dramaticddt.wordpress.com/rosters/ Not a huge help with heel/face, but it's a damn good resource for stables. Plus, all the DDT off-shoot projects like Basara and Tokyo Joshi. puroresusystem.wikia.com/wiki/DDT_Pro-WrestlingThis site in general has been a huge help for me creating my puroresu rosters with factions' heel/face alignments. My current DDT roster in Fire Pro is outdated after seeing this link, but from what I can research, here's how I can make out the factions. DDT fans, please correct me if I miss the mark on any of these. Just trying to help out: - All Out: Face
- Damnation: Heel
- Shuten-Doji: Heel
- Disaster Box: Heel
- RENEGADES: Face
- The Compliance: Face
- DDT, Basara, and Tokyo Joshi Pro: Neutral
- GTA I think most Puro rosters are outdated by the time I finish typing this post A few years ago I made nearly all of the Dragon Gate roster/factions. I’d love to convert them to World but I’m sure it’d be way outdated.

I may be wrong but I think the height to size/appearance scale is purely SUBJECTIVE and Spike have NO ratio they stick to. I did a test with their default roster (I went to create an edit then chose a default wrestler as a template then looked at their stats) and there was no rhyme or reason other than how someone 'appeared' governed their appearance stat, and that appearance is not linked to their height. I looked at all of the default wrestlers and I found that this was the case (I'm at work now so can't remember which wrestlers exactly). For example, (according to Wikipedia) Randy Orton is 6'5'' and Brock Lesnar is 6'3'', and we can record this data when creating edits. However, due to a combination of Brock's height, width, muscle mass, presence and intimidation, Brock could be listed as 'large' or 'giant' and Randy could be listed as 'normal' despite Brock being 2 inches shorter. Another one is WCW/NWO Revenge fictional character Hawk Hana (a sumo wrestler). He was listed as 6'2'' but in the game he was taller and bigger than pretty much everyone else. I'm not sure which real wrestler he was based on, or maybe THQ recorded his height stat incorrectly, but you got the impression his overall his 'appearance' was supposed to be huge, despite how tall he actually was. With so many people having their own edits and creating their own height/appearance system (< 6'0'' =small, 6'1'' - 6'4'' = normal etc) having a standardised rule is tough, but turning to Spike for a definitive answer doesn't help at all (not much surprise there!). And Wolverine is even smaller than Rey Mysterio, but you wouldn't know it by most of the panels he's drawn in. It's an art thing. You always want to give characters a unique silhouette to define their sense of presence. You measure people by how many 'heads tall' they are. Orton and Edge always had a tall, lanky look to them because of the overall shape of their bodies, so the large size would fit them better because of how it makes them look overall. Lashley, Moose, and Brock and a few others give the idea of giants, even if they don't fit a certain height requirement. They are just huge beasts and are portrayed as such. Same with Kage in Lucha Underground. I have no idea how tall he is, but he's huge presence wise. Yup, just as you've said DM_PSX. And once I got around to this way of thinking I know longer had that niggling sense of my edits, my downloaded edits and the default wrestlers not being 'correct'. It made me relax a bit more.

I'm so glad for you guys. Really glad everyone is enjoying the dlc. I can't wait to see what happens now that everyone is on equal footing. And shout out to Spike too for keeping there promise. May the editing commence!

Believe you? About what? ❔ Howard the Goose is a mix between Opogogo and Goocifer. Belie DAT.Ohhhhh I believed you but was just very concerned that my computer wouldn't be able to run it. Thank you for showing my words from your perspective. I'd like to think that I came across as a gentleman there 🎩 As per okite yaburi: I've been testing it a bunch since the DLC dropped. My top concern was not having any control over it at all, and for a while it looked like that. So I made a forum post on steam, and one fella on steam forums was nice enough to do what looks to be a code reinforced clarification. Thread link: steamcommunity.com/app/564230/discussions/3/1732088458072847604/The infodump proper:
via alskanmammutti on steam forums:
CPU move stealing is controlled by (Flexibility + 40 - Showmanship), if that adds up to 0 or less then it never happens. The chance depends on opponent health and caps out at ~2.1% per front grapple against a near-dead opponent. For it to happen at all the opponent has to have lost more than 30% of their health.
A toggle or dedicated % would still be nice to have.
Soon as I read it i fixed up the test edits to have one treatment of 0 flex and 40 showmanship ([0 Flex + 40] -40 Showmanship) = 0. This got that treatment edit to have 0 OY attempts across the 15 sims I did. Both edits were setup to fish for OY via 100% endless elbow butts, allowing them to ONLY finish via stealing each other's SML + MED jumping fire powerbomb. Control was at 100 flex and show and finished the match every time at varying match lengths. Once again, as per steam user alaskanmammutti's advice: if (Flex + 40 - Showmanship) < or = 0, Okite Yaburi cannot happen. alaskanmammutti if you're on here throw me a pm sometime Wow, that is awesome information!! I almost always have high flex (in the case one of my edits walks into a dark alley and sees a shooter) so I shouldn't have a problem at all with Okite Yaburi happening. Ordinarily I'd say that 2.1% (as a maximum chance) is low but given all the damn 2% cross-arm powerbombs that Geese has been doing recently at the 5-7 mark, I'm not so sure 😲

I also tend to use high flex but I may have to bring it down if OY is happening a bit too much. Also it doesn't actually steal your "finisher", just the move in the X+square slot right ? In that case I may have to fiddle with some of my guys movesets xD

IIRC, Jason Blackhart says the game will do multiple checks for Okite Yaburi, and the O+X move is below... I think Finisher in any big or sml+med spot, Specialty in any big or sml+med spot, and Down+BIG.

I belive prior testing indicated that it steals your finisher UNLESS your finisher is not a front grapple, in which case it steals the S+M slot.

Any word on what controls the apron grapples then? Maybe just normal stand back vs grab setting? They need two moves now, and they need to add that leaping highkick/enziguri that damn near everyone does these days to set up flying moves.

Very good question 💡 I belive prior testing indicated that it steals your finisher UNLESS your finisher is not a front grapple, in which case it steals the S+M slot. Yeah, that's what I remember too. I think the order goes Finisher -> Special -? []+X slot. Also - does anyone know if the Okite Yaburi can CRITICAL!? I've never seen it happen when I was doing it in 1P matches before the patch. It would be awesome if it could but the screen may not be able to handle all those fancy fonts at once! 😁

I wish I was recording it and simming below 200-400% speed, I was just trying to check if the other guy was fucking about in large for too long.

So awesome to have confirmation that this is possible. CRITICALLING! an opponent with their own move (especially a finisher) would be an excellent way to end a big match! Did the "Okite Yaburi" message come on the screen at the same time as the "CRITICAL!" message?

I am absolutely overjoyed that Spike kept to their word and released this in September. I have changed my avatar in accordance. I'm so shocked, honestly, and so glad that I finally get to play this game. The hype had all but gone, I bought it as soon as it came up on the store, yet I didn't play much with it until now.
But having just done a few matches and a tiny bit of Fighting Road, my passion has reignited! I just had an absolutely beautiful match with me as Zack Sabre vs Bad Luck Fale and we even had a run in from Tanga Loa. I was doing submissions all over as Zack does while Fale the powerhouse was swatting me away like a fly. And when I locked in Orienteering with Napalm Death to end the match, it was fantastic!
Anyway what I read about requiring an online connection concerns me. If the internet were to disconnect during gameplay, would the game shut down? Or does it merely require an online connection on startup? Either way that is a pain.
