always back up your save and try a clean reinstall.

I've basically never been able to play the PS4 version due to the long initial long, it probably takes 3-5 minutes for the game to start and I have nothing downloaded on the game. I'm guessing this has something to do with the game checking online for downloads and the fact my router is in the opposite end of the house along with slow internet speeds. If you get this fixed please let me know the solution.

Thank you! I've experienced a few more freezes and a lot more lag on menus recently. Is everyone else having an issue where there is 3-5 seconds between returning to a menu and being able to move your select cursor? This is doing my tits in at the moment! |

Okay, I'm back and have done the above and there is no difference. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix the delay on menu screens. It's doing my head in!

That delay has been a “feature” since day 1 for I.

Also the slow loading is down to PSN having a freak out and the handshaking of the FirePro W servers, the loading has improved somewhat recently.
I’m still very tempted to unsubscribe from everything though knowing it doesn’t remove anything, just stops the game from searching for edit updates at launch.

The 3-5 second delay when you come back to the menu is supposedly down to how the PS4 version of the game autosaves. all they had to include was some icon to indicate this so people have the feedback needed to understand why the delay.
