Hi everyone.
I've been wanting to own a Fire Pro game for years, and I've finally got one in Wrestling World. I was waiting for the Fire Promoter DLC to drop before buying.
I have a question regarding downloading wrestlers.
I feel as though I read some advice stating that you should try and download all your wrestlers from the same person due to potential miss-matches if you download from several different creators.
Is this correct? As in one creator might have Stone Cold as their top guy with an overall of 92. Yet, you download Edge from someone who's top guy is 99 and Edge might be a 94. Is there more to it than just that? Is it just that the creators style of one wrestler may not work well with another creator's wrestlers?
I would love to search and download loads of different wrestlers without worrying about if they are from the same person or not, but would that be OK to do or is it not advisable?
Thanks for any help on this.

When you download from one creator, or a small set of creators, it's easier to get edits that work well together in terms of logic/parameter spread. Downloading from a large pool of creators can result in edits that don't work well together.

Yeah, that's what I thought I had read.
Thanks for clearing it up. I appreciate it.
I wish I could just go deep into any creator, but I guess it makes sense that way.
So, with that in mind, does anyone have a list of a few creators that have loads of areas covered.
I'd love to download as many various rosters as possible from different time periods. Golden era WWF, Attitude era WWF, TNA 2005/6 time, WCW early 90s, WCW Monday Night Wars, current NJPW & AEW etc. I'd really love to find some old obscure wrestlers like Damien Damento & Max Moon etc.
Lastly, if I download a few variations of the same wrestler (Say '88 Sting, crow Sting etc) can I make only one of them active when I use Fire Promoter? Like if I have 6 different Triple H's is there a way to only have the one?
Also, can you choose which companies to include in the game?
Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to find out before I get started.

For the fire promoter part when you add promotions to fire promoter you decide from those promotions who will start with the promotion (yours will be maxed at 6 to start), who will be a free agent, and who won't be used. (Extra tip managers don't work in fire promoter so I'd mark them as not being used)

That way I can have semi real in the fact that there's only one Chris Jericho for instance (whichever promotion I decide to have him in) but also semi fantasy in ranging from the '80s through to present day with some dream matches being possible. Thanks.

Hi everyone. I've been wanting to own a Fire Pro game for years, and I've finally got one in Wrestling World. I was waiting for the Fire Promoter DLC to drop before buying. Hi! Welcome to the world of Fire Pro and the C!C community!! 😁 I have a question regarding downloading wrestlers. This is a very good question and there isn't an easy answer. Really, it comes down to the question of reliability vs. variety. For most edit makers, their edits are created to play well with each other. However, there are MANY edit makers on the C!C that use similar theories of making edits. And so you will find edits from different edit makers play really well together in some cases and really not well together in others. Heck, some of my own edits don't always play that well with each other cause I didn't really intend them on facing each other and the styles don't mesh that well. If you are dealing with real life wrestlers (like BAH GAWD STONE COLD) then you will likely want to download a bunch of wrestlers from one or two edit makers. But if you are dealing with fantasy/fictional wrestlers, you may find that it's more fun to mix and match edits from different edit creators that share some views of edit making and strategies. For example, my edits have tended to work really well with Zealot's and Wonderland's edits over the past 10 years. If you check around the board, there are many "edit making strategy" guides as well as discussions. People who tend to share similar views will produce edits that are more likely to work well together. Variety is the spice of life but not all spices work together within the same dish.

Just trying to find out before I get started. Assuming you're on PC, TheAvenger3 is your best bet for real life edits in general. Edits from different promotions and eras, all tested and usually kept up-to-date (which is insane when you look at the total number in his collection), plus they all work well for playing and simulation. If you want more MMA or shoot fighting edits, Senator Phillips is a good choice. Also CarlCX, who has a number of Pride edits; each with it's own biography if you're interested in learning about the background of specific fighters.

Fantastic response. I really appreciate all that. I'd be going for real wrestlers, so I may need to do some homework on creators. I've been lurking on here since before the game was released. It's nice to be a little involved, even if it is just me asking loads of questions. Thanks for all the help guys.

Thank you. Fantastic response. I really appreciate all that. You are very welcome! I'm glad that I was able to help 👍 I'd be going for real wrestlers, so I may need to do some homework on creators. Yeah, I am not as familiar with real wrestlers in FP since I tend to focus almost entirely on fantasy/e-fed wrestlers. Also, I am on Steam and don't have experience with the PS4 workshop. (I have the game on PS4 but don't play on it or create edits for it). But I am sure someone will come around and point you in the direction of some PS4 edit creators (or primarily Steam edit creators who also post their best edits on PS4). I've been lurking on here since before the game was released. It's nice to be a little involved, even if it is just me asking loads of questions. For my first 3 months in the community, all I did was ask questions! 😁

I found a really good creator in 'optimus3475'. I downloaded a shedload from him. Particularly golden era WWF and similar timeframe WCW.
The thing is, with the whole going with one creator; if you want an insane amount of wrestlers you're going to have to overlap. I still want so many others and that's after downloading 102 guys from optimus.
I'll see how it goes, but I will try and limit the amount of creators I download from.

Also I just got the message 'Unable to download recently subscribed items. You may have reached maximum capacity for this type of item. etc etc'
I didn't realise I'd reach a limit after about 200 CAWS, I was expecting to be able to download pretty much as many as I'd like. Am I missing something here?

This is from the FirePro Reddit: Miguel-F's Recommended Creators Sheet - PS4
Isn't Lord Worm making edits on the PS4? I remember having load of his on FPR and loving them!
Edit: the PS4 limit was 1000 last time I heard
