The CCW Cup concluded with one of the best matches of the year in the quarterfinals and a night to remember for one of the most popular entries in the competition. --- RESULTS Golden Touch #8: CCW Junior Heavy Cup Following the broadcast of All Time Boxing on Friday, October 2nd on our timeline, at the Public Square in Washington, DC Main Event: Senatorial Office Ranking Match Jean-Pierre Mutombo vs. G.P. Christopher A true dream match between two dominant champions, but it seemed clear that this was Mutombo's match to lose. He did not disappoint as such, controlling long phases of the match and eventually tapped Christopher out with the Congolese Crab to move up to the second spot in the Office Rankings. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Finals Hobo Harry vs. Anaba Camacho By the last match of the CCW Cup, the hard fought wins Anaba Camacho earned took their toll, allowing Hobo Harry to fall back onto his bread and butter, landing a six minute Hobosault to win the competition. Battle of the Bulk Flex Steele(Wrestle Parade) vs. Gary Gear The Battle of the Bulk did not disappoint, a pure power display of big time slams and vein popping poses that had to be sheer nirvana for bodybuilding fanatics and strength boosters alike. While Gear seemed to take a commanding lead early on, with his heavy offence and bulky flexes, it would be Flex Steele who mounted an impressive comeback that culminated with a kneeling tower hacker bomb to seal the deal. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Semi Final Match Kaede Kinoshita vs. Anaba Camacho The Stardust Angel certainly put forth her best effort, forcing Camacho to dig deep time and time again in fending off her varied offence. Eventually, it would be the Navajo grappler who would move onto the finals by catching Kinoshita with a bridging Machine Suplex for the three count. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Semi Final Match Hobo Harry vs. Vice Versa Having scraped past Luchador Sorpresa in the quarterfinals, Vice Versa was noticeably short of her top form in her semifinal appearance, a condition that Hobo Harry took full advantage of as he cruised to victory by means of the Hobosault. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Quarter Final Match Anaba Camacho(UCSS) vs. Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi(Pan African Wrestling) A cracking asymmetric battle with the more measured approach of Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi losing out when Anaba Camacho decided to go all out with her best throws, weakening the Nigerian Prince enough to succumb to a rollup counter loss. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Quarter Final Match Kaede Kinoshita(Lightning Pro) vs. Elle Barrett(Wacker Drive Revival) Little time was wasted by Kaede Kinoshita, who thwarted Elle Barrett's typical technical approach with her own outright explosiveness, landing her signature Stardust Press to take the win. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Quarter Final Match Luchador Sorpresa(Santana Family Wrestling) vs. Vice Versa(TIPWF) An epic display of Lucha Libre was the outright highlight of the show and the tournament, with Luchador Sorpresa and Vice Versa engaged in a spirited tug of war, with endless submission attempts, flash pins and high speed attacks traded back and forth for nearly half an hour, neither competitor willing to drop out without expending their last drop of effort. Finally, however, there had to be a winner, and Vice Versa struck the final blow, landing an imploding 450 splash to net the three count. CCW Jr. Heavy Cup Quarter Final Match Hobo Harry(PEWA) vs. Daniel Ness(Dwight Gym) Hobo Harry, despite his grungy ring persona and high flying reputation, is one of the best technicians not just in the PEWA, but in the entire Office. He demonstrated this fact in ample manner by outwrestling the top trainer in the Office, and the most accomplished amateur wrestler in organization to boot. While Daniel Ness had his moments, Harry was on a mission, and after getting the best of his foe on the mat, the Hobo took flight with the Hobosault to punch his ticket to the semifinals. --- Match of the Night: Luchador Sorpresa vs. Vice Versa -Zero questions about it, as fun as the Battle of the Bulk was, this match was above and beyond, one of the best Office bouts of the entire year, and an incredible gift to Lucha fans. Performer of the Night: Hobo Harry -Three wins, one cup and a supersized check to boot. The Hobo may have had the best night of his two decade plus career. --- Morgan "Midas" Matthews: And here at this illustrious after show event, I have this wonderful golden CCW Cup and this giant sized $15,000 check to offer to the man who fought through them all, the PEWA's Hobo Harry. Midas's two constant companions, Irkalla and Persephone are seen holding onto the two prizes, Irkalla with the Cup and Persephone awkwardly shifting her grip around the giant check. Hobo Harry for his part, seemed rather nonchalant in accepting his reward, and started to turn away when Midas gestured towards the winner. Midas: Come now, you won, I intend to raise your profile as a result, don't you want to say anything? Harry slowed his pace, and after pausing for a moment, turns around towards the podium. Hobo Harry: Thanks for the stuff, man. Midas: So, I'm sure you probably don't have a place for that Cup right now, but I'm thinking that check could help fix that, righ Harry: Nah. I'm splittin' the check between the Salvation Army and a few other soup kitchens, gonna do some good this winter. Get some folks some socks and shoes, too. Cup...I can pawn this thing off real good. Midas: But, but...I had that made especially for the winner of this competition! It shouldn't just sit in some disgusting, roach bitten pawn shop! Harry: I don't care about cups, belts, whatever, maybe I give it to Biff, show it off at the Halcyon or somethin' like that. Or maybe I pawn it off, hahah! And with that, leaving an aghast Midas Matthews in his wake, Hobo Harry struts away, a new spring in his step. --- Senatorial Office Rankings: October 2020[Singles] #1: Young Blood (Last Month: #1) Still on top, but his inaction as of late may test the Board of Directors and their typical resolve to only let the Number One change spots through an actual match. #2 Jean-Pierre Mutombo (N/A) A big victory over King Bemba and a subsequent ranking win over GP Christopher puts JPM in a great spot for October. #3: G.P. Christopher (#2) The L-Pro champ drops a spot following a rather lackadaisical loss to his hero Wataru Nakajima, and a ranking loss to Jean-Pierre Mutombo but GPC remains as an active, impressive champion. #4: Valentina Verda (#3) Verda failed to dethrone Young Blood, but has still maintained an impressive record in the TIPWF, and has brought the EWO to a higher level in the fed. #5: Mr. Moonsault (N/A) Marcus Xavier finds himself back in the rankings following a high profile victory over Phil Mercury to regain The Loop for his D-Team stable and is once again the undisputed face of Wacker Drive. [Team] #1 High Plains Drifters(Walt Callahan, Marcos Angulo and Johnny Sixname) (Last Month: #1) The Drifters are still the team to beat in the TIPWF's highly competitive Trios division, and with Marcos Angulo officially transfering to the TIPWF roster, should be ready for their next challenge. #2 Black Star Cyclones(Layla Al-Amin and Esi Dogboe) (N/A) Regaining their Pan African Tag Championship in impressive fashion, the Cyclones are once again primed for dominance in a division which they have nearly cleaned out at this point. #3 The D-Team(Mr. Moonsault, Freight Train McMichaelson, Daunte Thomas, Astrid Johannson) (N/A) Once again the holders of The Loop, the D-Team are the most successful team in Wacker Drive history, and appear to be rejuvenated after a long period on the undercard.

One of the SWA's biggest cards, ever will take place this Friday, with a PPV quality event on the Senatorial Streaming Service as all titles are on the line, and big time matchups are the order of the day! SWA Premium Special8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, October 9th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Main Event: SWA Heavyweight Title Bout Karts Rowdy(C) vs. Max BertrandThe feud that built up since Rowdy won the title and Bertrand returned from injury will reach its apex at Premium Special in this title bout. The All American Athletes, for years the star spangled heroes of the SWA, have turned on the fans and taken a new approach, injuring SWA icon Steel Johnson in the process. Vowing revenge, Karts Rowdy is on the top of his game, and looks to be newly dedicated as he seeks to defend against Max Bertrand, but the former amateur standout may well be just as motivated to stick it to the fanbase in grasping the gold. SWA Tag Team Title Bout The Vanishing(Blade Saeba and The Notorious)(C) vs. Thunder Devils(Dag Boomer and "Ringside Thunder" Laurence Holland)A friendly rivalry has played out in long form over the last few months with the SWA Tag Team champions repeatedly facing two of the fed's most explosive threats in the Thunder Devils in singles competition. While many believe the Vanishing to be unbeatable in the tag format, the sheer power of Dag Boomer and the sharp kicks of Holland may well provide the tools to do the job. SWA Prestige Title Bout Jose Santos(C) vs. Winner of Four Corners Chaos or Sophia Rodrigues in the case of a Santos victoryWith a short rest after the Four Corners Chaos match, Jose Santos will defend his SWA Prestige championship once again. Should he prevail, his old Luta Livre trainee, Sophia Rodrigues will answer the call. If he loses, the winner of the royale will do so. Either way, Santos, of his own will, has sought a challenge above and beyond his usual matches. A Grateful Return Grateful Saeba vs. Blan FlemingAfter a short lived retirement from the ring and having become a pivotal member of the SWA's front office, the storied career of Grateful Saeba will continue once again as he calls out SWA icon, Blan Fleming for his recent comments and actions. Saeba may not be quite as imposing as he was in his prime, but the Combat King could yet pose a threat to the former SWA ace with his seasoned mat skills and heavy kicks. Four Corners Chaos Jose Santos vs. Frog Buster vs. Ewan Jacobs vs. Victor Bosch vs. Damon Smith vs. Abbie JonesDissatisfied with his perpetual hold on the SWA Prestige title, Jose Santos called out four of the division's top names along with MMA's Infamous Irish Sensation, the exiled Ewan Jacobs. To the surprise of many, Jacobs agreed to the challenge, and will meet former ringcard girl turned multi-threat talent, Abbie Jones, the heavy handed Enforcer, Damon Smith, Combat Sambo grandmaster, Victor Bosch and the titanic Frog Buster. Should one of these challengers emerge victorious, they will earn a shot at Santos later in the night, but a different reward meets the Luta Livre expert if he pulls out ahead once again. Legend Challenge Mask Legend vs. ???Having arrived in the SWA to seek out new challenges in his three decade plus career, Mask Legend issued a call for any fellow legends to travel to Los Angeles to face him. One can only speculate who the New Century Pro Wrestling star will find himself up against in this one. Canadian Dream Team(Canadian Grizzly(Santana Family Wrestling) and Allen Hawkins with Megan Chabot(Santana Family Wrestling)) vs. MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire with Mikazuki)Two top teams in the SWA will fight to move up in the rankings, with the newly forged MATWORK alliance of Cherry Blosssom Ikki and English catch wrestler, Thomas Lancashire having shown surprising potential, and the Canadian Dream Team always on the verge of a big run. With each side bringing support at ringside, and all four possessing advanced grapping capabilities, this one will likely come down to the wire. Barbed Wire Battle Nature Strange vs. "The Genocider" Sam BlocksFew people in the SWA hate each other as much as the avant garde, outside the box thinker in Nature Strange and the straight fowrward violence machine known as Sam Blocks. These two will look to squash their beef with the help of some barbed wire and landmines at ringside. While this environment may seem to heavily favor Blocks, the fact that Nature Strange readily accepted may either be a sign of his unorthodox perception...or his insanity. The Syndicate(Lucretia DeCavalcante, Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod(Wacker Drive Revival) and Mr. Cobra) vs. Red Dragon, Bobby Bobby, Keiichiro Asakawa and "Newface" John SmithAn eight person tag with the Syndicate facing off against an impressive array of the SWA's most popular members, with the Turkish American powerhouse, Red Dragon, the Madman from the Bayou, Bobby Bobby, the Strong Heart, Keiichiro Asakawa and the Newface, John Smith banding together against the former Wacker Drive champions. The Syndicate should have a major advantage in their well oiled teamwork and in the savage mentality of Mr. Cobra, but the SWA main army can't be counted out in this one. Battle of the Super Juniors Blood Angel vs. Hobo Harry(PEWA)A nitro charged confrontation will be the gift to those who make it in for the opening bell, as the 2020 CCW Jr. Heavy Cup winner, Hobo Harry will arrive at the Doors of Perception to take on the SWA's undisputed best Junior Heavyweight, the Blood Angel, Roy Bennett. Some are predicting this to be a matchup containing MOTY potential, with both Angel and Hobo operating at the very top of their game. --- (A clip of Karts Rowdy beating Steel Johnson plays) True champions find a way to rise to the top. (A vintage clip of Karts crossing the finish line in a dirt track race follows, with a jump cut to Karts climbing the crash wall and flipping away) They do whatever it takes. (Karts is shown reaching the top of an indoor rock climbing wall and crossing an obstacle course.) No matter what stands in the way. (A clip of Karts diving out of a plane and another of him hang gliding follows.) Karts Rowdy: You can get a quick fix for your adrenaline... (Karts working out in the gym, doing jump squats and a chest fly machine.) Karts: But the best rush is the one you have to earn. (People holding up Karts Rowdy signs in the crowd are interjected between clips of Karts celebrating with his SWA title belt, and with a winner's cup alongside motor sports fans.) Karts: It's not just about winning for myself, it's sharing that thrill with others that gives me the biggest adrenaline spike. I know I'm a jerkwad, but the people know I appreciate them, that I need them to make my wins matter. I'm real. That's why they cheer for me. That's why I win for them. That's what I thought Bertrand and Fleming got in the past. But obviously, they don't give a damn anymore, if they ever did. The way they laid out Steel Johnson, like he was a sack of trash, the way they act as if the whole country's up against them now, that rubs me the wrong way. And this Friday, I'm going to show Max Bertrand that the only day that matters is today, the only moment that matters is the one we live in! You live in the past, I live in the moment! And I know I'm going to enjoy every moment that I beat your ass down and I get to show the fans that their belt's still in good hands! --- Max Bertrand: Rowdy thinks the people love him. And at the moment, maybe he's right! Blan Fleming: You see, we know what that feels like, to be the heroes of the moment. We know what it's like to be on the same side as the people, to hear them explode like the 4th of July when we get the three count! But what you don't realize just yet, is that they don't give a damn about you, about principles, about anything more than belonging in the crowd and whatever makes them all feel good at the moment! They love that rush, when the guy they cheered for beats the guy they booed! But that changes from year to year, month to month, hell, even week to week! Nobody out there really stands for anything, they're just lemmings, whatever their social media tells them to believe, that's what they believe, whatever the movers and shakers tell them to say, that's what they say! Bertrand: Whatever the "community" wants, that's what they want! That's who they cheer, that's who they boo! And right now, the "community" cheers you, Rowdy! Fleming: They act as if they're following their conscience, that they're seeking out justice in our troubled times. But that's a load of crap. They're just being manipulated. Trust me, it took Max and I a long time to figure that out. It's not easy. But once you see it, it's clear as day. It's like Roddy Piper putting on the glasses. Bertrand: And all I see now is that I'm gonna steamroll you, Karl Gowdy! You're standing between me and that SWA title! You go around skydiving, going around your race tracks, but we got one thing, and that's in the ring! I'm a life long wrestler! I promise you, all the hard work, all the sacrifices, it's all going towards me beating you down even worse than we did old Steel and I'm gonna walk away as a champion! And when you wake up in the hospital, and all that adrenaline's gone for good, and the people forget who you ever were, just remember, we told you that's how it goes down! Fleming: Don't tell us we didn't warn you. You might not like what we have to say, but for your own good, you better listen. Just like Grateful Saeba better take heed. Saeba, you don't want to do this. You don't want to come back to the ring. You still have your health. You still have several brain cells firing off in that head of yours. Don't ruin it by coming back and getting wrecked against an All American Athlete. Back in your day, you may have been a big deal. That's because there wasn't anyone like me back then. Just stay on the sidelines, just keep running things backstage and watch your brother's kid do his thing. Times have changed, and they've passed people like you by. --- Grateful Saeba: So, Blanchard wants to tell me to stay out of the ring, eh? He's a smart enough guy...but he's gotten far too full of himself. So much so that he forgot that my old pal Steel Johnson took his belt not all that long ago. May have scrambled his brains in the process. But yeah, I figured while this old body can still do this, why not give it one more run. And really, I don't know if I would have taken the jump if it wasn't for how much Blanchard pissed me off. With what he's done and what he's said, I'm not going to take that without doing something about it. And if that means that he kicks my ass, so be it. Wouldn't be the first time it's happened. But I think I still have a few surprises up my sleeve... --- Ewan Jacobs: KILL RIP MAME TEAR! KILL RIP MAME TEAR! KILL RIP MAME TEAR! Everyone in the world knows who I am! I'm the Infamous Ewan Jacobs, I was the king of MMA! I ruled the GFC! Hell, I ruled the whole world! All the women wanted me, all the men wanted to be me! The GFC had it all as long as they had me! I set records, damn it! And then those fookin' bastards gave their biggest moneymaker the boot! All because some pansy wankers couldn't deal with how I do things! So, Jose Santos, you want your big pay day, your red panty night! You want to get a piece of the action, the fame, the glory! You want to know how real fighting can get? Now real fighting is coming to you! And I will knock your head clean off! KILL RIP MAME TEAR! --- Blood Angel: So, that sounds like a hellova stipulation. Hobo Harry: Yeah. Let's make this something real good. Let's help the people, Roy. Angel: You got that $15,000 from your big win. I win, and $10,000 gets spent out here on the West Coast for shelters and charity. You win, and it goes two thirds towards Philadelphia. I don't get it though, you're the only one putting up anything here. Harry: Uh yeah, Roy, you think that makes sense? Angel: No, I don't. So, you win, I put in another thousand on my end towards Philly. Harry: Don't be skimpin' on your folks if you win! Angel: Wouldn't think of doing so. I win, and that's another thousand towards the needy people in my community. Harry: That's the spirit! Angel: Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to drop you like a stack of dimes once we get started. Harry: Don't think I make it that easy...three other folks thought they could... Angel: Let's kick ass...for the common good. Harry: Let's do that!

Based on the history of SWA wrestlers who fight in UCW getting injured for one month in a SWA show. Sophia Rodrigues is probably getting hurt if not Bosch is going to again.

Holy hell, that is one hell of a card. Man, I got to remember to set an alarm, so that I won't miss it. Can't wait to see Ewan Jacobs and Grate Saeba in action, and who Masked Legends mystery opponent is. Okay, I actually can't wait to see any of these matches.

While technical issues marred the broadcast, SWA Premium Special still delivered a PPV value card for the Senatorial Streaming Service with some new names and big time matches. --- RESULTS SWA Premium Special 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, October 9th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Main Event: SWA Heavyweight Title Bout Karts Rowdy(C) with Steel Johnson and Bobby Bobby vs. Max Bertrand with Blan Fleming and July Eagle One of the major stories from this bout was the fact that July Eagle has joined the All American Athletes, at ringside alongside Blan Fleming to support Max Bertrand, while Steel Johnson and Bobby Bobby stood in the champ's corner. While Karts Rowdy was a minor betting favorite heading into this match, Max Bertrand was simply on a different level, fighting like a man possessed. At no point did Rowdy manage to do much more than hit desperate counters against the monstrous suplexer, and indeed, at the ten minute mark, Bertrand would hit a double German suplex combination that would leave Rowdy sprawled out on the mat, beaten, broken, and no longer the SWA Heavyweight champion as the medical staff rushed to the ring and the show went off the air. SWA Tag Title Bout The Vanishing(Blade Saeba and The Notorious)(C) vs. Thunder Devils(Dag Boomer and "Ringside Thunder" Laurence Holland) One of the best tag matches in SWA history, flat out, with the Thunder Devils pushing the Vanishing to their limit, setting a fast pace and a high standard for brutality early on, both Holland and Boomer hitting big moves on a frequent basis. For their part, the Vanishing weathered the storm, Notorious trading powerbombs with Dag Boomer and Blade Saeba would hit an impressive series of moves on Laurence Holland, a flapjack followed by a SSP followed by a Stormbreaker double arm twisting neckbreaker for the win. One has to wonder if any team can dethrone the champs at this point, and if the Canadian Dream Team will stand a chance in their future attempt. SWA Prestige Title Bout Jose Santos(C) vs. Sophia Rodrigues Jose Santos has delivered amazing matches in his title defenses, and this was no exception. Santos seemed to cruise through the first round, looking as smooth and confident in all aspects of the game as usual, but Rodrigues, his former Luta Livre trainee, was far from outclassed, landing a giant straight right at the bell. As the second round started, the Witch built off that moment, and started fighting her way into an even status with the champ, landing her punches at will and matching him on the mat, carrying the fight into the third and final ten minute stanza of the bout. It was here that Rodrigues demonstrated her determination and spirit, landing a signature rapid fire combination of punches that would drop Jose Santos for a three count, allowing the SWA Prestige title to change hands for the first time in a long while in a true MOTY contender. A Grateful Return Grateful Saeba vs. Blan Fleming Grateful Saeba had to shake off some serious ring rust after having spent the last decade in semi-retirement, and the last few years in an outright hiatus from the ring. Even so, his kicks still held power and his mat skills were still intact, but against the likes of Blanchard Fleming, more was required. Fleming almost sent Saeba into orbit with a throwing German that tossed the veteran over the ropes and nearly over the ringside barricade, in a moment that shocked the crowd. After this turning point, Fleming then hit a rolling German into the tossing German again, setting Saeba up for a highlight reel charging spear to finish the match. A properly dominant showing for the former champ, and one has to wonder if Grateful Saeba regrets stepping back between the ropes. Four Corners Chaos Jose Santos vs. Frog Buster vs. Ewan Jacobs vs. Victor Bosch vs. Damon Smith vs. Abbie Jones vs. July Eagle vs. Virgil de Boer Two surprise entrants were revealed prior to the bell, with Olympic Freestyle Gold Medal winner July Eagle making his SWA debut and UCSS's Muay Thai Machine, the Big Banter Brand's hitman, Virgil de Boer as the other surprise. The match itself went into overdrive after the ten minute mark, with Damon Smith eliminated by de Boer by means of face stomping TKO, de Boer finding himself obliterated soon after by a deadlift German suplex from Eagle, who then ended up choked out by Victor Bosch, who himself was TKOed by the Infamous Ewan Jacobs, who made the most of his own SWA debut. Abbie Jones was tapped out by Jose Santos, with Frog Buster pinned following an Ewan Jacobs sucker punch almost immediately afterwards. Finally, it came down to the wild boxing of Jacobs and the virtuoso submission skills of Santos, with the champ overcoming several close calls to lock in a heel hook for the win, securing the chance to face his old student Sophia Rodrigues later in the night. Legend Challenge Mask Legend vs. The Notorious EFM Mask Legend's challenge was answered by a certified legend, the former El Froggy Mask, aka, the Notorious EFM! While this was the first meeting between the two icons, the match seemed more akin to a battle between two old rivals, with the two matching each other move for move for over twenty minutes, until Mask Legend avoided an El Froggy Splash late on, instead catching his amphibious opponent with a spinning toe hold for the win. Canadian Dream Team(Canadian Grizzly(Santana Family Wrestling) and Allen Hawkins with Megan Chabot(Santana Family Wrestling)) vs. MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire with Mikazuki) Both the Dream Team and MATWORK came prepared for this one, all four members holding up their end of the match. Mr. Judgement seemed especially entranced by Mikazuki's interference during the match(with few blaming the judge for the fact), and while Ikki managed to use Canadian Grizzly's own Owen driver against him, the Grizz would be the one to secure the victory as he caught Thomas Lancashire in the dreaded Dungeon Sharpshooter. Barbed Wire Battle Nature Strange vs. "The Genocider" Sam Blocks This was Sam Blocks's match to lose...and that's exactly what happened. While the Genocider was in his element, bloodying Nature Strange early and controlling the match, the mental flexibilty of Strange would serve him well as he fought through the adversity, hitting an Unprettier style facebuster to net a most unlikely upset, and undoubtedly, to push Blocks over the edge. The Syndicate(Lucretia DeCavalcante, Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod(Wacker Drive Revival) and Mr. Cobra) vs. Red Dragon, Bobby Bobby, Keiichiro Asakawa and "Newface" John Smith A fairly even matchup between the Syndicate and the SWA main army, with the Goodfellas demonstrating their usual aptitude for teamwork, and Red Dragon looking like a world beater at points. While this was a solid appearance for the Strong Heart, Keiichiro Asakawa would drop the fall thanks to Lucretia DeCavalcante's unspeakably brutal double curb stomp combination, the Omerta. Battle of the Super Juniors Blood Angel vs. Hobo Harry(PEWA) While technical issues with the broadcast may have started setting in, Blood Angel and Hobo Harry still put on a top notch match, full of great exchanges and counters, with the Hobo securing the lion's share of his charity funding for his hometown community by catching Roy Bennett with a rollup counter. David Houston vs. Oliver Espadas with Leonardo Pascual A surprise debut for the Grenade Pro Wrestling product, David Houston, one of the most promising young upcomers in the indy scene, a joint protege of SWA stars Mask Legend and Blood Angel. Houston more than held his own against Renacimiento's Oliver Espadas, coming close to victory, but losing focus at a crucial moment, which allowed Espadas to hit a frog splash for the win. --- Match of the Night: Jose Santos vs. Sophia Rodrigues/The Vanishing vs. Thunder Devils -Sharing this award might not be fair to the SWA Prestige rules fight, which was outright one of the best of the year and a landmark moment for Rodrigues in defeating the nearly unbeatable champion. But the SWA Tag Title match was almost equally impressive, with both teams putting on one of the most dynamic, hard hitting tag matches in ages, and cannot be left out of the award consideration. Performer of the Night: Max Bertrand -While Sophia Rodrigues and Jose Santos both could make a case for this one, Max Bertrand's dominating demoliton job of Karts Rowdy for the SWA Heavyweight title makes him the only clear choice here. --- Injury Report Virgil de Boer: Pinched Nerve in Neck (One Month Recovery Time) -A suplex from July Eagle put the Muay Thai Machine down for the count, and while he suffered a stinger as a result, a month's suspension should be enough to get him back in the game. Karts Rowdy: Broken Collarbone and Shoulder Fracture (Four Month Recovery Time) -Karts Rowdy apparently had serious wear and tear heading into his title defense, which Max Bertrand mercilessly took advantage of, a double German suplex finishing him off. Rowdy suffered multiple fractures as a result and will be out for the rest of the year at minimum. --- Following the show, the All American Athletes were seen celebrating out in the backstage catering area, with Bertrand and Fleming carrying champagne bottles and the SWA Heavyweight title around Bertrand's midsection, while July Eagle carried a bottle of Gatorade. Max Bertrand: That's right, we showed them all! Eagle, you're a badass! You busted up that outsider! Blanchard destroyed that old man! And look at me, I'm the champ! Blan Fleming: It's a great night to be an American! Or at least, an All American! What a time! We're on top! The SWA can't do anything about us now! And no matter how much all those fickle people hate it, they have to deal with us now! July Eagle: Keep telling you guys, all that stuff about the fans, forget about it! You don't want them, they don't want you! Just focus on the fight! And you both fought like real beasts tonight! Fleming: Training with you raised our game up to a new level, Max tore Karl Gowdy to shreds, I would have beaten Saeba no matter what, but I had more pop on my suplexes, that's what a legit Olympic champ in your camp does for you! Bertrand: That's why I ran through him like a wet paper towel! Now, go get that Prestige belt so we can get more gold! Eagle: I accept that challenge! Bertrand: We're unbeatable! Literally unbeatable now! Nobody's gonna... ???: That belt...don't get used to it. Fleming: Red Dragon, you might want to move along. This isn't the time or the place. Red Dragon: No, I think it is. It's a free country, this is the catering room for everyone, not just the All American Athletes. And that belt... Bertrand: You want a shot at this? Then earn it! Dragon: I'll beat any one of you that I have to beat to get that SWA Heavyweight title. Fleming: Then beat me. Dragon: Sounds like a good idea. And with that, Yusuf Aydin picked up a sandwich off the catering table and turned around, leaving the Athletes silent for a moment, but before he lef the room, the Dragon pointed at his future opponents. Dragon: You may think nobody has a chance after you destroyed people like Karts, Steel, Virgil de Boer...but if you think you can erase the best Turkish American wrestler of this generation...you will only be deluding yourselves. I will beat you, Fleming, and when I do, nothing will stop me from paying true tribute to my community by grasping that title and holding it high! You will not find me as easy to defeat as you did Grateful! But for now, you may celebrate, and I will eat this sandwich... Bertrand: That damn bastard! Who does he think he is? You don't do that to a new champ! Fleming: We'll sort him out. I'll sort him out real well when I put an end to his arrogant challenge. We'll see how that goes... --- Jose Santos: (Translated from Portuguese) <I am very, very proud of you. There is nobody else who I would ever lose that belt to. All of my training, I could feel it in the ring, every move on the mat, but the punches, those were your own.> Sophia Rodrigues: <I promise you, Jose, you will have your rematch, you deserve a match without having already fought seven people before!> Santos: <No, this is your title, your reign! You are the Prestige champion! And I will not accept a rematch! Fight new opponents! Earn new victories! You already proved you can beat me.> Rodrigues: <I hear that the Olympic Medal Man, July Eagle wants a shot.> Santos: <Tough challenge, are you ready?> Rodrigues: <Maybe! Maybe not! But why hold back and hide? It's better to take things on and lose than to duck and turn away the tough ones!> Santos: <And once again, Sophia, that is why I am so proud of you!> --- Blood Angel: And I promise that'll be given to people and groups that can make good use out of it. Just like I know you'll make every dollar count in Philadelphia. Hobo Harry: Nah, no worries, Roy, I know you got this. Angel: That said, I wasn't happy with how that ended. Sure, you won, fair and square, but I'm thinking we need to do this again. Harry: Ain't no problem with that. Any time, any place. Angel: Ok, next week, then. You got your show going, let's do this. Harry: Yeah, let's roll it back next week. Angel: But let's spice it up, doing the same match over and over gets boring, at least to me. And since I've never done the PEWA thing, and its your big Horror of Hardcore show, we can't just have a regular match...let's put this in that cage of yours, what do you call it? Harry: Insanitarium, yeah, I dig that. Angel: That works for me. Blood Angel vs. Hobo Harry II: Insanitarium. This time, though, maybe it's time I pull out a win. Harry: Heh, you can try, can't you? Angel: Try, I will.

The Horror of Hardcore returns to the Senatorial Office and the PEWA once again! With Highway Outlaw Wrestling now on board, Horror of Hardcore 2020 promises chills, thrills and many blood spills with a big double main event and a list of featured guests worthy of a true monster mash. PEWA x Highway Outlaw Wrestling: Horror of Hardcore 20208:00 PM (CT) on Friday, October 16th at the Public Square in Washington, DC Main Event: PEWA Extreme Title bout Kevin Royce(Phoenix Rising)(C) vs. Sylvain "Pay Day" MintAn unlikely late career revival for Pay Day Mint has earned him a chance to take on the dominant PEWA Extreme champion. A participant in the first ever PEWA match, Mint's first career was marred with a distinct lack of motivation, but since his return to the ring, a greater maturity and a veteran confidence has allowed Mint to rack up a series of wins. Kevin Royce, for his part, has been a proud champion, appreciated by fans and the locker room alike for having defeated Young Blood for the belt, and for his no-nonsense, blood and guts approach in the ring, promising to defend the title on every show and following through. While Royce is a heavy favorite, with his chair swinging ways and crushing power cited as major factors, Mint does have a path to victory if he can turn this into more of a technical battle. Ruler of the Road Bout Texas Rose(C) vs. Big Clay Hurst(Wrestle Parade)Big Clay Hurst has had a roller coaster of a path to the Ruler of the Road title, having lost his first Highway Outlaw showing against the Equalizer but then winning a match of the year contender against Annie Chang. Hurst will be the latest to take on the seemingly unbeatable Texas Rose. Hurst's size and power even the odds fairly well against Rose's hard bitten toughness and dangerous flash pin techniques. Vampire Wars Jakob of Furis(OG-FPD) with Victor Van Banning vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi KarnsteinBack in the Office once again, OG-FPD's legendary vampiric warrior, Jakob of Furis will seek to settle his feud with the PEWA's resident master of the occult, Sir Vladimir Henry. Of interest, Victor Van Banning will hesitantly accompany Furis at ringside, having vanquished the dreaded Demon Priest in Port City Pro and also having teamed with Furis against his eternal rival at the previous Horror of Hardcore event. Sir Vlad arrives at this match having recently lost a shocker of a contendership bout against the Bath Salts Zombie and will undoubtedly be looking to use this match as a return to form. Of course, one should expect gallons of blood to be spilled in this one. Carnaval de Lucha Extrema Payaso Terrible(Blackrose) vs. Beatriz vs. Nightmare Clown(Lucha POWER) vs. Florida ManAs wild of a four way bout as one might find, with Blackrose's face painted mistress of mayhem, Payaso Terrible, the Ritual of the Flame's Burnt Beauty, Beatriz, Lucha POWER's wildly unpredictable Nightmare Clown and the enigma that is Florida Man all thrown into the mix. This may well be as strange of a match as you'll ever see. Powers vs. Zanca II: Hellfire Explosion Match Luke Powers vs. ZancaWith Luke Powers having made his return at the prior PEWA broadcast, the longest reigning PEWA champion in company history had trained hard and looked for a solid tune up match against a massive underdog in Zanca. The match did not proceed according to expectation. Instead, the erratic stuntman managed to overcome all the odds and defeated Powers in what is almost certainly the biggest upset that the Senatorial Office has ever witnessed. Now, the two will meet once again, this time within the confines of a Hellfire Explosion match, with a reported fifteen minute time limit set on the explosion. The future of Powers's main event status will be in the balance, a win here could catapult him to a challenge against the winner of the main event. A loss could well force Powers to make some tough decisions going forward...and could perhaps boost Zanca to heights he has never experienced before. Night of the Broken Light Tubes Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. X-KIRAThe PEWA's resident light tube smasher, Tomas has not been happy with the organization's addition of X-KIRA for some time, irritated at the Japanese deathmatch star's fellow affinity for busting the fluorescent fixtures. Now, the two will finally face off, in what should be a weapon filled fracas to say the least. Hobo vs. Angel II: Insanitarium Hobo Harry vs. Blood Angel(SWA)A challenge set at the conclusion of the previous SWA show, with Hobo Harry carrying on with the best run of his career, and accepting Blood Angel's request for a rematch. Now the two will face off within the dreaded confines of the Insanitarium cage, a stipulation the two agreed upon mainly to make things interesting. While there is no bad blood between the two friendly rivals, the Insanitarium has a tendency to force tension and violence. Monochrome(Opaque and Yamikuro) vs. Da Outsider and SkuraiThe Hardcore Ninja, Skurai has reportedly joined the Highway Outlaw roster, joining up with two fellow veterans in the RCDM and Da Outsider to form the Old School faction. Skurai and Outsider will take on one of the PEWA's most overlooked teams in Yamikuro and Opaque, with Monochrome seeing this match as a chance to begin a path towards the PEWA Extreme Tag titles. The Equalizer vs. Running Diamond Cutter ManA fixture in the early days of the PEWA, not as an active competitor, but first as a member of the ring crew, Jose Marin earned his ring name as the Running Diamond Cutter Man by occasionally making a cameo during a match or a promo, hitting(or trying to hit) a running Diamond Cutter on a wrestler, and jumping back out into the crowd. In subsequent years, the RCDM became a noted name in backyard wrestling videos, and over time, became a respected indy wrestler. Now, the RCDM will take on Highway Outlaw Wrestling's gatekeeper, the Equalizer in a debut match, hoping to prove himself well enough for a rocket shot at the Ruler of the Road.

Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint: I get it, I've heard it, I'm not supposed to win this one. Kevin Royce is an absolute machine, no doubt about it, I'm not going to lie, there. He beat everyone they put in front of him and made it look easy. Kevin's a badass who doesn't need to go all out all the time, he can mess around and inflict pain and let the other person get their shots in before he shuts things down. Happened to Juliette, happened to Bath Salts, happened to Young Blood, hell, happened to Thiago Gracie. By all accounts, I shouldn't stand a chance, based off his record and his capabilities. But then again, who thought I'd even be back here in the ring? When I came back for PEWA 20, I told them I wasn't just doing a one-off. I wanted to jump back into this with both feet. I just wanted the paycheck the first time around. I figured I was taking too much of a beating for too little of a return so I called it a day and got a job at a bank.
Mint: But then, I found out something about the nine to five life, and about myself. I found that I actually missed the ring. I found that maybe the reason things didn't work out perfectly the first time was because I didn't put everything into it. Now, at my age, it took some time to let that sink in entirely. For years, all I really did in wrestling is train other people and work a few matches here and there to stay in shape. While I'm proud of how Mohammad Ramses turned out, I wanted to see if some of the things I learned could be put into action, and when Biff made the call, I figured that was the moment I took the plunge. I went full time back into wrestling. And you can see the results since then. I've beaten people that I shouldn't have defeated. I earned this chance. And I'll be damned before I throw it away. Kevin Royce might be the toughest guy I've faced since my return, maybe ever. I might be one match away from having to hang it up for good this time. But if that's the case, so be it, I'll go out in a blaze of glory, and nobody can say I was only in it for the pay day this time around!
---
Texas Rose: Been winnin' so much that I'm almost gettin' tired of it. Not anyone's fault, there just ain't all that many of us Highway Outlaws. You gotta be rough and tough to live this life. But this time, I ain't scared about bein' stuck on cruise control. Big Clay's gonna make me work, shift my gears, kick in the nitro. And that's what I've been waitin' for, for some time now. Bring it on, big guy, let's ride!
---
Victor Van Banning: As much as I hesitate to join myself once again to the tainted bloodline of darkness that Jakob of Furis represents, I shall do so to perpetuate my never ending mission. For, while Sir Vladimir Henry has had his plans thwarted as of late, he has not been vanquished for good. And as I, myself have been unable to accomplish such a vital task on my own, it shall fall upon Furis to do so, however much it may offend my sensibilities to speak those words. Perhaps I am merely aiding the rise of a more potent threat to our souls, but I know very much that I cannot stand by as Sir Henry once again attempts to cast his malignant spell across our lives.
---
Sir Vladimir Henry: So, that tiresome, self-righteous pest has again summoned Furis to our abode.
Heidi Karnstein: I recall that did not go so well for them, the last time.
Vlad: Indeed it did not. Jakob of Furis, you may wish to tear open my arteries and bathe in the richness of my plasma. But your crude animal instincts will not serve you well against one such as myself. For as you follow the pulse of the heart, I immerse myself in the darkness of the void. The blood is your life, your raison d'etre, for me, it is yet another tool to be manipulated. Do not mistake yourself, as ancient as you believe yourself to be, the depths of my knowledge carry back further, and deeper than you can imagine. And when I shatter your bones and drain your blood, it will be clear to one and all that this is exclusively my domain.
---
Luke Powers: Damn, that was a bitch and a half the last time around. I tried to out-Zanca Zanca. And I paid the price. Threw myself out of the ring and fell flat on my face. And I failed the Iron Plate Gym that helped get me back into the ring, and I failed the people I trained with to take a step forward. But here's the thing with me. When I botch things up, I own up. When I let some poor life choices drag me down in the past, I faced them head on and turned things around. When I've lost before, I've looked at why I lost and I did what I could to fix the mistakes and get better. That's why nobody's held that PEWA Extreme title more times or longer than I have. So, this time around, I got Zanca in the Hellfire Explosion match. Barbed wire ropes, explosives set to fifteen minutes. My goal here, is to preserve my health and Masked Maniac's and beat Zanca before that time's up. You all haven't seen my Powers Bomb 2020 yet. I think it's time I fix that problem, too.
---
Zanca: Luke Powers thinks he's better than me, just because he looks like the cover of a fitness magazine and got all the opportunities in the past. But I showed him! He's just living on past glory! I'm the most dangerous man in the PEWA, shit, the most dangerous man in the history of the PEWA! I almost broke this place before! They set me on fire! They threw me off balconies! They beat me like a heavy bag! But they couldn't keep me down! I hear Powers wants to end this match before things go boom! Screw that! I want to last fifteen minutes in! I want to experience the heat and the shockwave, the concussion and the smoke! I'm a trained stuntman, you think I'm scared of that? This is my element! And when I see pansy ass Powers knocked out on the mat and they raise my arm, Biff Taylor, you better believe I want that next shot at Kevin Royce and that title! We all know Mint's old ass doesn't stand a chance. It's time you all recognized me for what I am, Biff, get me my shot!
---
Tomas the Tiny Giant: tomas usually does not mind when people break the tubes of light. the tiny giant is usually more upset for people who do not break the tubes of light. but i am very angry at the killer with x who thinks that he is the best breaker of tubes because TOMAS AND ONLY TOMAS IS THE TRUE KING OF BREAKING THE TUBES! so this is a match that i am happy to have and i will show the killer with x that THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL WIN THIS MATCH AND BREAK THE MOST TUBES WILL BE TOMAS!
---
Running Diamond Cutter Man: Sheeeet, it's been how long since I've been in a PEWA ring? Last time I was, I was still on the crew setting it up. Now, I'm a Highway Outlaw, I'm a real legit pro, and I'm going to show the Equalizer and all of you just what it means to feel...the...bang!
Skurai: And now the Hardcore Ninja is an Outlaw, too. You never know when the Ambush strikes, but you will know afterwards.
Da Outsider: Da Outsider, Da Ninja and Da Diamond Cutter Man all figured out it's time we show Highway Outlaw Wrestling just how we kick it, Old School style.
Skurai: They may say we're all past it...but we can still get the job done.
Da Outsider: I ain't ready to call it quits. But if I hit Da Big One, maybe someone else will.
RDCM: I don't know about you guys, but I'm just getting started!

*Jakob of Furis leans against a wall in a grimy alley*
[Furis:] "Ancient is another word for obsolete. I'm not like the role models you venerate. Vlad Tepes and Anne of Bathory represent the past. They couch their violence in reason and nobility just as you do. I'm cut from a different bloody cloth. You value knowledge and tradition which is why you fell to Bath Salts Zombie who is utterly incapable of fearing or respecting either. I am evolution and instinct which is why my motives are uncorrupted and my lust for blood is pure. You claim darkness in the void while I preach domination in violence. That is why you can never be free of me. I have marked you with the blood of consumption. Previous victories of yours are fleeting and have done nothing to wash that stain away. My appetite can't be satiated. And it's not candy that will be dripping from my mouth this Halloween."

Biff Taylor: Look out there, dudes and dudettes, we've made the Horror of Hardcore a yearly annual regular thing now for the PEWA, and Highway Outlaw Wrestlin's along for the ride! Yeah, there's a badass double main event waitin' for you tonight, with our dominant champ, Kevin Royce putting his PEWA Extreme title up against a true PEWA Original, Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint, a dude who found his renaissance and wants to make the best of it! Then you got Texas Rose defendin' her Ruler of the Road title again, this time, against the bad, mad Big Clay Hurst! Don't ever say the Biffmeister doesn't serve you up the good stuff! And that's just the tip of the blood red iceberg, 'cause we got a damn icon, Jakob of Furis back in our ring, up against our own Sir Vlad Henry in a Vampire War! Wouldn't be the Horror of Hardcore without an Insanitarium, an' we got Hobo Harry rematchin' Blood Angel inside its walls! We got some crazy stuff to throw at you in a Carnival de Lucha Extrema! Luke Powers looks to unleash fury on that little bastard, Zanca, who wants him to taste the Hellfire Explosion! Tomas an' X-KIRA gonna smash some lights, too! We got that and much, much more...just don't tune in if you got a weak heart, 'cause I don't want to be responsible for what happens if you do! Tune in at 8:00 PM, Central Time, on the Senatorial Streamin' Service! Be there, or be square! Unless, again, you don't like chaos an' carnage...then you stay square as a cube... www.twitch.tv/senatorphillipsBiff: Alright, with the hype outta the way, I got something less fun to address here. You all see the five hundred pound gorilla that I left off the card, once again. Yeah, that's right, Young Blood ain't booked. An' as far as I'm concerned, he's not booked again, any time. Because I'm announcin' here that Young Blood is done, finished, finito. That's right, I've finished it up, by the end of this month, his contract's done with the PEWA, an' I ain't reuppin' on that. Is it tough to let the top ranked dude in the Office go? Nah. Young Blood no showed me, he made a joke out of not defending the Extreme title, and the Number One. He's an asshole, plain an' simple, the locker room hates his guts, he pissed people off elsewhere, he's got all the talent in the world, but he's such a piece of trash that it just ain't worth it to make the best of that! So yeah, Young Blood's done, and I'm glad to say those words. We got a roster full of folks who want to wrestle here, who got somethin' to prove, who don't act like they don't want the fans, who eat BBQ after the show! Kevin Royce ain't even one of ours, but he's accepted here like family! Kantar, Clay Hurst, Scarlett Rose, same! We of the PEWA and the Highway Outlaws want people here who want to be here! That ain't Young Blood, so he's gone, and that's all I have to say on that!

An overall strong showing for the second annual Horror of Hardcore, with a match that will go down as an all time great, and some major proceedings have taken place following the show. RESULTS PEWA x Highway Outlaw Wrestling: Horror of Hardcore 2020 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, October 16th at the Public Square in Washington, DC Bonus Match: Crew Carnage The Cruisers(Biff Taylor, Cruiser Jacobs, Cruiser Conrad and Cruiser Khan) vs. Young Blood, Colossus Rhodes, New Humanity and Stanford Bradley Following the main event, Biff Taylor arrived at ringside to make a an announcement. Biff Taylor: Yeah, that was what your friendly neighborhood Biffmeister calls a show! Now, let me just... Before the PEWA President could finish his sentence, to the boos of the audience, the unmistakable form of Stanford Bradley could be seen, with Young Blood in tow. Stanford Bradley: Hold it! Hold it right there! This ain't right! You can't keep this man, the Number One outta here! He's still under a friggin' contract! Now, if you aren't giving him a match...Young Blood says he's going to head down there and beat you down...in less...family friendly language... Biff Taylor: Come on now, you think ol' Biff wasn't prepared? Cruisers Khan, Jacobs and Conrad all stepped out over the barricade, and with Biff, the four hit the ring. Stanford: You know, the funny thing with plans...is something about mice and men! Wait, no, that's not what I meant to say...what I meant to say is that you aren't the only ones with plans! We got a little army of our own now too! Say hello to my not so little friends! And with those words, the hulking monstrosity known as Colossus Rhodes and the unparalleled athletic marvel Esteban Vargas, otherwise known as the New Humanity joined Stanford and Young Blood. Biff: Aw, guess we got to settle this, Crew Carnage style...this ain't lookin' good, though... And with that, an impromptu Crew Carnage fight started. For the uninitiated, a Crew Carnage match is a tornado elimination match, usually done with a full four on four. And this one was an outright bar brawl from the start, Biff Taylor somehow countering a Humanity move by reversing into an Izuna Drop in mid air! Cruiser Khan even managed to stab Young Blood with a spike before bowing out at the twenty minute mark. Cruiser Conrad would soon follow after a Deadly Go Around from New Humanity. From here, Stanford reinforced his reputation as the most annoying human on earth, relentlessly telling his opponents, the crowd and even his teammates to "eat shit" over the microphone, but something remarkable would also happen here, with Cruiser Jacobs hitting a Roadhouse Massacre on Colossus Rhodes, knocking the giant out. Humanity would finish Biff with a SSP in response, leaving Jacobs as the last man standing for the Cruisers, and Stanford talking endless trash as Humanity would hit a second Deadly Go Around acrobatic powerbomb on Jacobs to end the match. Main Event: PEWA Extreme Title bout Kevin Royce(Phoenix Rising)(C) vs. Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint Sylvain Mint looked confident and skillful as the match started, but while his excellent technique was apparent, Kevin Royce would stomp a cut open on his face, turning the match around in seconds, landing a seven minute chokebomb to successfully defend his title in a shockingly abrupt finish. One has to wonder now if anything can stop Royce at this point, and what the future bodes for Mint. Highway Outlaw Wrestling Ruler of the Road Title Bout Texas Rose(C) vs. Big Clay Hurst(Wrestle Parade) Neither Fat Burner nor the Hounds of Abbadon were at ringside for this masterpiece of a match, both Rose and Hurst preferring to leave any nonsense out of the proceedings. And that was exactly what they did, with Big Clay opening a bad cut on Rose's face early on with some heavy mounted punches, and the Ruler of the Road nearly rolling him up with her signature Thorn of the Rose in return. From there, Rose would fight back against the much larger Hurst, using kicks and technique to take an edge, only for Big Clay to respond with a few well placed power attacks and chair shots, the match spilling outside multiple times, leading to a diving rana off the post for Rose at one point. As the match went down the stretch, it seemed that neither competitor could be stopped by anything, both surviving an impressive array of attacks and combinations. Just before the twenty five minute mark, though, a big boot and a running elbow drop would finally dethrone Texas Rose for the first time since the Highway Outlaws joined the Office, giving Big Clay Hurst the biggest win and the best match of his career in a performance that would result in a standing ovation from the attendees at the Public Square! This was an undoubtable match of the year contender. Vampire Wars Jakob of Furis(OG-FPD) with Victor Van Banning vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi Karnstein A much more measured, tactical fight than many would have expected, neither Furis nor Henry fully committing to their most potent attacks or giving into the desire to go for blood for the greater part of this one. Surprisingly, Heidi Karnstein would even interfere at one point to break up a Sir Henry pin following his Omen of Death lifting thumb spike, shouting for him not just to win but to "destroy the beast!" However, when they did turn up the savagery, they did so with aplomb, Henry biting Furis's face open, Furis retaliating with multiple leaping neckbreaker drops and stabbing Sir Henry open, but a horrendous neck snap would be the deciding factor in favor of the Head of the House of Hammer, Sir Vladimir Henry walking away the winner. Carnaval de Lucha Extrema Payaso Terrible(Blackrose) vs. Beatriz vs. Nightmare Clown(Lucha POWER) vs. Florida Man Most expected a cluster mess here. They got what they were looking for. This was every bit as wacky and violent as anyone would have wanted, with Nightmare Clown running the gamut as the match went along, eliminating Payaso with a liplock, Beatriz with a running flip DDT combo and Florida Man with a classic Romero Surfboard. An amazing finshing run for the Lucha POWER mainstay, but a result that doesn't quite speak to the evenly matched action that preceeded it. Powers vs. Zanca II: Hellfire Explosion Match Luke Powers vs. Zanca This was retribution. No, not the chainsaw wielding, mask wearing WWE stable, but an enormously satisfying match for the longtime PEWA ace. Luke Powers took the fight to Zanca this time around, no wasted effort, no awkward mishaps. He would hit both his modern Powers Bomb 2020 and the Powers Bomb '05, and after taking an honestly impressive late match attempt at a comeback from the stuntman, Powers would plant him into the mat with one more high crotch lift Powers Bomb 2020 to leave his foe knocked out just before the twelve minute mark, well before the explosion could trigger. Night of the Broken Light Tubes Tomas the Tiny Giant vs. X-KIRA This was less of a match and more of a full on street fight, with neither Tomas nor Kira much interested in pinfalls or submissions for the better part of this one. Lights were broken and blood was spilled, but Tomas's typically awful stamina would be the determining factor as X-KIRA would survive multiple power moves that he failed to capitalize upon and would lock in a X-Face crossface hold for the win. Hobo vs. Angel II: Insanitarium Hobo Harry vs. Blood Angel(SWA) The second battle between these two excellent Junior Heavyweights was more even than the first, with Blood Angel landing some heavy offence this time. It was not enough, though, with Hobo Harry holding on to hit the Hobosault, and then a moonsault press to a standing Angel that led into a standing moonsault press for the win. A good fast paced encounter for the two. Monochrome(Opaque and Yamikuro) vs. Da Outsider and Skurai A newly unmasked Opaque impressed alongside her teammate Yamikuro as they went toe to toe with a pair of PEWA Originals in Da Outsider and Skurai, who wore his Storm Shadow attire for the occasion. The two teams showed no quit, the veterans managing their fatigue brilliantly, while Monochrome avoided the bulk of their opponent's offence for much of the duration. It was only later on when the Originals started digging into the bulk of their attacks, Skurai hitting a Ninja Ambush cutter on Yamikuro to put her down for the count with a minute to go...but Opaque was the legal wrestler at the time, and survived an Ambush directed at herself to last the full 45 minute time limit. The Equalizer vs. Running Diamond Cutter Man The Equalizer gave a rough welcome to the RDCM early in this match, physically shoving him through the ropes and controlling him on the mat. Things would shift dramatically as the match went along, with the Running Diamond Cutter Man hitting his signature move, and landing it a few more times would lead to a debut pinfall over one of the toughest members of the Highway Outlaw roster. --- Match of the Night: Texas Rose vs. Big Clay Hurst -This was outright the best match in Highway Outlaw history and the best of either competitor's career. Texas Rose and Big Clay Hurst put on a show for the ages, their contrasting styles working together perfectly, their respective displays of heart off the charts. This was what it's all about. Performer of the Night: Luke Powers -A massively impressive return to form for Powers, who put any doubts to rest following his previous loss to Zanca. Calling his shot and following through, Powers well earned this one. --- Injury Report Yamikuro: No Injury (No Medical Suspension) -Despite being "knocked out" by Skurai's Ninja Ambush cutter, Yamikuro walked away after the end of her match, showing no signs of injury and will not face any suspension. Zanca: Wind Knocked Out (No Medical Suspension) -A high crotch lift single arm bomb, the Powers Bomb 2020 knocked Zanca out of his match with Luke Powers, but as it goes, it inflicted no lasting injury, aside from a nasty bruise on the back. Colossus Rhodes: Moderate Concussion and Bruised Tailbone (Three Month Medical Suspension) -Following a Roadhouse Massacre death valley bomb from Cruiser Jacobs, Colossus Rhodes was eliminated by injury from the Crew Carnage match following the main event. As it turns out, the giant took some heavy trauma from the veteran's finisher, and will be missing the rest of the year at minimum as a result. Some have also suggested that Esteban Vargas's celebration of repeated leaps after the match did not help, as he landed on Rhodes multiple times. --- After the main event, Stanford Bradley did not put the microphone down. Stanford Bradley: Eat Shit! Number One! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Eat shit! Number One! Alright, alright! We showed them! Hey, Biff, tell me how my ass tastes! We just beat you old fogeys down like Marshawn Lynch running through the hall of a nursing home! My client here, Mr. Young Blood himself told me he wasn't leaving the PEWA without leaving a message! And that message is that you suck, Biff! You and those ancient Cruisers! Now, I have one more thing to say here before I'm done, and that's that I need to introduce someone very important here to the Public Square, someone who you all don't deserve to listen to, but he's blessing you with his presence anyway! Everyone, bow down to your golden emperor, Morgan Midas Matthews! With Persephone and Irkalla leading the way, Morgan "Midas" Matthews stepped out onto the entryway. Perspehone handed the tycoon a microphone. Morgan "Midas" Matthews: It is not customarily my habit to attend a PEWA event. Certainly, you could not catch me dead at a Highway Outlaw bar venue. But I make the exception here to make an announcement. Beginning with my Golden Touch Promotions program at the end of this Office cycle, Young Blood will be the recipient of an exclusive Golden Touch contract. Yes, I will also announce that on his debut as a full fledged member of my roster, Young Blood will be defending his Senatorial Office Number One against Pan African Wrestling's Jean-Pierre Mutombo. I believe that is the type of premium matchup that you all want to see. Certainly better than what Young Blood got here in his former promotion. Biff Taylor: Hey, Midas, my man, just one question here, out here in the open! Nah, I got two for you! The first one, were you the one tellin' Young Blood to stop wrestlin' on my show? Midas: Oh, he did that on his own. I merely gave him a better option. Biff: I'd say that's a load of bull, but Young Blood's enough of an ass that I'll take you at your word! Still, I don't like you playin' games with my people like that! Midas: They're not your people, it's an open marketplace and when I see an opening for someone of his caliber, I will not hesitate. Biff: Speaking of openings my second question...Jacobs just opened up a can of whup-ass on your giant! How's that feel? Midas: Colossus will have much to answer for...but I think Young Blood will be more than an adequate replacement for the short term... --- Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint: That was not what I wanted. But I'm not giving up. I could accept that main event pay day and call it a day. Could just go back to the undercard and be fine with that. But I will not. Might take a bit more time, but I want to work my way back to another shot. I was doing pretty well until Royce stomped my face open, but that's what happens when you face someone that much bigger and stronger. The me of twenty years ago would have thrown in the towel, believed that there'd be no way to overcome that. But that's not the me of today, and I'm going to try again. --- Texas Rose: Big Clay, you earned that, fair an' square. That...was the best match I've ever been a part of, an' that was a rush! If I gotta lose my title, best that I lose it like that! Now, I'm not asking for a rematch. I carried this company and this title long enough! I'm happy taking a break from the Ruler! And I want you to know that I hope you hold onto that thing until I'm done with my break! Because we ain't gonna let that be the only time we do this! --- Sir Vladmir Henry: How utterly droll. He put forth quite the effort. But it was not enough. Heidi Karnstein: I am not very happy with you, Vlad, you did not try hard enough to inflict cruel punishment, to bring forth an unforgettable memory of injury and pain, you did not... Vladimir: Enough! Against one such as Furis, the more refined approach was the superior route to follow. If I merely did to him what he would do to me, it would set no example. And yet, I forced him to fight my own match. If I succeeded as I had intended, it would have been the utmost humiliation...but you could not let that stand. You became as he is, lusting after blood when power is always the true goal. Heidi: Are you not the Vlad that I love, the Vlad that casts the crimson shade over the ring? Vladimir: Bloodshed is a tool, a means to an end, a useful method of spreading terror into the hearts of all. Focus too deeply into it, and you become as Furis, a crude barbaric animal unable to discern the greater threads that bind the fabic of the universe. And that is why he shall always fail. Learn from this lesson, or you shall share his fate just as all the lesser ones will. ???: Bravo, bravo, Sir Henry. You struck well tonight. But if you want power, I have a proposition... Heidi: Who dares? Vladimir: Cremator. Do you truly believe I have any wish to deal with your pathetic fire ritual? The Cremator: All will burn in the end! But we can decide who burns first! I offer you my fealty, and that of my Ritual. You speak of your superiority and how you are stronger than the barbarian, but my Bath Salts Zombie overcome you! I offer you his services, those of Beatriz, of Zanca, and of my own, should you accept. Vladimir: I have little to gain and much to lose by diluting my own potency with your Ritual. You have nothing that I do not already have... Heidi: But you can have acolytes, disciples, servants, lackeys! Any true leader has followers! They need not stand with you, they can simply do your bidding! Vladimir: There may be some value in such a thing. Very well then, I accept. Cremator: Nobody will quench our flame! Vladimir: You will do as I say. And you will be inducted into the House of Hammer. Cremator: We will! Vladimir: And the true conquest of this organization will begin. Cremator: Yes! Vladimir: Now depart from my sight. --- Luke Powers: I told you all what I was going to do, and that's just what I did. My ears aren't ringing, my bones aren't vibrating, and I put Zanca down for the count. Maybe I set myself back before, but I'm back, now. And now it's time I get back to what I aimed to do from the moment I stepped back into this ring. Biff Taylor, I know you hear me here, you got a belt that needs a challenger every show! I think I just proved that I'm ready to do that again! No offence to Sylvain, but Royce ain't gonna do to me what he did to him! So, Biff, I'd say I'm not just your best choice, but I'm your only... ???: Nah. Powers: Harry, my man, solid win out there, again! But I'm busy...aw damn. Hobo Harry: Yeah, damn. I don't care much 'bout belts. But I been riding this train real good lately. So I've been thinkin' I want to try to ride it all the way up! Powers: You talking about Royce, ain't you? Harry: Yeah. Why not, gotta get it while I can. Powers: You know, I'm not standing in your way for that. You want it, you got it. Biff! Give this man the shot he deserves! Harry: Thanks, 'ppreciate it, Ace Man. Powers: Any time, Harry, I got time to get myself ready for that shot. Just promise me this, you win that match, I'm the first one up to bat, cool? Harry: Plenty. Powers: Now you go Hobosault the hell outta Royce! He's a damn good champ, don't get me wrong, but I want to see you grab that ring, show 'em that the old school still rules, you got that? Harry: Gotta try, you stop tryin', you start dyin', that's my motto. --- Tomas the Tiny Giant: SHOW ME WHERE THE KILLER OF X IS! tomas is very angry at tomas but also at the extreme wrestling of the brotherly love city because tiny giants should not lose to tinier men in the ring with the tubes of light AND TOMAS WANTS TO GET THE REVENGE OF TOMAS TONIGHT! X-KIRA: Tomas! X-KIRA, bandaged up, and a light tube in hand, meets his nemesis in the hallway. Tomas: if you stand there for more seconds, that will be less seconds WHERE TOMAS DOES NOT BREAK YOU! X-KIRA: We had...problem. No more...problem. Tomas: THE TINY GIANT HAS A PROBLEM and that problem is that i do not like that you are now the breaker of the tubes of light and tomas now does not have a place in the wrestling because the thing of tomas is to be the breaker of the tubes of light and if tomas is not the one who is the breaker then there is nothing for tomas to do or to be AND I DO NOT LIKE TO QUESTION WHAT TOMAS IS OR WHY TOMAS IS! X-KIRA: Tomas...X-KIRA...both breakers. No more fight...me...against you. We...both break...together. KIRA holds out the light tube, Tomas grabbing it by the other end. As soon as KIRA lets go of his end, Tomas shatters it...onto his own head. Tomas: THIS IS SOMETHING I NOW LIKE! KIRA: We are now...team...win belts...no worry for...breathe for you in team. Tomas: we are both breakers now WE ARE BOTH BREAKERS NOW! BREAKERS WILL GET REVENGE ON ALL! KIRA: Breakers Revenge! --- Opaque: My name is Guadalupe Maldonaldo, I was born in 1992 in Reynosa, Mexico, I started training in Lucha Libre in 2008, and started my career in 2010. I have wrestled across Mexico and in Santana Family Wrestling and here in the PEWA. I continue to wrestle across Mexico, and in a match five days ago, I lost my mask in a Lucha de Apuestas to Tiradora Divertida on an independent show. I have not been happy with the progress of my career, and I hope that I can now become what I wanted to be in wrestling. I will continue my team of Monochrome and I believe Yamikuro and I will be champions some day as I can now face the world without the mask. --- Running Diamond Cutter Man: Equalizer felt the bang! Now, Big Clay Hurst, you can get ready to feel the bang too! You never know where it's coming from, but you'll know when it hits!

Kevin Royce "Hell of a lot to think about after that one. Look, I am never gonna give this title anything less than the respect it deserves... and that means, every single time I step into a PEWA ring to defend it, I'm going to put everything I've got into it. Sometimes... that means challengers are gonna get overwhelmed. Sometimes, it's gonna feel a bit... anti-climactic. Only thing you can do is step back, figure out what went wrong, and swear you're gonna come back bigger, better, stronger. I know I didn't see a fraction of what Mint's capable of doin' out there. So maybe we'll get another shot to get a real one goin' sometime.
Now, see, I've been thinking about that match, sure. I've also given a lot of thought to what happened after the fact. Hell, I almost considered extending an invitation to one particular loudmouth... least until he decided he didn't want to shut the fuck up, and nobody was left standing to shut his mouth for him. Anyway, probably for the best. I'm not really in charge of Evergreen these days, but I got some sway... and I probably would've nudged Stanford Bradley into a match that may or may not have involved a giant that isn't willing to put up with his shit.
Doesn't really matter which one. We got plenty.
But I look at this squad rolling down to the ring... three of the biggest, the baddest, the most dangerous around... hard to deny any of that. But see, I already beat Young Blood... I just saw Colossus Rhodes get wiped the hell out... and what I've seen of the New Humanity? All style, no substance. An athlete, an acrobat, a man capable of doing the impossible... except win consistently, y'know. Reminds me a little of that other Vargas I've been seeing a bit of, 'cept she's at least stringing wins together...
Not really the point though.
You wanna come around and stomp around PEWA, that's your business, that's their business... if I'm called on to beat someone's ass, I'll do it. But I'm gonna be blunt as a sledgehammer with you, 'Midas'. I know that even if you don't got a problem with me shit-talking your crew, they probably do. So lemme level with you.
If your little band of psychos and shitheads ever wants to throw down... well, it's gotta be around your parts by default, doesn't it? Because I'm gonna remind you: Young Blood's never setting foot in an Evergreen ring again. And y'know what, neither is Stanford Bradley, at least until he learns to keep his fuckin' mouth shut for once in his life.
Suppose I could keep the offer open, though. Imagine it: Stanford Bradley, icon of Golden Touch Promotions... takin' on Tasharun. Argent. Binak Tonorian. Shit, even Elly would be a hoot.
Course, then he really wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut... screamin' as she rips his goddamn arm off.
Ah well. I've said most of what I wanna say, anyway. Long-winded, a bit. Figure I've earned the damn right after all this time... so lemme finish things out properly.
I hear Hobo Harry's wanting the next crack at this belt. You got it. No doubt Biff's already linin' things up for it. You're a different breed from the rest of the bunch comin' my way... Juliette had the crazy and the violent down pat, Bath Salts Zombie... well, shit, he mostly just had the crazy. And Mint, he had the class and the technique, even if he didn't really get to show it. You, though... you got a different style. And after seein' what you've been up to the past couple of months? I'm lookin' forward to this one. Show me what you got, Hobo... I'm waiting to see who's got what it takes. And you just might be the one."

Furis just can't stake this guy but at least he got to paint the town red for Halloween! 😄
Love how you wrote that Heidi line to hide the interference issue. That was very clever! 💡

The new El Froggy Mask debuts on a show with the Interim Dominican Golden Championship and the TIPWF Lone Star titles on the line...also, Roland Chang Jr. is back...so board up the windows. --- Santana Family Wrestling x TIPWF: Advent of the Amphibian8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, October 23rd at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington, DC Main Event: Interim Dominican Golden Championship Bout Dungeon Dominguez(Lucha POWER)(C) vs. Felix Santana IIIFelix Santana III demanded a shot at the title, which his father has reluctantly granted. Following his knockout victory over the debuting Jumperman on the previous Santana broadcast, Felix III showed a renewed confidence, regained momentum and has sold a large amount of "Felix 3:16" t-shirts in the process. However, his foe, the juggernaut known as Dungeon Dominguez has looked nearly unstoppable since arriving from Lucha POWER, destroying the former El Froggy Mask for the Interim belt and with the malevolent duo of Paco Pequeno and El Experto operating as his brain trust, Dominguez could well hold on long enough to face Salvador Sosa when he eventually returns for a title unification match. TIPWF Lone Star Trios Championship Bout High Plains Drifters(Marcos Angulo, Walt Callahan and Johnny Sixname)(C) vs. Cogburn Ranch(Cowboy Johnston, Duke Cogburn and Generalissimo Kool Q)Defeating the Blue Collar Brawlers to earn this chance, the Cogburn Ranch will roll out Cowboy Johnston with the stable's two elder statesmen to challenge for the Trios titles. The High Plains Drifters have been on a roll since becoming champions, with Marcos Angulo leaving the UCSS to become a full time roster member, and the three operating as a well coordinated unit time and time again, earning back to back Number One Team rankings in the Office as a result. This match is reportedly as close as it comes in the betting market. El Froggy Mask II Debut El Froggy Mask vs. Felice SantanaAn exceptionally important match for Santana Family Wrestling, as the new El Froggy Mask makes his debut, taking on the high flying Felice Santana. To say that company hopes are riding high on Froggy would be to understate the matter, as his predecessor, the current Notorious EFM now operates as an Office freelancer, having served as a top merchandise mover and fan favorite for over a decade previously. El Froggy II will be expected to fill his boots immediately, and reportedly may be fast tracked into a title shot if he can prove himself in the role. Prove It Match Valentina Verda vs. Roland Chang IIIWhile the Modern Day Wrangler's recent record has been up and down, he has still shown a great deal of progress as of late, and demonstrated flashes of being a potential main event mainstay. Evidently, the current champion, Valentina Verda has taken note, and has offered Chang a chance to earn a title shot in a match that will be held under a fifteen minute time limit. Should Chang win or last the duration, he will be issued a future opportunity for Verda's TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight title. This might be a tougher task to accomplish than it seems, with Verda's exceptional skill, though. The Return of Roland Roland Chang Jr. vs. Martina MartinezAfter spending three months suspended for an out of control brawl against the Outlaw Sam Hall that involved assault and battery on World Wrestling Daily Digest's Kevin Anderson and significant property damage across the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center, Roland Chang Jr. is finally back in action, and will waste no time in returning to his endless feud with, well, everyone, but especially the Exotico World Order. Of note, his foe from the EWO, the Mixed Martial Exotico, Martina Martinez, was shelved previously by Chang's son, Roland III. Expect chaos here, no matter what happens in the ring. Lil' Lariato vs. Canadian GrizzlyA cross promotional dream match of a sort, with the Houston throwback rapper with the deadly arm going up against the man who trained with a man who trained in the Hart Dungeon. Canadian Grizzly's kept busy, making regular SWA showings as a part of the Canadian Dream Team and remaining a core member of Santana Family Wrestling's Rudo Army, and having picked up important wins in both settings as of late. Lil' Lariato has struggled to maintain solid momentum in his singles career since losing the TIPWF Lone Star title, but has functioned well with his fellow Cogburn Ranch members in trios matches. Both are major fan favorites, wherever they go, with Lariato's compact power and undervalued agility and Grizzly's refined Canadian mat style, this could certainly steal the show. Felix Santana Sr. vs. Poison Froggy MaskThe bitter, angry amphibian of Rudo EX will get a chance to take his frustrations out on the big boss himself, as Felix Santana Sr. meets him between the ropes. Felix Senior has been nothing short of exceptional over the last year, racking up important wins, in taking El Macho's legendary mask, in winning gold in Tiger Stripe Pro and competing at a high level, not just for his age, but outright. Poison Froggy, in his usual manner, may allow his temper to get the best of him, but doing so may not serve him well in this matchup, with Felix Senior's ability to capitalize. The Mallard(MWWC) vs. MoonmanThe Mallard makes another showing in the Office after defeating his rival, Misterio Guerrero previously. This time, Mallard will take on another popular masked foe in the lunar obsessed Moonman. Mallard will enter into this one as a slight favorite, but Moonman is a live underdog here, particuarly if he can hit his Moon Valley Driver combination into the Lunar Lander moonsault stomp at an opportune time. Calista Vargas(Phoenix Rising) vs. La AxolotlTwo young standouts will meet in this one, with Phoenix Rising's Brazilian prospect, Calista Vargas going up against the Thiago Gracie BJJ hybrid trained Luchadora, La Axolotl in what should serve as a quality opening contest. --- Felix Santana III: For years, they've called me the bad boy of the Santana family. I don't stick with the traditional style. I've walked with the Rudo Army. I've challenged my father and my grandfather. I do things my way. And that's what Jumperman found out last show, when I suplexed him on top of his future Froggy head. These days, I'm good with my family running the deal, but when it comes to the ring, I'm ready to step up and take over. That's why I called out Dungeon Dominguez. Salvador Sosa: But you can't face a man like that without some amigos to watch your back. I may not be ready to wrestle again for...too long, but I want to be there in your corner. Felix Santana Junior: And I'll not miss this one for anything. Felix III: Damn it, this is my promo, what the hell are you two doing here? Felix Junior: Letting Paco and Experto know that the odds are even now. Sosa: And as a former member of my Army who was, how does it go...discharged with honor, I figure you're worth helping here. Besides, when I do come back, I'd rather unify my belt against someone I respect. You and your father, I respect you both. Dungeon, he's a beast, but he's a beast doing the dirty work of some people I don't respect. And that makes a difference. Felix Junior: We all know Dungeon's the big favorite here, but we also know that he's one suplex away from losing that Interim title. Felix III: Damn right he is, because when he ends up knocked out at the end of the night, and he wakes up and he asks what happened, all they're gonna tell him is that Felix III:16 Says You Just Got Dumped On Your Head. Sosa: Man, you know, much as I love the Felix III:16 thing...the rest of that's just a little much. Felix Junior: He's sold shirts with it! Sosa: No arguing that, let's get things done, then. --- Cowboy Johnston: Why hello there, Commissioner Callahan, Marcos, we're gonna have ourselves one hellova match on this Friday, ain't we? Walt Callahan: I like you, Johnston, you and your whole group. But if you think that means that keeps me from stomping you into a fine red paste when the belts are on the line... Cowboy: You can try, but if yew think ah'm gonna let yew pull that off, you don't know what yer dealin' with! Callahan: Let me cut to the point. I'm not here to shoot the shit. I'm here to tell you that if we beat you and your team, my Drifters and I have a set of targets that we're aiming at. Cowboy: Ain't sure what you're sayin' here. Marcos Angulo: Those cabrons, Outlaws! Cowboy: Now that, ah get! Ah got unfinished business with them, too! Let's shake on this, whoever wins this here match, we go after them Outlaws, an' whoever's comin' up short is gonna show their full on support! Callahan: Acceptable terms. --- Roland Chang Junior: I'm back in business, and all those bastards who thought they could silence Roland Chang Jr. for good can go screw themselves! And that starts with those wackjob interloper EWO pieces of bullshit! Roland Chang Senior: Hate to correct you, son, but I don't think the Exotico World Order had anything to do with you and Sam Hall tearing up the Beltway and putting your hands on that interviewer. Roland Chang III: Seriously. Stop getting us in fights we don't need. Chang Junior: Oh, the two of you think you're so sensible and well balanced, do you? But this is pro wrestling! It takes a real edge to get successful here! Where's your big wins, kid? I see you losing and losing over there in that Phoenix fed, and it's embarrassing! And where's your big wins, dad? Maybe playing nice just means you end up jobbing out! Roland Senior: I'm seventy years old, you ninny! Chang III: You know what, dad, I'm not taking this, not this time. I'm out there taking on the best they have to offer, twice a week. You try doing that without taking some losses! And this Friday, I'm setting up to prove myself for the Lone Star. Does that sound like jobbing like a nice guy? Does that? Come on, tell me! Chang Junior: Aw, you're bringing a tear to these eyes, I never thought I'd see the day when the quiet giant spoke up for himself for once! You still can't cut a promo worth dog crap, though! And that's just one of the reasons that I don't think you got what it takes to beat Verda! Roland Senior: Well, I for one do not agree with that. Especially considering that he only needs to last fifteen minutes in the ring to earn himself a proper title match. Something I might remind you, that you have not earned in quite some time, son. Chang Junior: You know what, the reason I don't get my shot is that the big shots hate me! They fear me! They don't want someone as dangerous as me representing their nice corporate sponsored promotion! And I'm going to show that Martina bitch that mixed martial exoticos don't succeed in pro wrestling! I'm gonna slap on a Wrangler Lock, and hold on that so hard and so long that they'll need the jaws of life to get me off! That's the sort of grit you need, Roland, that's how you show them all that you mean business! And until you have that mentality, you're going to come up short of your true potential! Can't just look to win, you have to lust for conquest! And you think you just want to survive? That's not how I taught you! That's not the example I set! That's some European soccer ball sort of shit! That's anti-American! I see you let that match go fifteen without a winner and a loser, I'm kicking your ass myself, damn it! Chang III: Try me. Roland Senior: Kid...please do me a favor and do try to avoid lowering yourself to my son's level. Chang III: Don't worry, granndad, I'm not planning on that. Dad, you think I'm not going to try to win? You're even crazier than I thought you were if that's what you're saying. I don't have a problem with Valentina. I just want that belt. And the fastest way to that belt...is to win. To make a statement on Friday, and follow through when it really counts. Maybe I'm not winning every match I take right now. But watch me, I'm going to be winning a lot more often here. It's like lifting. You can't succeed every time you try to go above your max. But you keep pushing, and what seemed so tough before, becomes easy. I'm not where I need to be. But I'm getting there. --- Felix Santana Senior: This Friday, my granndaughter Felice will have a very important match. Because on Friday, her opponent will be the newest member of our Santana Family Wrestling roster, the new El Froggy Mask. For years, the original Froggy was our family's best ally, an example to the fans and an icon of Lucha Libre. I wish the best to the man now known as the Notorious EFM, but now, let El Froggy Mask show you all what he can do. Felice Santana: He can lose his first match to me, because I'm not going to roll over and play dead to make him look good and while I really hope we have a great match I don't think that if I do my very best here that not only am I going to win, but I am going to win in a way that makes you wonder why you didn't give me the Froggy Mask, but I couldn't and wouldn't wear the Froggy Mask because green isn't my color and honestly I'm too pretty to go around wearing a mask, I mean, I'm not a supermodel, but I want to be my own person in the ring, and I don't think I'm ugly, so that... Felix Senior: Um. Felice: Oh, sorry, I did that again, didn't I, I mean, I didn't mean to start rambling again, I thought I got past that, but I guess...sorry...again! Felix Senior: This Friday, El Froggy Mask will be reborn, Felice will have something to prove, and I will say that this is a match that none of you can miss. ???: (Translated from Spanish) <You can both shut your stupid mouth, this match means nothing!> Felix Senior: Poison Froggy Mask. Poison Froggy Mask: <It means nothing! Just another fake frog you're bringing in here! Last I saw, that Jumperman got hurt by your son's kid! Think he's ready for this? Because I don't. Just like I don't think you're ready for what I'm going to unleash against you! I've waited too long to get this match, to let you know, face to face, exactly what I think of how you run this place! I'm going to throw in a stomp for every mistake you make! I'm going to stretch you out for every injustice! I'm going to Dart Drop you on your head and you're going to regret everything> Felix Senior: <Now you look here! You always had an issue with everything around here! Why then, did you stick around all these years? You say your problem was with Froggy, but I think your problem was with yourself! You turned on the Home Team, you turned on the Rudo Army, what happens when you get fed up with Rudo EX? You going to run to Midas? Because I don't think he takes a loser like you in! You want to know why you don't get your opportunities? It's because you haven't earned them, that's why!> Poison Froggy Mask: <I promise you this, once I'm done with you, El Froggy Jumperman will be next! I will destroy your big hopping hope and I will ruin your plans!> Felix Senior: Anyway, Friday, Felice-Froggy, don't miss it, it's a new era of Santana Family Wrestling, and a moment you must experience.

But today, we're giving you this portion of October broadcast and transcript, covering the Senatorial Office for free! We know that once you see a taste of what you're missing, you'll have no choice but to join the ranks of the Premium Insiders! Kevin "The Internet" Anderson: It's always a good time when we get the gang together here...but this might be a bit painful here at the start. We all know why. "Fast" Eddie Edison: You certainly do. "Digital" Dave Doolittle: Get it over with, Eddie. Eddie: Absolutely. Just as soon as you all pay your tribute to your resident Nostradamous, your prophet of the tournament! Maxwell McNally: I must say that I was impressed that you almost predicted the CCW Cup to perfection. Eddie: See, Maxie gets it. I'm psychic. I see things before they happen. And I see Digital Dave forking over every cent he owes me, and retweeting my tweet where I said I'm the greatest expert mind in WWDD. Digital Dave: If it makes you shut up, I'll do just that. PEWA, Highway Outlaw Wrestling Anderson: And let's move on now, the PEWA had a big event this last week. First question, is Kevin Royce unstoppable?
Maxwell: He's exceptionally tough and his sheer power is underrated. Royce might not have the muscles of a Flex Steele or a Donnie Doogan, but he's powerful enough to end a match with a single move, and has proven that fact, time and time again. I do not think he is unstoppable but I think that he could potentially defeat every single person the PEWA throws at him for a long time.
Eddie: He's going to wipe the mat with Hobo Harry, let's be honest here. I'm not underselling Harry, hell, you all know I picked him to win the CCW Cup...right?
Digital Dave: Yes, yes, we know.
Eddie: But seriously, Harry can kick ass against fellow junior heavies, but against someone on Royce's level, he's got no chance. And Luke Powers lost to Zanca. So he's going to lose, too.
Digital Dave: I disagree. Powers lost a comeback match where he was far from his best. He ran through him in the rematch. That version of Powers that we saw last Friday does stand a chance if he can improve on that performance.
Anderson: Another development from Friday was a measure of roster movement, with the Ritual of the Flame joining Sir Vladimir Henry's House of Hammer, Tomas and X-KIRA forming the Breaker's Revenge tag team and Skurai jumping to the Highway Outlaws. Does anyone think any of this will have any long term ramifications?
Digital Dave: Not really. I've never been a fan of bloated stables.
Maxwell: I could see the House of Hammer presenting issues to Biff Taylor and anyone wanting to hold onto belts in the PEWA for some time, but it's never quite been Sir Henry's way to engage in overt antics.
Santana Family Wrestling, TIPWF Anderson: So, this week, we have Santana Family Wrestling and the TIPWF. While it's not a main event match, the clear headline match here is the debut of the new El Froggy Mask. Can he be the new hope for SFW?
Digital Dave: Seeing that he's the former Jumperman, I question if he's even going to be 100% for this match, having been injured by Felix Santana III last time. Jumperman's shown some impressive athletic ability, but I still see him primarily as an indy style high flier rather than the all around star that Notorious EFM is.
Eddie: Let's give him a chance, guys, I'm not saying the New Froggy's going to become the instant star that the Santanas are hoping for, but it's also unreasonable to think he can't be something special in his own right.
Digital Dave: My problem is that it's going to take a solid decade for him to really catch up to where they want him to be.
Eddie: Dave, if it takes him that long, then you might as well throw in the towel now. Which I get, that's what you're doing, but I'm just not ready to join you in Haterville, population one. Here's what I think, by the end of next year, we'll know if he's taken the, um, leap, or not.
Anderson: Dungeon Dominguez currently holds the Interim title, does he hold on long enough to face a returning Salvador Sosa to unify with the lineal Dominican Golden Championship?
Eddie: He does, I think.
Maxwell: I would not count out the likes of any Felix Santana, or Canadian Grizzly, for that matter. Dominguez is the proper favorite in any of those matchups, but with Sosa's return projected for sometime near the end of the year or the start of next, I figure there's at least a 50% chance that someone gets the job done before then. Grizzly has been good enough as of late that I think he could well hold that Interim belt at some point prior to Sosa's full recovery.
Anderson: With Roland Chang Jr. back, things are going to pick up for sure in the TIPWF. What do you all see happening?
Maxwell: I see Chang III making a serious run at the title and perhaps working out some, ahem, issues with his father. I see the High Plains Drifters successfully defending against the Cogburns and going on to challenge the Jackson Hole Outlaws. And I also see the EWO continue to operate at a high level.
Digital Dave: First off, I don't think Roland III is ready for gold. He's shown clear signs of improvement, but there's still something missing there. He's not putting on hundos, he's not beating superior opponents, he's just making a little better use of his size and physicality. Valentina Verda has put on one of the best matches of the entire year in defeating Cowboy Johnston and will remain in the Office Top Five for some time to come. I also think people should keep an eye on Lil' Lariato and on Misterio Guerrero, both of which can put on high percentage matches and win big time matchups.
Eddie: We have to talk about Texas? Fine, I predict Cowboy Johnston shows the world that he's still good enough to be the best, and when he tries again, he's winning that Lone Star back. Kerry Texan still kicks everyone's ass there.
Miscellaneous Items Anderson: A few various items from the other promotions. First, we've heard that L-Pro's Koji Sawada has fully graduated from the Dojo, finally, and has a grudge against the remaining students there, especially their new upcoming super rookie, Takayuki Ueda. Dave, I think you know more than me here.
Digital Dave: As you know, I'm in regular communication with my Japanese sources, and that's entirely correct. Sawada's spent years as the token young lion and he thinks that he has the responsibility to serve as a gatekeeper to make sure nobody gets fast tracked past him. Ueda, on the other hand, might be the single most talented youngster that L-Pro has ever seen. I think you'll enjoy seeing what he can do on the main roster as the Dojo representative for some time to come.
Anderson: Some recent rumors surrounding Midas Matthews suggest that he may be looking to once again put himself in charge of the Senatorial Office. An election within the Office Board of Directors could accomplish this feat, but many doubt that he can come close to the plurality required to depose Anthony Kalb as the Chairman.
Eddie: I hear rumors like this about every week, not even a real story.
Maxwell: I would not underestimate Mr. Matthews's ambition or ability. I have observed his machinations for some time, and I would be more surprised if a report stated he was not trying to do such a thing. We know he wants to undercut the Affiliates. We know he wants to rebrand everything under his Golden Touch banner. There is no way he has ever gotten over that last second play that Senator Phillips managed to reverse his victory.
Eddie: Maxie, I'm not going to defend Midas...he's an ass, but he's also pragmatic. The man can put on shows every month without having to worry about maintaining a roster or dealing with oversight. He's got it made. I mean, look at the babes he associates with! This is not some bitter angry failure, this is someone who's getting what he wants on a regular basis. He got the Office to pair their shows, which is what he wanted for years. He gets title matches and dream matches on his own personal brand. I'm telling you, Midas doesn't need to do anything drastic to take over. He's already doing it, one step at a time.
Digital Dave: That almost would make sense if I didn't hear the rumors about Pan African Wrestling.
Anderson: Do tell us.
Digital Dave: What I've heard is that someone, probably Midas, has seen the budget shortfalls for the fed, without it being able to tour across Africa this year, and will be looking to split the roster members into the rest of the Office feds, suspending the belts or allowing them to be defended on Golden Touch shows, and moving UCSS to run back to back shows with the SWA, thus, giving the Office a tighter schedule. What I do know is that Anthony Kalb is not supportive of this idea, and will veto it unless he's replaced.
Anderson: And that would be where Midas's plan would fit in. Well, with that, we're done discussing the Office for today, next, we're going to cover Phoenix Rising and the Grand Ascension, and then the Warrior Pro family of feds after that, following this brief intermission.
