Missed it live, but I've managed to watch it and compile my stream of consciousness review here: Here we go!
Opening match was solid, and the finish was hilarious as one would expect from Monkey Mask, stomping away.
I too, believe in Firehawk '76 Jr.
Second match picked up big time around the nine minute mark, flying DDTs, Asai DDTs, powerslams, for a match that was fairly basic leading up to that point, it sure kicked it up several notches from there. How that Express didn't finish the match is beyond me, but the rana shortly after made up for that. Illium was spectacular in victory.
We need Butler Mask. Cosmica and Rosa did what you'd expect: put on a display of fireworks. It did not disappoint, even if it seemed to be more of a display of Rosa's skills than anything else.
Woohoo! Sorpresa vs '76 Jr! Mad I missed this live. Even late, however, it was a good lucha thing. Especially got a good laugh at the Makoto theme issues. 76 Jr using Taylor Nguyen's somersault kick loop! Phoenix Dive came close and 76 Jr fittingly superkicks the eternal fill-in into defeat! Enjoyed this quite a bit.
Double Dragon looking sharp as ever as their match starts. Anime Xtreme Entertainment, heh. Should mention that Sev's idea is rock solid, in creating a collection for all the moves/parts needed to use edits. Lash and Babe, though, were just too much on this occasion, fairly straight forward win for them, which really, we should be thankful for, in that Lash didn't head spike one of the Dragons out of the ring.
Poor Galacticat! Fantasia just cut through her like a hot knife through butter.
BLUE PUMA JR!! Gotta mark out for my guy here even if I do so late, heh. And he's justifying my usual accolades with some awesome moves during this one. Leon's no slouch though, and has given Puma a rough challenge, hitting a vicious Gory Crusher and a big dive. Amigos in the Windex, thankfully. Double Arm DDT for the win!! Super fun match, maybe my favorite one thus far.
Besos has to be the clear favorite, but any Hunting Party member has to have some tricks to play, as well. Mariachi Besos will be amazing. Brutal cross bomb off the top! Vicious stomp combo into a moonsault! Vertebreaker! Angel is on fire, boomshakalaka! Besos is in a deep hole at this point, but a Wheel of Love could help her get back into it...or not. Dominant performance by Angel, who may well be rocketing to the top.
Suerte back with the Rollercoaster?!?! Color me confused here, when did they reconcile? Somehow, I doubt there's full unity here, though, and that's going to hurt against the Party. Super Tombstone before the six minute mark!! We have blood now, and the hunters are as the sharks in the water. Violent brawl on the outside as Felipe and Shaka do battle inside. Axehandle into a diving elbow is as Macho Man as it gets. Pure chaos reigns in this match, and I am entirely unsurprised at that, at least. SUPER SUERTE WITH THE MOONSAULT!! Toro had a ton of momentum, and Suerte just said "no way, jose" and took that match for himself. Good stuff!
Couldn't go Dorado-less, could we? Super K into the magistral is neat, a nice change from it always leading to C2C. Dorado with all the offence going forward in this one, big time control of the match. Tombstone on the floor might change that, though! Scorpion Death Drop! A big bonk, perhaps the first of the night, surprisingly. Dorado's laughs are hilarious and remind me of the first boss in the old Captain America and the Avengers game. Comeback victory for Piqure!
All in all, a fun show that I'm mad I missed live.
MOTN: Puma vs. Leon
- No doubt these two put on the best match in a back and forth struggle that rarely slowed down.

-Utter demolition job from Angel, who is headed for big things.
