The sell job in the new Triangle Lancer is so great. I wish they animated more submission moves that way.

I always thought parts and move craft were going to be the very last releases as Matsumoto said the very end of his involvement with the game would be handing it over to the fans with these tools.

I don't care if your grandma did it dude. A wheelbarrow victory roll reverse triple salcow double stomp isn't a proper ground double stomp like when the guys in the indies do it. That wimpy one you're talking about looks like someone rubbing their feet on a welcome mat, so let's not act like they're the same thing.

Just got the pack; looking through it now. Impressions:
The new leg and arm parts here are gonna be super useful. Some of them definitely unlike any we've had before. The parts in general should offer some nice variety. The heads seem to sit a bit differently though, so they might not mix and match well with other head parts (which, granted, is always a danger anyway).
Bea Priestly didn't get me the curb stomp, but she did get me an English-accented female voiceover! ...and delivers almost all her taunts in Japanese. Goddammit, Bea Priestly.
On to the new moves: This Cazadora footstomp is tight. If you're still having trouble envisioning it, it's the standing-strike victory roll rolled through into a double footstomp. I wish we also got this animation as a ground move, because it's killer.
I actually like the diving footstomp to a standing opponent better in-game than I liked the gif of it. It would look better if you could ensure they were doubled over, but it's passable.
I strongly dislike the push and probably won't use it; there's no force in the attacker's body, especially for how far they bump off of it. It almost looks like a Force Push except you're touching them. The body language also doesn't suit the big dudes you'd wanna give this to.
The new triangle lancer is hilariously awesome. It also seems to cycle REALLY fast, which would mean it does a lot of damage. They might also be making one "crank" look like two, but if it does damage as fast as it looks like it does, it'll be a strong finisher for sure.
The Kishi Kaisei is VERY subtly different from El Es Culero - it doesn't maintain the leg grapevine that move does and ends more like a standard crucifix.
Too bad they didn't do a German for one of these girls - you can do the other bridging suplexes with the crazy Japanese-woman forehead bridge, but not the standard German.
I'm super happy to have the running shooting star. This is the position I always wanted it in - it looks a little odd from standing, like they should have been running anyway, plus it can be hard to weave into people's movesets when it's only "face up at head." It looks the same, but I'll be converting people to this version almost exclusively, I expect.
Head smash combo is great! Wish we had a facedown one too, but it'll definitely make a nice heel alternative to choking or punching. Comboing the throw down into this is gonna look awesome.
Mount leg hook can, in fact, be done from the head (as well as the feet), and this is awesome.
Azumi Sushi and Iidabashi start with the first few frames of the La Magistral, so they could be used as "surprise" variations of each other if you wanted.
Speaking of which, the Stealth Viper starts with the existing STF before getting a wicked additional hook and twist. For bonus points, I've been previewing these moves with an OC who uses the STF as her finish, and I think she just found her hot-death variant of it.
Rope Front Kick will work for SO many people - you march them right over into a 619 position and then running boot the shit out of the side of their head. This will work for those guys who need a running face wash, too. This looks really great.
Rope Knee Attack is basically this with a jumping knee - it doesn't have the switch-pump motion of the V-Trigger, but it'll fill out Omega's moveset well enough, and it'll work for so many other people besides. I might even consider using this to sub for that Diesel/Austin/Jericho body attack thing. It's another one that's gonna look good on a lot of people.
The new Bronco Buster (I was slightly wrong about the naming they would use; they renamed the other one to "original" and made this one just "Bronco Buster") looks great. The setup is showboaty but in a generic way - just some walking cocky and pointing upwards. The move itself is more "grindy" than "bouncy" like most people do it, but - well, you've all seen the video of the actual move, I assume. This will probably still become your "standard" Bronco Buster.
The only new taunt is the Death Yama-San one we've seen.
All in all, some super useful stuff in there. A few moves didn't make it that I'd have really liked to see, but the moves we did get, as well as the new parts, are gonna see some use for sure. I feel like we got a few more moves that work for the general population than last time, so I can't be too mad about it.

Yeah the one on the page lol. Not sure if it's a bash against Fire Pro or more towards his total hatred for Stardom. Pricing I understand, but complaining about the promotion choice is silly considering their connection to NJPW and Fire Pro in general. A wheelbarrow victory roll reverse triple salcow double stomp *tweets suneed*

Boy there are some blazingly hot takes on the Steam Store page. Ironically enough, the one guy calling STARDOM the worst joshi promotion and then listing all those reasons are the exact same things that describe the other promotions he lists, lol.
