The edit being back grappled by Peregrine doesn't look like any edit I know. From looking at the gif several times, it seems as if there's a bunch of edits trying to do moves and targeting might be getting garbled up.
Regardless. If it's not happening anymore then it might be a one-off thing. If it happens again, then it's probably a specific edit.

My guess is that I had subscribed to him in the past then somehow accidentally unsubscribed to him. So he's still in my game but not being updated. I think I will give his edit a sim though just to make sure he's okay. But I did check his moveset and everything was default: including the strike exchange taunt.

Same here. He's probably in my "E-fed Misc" group which is for individual edits of creators I know but that don't necessarily have a fed. I usually don't create groups for less than 5-6 edits of one person. I'll see if I can search for him since I think he may be causing the issue.

So far I've run about 5 Battle Royales and everything seems okay. I'm pretty sure it's edit specific. It happened twice in a row, at different points in the match, with the same group of edits.

I just looked through every folder I have that could contain an e-fed edit from someone else.
I can not find that edit that Peregrine is back-grappling!! 🤪
Either my tired eyes missed one or I allowed a real life edit (subscribed or default) into the Battle Royale by accident. This, of course, is a scandal for my non-canon Battle Royale Title. I expect to hear comments of "I told you so, this is what happened when you let RL wrestlers in, you filthy Goose swine."
In any case, I may have a rogue edit in my game that's capable of freezing wrestlers in place and messing with the camera.
