Finally confirmed for Switch, PC, and Sony consoles This will be perfect on the switch. I remember losing my mind trying to get the crap you needed to get the lich character, and then the process of having your specifically aligned magic user killed while wearing the ring to complete the process. Fun stuff. Of course, the weenies are pissing and moaning about the smoothed pixels and a pile of other shit that has been cleaned up for modern displays and whatnot. 🙄 |

Square-Enix just ruining me. The Diofield Chronicles and Valkrie Elysium both coming out September 29th and Tactics Ogre Reborn November 11th all on top of the already released Triangle Strategy. They're going crazy releasing the tactics strategy RPG's AND I LOVE IT. I'm glad the genre is on an upswing. It was pretty much dormant at one point and I just had to go back to playing Final Fantasy Tactics again. Only reason I am not going to start another playthrough of that is because of the rumor of Square-Enix being poised to announce a Remaster of it at some point. It's already in development according to the same leak that revealed Tactics Ogre Reborn.

More breaking news: Konami announces Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remasters.
Konami must've taken notice of Eiyuden Chronicles and how the world threw a couple million dollars at it when it was announced on Kickstarter. A lot of the dev team from Suikoden 1 and 2 are working on Eiyuden Chronicle as a spiritual successor to Suikoden because Konami seemed to have abandoned it's beloved franchises. Still expecting Metal Gear news around the time they start showing trailer for the Metal Gear movie.

Eiyuden Looks so pretty, I wish I still liked / had time forJRPGs. I really enjoyed the Suikoden games back in the day, and this looks like a big upgrade. Konami is sad, they need to free the fan beloved game franchises they’re sitting on doing NOTHING with, and stick to pachinko. Either that or people involved with their storied library of games need to do what the Eiyuden project people have done (if they’re still willing) and create new projects in the flavour of the original stuff.
