Week 1 Block A Results The show opens with Tank McDaniel, owner of Warrior Pro walking out to the ring and grabbing a mic…Markus Winter vs John LoganRecap: Markus Winter came out aggressive to start, but the rookie seemed to be suffering from the nerves of his first tournament match, and his opponent was a tough draw. Sporting a new haircut and looking fresh and determined, John Logan took care of business and finished off Winter with a pop up bomb.
Winner: Logan Rating *** Dirk van Orange vs Kevin RoyceRecap: The Duke of Holland got more than he bargained for in this one. Kevin Royce went straight for the chairs early and often, eventually busting Dirk wide open. Dirk never seemed to get into any sort of rhythm, off balance from the hardcore attack. Eventually a chokeslam into an Iron Claw was enough to seal the victory for the deathmatch veteran.
Winner: Kevin Royce Rating: *** Salvador Sosa vs Roy CarterRecap: This one became a battle of technical strikes early on, with Roy Carter’s MMA background being brought to the forefront. While the match started out even, with both men standing their ground, as the match wore on Carter started to overwhelm Sosa with strikes, and a Game Over piledriver sealed the victory.
Winner: Roy Carter Rating: *** The standings after tonight’s matches…

God dammmnn. Well, that was a hot opening night.
Winter vs. Logan was FIRE. Started off slow and methodical, then just got very good very fast. Some great near-falls there. The C2C elbow > taunt > lariat spot was especially awesome. Only getting 3 Stars? Bulllshittt, Digital Dave. Gonna make a bold prediction and say Logan wins the block, if not maybe takes it all. Though... I also have a sneaking supicion Royce will clobber people's faces with chairs and low rough defenses or some such will help him greatly.
Also, I dunno if you've maybe played around with the saturation or sharpness in OBS or something, or it's just due to the lighting in the arena/the arena textures (which looks FUCKING AWESOME, btw), but everyone really pops in these videos and everything looks really great. If it ain't OBS I think it's just a really great combo of the arena lighting/the arena textures and some really solid choices of colours/shading on most of the edits that makes them all look really great.
If I had ONE technical criticism it's that the voices get a bit drowned out by the crowd volume/noise. More specifically the ref and ring announcer. The wrestler voices are fine, but ref and ring announcer feel a bit low. That could be a stylistic choice, which is more than fine, but just at first glance it feels like they're a tiny bit low compared to everything else. Also, with free cam/Cam AI, if you use the default camera as your... default camera, you won't have that awkward shot of the crowd/floor at the start of a match.
Dirk vs. Royce was... fine. Good, really. A clash of styles, indeed, but didn't exactly gel as well as I would have expected from both of them. Or more so the clash in styles just didn't come together as well as I would have liked. I think that might be because it just felt like as the match was really starting to breathe and go somewhere, it got cut off at the knees and just kinda ended, falling pretty flat. Felt like Dirk carried a lot of this match, to be honest, then just kinda caught out by some bad luck (read: getting fucking obliterated by a chair) and it was over just as it was getting pretty good.
Sosa vs. Carter was a fun, technical showcase. The "eat shit!" armbar after the mount was especially hilarious. Carter is a god-damned machine. I think you've captured the "former MMA dude who's transitioned to pro wrestling" gimmick really well. Not even just in his simple attire, but in his mannerisms, moveset, and logic, too. Also, Sen, love the intricacies of Sosa's attire. It's very much got the appeal I imagine you were going for, and he's a rad-looking edit.
Anywho, fun first night. Overall, honestly, very solid stuff. Winter vs. Logan was MOTN for me. Love how you've integrated other people's edits, and done it very naturally. More importantly love that you've integrated more than just one or two people's edits, and actually have probably the most crossover of any e-fed going alongside Sen, I'd reckon. Very stoked for more, and I very much enjoy the Youtube clips and short nature of recaps. Makes things easily digestible, which whilst streams have their place and are super fun, and big long promos, or long screeds of prose without any matches whatsoever have their place are even fun too, sometimes some brevity is much-appreciated. For sure it is appreciated here, and it works for the format of a multi-week G1-style tourney. :)

Also, with free cam/Cam AI, if you use the default camera as your... default camera, you won't have that awkward shot of the crowd/floor at the start of a match. I think Lefty is of the same mindset as me: the default camera sucks shit and there would never be a camera posted in that position for a wrestling broadcast. I don't mind the few seconds of floor shot (not least since he and I drop logos there in our arenas so at least it ain't a totally blank floor) so long as I don't need to spend a single second looking at the hideousness of the default cam during a match. And hey, I thought Dirk vs Royce was pretty great, the reversal fest at the beginning was a lot of fun, and in particular I loved that last chairshot that drew a ton of blood in a split second. It actually feels good to see someone beat him for the first time in about 300 days now. And I ain't worried; there's still a lot of tourney to go and Dirk has yet to even begin Dutching up these mofos. P.S. It was pretty amazing Royce never got MMA mounted that whole match. Mightve gone differently had Dirk gotten on him some.

Week 1 Block B Results The show opens with the video screen displaying the Jackson Hole Outlaws in the locker room getting ready for tonight's matches….Lobo Muerte vs Doc WyattRecap: This match started slow, with Doc dictating the pace and preventing the luchadore from getting into his more natural rhythm. But Lobo Muerte may need to be taken more seriously in this block- after kicking out of the Black Gold cutter, Lobo ran wild with offense, flustering the Warrior Pro champ. Just when it seemed like Doc might weather the storm, Lobo rolled him up for the shocking upset.
Winner Lobo Muerte Rating: ***
After the match, Doc proceeds to berate the referee for what it seems like a fast count. The official dismisses him, and it takes security to escort Doc to the back... Vic Baron vs Johnny ThrowbackRecap: Easily the best match of the first round, with these two going back and forth taking turns suplexing each other to death. Baron focused early and often on sinking in the Crossface Killa, a move that has meant death to everyone lately- but Throwback was able to find the ropes each time. Eventually it was the Old Timey Wrestler, hitting a massive Smith Special to claim victory.
Winner: Johnny Throwback Rating: **** Brick vs Yoshi TayakiRecap: A brutally physical match. Yoshi Tayaki wasted little time going for weapons in this one, and using them liberally despite constant warnings from the official. Those weapons would prove to be his undoing, as Brick would serve a massive powerslam on the chair, followed by a closeline on the same chair, then finish Tayaki off with a Brick Wall chokeslam on the chair for the pin.
Winner: Brick Rating: ***
After the match, Roy comes out to celebrate with Brick as the show goes off the air, with Doc conspicuously absent... The standings after tonight’s matches…

Wyatt vs. Lobo was fun, fun, fun. A rad clash of styles. Lobo getting the win, too, shows some vulnerability for Wyatt, and makes Lobo look like a million bucks. That combined with Brick shit-talking could lead to some really interesting stuff.
I am obviously a bit biased towards Throwback but I feel like this was one of him and Baron's better bouts, and they constantly put on solid matches. Was legit surprised Throwback withstood that much punishment with the Crossface Killah, too. Really liked the psychology of the match with Throwback going for submission and then being like "Oh, well, fuck guess I'll have to throw him on his head a bunch." That was a fantastic, really fun match. Some solid near-falls, some tension with the submissions. Went solidly long without overstaying its welcome. Great stuff.
Yoshi vs. Brick was fun, in the sense that Yoshi got kama'd real fucking hard with that ending sequence. LOVED all the stuff onto the chair, then he just got his ass planted. Great, great stuff.
Audio still feels a tad low to me in general, but matches-wise, this was really solid stuff. Jazzed af for the next week.

G2 Week Two Preview Current Tournament Standings... Week One was filled with upsets in both blocks, setting the stage for week 2- will we see separation from the pack, or bounce back weeks from the losers? This week also see’s some first-time matchups with some of the biggest names in Warrior Pro, which has the potential to spark new rivalries. Week Two action kicks off with A Block on Thursday, and B Block on Friday. Check back for full results.Match Previews: BLOCK AKevin Royce vs Salvador SosaWhat Kevin Royce did last week was something no other wrestlers has been able to do for almost 300 days- beat Dirk van Oranje. The veteran now looks to build some momentum against the reeling leader of the Rudo Army. Sosa meanwhile will look to bounce back from a tough loss to pull even and stay in the hunt of the block lead. Roy Carter vs Markus WinterIt wasn’t that long ago that Roy Carter was terrorizing Warrior Pro’s Young Gun trainees. Now Markus Winter will have a chance to get a measure of revenge by upsetting the red-hot shooter. Meanwhile Roy Carter will look to build off his upset and continue to make a name as a legit threat to John Logan for the top spot in the block. John Logan vs Dirk van OranjeMaybe the most anticipated match of Week 2. How will Dirk respond to his first loss in almost a year? Can John Logan continue his tournament dominance, dating back to last years event? Expect fireworks as both men will be fighting not only for the tournament, but as representatives for their respective Bay Area promotions… BLOCK BJohnny Throwback vs BrickOur only match of the second week that will pit two undefeated wrestlers against each other. Johnny Throwback is going to have to lift with the knees if he’s going to try and toss around the 400 pound 7 footer. Brick looks extra motivated to show Doc Wyatt that he isn’t the most dangerous Jackson Hole Outlaw in the B Block. The winner may very well have the inside track to winning the block. Yoshi Tayaki vs Lobo MuerteLobo Muerte’s win over Doc Wyatt gave Doc his first non-title match defeat in Warrior Pro. His impressive performance gets rewarded with a match against the always dangerous Yoshi Tayaki. Expect weapons and blood in this one, as Lobo attempts to continue his cinderella run atop the block. Doc Wyatt vs Vic BaronB block closes out with a bit of a family feud. The Baron’s and Wyatt’s have never seen eye to eye, but somehow this is the first time these two wrestlers will face off in their respective careers. Going into this tournament, both men were favored to be fighting for the block, but both risk starting in an 0-2 hole. This has all kinds of potential to be match of the night, expect someone to reluctantly submit before all is said and done…
Despite not being able to compete, Rampage was on a local radio show promoting the tournament when Dirk van Oranje came up…

Week 2 Block A RESULTS The show opens with a video package from week one, showing all the highlights from the first round of matches. The arena then goes dark, and the show kicks right off with the first match…Kevin Royce vs Salvador SosaRecap: Kevin Royce came out looking to pick up where he left off last week, pummeling Salvador Sosa with strikes and using his strength to his advantage. Also similar to last week, Royce pulled out the weapons, swinging a chair to add to the carnage. But Sosa took all of that offense in stride, staying calm and waiting for his spot. Eventually the big man gassed and Sosa finished Royce off with a Swanton Bomb.
Winner: Sosa Rating: **** Roy Carter vs Markus WinterRecap: Another impressive match from the rookie Markus Winter. After standing toe to toe with John Logan in week one, Winter took Roy Carter to the brink in week 2. Surviving heavy offense from Carter in the beginning, Winter went hard trying to lock in the elevated boston crab for the submission. In the end though, Carter’s experience showed through as he was able to follow up a Game Over piledriver with a nasty kick to the face for the pinfall.
Winner: Roy Carter Rating: ****
After the match, Roy continued his assault on Winter, eventually locking in an armbar until officials broke it up and escorted Roy out of the ring. Carter then grabbed a mic to say “Better start listening to Wonderland punk- this shit you learned from Austin Baron is only gonna keep you in the loss column.” (an obvious dig at Baron being temporarily replaced by Wonderland as head trainer) John Logan vs Dirk van OranjeRecap: The main event was not without controversy as Logan and Dirk fought a tightly contested battle until through the crowd Rampage Hunter, forced out of the tournament due to injury, got involved in the match- creating a temporary 2-1 situation. Logan seemed reluctant to fully take advantage of the extra help, but the distraction proved enough for Logan to nail a Logans Run DDT and pick up what could be a very important win for the block
Winner: Logan Rating: ***
After the match, Rampage returned to the ring and started unloading punches on the still dazed dutchman. As security peeled him off, Rampage screamed “Rampage ain’t dodging NOBODY. RAMPAGE AIN’T DODGING NOBODY” A still recovering Dirk pointed at Rampage and was yelling back as the show went off the air… Standings after tonight's matches...

Week 2 Block B RESULTS The show opens with highlights from last nights matches, including Rampage’s interference with Dirk van Oranje and the attack after the match…Johnny Throwback vs BrickRecap: Hard hitting right from the start, Johnny Throwback worked hard the entire match trying to get the big man to the ground and keep him there. But Brick had other plans, tossing the Englishman around both inside and outside the ring. Brick would hit a Grenade on the outside, then roll Throwback into the ring for a Brick Wall chokeslam to finish off the match and pick up the victory.
Winner: Brick Rating: *** Yoshi Tayaki vs Lobo MuerteRecap: Fast action from the get go, with Lobo going right at the deathmatch expert, while Tayaki looked to muck up the pace of the match with weapons and dirty tactics. Lobo Muerte mostly avoided that strategy and kept Yoshi off balance. But the AAW vet proved hard to kill, shrugging off 3 Lone Wolf dives and was looking to build a comeback before a surprise rollup shockingly ended the match for Lobo.
Winner: Lobo Muerte Rating: *** Doc Wyatt vs Vic BaronRecap: This was an all-out war, and the best match of the tournament to date. Both men threw the book at each other, with numerous near falls and submission attempts. It seemed inevitable that the match would end either via the Killa Crossface or the Figure 4. Eventually, in the center of the ring, Doc was able to lock in the Figure 4 and force Vic to tap, putting Baron in a deep 0-2 hole.
Winner: Doc Wyatt Rating: *****
After the match, Vic rolls out of the ring and is slowly making his way to the back when Doc grabs a mic…

Let's get to some feedback yeeeeee.
Royce vs. Sosa: Glad that Sosa got the win here. I was worried Royce was gonna just run the block, basically. The spot where he hit the ref on a bump and immediately got a chair was rad. A lot of unintentional hilarity with some blatant whiffs on moves was pretty great.
The chair being focused on for a few minutes was rad. This match was pretty solid. Kinda devolved into a beatdown for a while, and honestly got a little bit bored? That sounds harsh, but... just kinda did nothing for me.
Winter looked like a million damned bucks, and even if he goes nowhere in this tournament, he'll have made a great mark on it by simply hanging in there and looking awesome, even in defeat. And Carter looks like a real garbage piece of shit. Loved the dig at Baron, too. Fantastic match. Winters kept it competitive, Carter looks like a god-damned vicious asshole both as a wrestler and character-wise. LOVED it.
Poor Dirk. :O I mean good to make him look strong in defeat, and I like the ripples of all this. Super intrigued to see where all of this goes for Dirk. I pegged him as having possibly the strongest tournament out of anyone, but god damn, has he got a mountain to climb. REF'S GOTTA DO HIS GOD-DAMNED JOB, THOUGH.
Throwback was trying, but man, Brick was, and probably is going to be his biggest challenge. Literally. Valiant effort, but he just... ya gotta change up that gameplan, my guy. The diving elbow spot where Brick rolled out at the last second was BRILLIANT. The German to the outside followed up by the diving crossbody was also pretty class. Desperation chair attempt was a nice character moment, too. Throwback gave it his all and looked good in defeat, but man, Brick is looking like unstoppable, even after he got thrown around and absorbed all that punishment. I'm all aboard the Brick train if it means he takes out Wyatt.
Lobooooooooo. Love me some Lobo. Him vs. Brick I think may very well determine the winner of Block B. Yoshi looks like a man who can absorb his punishment, no doubt, but he has gotta put a match away. All of that said: I did like the story of "well, fuck, my big-ass moves aren't working, let's fucking flash pin this asshole."
Wyatt reminds me so much of CeO, except even better. He's probably the best character going e-fed wise, alongside Dan's new druglord duder. And seeing him slowly maybe start to get his comeuppance? Great stuff. But credit to him. He still looks strong here. Wyatt has always balanced looking like an underhanded piece of shit with still being good at wrestling, which is important for a good heel and hard to do, especially via Fire Pro. He's written so well, and he's a solid edit. It's a BIG task taking down Vic Baron, too, who definitely early in this tournament seems to have hit a big snag here. Maybe this might see some kind of evolution in his character, or his moveset. Could be really interesting to see the repercussions of the tournament if Baron's misfortunes continue. And yeah, I'd agree that this was probably the best match of the tourney. I think I may have appreciated the pacing/story of Throwback/Baron a bit more but the nearfalls in this were awesome. Wyatt definitely looks like a million bucks for not only digging deep and not tapping, but tapping Baron out himself. Fantastic stuff.
Really really intrigued to see where the tournament keeps going from here, and I really like how storylines are evolving from the tournament itself. Love how the guest characters are treated. More so I love that there's a varied handful of them rather than, say, a handful of edits from one guest person. Would love to see one or two stick around, really, and see how things grow for them.
Bring on week three. :D

DIRK VAN ORANJE MAKES SOME REMARKS *The scene opens to a particularly dour Dirk van Oranje standing before a flock of reporters who are thrusting microphones and tape recorders in his face.*
REPORTER: Dirk, nobody'd seen you lose a match in nearly a year, and now suddenly you've dropped two in a row to find yourself in a deep hole to begin the G2 Tournament. Would you say that the level of competition here at Warrior Pro has been a bit more than you bargained for?
*Dirk fixes the reporter who posed the question with a particularly severe glare.*
DIRK: I would absolutely say no such thing. For anyone who has watched both of my matches in the G2 Tournament so far, one thing should be abundantly clear by now: These guys can't beat me unless they cheat me. Kevin Royce couldn't beat me without the assistance of a steel chair and a referee who'd conveniently gone blind. John Logan couldn't beat me without the assistance of that same blind ref as well as another wrestler, a wrestler so unremarkable and irrelevant I won't even bother acknowledging him by name. The simple fact of the matter is this: No one in Warrior Pro can beat me in a straight one-on-one, and they know this. That's precisely why they turn to illegal objects and crooked officiating instead of fighting me like men. I'm just amazed that I've apparently found a wrestling promotion whose roster is comprised of even more dishonest and dishonorable dirtbags than the i.W.e., which I previously didn't believe was even possible. Well you guys, mark my words: you are not going to see Dirk van Oranje lose another match for quite some time, and by the end of this tournament everyone here at Warrior Pro will fully understand the phrase 'If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much'.

G2 Week Three Preview Current Tournament Standings We’re a little under halfway through the tournament, and the block leaders are starting to take shape. This will be a pivotal round of matches where a win could cement block leaders, and a loss could eliminate you from contention. With so much on the line, this week has the potential to produce a few MotY candidates. Week Three action kicks off with A Block on Thursday, and B Block on Friday. Check back for full results.Match Previews: BLOCK ARoy Carter vs Kevin RoyceBoth men have been impressive so far, and a win would give either the inside track to the block lead. This match may come down to who can dictate the style of the fight. Roy Carter will have the obvious edge if this becomes a technical match, while Royce will likely come out on top if the fight turns into a bloody brawl. Salvador Sosa vs John LoganCircle this one folks, cause this could be the match of the week. John Logan has looked like his usual dominate self, and his renewed focus should be worrisome for everyone in this block. But Salvador Sosa isn’t just anyone. The Santana Family Wrestling star has proven to be incredibly hard to keep down, and his deadly senton equally hard to get up from. This one is a toss-up, and will likely shape how the final block plays out. Markus Winter vs Dirk van OranjeTwo men that desperately need a win to keep any chances at finishing atop the block alive. Markus Winter has looked extremely impressive in his first two matches, and an upset win seems inevitable at some point in this tournament. But will this be the week? Dirk hasn’t seen this much losing in a long time, though the circumstances of those loses can be very much contested, given how much the injured Rampage Hunter assisted in the one last week. A win for the Dutchman could be the start of a momentum shift needed for a late push to the top. BLOCK AYoshi Tayaki vs Johnny ThrowbackJohnny Throwback will be looking to shake off a rough loss to Brick last week and come back strong against an opponent that will be out for blood- literally. Yoshi Tayaki may not have a win in the tournament, but that hasn’t stopped him from brutalizing his opponents in each of his first two matches. Look for this to be another brutal match that may come down to whether or not Throwback can survive the onslaught. Brick vs Doc WyattThis match has layers. Brick and Doc have met one other time, in last years tournament, and it ended in a suspect draw after both men brawled outside the ring and never seemed interested in coming back. Coincidentally, that “draw” allowed Doc to win the block via a tie-breaker scenario, and it was a few weeks later that Brick and Doc aligned themselves. This time seems different, as Brick has been quick to point out that while Doc has conquered Warrior Pro, the big man stands as one of the remaining men Doc has not beaten. Will this be the night? Or will Brick be the one that eliminates the reigning champion from the tournament? Lobo Muerte vs Vic BaronLobo Muerte has been having a coming out party, with early wins against Doc Wyatt and Yoshi Tayaki, but this week will be another very tough test. Vic Baron must win to avoid getting eliminated from the block without a win for the second straight year. Will the Lucha POWER sensation take control of the block, or will “The Technician” begin his comeback in earnest? A couple of promo’s were posted on WPW.com…John Logan: Doc Wyatt:

RUMOR MILL A quick round up of the latest buzz in the world of professional wrestling…Wonderland sighting at Training GroundsIt was an odd sight at Warrior Pro’s “Training Grounds” wrestling school where interim head trainer Wonderland was in the building, presiding over several training sessions with the wrestlers. Wondy was seen in his typical purple gi instructing and demonstrating. There has been no new information on the length of former trainer Austin Baron’s suspension, or if/when he will resume his previous duties. We have been told that Austin’s wrestling contract is still active and that while he is barred from the training center, he could appear on a future Warrior Pro show. Presale for Lucha POWER: Especial Numero Dos lower than expectedTickets for the next Lucha POWER show have been on sale for a couple weeks now and reports are coming out that sales are down “significantly.” Since the affiliation with Warrior Pro kicked off, and a US TV deal announced, Lucha POWER ticket sales have been strong. There are rumors swirling that there may be reasons outside of fan interest dictating the low sale of tickets. We will be monitoring this situation. El Macho seeking investment from La Guerra? On the subject of the lucha promotion, it has been rumored for months that El Macho has been selling off parts of his ownership in the company, though to whom has remained a mystery. So far we’ve heard reports of Virgil Wyatt, Midas Mathews, CeO, even former La Guerra owner David Harley has been brought up. Add to those rumors- Sal de Roca of La Guerra. The two have been friends dating back to the early 2000’s, and word is the “silent partner” title is being used to avoid questions around where Sal’s money originates from. The precarious state of La Guerra could complicate things further… Virgil Wyatt in talks with Dragon Fire JapanThe patriarch of the Wyatt family seems interested in investing in wrestling again. The former owner of CWF in the late 90’s, Wyatt has been largely out of wrestling for the past twenty years. That might be changing. For years we’ve heard that the Yamamoto family has been interested in selling Dragon Fire Japan, one of the oldest promotions in the country. While its been noted that at best these are just exploratory talks, it is important to note that Virgil has purchased an apartment in Tokyo and has been operating Wyatt Industries from Japan for several months now.

Week 3 Block A RESULTS Before the matches get started, suspended head trainer Austin Baron walks down to the ring and grabs a mic…Austin drops the mic and walks to the backRoy Carter vs Kevin RoyceRecap: Royce looked dominate from the start, shrugging off most of Carter’s offense and blooding the Jackson Hole Outlaw. Roy rallied late and an armbar looked like it might end it, but Royce found the ropes- and then finished off the match with the Super Bomb.
Winner: Kevin Royce Rating: **** Salvador Sosa vs John LoganRecap: This may end up as match of the tournament. Tons of back and forth from the beginning, with each man trying pull away. The ending turned out to be a classic, as Logan hit a Logans Run DDT in the middle of the ring for a kickout. Then Sosa hit a Swanton Bomb onto a chair for a kickout. Logan came back to hit a falling lariat for a kickout. Logan followed it up with a big man senton into another lariat that was countered- but Logan would hit the standing neckbreaker then connect with a falling lariat for the pin fall.
Winner: John Logan Rating: ***** Markus Winter vs Dirk van OranjeRecap: Another week, and another almost win for Markus Winter. But you cant say he didnt give it everything he had. He was the aggressor the whole match, bloodying Dirk early, and in a wild sequence hitting finisher after finisher trying to end the match. But nothing he could do could quite put the Dutchman away. A pare of leaping cutters later, and Dirk barely eeks out his first win of the tournament.
Winner: Dirk van Oranje Rating: **** Standings after tonight's matches... /spoiler]

Welp, Royce is gonna win the whole god-damned block. He's strong af. Holy god damn.
Sosa vs. Logan was some hot shitttt. About everything from 8:00 on was fire. The taunt into a run from Logan, only to get clotheslined to all hell was so rad. Love, love, love that running moves can be intercepted now, and this is an instance of showing off how awesome that addition is to the game. But then Sosa ate it immediately after. Fantastic finish. Really fun match.
Oooooooof dat headbutt, though. Winters, again, looks like a million damned bucks. I hope despite all the losses this is the start of some big things for him. He puts on fantastic matches. Oranje looks like a million bucks, too, for hanging in tough. He's a finely-tuned edit that's really damned fun to watch. Interested to see how the rest of the tournament goes for him, as he's got an uphill battle, but all the talent in the world to pull off a huge shocker by winning the Block.

It honestly amazes me that Kevin Royce is doing as well as he is. A lot of it may have to do with his hardcore slant, but considering all he managed in his match with Carter was blood and no weapon shots, it's definitely not just that carrying him.
He's 145 points, fairly strong in his big moves but at the same time has a ton of glaring weaknesses that Carter was definitely trying to exploit... but man, he just doesn't stop coming at you. And god help you if you fire back and bust the man open 'cause he will come for your head after that. :V
There's a reason I had to "screw" him in Evergreen a couple weeks back. There was a very, very high chance that he would've just obliterated Mercy otherwise.
