So apparently there's a new college football game out for PS4 and XBox One, "Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019." It doesn't feature licensed teams but is fully customizable, allowing you to recreate your favorite teams. I don't know if you can import created teams from other users but if so, I'd imagine that it would be relatively easy (if a bit time-consuming) to assemble all 130 FBS teams (or FCS, or DII, DIII, or whatever you fancy). At the very least, the team colors are set to their in-game counterparts (for example, "St. Louis" in the in-game Super South Conference has the Black/Old Gold of the University of Missouri). Given that the game was created by 3-4 people, it's going to be missing some things that EA Sports fans are accustomed to (like in-game commentary) but still, it's nice that they're even trying something like this, all for $30.

Canuck Play is at it again, eh? It looks like there’s a CFL field configuration (bigger field than NFL), these people are ending up almost a football fire pro! Of course it’s Doug Flutie’s football, and even has music by the Arkells, too! Soooo Canadian! 🙂 Looks interesting!

I wonder if will be called the New Nintendo Switch, have a little grey rubber nubbin controller stick, and be able to emulate snes games? Oh wait, they already did that with the 3DS.

Why don’t they just drop the price instead of making “pro” consoles? I hope that happens once this thing drops, animal crossing is only a few months away!🙂

Just found out, last February a teaser for Darkest Dungeon 2 was released.

From the teaser I see the Hellion, Leper, Plague Doctor, Highwayman, Man at Arms and Gravedigger classes will all be returning.

According to this news story, Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness' is the inspiration for this installment.

Red Hook announced Darkest Dungeon 2 in February 2019. While the game will use an improved version of the core combat system, the studio stated its intent offer a completely different metagame experience. Narratively, the game is planned to show the nature of the evils emerging into the world beyond what players saw at the estate from the first game. To complete the sequel, Red Hook had already expanded its team from 5 developers for the original game to 14 and potentially more. Composer Stuart Chatwood, narrator Wayne June, and special effects team Power Up will continue to support work for the sequel. Red Hook anticipates using early access again for the sequel as player feedback was essential to the development of the first game.

An expanded metagame and the return of Wayne June as the narrator already has me sold on it.
