It’s going to sound weird but I want a lot of submission moves that don’t actually submit the opponent. As there are so many submission moves but the fear of unwanted match finishes make them all moot. Agreed. I would also like more submission moves that don't finish matches. I know it's a translation thing, but Golly Special sounds like the PG version of the move executed by G. Willikers. Post of the month 🏆👏 G. Willikers: Finisher: Golly Special Rare Finisher: Oopsadaisy (Top rope swing frankensteiner)

Agreed!
I would also love the ability to have wrestlers voluntarily release submission holds early leading to a dazed opponent. This could lead to cool combinations: Imagine like a standing back grapple sleeper released and then followed up with a sleeper suplex. It could also be strategic: a wrestler seeing that their opponent isn't giving up and so they try a different strategy while they still have the advantage in the situation.

We have an entire alphabet of alternate versions to play with 😁 The "D" versions are where the wrestlers turn the submissions into a ballroom dance.

Then we need a move called Vitamin.

I'll have my pirate edits equip the "C" version of that to fight the epidemic they suffer from ☠🏴

Now I'm just imagining an nWo-sized stable called Vitamen and they all look like this

As there are so many submission moves but the fear of unwanted match finishes make them all moot. generally if you don't want a submission to finish then set it to 0% in the highest damage phase, this will mean that outside of counters you won't be getting a submission finish at all.

I really don't want to make a Twitter account to participate, but I hope the seated senton wins. It works for a bunch of different guys and the meteora isn't a good substitute for it IMO.

I’m very aware of that. But there are sooooo many submission moves in the strong front grapple slot that can never be used

It'd be really nice if there was something similar to the signature/finisher flag, except I guess a sort of "ineffective move" flag. Just a third option in that box that allowed you to mark moves in a character's moveset as being unable to cause submissions, and maybe unable to cause criticals or something in the case of non-submission moves, maybe even with -20% damage in either case
Y'know, instead of there being moves that just can't cause submissions no matter how many times the ref asks no really, I want to be able to make people tap to the tarantula in no-ropebreak matches goddamnit

It would be nice if moves had clear indicators of being able to Submit, Pin, Critical. Like in the AKI games.
I’ve generally thought about renaming all the moves adding things like (P) or (S) at the end to highlight those that pin or submit retrospectively.
