How good are the SWA roster? Seriously, I'm considering of adding them to my fed. Do I need to edit them, I think we do, to make them compatible with other edits?

Meh, they're ok at best. Logic and designwise they aren't anything to write home about. Plus their parameters and skills can vary quite a bit. I would try them out first, and then maybe edit them to fit to your own requirements.

They will need editing, logic wise but they're perfectly usable. They only have have the original 3 priority slots so you can add some more to cover pins & add some personality. I think the one of them (Alex Thompson?) doesn't have a priority linked to his Finish

As far as defaults go they’re surprisingly OK. As long as your own edits are decent they shouldn’t have too much trouble carrying them to a good match. You’d probably want to clone them and tweak them to your liking but they’ll be fine “out of the box” if you just need bodies to fill out a card.

their main drawback is that they've never been updated for 10/12 priorities, I'd say. They're alright other than that, I guess.

I'm hoping Spike allows us to use the new defaults introduced in Fire Promoter cause I like them a LOT more than the SWA defaults. I've gotten okay matches out of the SWA defaults but they tend to squash due to having high % of early moves and higher parameters (especially related to the frequency those parameters I use) than I prefer. But the characters themselves are really fun and I enjoyed using them and playing against them in the early days of FPW. I say clone the SWA edits that you like and tweak their movesets, logic, and parameters to smooth out any early big moves and overall competitive imbalances with your roster.

I remember we ended up using Alex Thompson in SCFL and his logic was a mess.
He wouldn't pin after his finisher, he did certain moves almost constantly. He needed work. I can't vouch for the rest of them, but I assume they're as messy.

They haven't been updated to take advantage of any logic changes, including the dive logic updates & priorities beyond the initial three; they're basically month one edits. If you plan on using any of them, prepare to make heavy modifications.
