Hey all - I remember awhile back in an interview with the director, he mentioned the possibility of releasing a move creator to truly give the game to the fans. However, since then, I haven’t seen many updates on this topic. Personally, if done right, I’d easily pay the price of the game again for a move creator, as I feel like this would extend the life of the game indefinitely. Have there been any updates on this since it was first mentioned? Thanks.

Wasn’t it just mentioned as something the developers would love to offer the players but not anything concrete in regards to ever happening?
Once Spikechunsoft do their final patch before moving away from the game I hope it includes as many new edit patterns and moves as possible, like a final thank you and farewell surprise. Personally the idea of a move creator sounds just too good to ever be true.

It was the director's "Secret weapon". Is that confirmed? This was the secret he had planned? I had heard this before but wasnt sure if there was more details to it

I had heard this before but wasnt sure if there was more details to it Essentially, before the NJPW thing came along they were planning on releasing more sandbox-like tools, or at least that was the long term plan. Then NJPW happened and, well, the last year happened. I'm doubtful we ever see any of the things he was talking about before (RIP powerbomb through the announce table).

Here's hoping suda gets them to add the powerbomb through announce table and other such things.

Announce table is a texture for Big Garden Arena; you can't interact with it. As for a Move Creator, that becomes less likely as the memory limitations of the game are discovered; there's no way to import custom moves using any method that wouldn't result in the game crashing due to memory issues. So, outside of the mod version of the tool I wouldn't expect there to be any other solution for move creation.
