Thought this one was pretty neat. Thanks to some custom moves and no tie-ups this sequence had the appearance of being an MMA chain directly into a double team corner move.

Wow, I love how the mod allows you to go from the mount to the back grapple!! 😲
Excellent chain wrestling and amazing finish to that sequence!!
I had a cool moment last night that I nearly missed by sight but missed the opportunity to capture. It wouldn't have really made enough sense without context though so probably better I write it out.
Tetsu Gushiken vs. Naja Mask.
A few weeks ago I finally completed Naja Mask (an edit I first created in 2006 as a UBL original).
I gave him a specific sequence pair related to the Green Mist ("Venom" since he's a snake):
Green Mist -> Green Mist Taunt
Green Mist Taunt -> One of the running lucha roll-up moves.
So Tetsu and Naja are having a pretty competitive match where they are throwing all their shit at each other. At like the 16 or 18th minute, Naja taunts then (due to random logic) hits the mist on a dazed Tetsu. Naja then does the green mist taunt but Tetsu no longer has mist daze. Naja wants to complete the second sequence but is a little too close to the ropes to immediately attempt his run. So he has to circle back a little bit. RIGHT as he starts his run animation, Tetsu grabs him in the standing leg lock! After one ref check, Naja taps!
Tetsu is known as a scientific technical wrestler who prepares well for his opponents. I love the way he won this! The match got a 99% too which was pretty awesome, especially with the ending.

A real minor thing but it made me pop. It was a tag team clash of styles as World of Sport greats Johnny Kidd & Johnny Saint faced off against luchaodors Bandido & Flamita. The match was going great, but ended rather suddenly a little after 8 minutes into the match when Kidd made Bandido tap to the ironically named Mexican Stretch...

I've spent the last 12 hours or so working on a redesign / major update for Indie Lawson. Anyway, as you'd expect I'm doing test sims and then she goes and has this absolute cracking match with one of my faves from ZIP Japan. 20 minute time limit but these girls pushed it to the max!  When Fire Pro is good... it's fucking great :D |

Maybe my favorite end to a tag match, and the end of a 6 month efed angle (*cough* shamelessplugforLaGuerra *cough*) that I got on a first sim and had me awkwardly high five-ing no one in particular...

This was more of a face palm than a marking out moment but it made me laugh nonetheless. So I'm simming a match between my Champ and a masked wrestler. In storylines, the Champ has no idea who the masked wrestler is nor does just about everyone else. Around the 10 minute mark, the Champ uses Okite Yaburi to steal the masked wrestler's move. 🤦♂️ Like...how do you know what their finisher is if you don't even know their identity!! Moral of story: Disable Okite Yaburi during masked/mystery wrestler matches!!  |
