Yeah, both Harpo and DP 07 were choices I had coming up very soon 😁 Harpo was originally my #3 pick a month ago but then I shuffled him around. "Choose him or lose him" 😥 Very glad that everyone is enjoying the draft!! 👏 How many more rounds do you guys want to stay in this, by the way? I have more picks so I anticipate staying in for maybe 4-5 more rounds. But if people are done earlier than I am, I may just turn this into a "Free for all" where people grab whatever edit that they want - even if it means people sharing them at the end. Also, I'm in contact with both TigerStripePro and DesertPunk in preparation for the next draft which will probably be "full edit" as the default. I want to give this draft time to complete and everyone to work on their newly drafted edits for a few months. So unless someone wants to run it sooner, I figure I'd start it in October. I probably won't have the time to run the draft on a day to day basis like I did for most of this draft, but I will probably be able to at least get it started with the initial organization. Then either someone else runs it in a new thread (and I'll let them make the first post in it so that they can easily update the list) or everyone just keeps the list and alerts going after they draft someone. Long overdue bios for my last picks. MonsteresuShingo Kawakami was once a promising young lion for the now infamous JWA. He'd run into several health problems and face depression thanks to his mismanagment. Eventually AJCW and NJCW would form from a large JWA exodus and the JWA would cease to be. However.....a Masked Mad Man would begin working local shows; his legend soon spread. Nameing himself Killer-wakami, he adapted to a more brutal style. From forks to the eye and fireballs to the face, this monster of a man soon took on the very inception of hardcore wrestling. Now after years of being too violent for TV, Japan has overturned a longtime censorship law; and was quickly signed to a freelance deal with COMBAT Sport Wrestling. Bare Knuckle BruiserBuff Biff Hammerfist is a Boston native who has worked the professional and underground boxing circuit. He even traveled to the UK and Ireland to compete in the Celtic Fist Tournament, but lost in the finals via DQ. Now, looking for a steady check he's entered the Tri-State indy scene, ready to work anything from deathmatches to shoot style. |

Veneno moved up and down my draft order a lot because I kept having different ideas for him. I immediately saw him having a veteran presence but at first I wanted him to be part of a larger faction. Since some of those other edits were already taken, I had to change my plans so his position slipped. Also, one more thing. I've been talking to TigerStripePro through PM about the next draft. He PM'd me a few weeks ago offering up 25 edits for the next draft, many with full logic. Today he asked me if he could jump into this draft. I wanted to ask if anyone drops out of the current draft, I can step in and take their place. I don't see any issue with that. What I can do is allow you to choose from the remaining edits but not have your choices be exclusive to you. So if you choose an edit, they wouldn't be made unavailable for anyone else. That would be a good compromise since you are joining mid draft. Is everyone remaining in the draft cool with that plan? TSP can jump into the draft (maybe in the middle of the order before me). He could take any edit that hasn't been drafted but not exclusively. So anyone else who wants his picks can still grab them during their window. If everyone is cool with it, I'll add him in the spot above me for Round 7. |
