That move was easily one of the roughest we've ever had but, given that yesterday was our last day holding a claim on the old place, it looks like it's practically over. We thought it was going to go well after securing a lease early in the month but we ran into many unforeseen delays and ultimately many sacrifices had to be made. All we can do now is carry on with what we have left and rebuild from there.

I'm glad that it sounds like its over. But I'm very sorry to hear about the sacrifices. I am guessing those are things that you couldn't take with you cause you didn't have enough time to do so. That is very frustrating. But like you said, at this point you just need to do the best you can to move forward. That's obviously much easier said than done. Hopefully you can at least rest in the new place and regenerate some energy after all of this.

PC crashed two months ago and Ive finally got it back up and running today.
90% of data survived.
My Fire Pro save corrupted.
I hate my life.

I had my one shot in the beginning when Steam was like 'hey your file doesnt match, want this cloud save from October?' But since I didnt realize my save was broken, I overwrote that :\ |

The technical issues I can live with. Hell if some of the Chicken Little scenarios others put up come to pass I feel like I can get along with our main counterpart at either location.
But the one person I wanted to talk with at best has a new (and rather suspicious) bad habit.

Unfortunately a lot of the same bullshit has started to pop up again. And under current circumstances it's going to be tough to try and feel out how things are going with a few people.

I didn't actually see it happen which is probably for the best. Strangely enough I got delayed talking to somebody I actually can trust (*knocks on wood*) about how things actually seemed to be going fairly well given the circumstances. But if it is anywhere near accurate then I really am done with her. You can throw a lot of shit at me but when you start involving other people it looks petty and childish at best.
As it is we lost a good teammate, who never seemed to complain although now it seems obvious he was probably hurting the whole time.

Even after 7 years it continues to get me how people can find a thousand other places to stash their discarded straw wrappers instead of using one of the dozen trash cans we have in the store.

I'm realizing belatedly that I seem to have accidentally left my DS behind during the move somehow. I mean, I distinctly remember packing it and could swear I've seen it at our new place since then, and yet it isn't here.
I mean, it wasn't seeing much use these days but it was still mine and it's annoying to have lost it.

There's still a part of me that wants to say "I hope one day she wakes up and gets tired of this bullshit" but it's seeming more and more like that would be a waste of my time and energy.
As it is "new" awesome friend had their own mixed news to drop.
